When he is sad, when he screams even when he is falling in love, they all look so natural, he is a hidden gem. He is a perfect match with my favorite actress Jung So Min, it is so sad they are not together anymore, hopefully they'll find each other again in the future.

I started with My Father is Strange and thought, Wow, this actor can show so many different depths to a character and had me laughing and crying through the series. He had really good chemistry with Jung So-min too. Then in the Silent Sea where he was incredible and made the series great with his wonderful acting and his prolific screen presence. Now watching Bugasal, he is making the series just fantastic to watch! He also has such a great tone in his voice. I wish him every success and happiness, and hope to see many more dramas and movies with him in them.

His acting is so delighful that i will keep watching the drama. Don't get me wrong, the other actors are really good, its the script that is lacking. he's definitely one of the best actors out there

he can act with a stare, with a smirk, with a twitch of an eyebrow... that's how good he is for me... his face is one of the most expressive faces i've seen... and that's what i love most in an actor - to be able to convey his message even without dialogues...

i wish he will make a season 2 for VAMPIRE DETECTIVE that one left me hanging... but with a diff female lead now please.. like a new life, new love... PD's out there please make this one after he got out of military... maybe with his love somin???

hopefully his self-confessed "ailments" of bipolar and insomnia will not be a bad factor for him to lead a happy fulfilled life now and in the future - with his wife and kids... in short, i'd wish for him to be normal despite his ailments...and do more excellent projects...

Zirev.com Feb 19 2018 3:06 am The first time I saw Lee Joon was on the film, Ninja Assassin, and that was 9 years ago. I saw him again on a thumbnail on a Gapdong YouTube video and recognized him instantly. His visuals are just so on point! But more than his visuals, he has good acting skills. He was great in his role as the psychopath Ryu Tae Oh. I just finished watching Gapdong last night and is still on high with the ending. While I already have a bias with his looks, his portrayal as Ryu was detestable but still got me emotional as the series drew to a close.

It's a surprise though that he doesn't have much projects. Hopefully on his return after his military service, I get to see him more on dramas.

Honeydewykins Oct 28 2017 10:36 am I really like Lee Joon as Ahn Joong-Hee and curious about his other works, so I searched for his older dramas and was surprised that I have actually watched 2 of his dramas without knowing that this is the same actor. Lee Joon as Ryoo Tae-Oh (Gapdong) and Ma Suk-Woo (Woman with a Suitcase) are like totally different person from Ahn Joong-Hee. Those 2 characters were the one I rooted and loved in the dramas. This prove how good Lee Joon's acting is. Unlike some overrated famous actor who carry the same expression and way of talking in different roles which sometimes make me confuse that I am watching a different drama. I hope one day Lee Joon will get his breakthrough role and be as popular as Jo In Sung. I realised that a good role/ drama selection is essential in building up an actor popularity because though I do like his previous 2 works, Ahn Joong-Hee is the one which finally made me took real interest in him as an actor (I might have love him sooner if I am into Kpop and know about MBLAQ). What worries me the most is that when he appeared in infinity challenge he was as dark, he didn't talk much, in variety he used to be the life of the episode, sincere, cute, nice, and funny, but he wasn't any of it this time.
