I really like his acting bc duk-gu’s role reminds me of my past lover (ex bf) and he’s also nice and he had done everything for me and was patient but I was rude, self-centered, aiming for fame and i was chasing the wrong person as-well like gul-mi, and only chose him because I was gonna benefit from him. duk-gu kept his promise and it reminds me so much of my ex bf because he’s a man of his words. I’ve never really thought about how I’ve affected my ex until I watched this series. like, I’m not even kidding. (had to share this bc this is the reason why I love Lee Jae-Eung’s *duk-gu’s* acting so much)

and he also really looks like my ex + same height and I’m taller like gul-mi.

ngl i hate gul-mi (the role only) bc she reminds me of myself so much.

i really love this series and I hope it’s not the ending. please give duk-gu and gul-mi happy ending!! make her more sincere.

Sam Mar 19 2021 9:21 am I have to go look for him because how great he acted in Love Alarm. I have never seen an actor, not to say doesn’t have a good look, but not as standing out as the main character, in kdrama that is so memorable as him. When I was telling my friends about this drama, all I can remember is the moment he sat at the window and slowly jumped off, and all his sayings in the drama, with soft shy voice.

When they slowly started revealing him as the creator of Love Alarm with him behind the computer, all I could think of him being as the "megamind" behind all this, all because he wanted to reveal his love for his crush.

I've probably said "megamind" about 2/3 times each episode when they showed him lmao..

Hopefully he didn't really jump off, because I really wana see the look on Gul-Mi's face when he's the megamind (I mean creator) of Love Alarm

I hope there will be a season two, even though K-dramas rarely get them, and that we see him revealed as "Brian", the app developer. Though when he threw himself out the window I thought that was the end of him.

Dewuta Sep 21 2019 11:01 am Wow!! So many comment on Song Kang profiles about his acting (and visual of course) but no comment for Lee Jae Eung. I think his acting as Duk Gu on Love alarms is pretty good, his character is totally real (nerd and genius, we can find this type ppl on real life) and his role is important as the Love alarms creator. He deserves more compliments. Good job boy!! Hwaiting. I enjoy your performance.
