First impression of him was questioning why he looks plain for a chaebol, later i find him more and more attractive, first time seeing him on screen so I have zero expectation. He ended up playing my favorite type of character.

Can someone change his profile picture here, he looks older than he does now and in that pic he was not even 20 in calendar age. Hello my new oppa.

Anyway I like his character so much in My Youth, and idk why but his character name (Kim Seok Joo) fit in so much with him. Ironically his chara in Youth (BTS) is Kim Seok Jin, eventhough they used subtitute name, Kim Hwan, but this fact is still amusing lolll. Was that a coincidence?

I first noticed him in Joseon Flower Crew as Lee Soo, and he did amazingly well taking on a king role. Then I watched Revenge of Others also solely for Seo Ji Hoon and well, he nailed his character again. Yesterday, I just finished Seasons of Blossom, and I fell for him harder. (Fyi, Seasons of Blossom was a really really great drama, 10/10)

Honestly, I have to say, his acting skills are very enjoyable and impressive everytime and always. I am not joking. I'm going to root for this man for he is noticably a one promising good actor. Especially with his eye expressions. I can read what his character is feeling. Aside from his exceptionally good looks and and deep voice, he is also tall and has nice long fingers (that's my weak point). Overall, Seo Ji Hoon as an actor will never bore you.

I hope there will be more suitable and game-changing projects for his acting career in the future. Seo Ji Hoon has finally captured my attention! Seo Ji Hoon, fighting!

I think in Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter , he has the portrayed the roles well. His eyes that were teared up but didn’t fall, his look of worries still in my mind.

I hope he will be given a good roles in the future!

Btw, check out his instagram. He really does have the good sense of photos. The light , the perspective , the pictures of himself are not ordinary. It’s really show the mood in a polite way which i find it’s unusal in a good way. All in all very good sense in arts for sure!

Even in Longing Heart / My First Love, he is not really get the girl. Hope Writer and Director will make him male lead in the next project who get the girl he loved and happy ending too.

LKB Feb 06 2018 12:19 am Since everyone here likes comparing people in Kdramas/idol groups, I will start with my hopeful future pairing: Lee Sang Woo... This guy would be a great younger version (ideally one like Longing Heart/1st Love where both get ample screen time) of him, whichever is considered the main role/era, or since LSW looks so young, brothers could be pulled off OR even a father son one if either they somehow age LSW, baby up this 20y/o more, or have the tale be about his dad x years ago when he was a little boy-several young boys emerging now can pass for him!

Anyway, I would have been much more convinced if they picked someone who has a similar feel and closer resemblance had been the older one (though age wouldn't work AS easily since LH/FL actually used people who could pull off 18 easily, just not 28 really), but I liked it, weird pairing nevertheless.

Having seen all his works except the hour long KBS special I am going to go view in a while, 1) wow, shooting up fast, kid! 2) What a great discovery of talent and obviously looks to kill (a lot of ovaries lol-explosion risk for both maternal sorts and obviously crush material!) and 3) I am so impressed with how dedicated he is to shedding the skin of prior roles and fully becoming the new one so convincingly... Not sure if that came from raw talent or he was in a lot of theater productions at whatever level, but had he been discovered 8 years ago, he could be second to only the likes of Yoo Seung Ho, possibly surpassing honed skill young master Yeo Jin Goo, even, by now. Still, what a gift to viewers this kid is providing!

Much like Yoo Seung Ho, though, my maternal instincts are begging him to cut down the super-effective teary eyed performances! It is killing me at a 'soulullar level as I sometimes jest when discussing mind-body interwoven symptoms, progress of both disease and recovery and so on... Oops, rambling tangent...

I hope he takes great care of himself and becomes an ahjumma slayer Ji Jin Hee style after a couple/few decades of being endearing, adorable, maybe sexy in a decade or so, maybe tough come military refinement of his chest and abs... He could go the Ji Chang Wook route or like Yoon Shi Yoo and Seo In Guk balance it well, or he could stick to the current Park Bo Gum route of winning hearts being a blend (his vibe, that is) of the sweet charming boy and the ultra cool guy no one can hate. Glad Longing Heart/My First Love got another 2eps. It was quite smart on OCN's part, and they can play with small ensembles of talent and low production costs for these light experimental works (while this has more holes, odd enough, than Meloholic and I can't possibly like the female as much as I LOVE the dual personalities from Melo -I do like the Ji Soo girl, just liking a lot vs 'freaking loving to bits' for the other actress I have long adored!)... This kid, by being mostly on cable shows, isn't getting the massive number of viewers, but School 2017 hopefully brought more his way. He is just GOOD.
