One evening, a strange man comes to Guk-Seo's (Kang Shin-Il) home. The man's name is Tae-Ho (Park Joo-Hyung). He was involved in a club murder case seven years ago. Guk-Seo was a detective who investigated the case. Tae-Ho walks around Guk-Seok's house like he is in his own house. Guk-Seo looks at him without saying anything. Guk-Seo's daughter Young-Hee (Uhm Hyun Kyung) then appears.

When they have dinner together, they begin to think about what happened seven years ago. The person who talks first becomes a failure.

Park Min Jun 22 2024 8:03 pm Everything was just too obvious from the beginning. It needed a better dialogue since it was character driven.

Johnny Robinson Jan 07 2017 12:46 am An excellent movie; the young man, Park Joo-Hyung, convincingly acts as if he was holding a grudge during his entire performance...Kang Shin-Il provides an excellent portrayal of a remorseful police detective who sent money whenever he could to the young man while he was in prison, and Uhm Hyun Kyung does justice as a PTSD-suffering young girl who, 7 years ago, accidentally killed the victim/(boyfriend-?) at the club by shoving him away after he grabbed her....

Shakespeare would have been proud of this addition to the KBS Drama Series of thought-provoking movies they have produced in the last several years.

(Spoiler) All three of the main characters suffers for the 7-year imprisonment of the innocent young man: Tae-Ho, from anger and thoughts of revenge which has led to a life-threatening illness; Guk-Seo, from remorse of framing an innocent suspect and not able to ask his daughter what really happened 7 years ago; and Young-Hee, who is scared to say anything after the accident, and does not seem to get over the traumatic experience for any length of time. She jumps emotionally from becoming spaced out upon thinking about the accident all the way to possibly being able to commit murder in order to bury the past.

A fine addition to the KBS movie library!
