Udaya Rajapakse Dear Machiko,

I just wanted to congratulate you for your wonderful acting in Carnation, which is currently being showing in Sri Lanka. Not only me, Our who;e family Including my two kids are eagerly waiting until It starts everyday from 6.30 to 7.30pm local time.

I think God has not only made you very beautiful but given you acting talents as well. From Ohara Itoko's character, we can learn so many positive things like sheer determination, courage & not giving up even at your late life by being very active instead of a lonely wife.

I wish you all the success in the future too, If possible kindly send your feedback. Would really like to Interact with you In future too.

Best regards,

Udaya Rajapakse- Sri Lanka

Vindya Dear Ms. Ono, i love your act in teledrama, Carnation . . . .like you so much , best of luck !

Sue Wentzel I happened to come across the middle of TV series the "Carnation", since then i have been hooked to this drama. I totally agree with 'Caroline' comment, also 'Denis' and 'Norpa'. I am looking for the list of Dramas that Ms. Machko Ono is the actress, she is really in the story.

dennis I have always beleived the British theatre produced the finest acting, but after seeing Carnation & a few other serial drama's from Japan I am convinced the Japanese have to upper hand . There acting ability is second to none. & the sets are so great. Only complaint is why can't we get a second look at such great series as Carnation & Always "Sunset on Third"

caroline Carnation is the only Japanese drama that i chanced upon by accident and have been hooked on ever since. All credit goes to Machiko One who played Itoko Ohara with such grace and conviction. I am desperately trying to get the whole series so i can watch it all over again, from the beginning. Her chemistry with Mr Suo (Guo Ayano) was fantastic and i wished there was a happy ending for them. I hope in another drama series, these two actors are paired romantically again. As for Carnation, i loved almost everything about it including the house pattern, the way they eat their meals, Itoko's lovely kimonos, the friendship and camaraderie between the friends and of course Machiko One's charisma and natural charm and Gou Ayano's spectacular good looks. Hope to see them again soon on television. Keep up the good work.

norpa She is a truly gifted actress. Because of her acting made this drama more real and interesting.

Irishguy Amazed at times here that really talented actresses have no comments because they are the other side of 30 while good looking younger actresses with lesser talent are always praised.

I really enjoy Machiko Ono acting. She does comedy very well and she proved in Carnation she can do serious roles when required.
