Sheri Feb 07 2025 8:17 pm I didn't know who Kang Min-hyuk was before I watched Celebrity, but it was getting such good reviews that I had to see it. After Mr. Han Jun-kyung appeared, I was infatuated. I loved his amused, slightly arrogant confidence, the smoldering look at the police station, the unbelievable chemistry at the fashion show, the youthful relationship with Yoon Si-hyeon that revealed his character. Then I had to find out who this actor is, and I watched 5 more drama series that he had acted in. Not only that; but CNBLUE as well. ... and tv interviews. So, it seems that he and Han Jun-kyung are two entirely different men. Bravo, Mr. Kang! I'm definitely going to watch his next drama, if it's on Viki or Netflix. I must be a fan now.

Most people remember him from Heartstrings and The Heirs because his drama afterwards is a failure.

Then boom Celebity happened and people (including me) thought that he at last comeback when in fact he is active all this while! Just that his after The Heirs and before Celebrity is a nugu drama.

Veteran Jul 04 2023 12:44 am His acting is amazing but specifically I think after he discharged from military service, his acting gets more matured and somehow leveled up even better than those years he won awards... I really believe he's an A class actor, but because of his busy career as a musician and other stuff these recent years like his book he was focusing on his life rather than acting.

But now after Celebrity he can't reject offers easily since it's a new era for his acting.

I wish him a successful acting career he is great as always in choosing the best scripts, all of his series are the best of their own time. After Celebrity I want to see him in lot of series ?

You can clearly see how much his acting improved during this drama for someone who lack of experience in acting and this drama is the first lead role.. Oh and the icing on the cake is that he's the drummer of CNBLUE, one of my top favourite bands. Between CNBLUE and FT Island I'm forever listening to their songs... and learning them! So awesome!!

kamila gwizdala Oct 02 2015 10:39 am great actor as well for singer and drummer in CNBLUE. to be honest altho The Heirs was a bad kdrama his character made it worth to watch it (but only his parts in the drama are worth to watch). the where also other secondary couples that they where cute as his in the drama , but i think he is the best one. I also enjoyed his character in Heartstrings it was very cute, and funny. He is a good actor I hope he gets a main character lead soon .

I think the drummer should sit back there and play some drums, and never mind about the tunes. Just get up there and wail behind whoever is sitting up there playing the solo. And this is what is lacking, definitely lacking in music today.

I don't think any arranger should ever write a drum part for a drummer because if a drummer can't create his own Interpretation of the chart and he plays everything that's written, he becomes mechanical; he has no freedom.

I told people I was a drummer before I even had a set, I was a mental drummer.

My dream job is to be a rock drummer and the alternate drummer for the Foo Fighters.

I'm the greatest rock and roll drummer on the planet and you suck.

First and foremost I am a drummer. After that, I'm other things... But I didn't play drums to make money.

My mouth has a tendency to get me into trouble, but because I'm so small and I take on people who are lager than me. If someone punched me, I'd get my drummer beat them up.

Playing drums feels like coming home for me. Even during the White Stripes I thought: 'I'll do this for now, but I'm really a drummer.' That's what I'll put on my passport application.

Every drummer that had a name, had a name because of his individual playing. He didn't sound like anybody else, So everybody that I ever listened to, in some form, influenced my taste.

It's much easier to have a diversified career as an electronic musician than it is as a drummer. Nothing against drummers. If you're a drummer, you just wait around for people to ask you to play drums. But if you have your own studio and can make music, you have the ability to approach music a lot differently.

But primarily, the drummer's supposed to sit back there and swing the band.

I can't play anywhere near like I used to, and I was a hot drummer. It doesn't bother me, because frankly, if you get to that point where you can't hold a drumstick properly, there are many other things in life which are far more important, like cutting a loaf of bread or a piece of cheese.

If your child marches to a different beat, a different drummer, you might just have to go along with that music. Help them achieve what's important to them.

I consider every drummer that ever played before me an influence, in every way.

When I was thirteen I only wanted to be a drummer.

I actually wanted to be a drummer, but I didn't have any drums.

It's not often that an English drummer gets an Oscar. So I'm very, very proud of that.

Ronnie Spec-tor's hair was taller and meaner and scarier than all four Shangri-La's combined, plus the drummer from the Honeycombs. You just know her rat-tail comb was a switchblade.

I got into figure skating for the art of it, as well as the sport, and how much I love it. And, you know, I do everything that I want. I march to my own drummer. Sometimes people have an issue with that, and I can't control it

I think every band is a little cautious when the drummer starts to write tunes.

I was a groupie for a year and followed a band. I dated the drummer of the band.

Sometimes I play guitar like a frustrated drummer.

But I think that any young drummer starting out today should get himself a great teacher and learn all there is to know about the instrument that he wants to play.

When I was young, I wanted to do something more low-key, like become a drummer in a rock band.

A bass player has to think and play like a bass player. A drummer has to play and think like a drummer, and stay out of the way of the vocalist. The guitar player has to respect everybody else.

Mainly I was able to perform with music - I played the French horn, I would sing, and I was a drummer in the pipe band. So I think it was a way to show off.
