I’ve seen her outperform some of the main characters because she is that good! I agree with the other comments below in that they really need to stop casting her as the ugly character. The last series i've seen her is go back couple and this made me really curious if she is for real. I mean everyone knows that plastic surgery is very common to Koreans and this girl can obviously afford it. So finally searched her and wow! she is really for real. She has great acting skill though. I would love watching her in every tv shows. I upload her as well for accepting ugly look rules. Adorable face and oh, there is something about her acting and the way she moves , perfect! Very talented in my opinion. So I appeal to all South Korean directors , Asian directors and International head hunters to cast her as much as they can . It would be a disaster to lose such a gem. I am grateful for her natural , not retouched looks, she is beautiful . I see it as the writers trying to send a message that people should carry themselves with confidence even when others may think they aren't the prettiest or handsomest human being that ever existed. Although it's nice to see beautifull faces, it's also nice to see a fresh confident actress who loves herself (I hope she does) and has a good sense of self and her acting abilities. The entertainment industry is very cruel to all actors. Doesn't matter how they look, because when auditioning for a part they are very harsh and very cruel with their words on what they are looking for and if you don't fit the description or act the part they will tell you like it is without feeling guilty. When an actor knows how they can attract viewers and uses that charm to their advantage, that is when you see a good actor. This is Lee Do-Yeon. I like the fact that she is not marked by the pressures society has imprinted on us; to look a certain way, because it is the beauty standard. When I see actors that aren't influenced by that I admire them. She doesn't ave any surgery done on her face and that is admirable when she has to deal with all these other actors that have gotten their nose done, or their lips injected with botox.
