Received an award in 2013 from SBS, but nothing again until the 2021 MBC awards for Excellence in a short drama...Moebius: The Veil. Love, love, love this guy, especially in comedic roles but he is sooooo good in dramatic roles.

siri Nov 29 2021 2:21 am what a good looking person and such a talent he has, so versatile. he can do all types of character. this picture didnt give him justice. he looks hot in the cursed and the moebius. just wishing i can access to any korean musical with him in it, he sang beautifully in three meals a day: doctors.

As i watch him, i feel like he is not interested. Based on his facial expression. But he also said that it was a relief being there. So I checked here and saw that he has multiple projects after HP so maybe he was really tired while filming the variety show.

I wish him good luck and i look forward to see more of his works.

Seung Ji Sep 23 2021 1:15 pm I was watching Hospital playlist and felt really uncomfortable with this actor’s character. Why? Because I had finished Haechi just before starting to watch this series. His portrayal of Prince Yi Tan was so convincing that I kept half expecting his character in Hospital to suddenly turn into a maniac. First time that has ever happened where I so vividly related to an actor’s different characters. Now I understand the situation with type-casting.

But back to his Haechi character. You want to hate this guy, really, truly. He is just so awful and vicious. But against my will, through Sung’s expert acting, all I could feel was compassion. How it must have been during dynasties for those who perhaps were due a high position but could not get there for one reason or another. I cried when he died…and I am not normally a crying kind of person. He is so good in those last scenes that you are feeling 100%…his pain.

His character is a perfect example of how people perceive the world around them. He could truly never see that he did not become King because he was his own worst enemy.

Thanks again for such a stunning portrayal of a character. I have this on my re-watch list.

Accordingly, I finally became a little calmer with his Hospital playlist character and was really moved in his scene where his wife delivers their baby.
