Nona Dec 08 2023 11:49 am More people need to watch Shoot Me in the Heart. Seriously! It's the most underrated movie of Lee Min-ki and Yeo Jin-goo. Lee Min-ki's character is like Byung-hee without the eye makeup in the movie and these two are hands down his best characters, then Chang-hee and Dong-hee. In his interview he says he feels like he isn't good at acting but his natural acting or even his natural self are very entertaining and enchanting. He has some charisma I can't put my finger on. I wish he took on more cameos and second roles though so we could see him in many more characters especially ones that are not the typical main lead role like happened with Chang-hee.

Love the seriousness in his roles and of his facial expressions that just makes me swoon when he cracks a smile. I have rewatched My Liberation Notes a couple of times and I still haven’t changed my comments. Lee Min-Ki’s character Yeom Chang-Hee brought so much life to the series. Lee Min-Ki portrayed his character to perfection that you couldn’t help but feel all kinds of emotions. I hope the scriptwriter will create My Liberation Notes Part 2 just for Chang-Hee and his comical friends.

You are particularly excellent in Very Ordinary Couple, Shoot Me in The Heart, Oishii Man, The Lies Within, and of course as Yeom ChangHee in My Liberation Notes. You are always excellent when portraying an ordinary guy in certain particular circumstances. I am not really fond of your drama The Beauty Inside and Oh My Ladylord and I think you are not really meant to be a chaebol kind of guy (of course this is my personal opinion and I am being honest as your fan). Your portrayal of Yeom ChangHee is the perfection of your effort to become a versatile actors and I wish you try more varied genre like The Lies Within. I will always waiting for your next work. Learning from her she always remind me you better watch this, this and these. So many line ups to watch. When Pandemic came and lockdown, my life begins miserable, I am a very busy person work, work and love to work at all. Then suddenly my life Stop and Bored. I turned my life into kdrama at all. For two (2) years No Go Out and just stay at home. My laptops, cellfones none stop watching kdrama. I have already finished to watch The Beauty Inside for nothing, I don't even understand the message of the story its just happened and passing that way. Last month April 2022, I tried to review all my kdrama movies on file. I got this Beauty Inside and watch it again seriously. Now, I really, really like it and I appreciate your acting with no effort at all so natural even sometimes playing fool.. I love your character, the way you deliver. Even the character of your leading lady she delivered it well. My Congratulations! to you and all the cast of the movie the Beauty Inside and the Good message of the story. You maintain the professional focus on finding Sang hum yet the underlying tension of caring forSeo Hui is there without letting it overriding Detective Jo’s ingrained drive to do his job thus the very intense tug of war. I have not finished The Lies Within. I actually save the episodes for evening time. It is like read a great novel. I worry about the characters. I also like that you look like a real person not a man doll. From your publicity pictures you could have chosen the “ man doll” look but you chose to look like a person who puts in the long hours and intensity Thank you. Hope u do more

But, some actors stand out no matter whether they are in a good or a bad show and Lee Min-Ki is one of those actors. His range is ferocious and he actually looks like a man, rather than a doll.

He's a great actor. In Shut Up Flower Boy Band he made me cry so much. His death in ep 2/3 made me cry for the next 4 eps straight and cry more during the other eps. He managed to get me so attached to him as a character in those 2 episodes and that's incredible. I know the writing also has to do with that but his acting is amazing. He was also great in Because This is My First Life.

The plot may be inspired by another, but that's okay, because it was such a good one with all other excellent porgress not only by the MC's but also the side characters. I've cried, sympathised, fell in love and laughed along with all of them. It's such a great drama. Well written, directed, and has a great chemistry (for me) too. It's not something you encounter everyday and would ever remain as a treasure for me.

Then i thought of giving the drama another opportunity so i did , it wasn't bad but still i think that if i could do an alternative story he wouldn't have died. hope he comes up in other dramas , he has such an interesting face ^.^ , plus his acting is awesome.

I re-watched episode 1 and 2 like 3 times before I moved on. However, after that I left the drama alone and have moved on the search out your other dramas.
