That film really stood out to me, and his performance left such an impression that I couldn’t help but look him up afterward. I started watching more of his work, like Strong Woman Namsoon, and that’s when I realized he had already been on my radar—I remembered seeing him in Record of Youth, which aired back in 2020 during the pandemic.

But let’s be real—Lovely Runner? That one wrecked me (in the best way). It wasn’t just a drama. It was therapy. It made me laugh, sob, scream into my pillow, and completely lose my heart to Ryu Sunjae. That show healed me. It saved me. And suddenly, Mondays weren’t so bad anymore because Sunjae-yah became my ultimate “Monday Blues Cure”.

How can I not love this guy? How do I even begin to explain to non-fans how joyful it is to support someone like Byeon Woo Seok?

Now, here I am, cheering for him as Sung Jin-woo and as a fellow anime and Solo Leveling fan. Rooting you for you also as the 21st Century Prince’s Wife.

K Jun 25 2024 6:32 am Met you first in Weightlifting Fairy but I was blind like Sol ? you can really see how much his acting has improved over the years. He did very well in Lovely Runner; his chemistry with Kim Hye Hyoon is through the roof. This kind of chemistry doesn't come around very often, makes me wish it were more common in South Korea to reunite in projects like other Asian dramas. Attended his fan meet and he's such a sweet, down-to-earth guy. When you read more of his interviews as well you can tell he has a great mindset towards acting and life in general. I haven't stanned an actor this much ever, but I can't help but look up to him. We're the same age too! He's an inspiration to be better. Wooseok fighting!

You can definitely notice that with his every move. Even the subtle changes in his expressions are on point. Rare can you find a facecard with skills to back it up.
