Gang Nam-Soon (Lee Yoo-Mi) has superhuman strength. She went missing as a kid in Mongolia. Now as an adult, she comes to Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea to find her parents. She finally meets her mother Hwang Geum-Ju (Kim Jung-Eun). Her mother is a wealthy woman and is a resident of Gangnam. After she lost her daughter, Hwang Geum-Joo tried to find her daughter and she also tried to live a righteous life, obsessed with doing good deeds. Gil Joong-Gan (Kim Hae-Sook) is Hwang Geum-Ju's mother and Gang Nam-Soon’s grandmother. The grandmother and mother were also born with superhuman like strength like Gang Nam-Soon.

Somehow, Gang Nam-Soon, her mother Hwang Geum-Ju and her grandmother Gil Joong-Gan get involved in a drug case that takes place in Gangnam. Detective Kang Hee-Sik (Ong Seong-Wu) begins to work with the 3 women on the drug case. Gang Nam-Soon also becomes attracted to Detective Kang Hee-Sik.

Kellie88 Dec 09 2023 10:22 pm Not worth it at all. I watched it because I like the first one with Park Bo-Young and Park Hyung Sik so I thought this one would be great too but nope - not even close. The story is so boring especially the grandma love story....dragging too much. The funny parts are not even funny but straight boring. The only person that kept me watching is Byeon Woo Seok. I only watched it to ep.8 (with lots of skipping and fast forwarding) then skipped episodes all the way to the last one.

Ryu So O and gang Nam Soon brief romance was more convincing to me than the Cop. The grandma' s Romance was over the top, more than the granddaughters, & the daughter's romance. If you have been watching action movies for a while you will know that, they didn't get it. Some parts loos so unbelievable. It makes me doubt. There's always room for improvement. We can always do better.....

Nini Dec 02 2023 11:30 pm I've seen SWDBS so many times so at first I was meh when I heard this was being produced, but the trailer had me excited. And then I watched the show. It has nothing on the original story line. The only similarity to the show was her strength and family background history. Other than that, it's rushed, the goals being met during the first few episodes, feeling like a happy ending and unsure why you should continue. I kept on, and the goal changed into the drug issue which was fine. But honestly this was way darker than I originally thought, too many good characters died meaningless deaths and the violence was really too graphic at time. At one time the ML villian kills someone with a metal pole, in which blood splatters across his face. I know the directors are different for each of these and maybe that's why. The somewhat cliff hanger didn't leave much to be desired, except hinting at the new strong girl being a male. Welp, there goes the whole plot line. I watched it all, giving it multiple chances but in the end it's not something I will ever come back to. I can't complain like others about the overacting and exaggerated characters reactions because that kind of cringey acting was in SWDBS as well and it made me love it cuz it lightened the mood. But in all honesty I wish they had called it something else. The first was really balanced in hilarious and intense moments, and the goal remained the same, the continuation for each episode got you ready for the next and final ending. But this drama couldn't keep up and was honestly all over the place, and the ridiculous affair the grandmother had, despite her husband coming back really ticked me off. Plus her not losing her power for hitting him even though she was in the wrong. Sure he could have called, sent mail, or whatever, but that never excuses cheating on a spouse, even after finding out his reason for leaving. I think in the end, Ryu Sio should have been stopped in some way, and she didn't even prevent him from anything, feeling bad for him. Not sure why everyone liked him so much, he was a murdering druggie who enjoyed torturing people and killing anyone who so much as ticked him off. His background was not an excuse, especially when using the scene of him being handed a gun and forced to shoot a man as a kid. I'm sorry but if really hated his childhood he shouldn't have continued to kill people, and if he did he should have gone after them, not innocent people. He claimed he hated lying the most in the end yet his entire existence was a lie, he lied about everything he did and hid his true motives. He should have paid for what he did, the suicide with dignity? There's no such thing. In the end this show wasn't worth watching at all and if they keep going later on I won't even bother with it.

If you want something lighter and haven't watch Strong Woman Do Bong Soon yet, watch it instead. This one isn't worth your time. I've never left a negative review on this site, but it was so frustrating to have wasted so much time on it.

Bread Song Nov 28 2023 3:40 am I enjoyed this light-hearted & doesn't take itself seriously romp. Sure, there were plot holes & inconsistencies throughout but the main cast Lee Yoo-Min, Kim Jung-Eun, Kim Hae-Sook & Byeon Woo-Seok played their characters well. I mean, Nam-Soon is just too naive & sweet but it's her naivety that builds this comedic, laugh out loud moments, which I think the writers were intentional about - and I loved it. Same goes with the veteran, Hae-Sook, she's always has this presence & gravitas in other more serious K-dramas but in this I enjoyed the mad-cap, silliness that she plays with a straight-bat. I also enjoyed the campiness that Jung-Eun exudes in her various outfits, outrageous styling and over the top reactions. I mean, again, I believe this is intentional by the writers that they got her to "ham" it up.

My only disappointment was how Siu-O's character played out. For the main villain, his character was very multi-layered e.g. his upbringing in Pavel, his abandonment etc so I appreciated how the writer intended it. I felt this really made him a compelling villain but alas they really mucked it up & perhaps they were juggling with too many story lines to conclude his ending in a more meaningful way as it felt a bit rushed. Siu-O's end was not a shock & in a way, I'm glad it turned out that way. Again, I think from the writer's intention, Siu-O finally got to escape Pavel.

The best supporting/side character has to be Ki-Bum's Bread Song. I laughed my ass off whenever he gets into his seduction mode. His moments with Jung-Eun were gold! His like the male equivalent of Geum-Ju!

Anyhow, on the whole I enjoyed it and looks like either there will be season 2 or another spin-off and the focus will obviously be on Ki-Bum's character - can't wait!!

So the maternal X is a dominant trait here right? What do they mean with what they said about the mutation on X and Y?

Yun Nov 27 2023 8:04 pm I really enjoyed this one. Very light hearted! I enjoyed seeing Kim Jung Eun again also. -No annoying MIL's - No parents fighting against the couple. Just the opposite. - The couple actually had compatibility and seemed to want the same things -I wouldn't call Si O the 2nd lead syndrome. There wasn't really much competition for the top spot. They only looked at each other. -They all seemed to care for each other genuinely, even with Myung Hee they turned a foe into an ally. -I enjoyed seeing the older couple with the cliche parts. It was almost like sattire. And from 2 of the greatest veterans in the business. It was a fun one. I knew Si O would never have just gone along with the arrest, so there was nothing surprising about that. Thanks to the writer for taking the higher road.

This is literally the worst k-drama I've ever seen. It started okay. The plot and stuff. It was doable. But I was wrong. 1st. They did Ryu-S-io so wrong. He was the best character in the whole drama and he carried the show. He could have a redemtion arc but they ruined it. The FL was the red vlag this whole time. She could change him in to another person. He trusted her, but she betrayed him. He did not chose to be a dr*g seller. He grew up like this. As a maffia boss. He deserved so much more. The writers just killed him. And make him make miserable, but he was actually The script is messed up in so many ways. they thought they could make a cute couple, but they miserably failed in doing so. The story is just shit and this spin-off is just not it.

I skipped so many scenes, bc they were so unnecessary. The script absolutely sucks, as if it was written by a 4 year old. Infact, even those kids make better stories. I know he has good looks, but thats not the reason I rooted for him. But guess what? They just killed him. Even when he killed himself, Nam soo (FL) just shedded a tear, but she was the red vlag. Now she feels sorry too. Also, they just ended his life instead of redeeming him. Don't blame the actors, blame the writers. They did a horrible job. The ML and FL chemistry lacked till the very end even after Shi-O’s death, theyre more like buddies. I hate the fact that I spend my braincells on this very dissapointing story. This story was bad an nonsense and Ryu Shi-O deserved more. They don't even need a season 3, its getting worse and worse. I liked strong woman do bong soo the most. I don't get why people hate Shio, He selled dr*gs, killed people and was bad, but he could atleast have redemption-arc He got betrayed by his only love. Best friend and birth parents. And they expected me to hate him. I regret watching this drama. They even gave the girl who st@bbed namsoo a 3rd chance and with Shio they didn't even considered his backstory neither a change to change him into a good person.

The characters are poorly written. I hate the fact that they lacked chemistry and the fact that the mom was weird. She was too stiff imo. I know I'm harsh but this drama could be an amazing spin-off but they failed. Also I cried when Shio died. He's in my eyes no villian. Just a heart broken person. he didn't choose to be raised by maffia. Like what was the red/green light for? Why did they gave him a backstory? If he was the villian, why make us feel sympathy for him? The villain was the only character with any depth with the other girl. My mom watched the drama with me and she rates it als low. We dropped it mid-way bc it was boring.

The cast was okay. I loved the grandma in other dramas, but this drama was trash. But something lacked and made me pissed. I just kept asking myself why I was watching this nonsense. And whoever says shi-o was a red flag or bad person are wrong. 'HE IS EVIL' I know, but can't evil people be humans too then? At the end of the day theyre human. Nam Soon was a red flag this whole time, she lend him on. All shi o needed was a helping hand someone he could trust. And she ruined it. Now he's dead and they can't save him anymore. I was so excited to see this drama, but I'm very dissapointed by the outcome of this drama. It could do so much better with a better script thats NOT written by a 4 year old. I literally cried when he said 'I was abandoned 3 times Once by the birth parents Once by the only woman I Loved and trusted Once by the friend I missed'

The writer is the true villain and they can't stop me from hating this series. Why did I spend my 2 months on this shitty drama...

Anyways, I loved all the cast, but the FL and the ML could have a better script. No, the whole drama could be better with a better script. I give this a 3/10, but Byeon Woo Seok is 10/10. That was the only reason I watched it. His acting was top-tier and outshined the ML so bad. I lowkey hope they're going to give him the credit he deserves. He carried the show and did it well. ''Just because he’s handsome you guys are colorblind af' No were NOT. He's indeed handsome af. But thats not it. They just killed him without regret. While Pavel is still out there selling shit. So I'm not delusional, you are. people think 'we' like him is bc of his looks. But theyre just delusional. If he was that monstrous, heartless villain some people want to see him as, he took good care of his dad silently, opened a shop for him so that he can live comfortably. What do you want more? He had given so many screen time and yet he died, so the screen time was just for traumatizing us at the end. There was to many screen time for supporting characters, what was very sad. The cameo was actually top tier of park hyung sik and park bo young. Theyre still the same and I loved the cameo of them. It gave me so much hope.

Still, this script is messed up and trash. I don't think I will recommend this to anyone. You may hate me for typing this, but its my opinion. Feel free to hate on me. also, y'all can have opinions on your own. I respect them and I get them somehow. But don't call people stupid and trow hate at them just bc their opinion is not similair to yours. People have feelings and opinions too. Anyways, I hope coming up 'My Demon' will fix my k-trauma. My tears are done and I'm gonna move on. No hate to anyone who played in this drama. It just lacked things and those left me dissapointed and thats why I cried. I hope they learn from their mistakes and make a kdrama that has a better script. The actors have so much potentional and have great visuals, but the characters are just trash. Overall, 3/10

The title should have been Strong Mom and Grandma of Nam soon. I don’t see also the importance of Nam soon’s grandma’s love story here and the story should not have focused only on Ryu. It got boring and dragging. Lacking action from Namsoon.

Perhaps Nam Soon could have exploited her strength earlier and better, instead of setting out to do what she can't do (the policewoman). Also surprising was Ryu Si O, who despite his apparent strength and confidence finally found himself alone. A little difficult to understand. A TV serie that although not exceptional lends itself well to a second saison as superheroes are long-lived and deserve more attention. Our rating is 75 Saluti dall'ITALIA !

I only wish they have they had a season 3 with same cast.. in my opinion this is Way Better than original drama because its about how rich people are helping the good, which is rarely seen in dramas, and how super power is used for good haha

This might be a callback to In Guk-doo whose parents were highly accomplished but he'd fixated on going to the police university instead of his other options.

I seriously am uninterested in all the characters (even namsoon) except Si-o. Look I know he's the villain, but it's really the writers fault for making his character have the most depth and emotional range and also making his story tragic which in turn make some people sympathetic. Add to the fact Namsoon betrays his trust even though she keeps on saying to trust her and she kinda plays with his feelings I think some are alittle annoyed with how one-dimensional she's made to be. They probably should have cast 2 different actors for the villain and SML. I don't really care who she ends up with I just hope the ending is at least satisfactory and justifiable. Seriously such a waste of a good cast and premise.

I'm sorry guys Kdrama villains come with a way higher standards, some even win and much of the actors look much sharper and less feminine flower boy idol. Also now its obvious Sio was way too dumb when it came with Namsoon and love doesn't cover for it. Too many instances even suspension of disbelief doesn't hold up about dumb things the police, the mafia and doogo all did and thought just for this plan to work.

I'm so amazed with his angry and crying scene. No wonder, in korea, all people (korean netizens) praised him so much for his acting skills. Especially for his vocalization, his intonation, and his stare. even korea netizens called him all rounder actor. As we know, it's not easy to get praises in acting from korea netizens, they're all have high standards and so objective, so when all korea netizens praising him for his acting, we know that it"s fact and really true. I hope he can get an award for this amazing and versatile role

rose Nov 18 2023 11:36 pm The plot and pace of drama actually was very good in the beginning, but in the middle parts of drama, the plot seems odd and looked messy bcs they keep prolong the drugs problem. Maxmovie article in Korea also said that it’s such a disappointment for the plot of this drama, the drug problems that has already appeared since ep 2 even until ep 13 still couldn’t be finished yet.

I also noticed that how slow the plot of this drama is caused by the writers seems want to keep forcing the love line between the villain and Namsoon —no, to be exact the writers just want to show about the villain now, even i don’t feel the 3 Strong women as their main story anymore right now. Which I think that’s very bad.

And even with so many scenes of the villain, the villain still couldn't deliver the villain's vibes. I couldn’t get the feels of him being the villain in here. His stare and his expression is empty, couldn't show the vibes of villain at all. The villain who nailed his character in the drama is actually the one that make all people scared of that character. And i couldn't get that feels in this drama sadly. I miss to see the villain in dramas that can give you creepy feeling just from the gaze, and the villain in here is failed.

I just hope they can catch the thieves or villain soon, cause all this drug problems area already too long, we need to move on

I would love to have a plot twist that a villain x female main lead (Shi-Oh and Namsoon) would end up together. Shi-Oh might have redemption and character development because the real main villain are Pavel. I love Hee-shik of course, but Shi-Oh and Namsoon have this chemistry

She depicted her role so perfectly, she's a carefree, fearless & someone that doesn't think much before going into action, just like her mother. Also she's someone whose way of living is different from others cos she was raised in another country, behaving lackadaisically has always been charm and that's what everyone likes about her. She wasn't raised to hide her power or pretend. And thanks to her, her mother & grandmother we could enjoy a funny side to this drama that would have otherwise been very tensed. So please give the girl her props cos she's killing it.

I initially wasn’t sure how I felt about SGNS Until I watched it through another lens which opened up a different level of enjoyment. It occurred to me that this drama reminded me of a comic book story that came alive on the screen through an artful experienced cast, consummate director and cinematographer. It allowed all the wonderful aspects of Korean humor to pass through each episode. Somehow it all hung together beautifully without seeming “cheesy” nor improbable. The actors, true veterans, “got it” and made each scene work. I’ve watched much K Drama over the last many years and truly experience this drama as unique in its quality & enjoyment. Lee Yoo-Mi’s grin becomes priceless, Ong Jeong-Wu (a favorite) a great emotional balance, Byron Woo-Seok, a standout, Kim Jung-Eu & Kim Hae Sook , loud, loveable, outrageous & so talented. I recommend this drama without reservation but suggest you find a lens other than a traditional k drama to enjoy all this one has to give.

Apart from a better cinematography and a few moments until episode 3, the rest pretends to be something else than it is. The cast is mostly from the successful comedy, that is, the supporting actors, even the hairstyle imitates Bong Bong's, but it's not just comedy. Not even romance so far. The actors know that they are talented, I have seen them in other productions where they shone. But in this, the direction pushes them into some exaggerations compared to the bland script, which make them ridiculous and not comical. Only cringe at the maximum level, in luxury packaging. Too bad, the actors and the subject deserved something better.

Whi Nov 17 2023 5:41 am After watching tons of clips, reels, and fan-made videos, I decided to watch this drama. Only to be disappointed that BWS was not the male lead!! He was in all the videos I watched, I didn't see a single HeeSik and NamSoon pairing video. In the first season, the lead scenes were cute, but I find the Ongseungwu and Leeyoomi scenes so cringy here. I see why most fan videos are of RyuSio and NamSoon. They have more chemistry.

Anyway, it doesn't look like it will go the way I was hoping for. So, I might just skip this drama and just watch clips of RyuSiO and Namsoon together.

While Catwoman/Lady Wayne was great in the beginning I'm kindof tired of the mom now. Bread Song's assistant is great though. Nam-in's arc and it's resolution was unsatisfactory and in bad taste. And no offense to the writer but I've seen better done romances for the old to middle aged couples in those very few series it is done in but I'm not feeling Granny's romance at all.

If you were looking for a silly romcom, this kdrama isn’t it. I think this drama has excellent casting and the plot is so interesting. I think they gave the grandma a love interest because she has nothing else to do Nam Soon and Geum Ju are too busy trying to “bring down” the drug ring. Give this drama 10 stars.

He's literally so cool despite the fact that he's the villian. He has a great personality and his development is so good. He's definitely the best charecter. I don't like skipping scenes as much as want to, but in this drama, I seriously can't resist skipping the scenes that are just not important and have nothing to do with the main characters. I really hope there's a plot twist or something, I need more of the main characters.

The actor who plays the villain is just too dominant for her. But Ong Sung-woo is such a great choice paired with this actress. None of them overshine the other and they seem to have a great chemistry on screen. The problem with this show is the plot, they drag the plot a lot with the side characters, when they should've focused more on the main leads (for example, I don't care about the grandma's love interest and I skip all of her scenes - most of which don't contribute to the storyline at all).

I completely agree with the previous comment about Byon Woo-Seok’s fantastic aura and undeniably outstanding charisma, even in his role as a villain. He has a mix of cool, melancholic, kind, and chic look that make me cannot take my eyes from watching him. As Ryu Si-O, obviously, he won’t get Gang Nam-Soon. His role may even be dead at the end of this series. But his acting will leave a long impression and he will get lots of sympathy from the viewers. I am rooting on him now and will follow his career. Of course, there are scenes with other characters. It’s a complete story, not just about Nam Soon. Of course, they will catch the bad guy and Nam Soon will date/marry the detective at the end of the drama. Have to wait a week for the next episode …………

Joy Oct 30 2023 9:21 am I enjoyed watching this a lot. While watching ep8, I just realized that the FL looked familiar, and thought that she was one of the cast in All of us are dead and squid game. Wow it took me up to ep8 before i recognized her. Her acting is outstanding. She always play her character so well in every drama/movie that she’s in. She even won an Emmy award. I always have a good laugh watching this kdrama. All the casts are great. I love the first season ‘Strong Girl Bong-Soon’ but I love this one even more!

While I understand the demand for more Nam Soon and Hee Sik scenes, I don't get why viewers are complaining about the other scenes especially the grandma one. It's actually a great comedic break for the heavy side of the story. I also actually love how Nam Soon's story, while being cheeky and fun, is geared towards into the action direction. Overall, so far, I'm satisfied with how the story goes.

I think that is how Nam Soon's character should be portrayed (naive, cheeky, being too brave & kind) and Lee Yoo Mi did great. Strong Girl Do Bong Soon should not be compared with this kdrama, both are very different, the only same things are their superpower and how they are blood related. But I would agree about how they should focus more on Nam Soon and Hee Sik. The scenes involving grandma and her boyfriend sometimes look a bit too much. Unless there will be another shocking story will be revealed later like her boyfriend is actually part of Doogo. Hopefully the second half of this kdrama will get better.

It's just not good as the first one also the female lead is not good enough for her role here . she act too much like moving her head so much which is kind of irritating. Her facial expression is just not good. I don't know but it looks like shes not good here. She act better in AOUAD.

After Ryu Si-o tests her power in Ep 7, hereafter, hopefully, she will exercise more caution against Ryu Si-O and anyone making offers to her, as she can't always behave 'arrogant', as it is alright to be proud of one's superpower.

Worst thing is that st&(&*d writer/s wrote in how people are eating like pigs. The Fake's gang are eating like pigs and as if they just took asylum in the south. The brother is depicted as a gentle person but they definitely need to write or direct better so viewers are not puking when watching the show. Food spewing out of his mouth when chewing and talking. F%#@ing disgusting. I fast forwarded when his eating scene comes out. I think they St##$%d writers are over doing it. It really is not f(#$ing funny.

Also the male member have depicted as getting the wrong end of the gene pool. In the original version which I liked, the brother was a MD. Do not have to be the same but not in the minus pool. The uncle scenes are bad which is the same the as the twin brother scenes.

Nam Soon is not the only character. If you wanted the drama to be like the first one, best you stop watching this series. This drama is a 10/10 for me.

Guys in the strong family in the previous season are supposed to be normal while the girls are strong but in this version the guys are downright weak to the point of being sick and can't even walk without their strong mothers geez. why did they make it like that?

i still like the first season better. its more realistic and more funny and less with the nonsense plot.

The FL plays her role like a spoiled child, not worried about consequences of her actions at all. The ML is incapable without her help and why does a detective needs the help of a young girl to uncover the biggest drug organization LOL. The scene where FL caries him was hilarious and so unmanly scene for ML. Same scene from S1 but this time it anoyeses me because of the young age of her caracter and he's character is like an experienced detective... The mother is too scary, her staring gives me creeps every time and don't like the scenes where she rides her bike with full open jacket and her chest uncovered, but the stunt is fully covered as it should be on action scenes... I feel like I'm watching Powerpuff Girls drama. 3/5 show it's too childish for me and I'm 25...

Now in 6 ep i really see Jeon Soo Kyeong as Kang Hee Sik's mom (Mrs. oh , i don't see her name in the casts here) and i laugh so hard to see her again, especially when she say that Geum Ju is older than her LOL (JSK is 9 years old older than KJE)

Both of them are cool, tall, pretty, cute, and good actress.. some may say that they have long face but thats fine, i enjoy to watch them in K-Drama + Movies

Lately I find some kdramas to be rather slow, and specially comedies have a lot of issues with bad editing. But not this one. The acting is great. It is Korean comedy style of acting, like it or not. I prefer it to American, British, Spanish and other styles of acting... but that is just my preference. The Mongolian episodes are very beautiful. Only thing I do not like are the opening credits. They look cheap and ugly.

The Mongolian strength competition also wasn't for money or fame but the one hosted by the mom in Korea for the prize money would have caused her to lose her power and how they should have spotted the fake Nam-soon. Also yeah extra superpowers are weirding me out. I can buy the vision might be from her stay in Mongolian as many have theories that her adoptive parents have supereyesight because of the vastness of the land but those powers were never supposed to be there, just superstrength and definitely not plane stopping crazy. Not to mention they're supposed to be cousins and that itself is confusing. Does Bong-soon feel the power too?

Even if what she did to the gangsters was personal justice she deliberately went overboard in episode 1 and she loved every second of the torture she meted those gangsters. And forget them gangsters she broke a man's tailbone for a comedic interview, even if it was Minhyuk's orders because she did it for the job shouldn't it have backfired? The rule in the book was about doing evil more than just selfish gain- the ancestor's personal gain was about being evil to common innocent people and we saw Bongsoon's mom not just cheating in worldwide competitions as someone aware of her powers and that she was cheating but also bullying boys and exploiting them. Plus Namsoon's being an innocent child might have played into it aside from maybe it being for her poor Mongolian parents so it didn't count or something. The extra powers are seriously too extra and overpowered and breaking the established world we knew of. The eyesight maybe they'll explain as something she got from living in Mongolia(since her Mongolian parents had crazy eyesight too). The three generation connection is new but acceptable because Bongsoon's mother and grandmother were supposed to have lost their powers so they couldn't have synced with Bongsoon. Their beings cousins is still mystery because then it would mean they are cousins from the grandmothers being sisters or something except every generation in their family is shown only as a sister-brother twin.

Please understand I know this is a spin off, but the ladies of this family abilities are already set up in SWDBS sooo...why are liberties being taken?. The magic connection between the three ladies? Was that in the original? Extra super powers? Not in the original. All of this I can ignore but the fight in the 1st episode in Mongolia I cannot. In the original the book said: "you could not use your strength for selfish gain, ooooor you would lose your strength and have spots on your face" Namsoon was definitely misusing her strength Aaaaaaaand humiliating that poor man. So she shouldn't have her powers anymore.

I laughed at the scene where nam soon started building her tent at the park, I mean from her character's perspective it make sense and at that situation you gotta do what you need to do. Girl it's tough out there, it's nice to see her using super power and exposing it in public lmao haha I enjoy the idea and creativity of it, although in reality it will get you in trouble and that's what's happening to her. I'm looking forward to the dynamics of the 3 women generation working together, I think that's gonna be the strong point of this series for me, also a little side romance at the side. The 2 main characters look good together and they're cute and sweet. I also like how they are slowly showing little snippets of the main villain, it's such a tease lmao. The ending scene of him holding what seems like a long cotton bud about to clean his ear, cracked me up. Please don't bash me for saying that! I just find it funny lol

sigh* from the trailer alone I could tell this was going to be bad and after watching the first 2 eps, I stand corrected. Was super bored and decided to watch even tho I said I wouldn’t and I regret it. Already so many things I don’t like. That first ep was all over the place, the leads have Zero chemistry and their acting is beyond awkward. And just everyone feels so badly casted for this. I hate that they’re just re creating so many of the scenes from the original like WonHae’s character losing his teeth, the police going under cover dressed as a woman and her carrying him on his arms while running. The original was obviously silly but this is just pure cringe. Like what the hell was that with throwing the bell all the way from Mongolia and hitting the lead with it in Korea?!? Bruuuhhh.. I think I’ll rewatch the original to cleanse my soul and my eyes. Those saying this spin off is better y’all need help.

My intuition says is not going to work for season2 although they retained the same theme of strong girl concept.. If at least they made efforts to cast Bong soon and min hyuk and extended their story like what after happened after their marriage..how they resolved crimes in neighborhood..it would have been lot more interesting. It’s just how I wish only. No hard feelings for fans of this series.

It wasn’t my favourite series, it wasn’t bad I just kind of liked it. Therefore I’m not bias towards this new series like a lot of people seem to be. I like this new series Nam Soon is resourceful and adorable, plus I love the dynamic between her and the detective. Even if you watched the first one I say watch this one too, give it a chance and try not to compare it to “Strong Girl Bong Soon”

If they are trying to make a serious continuation of the original, this attempt is a sham and an insult to the viewers who loved Bong-soon. The acting is exaggerated and overdone. The mother is either the stupidest person in the world or the actress is attempting a comeback and is failing. While Bong-Soon was warm, touching, and funny in a mature way, this version belongs on cartoon network and I think even kids would walk away from it. So much anticipation - so much disappointment. There are so many better productions from Korea and China. Isn't your time valuable?

I like how the story is going so far. The cast seems great as well. I just hope the ML, Ong Seong Wu would improve a bit. I am not sure how to describe it. His screen presence isn't strong, or memorable.

Kim JungEun is a bit frightening, her staring gives me nightmares, liked her in MDW. I'm sad that Byeon Woo Seok is not the ML but the bad guy, a rising star! Don't like that much FL to be honest, her expresions are always to childish on other shows as well.1st episode it was okay, not great but maybe bcz expectations are high comparing with previous series.

"Strong Girl Namsoon"? means she and her family are also gifted with super strength by the god on their verse...Remember where they got that power, it's their ancestors helping someone that's why...So just think that Bongsoon's family is not the only gifted one but there are also others.

PS. Don't worry, Bongbong and Minmin might have a cameo in thus drama because... just like what I said!! They're on the Same Verse hahaha

I've watched her movie 'Young Adult Matters' and let me say that she's definitely an underrated actress. She can play the annoying girl in All of Us are Dead, she can play the cool girl with a dark past in Squid Game and she can play the I'm depressed I'm cutting myself habit girl in Young Adult Matters.

She has played each roles perfectly in every single movie/series.

I'm solely gonna watch this drama for her. Not because this is a spin off of Strong Girl Bong Soon. ♡
