Was it because he focuses more on his modelling career or that he just wasn't even considered. Really hope that he will be offered different lead roles and that he will take up the challenge. In his earlier role, he embodied pure evil; and in the later role he exuded honour and sincerity. What range he has, with few facial expressions. That take talent!

Mochi Nov 18 2020 12:20 am I really do believe he is overlooked in this industry, and it's a shame because I see how good his acting skills are. When I first watched him in Valid Love, I didn't see his looks; honestly, I wasn't even physically attracted to him. However, the way he portrayed his character in Valid Love struck me in awe, as if his character could really exist. This is when I noticed his looks as being handsome; it was through his acting. After that, I wanted to see more of his work, so I started watching his roles, starting with White Christmas. He played his role beautifully, and for some reason, I was able to empathize with his character. From then on, I've watched all of his roles, and never was let down by his skills. The only let down I have is not from Lee Soo Hyuk himself, but it's the industry not giving him a bigger role and overlooking his talent. Hopefully, this can change in the future, and they will be able to see that Lee Soo Hyuk can act well and bring characters to life, especially the main lead roles.

He is top 13 male model in the world back then. He was ini milan and paris for catwalk,wearing top brand outfit. No wonder jang ki young idolize him and said he is his motivation to enter modeling.

But as actor he is underrated, most he got offering for antagonist roles, he is shine more if he play as protagonist, but they always offering him similiar role,as an wealthy arrogant good looking man for years, his different roles were vampire,dracula, a lovet on valid love and police, he remind me of km jae wook, whom need more years for having lead male protagonist role.eventhought they are good as actors.. But his handsomeness is so modern and exotic it will be difficult to find a standard role which match with his features as lead male. His face is only match for rich man which look cold and arrogant role, or vampire. Meanwhile Korean people more prefer for classic handsome face.

I hope he got his dream role someday. He is good actor. I love you LSH.

One day, " Born Again" caught my attention while i was looking thru different different drama lists. After watching 1st episode, Wowwwwwww ! Damnnnnn why is this guy playing a second lead? He deserves to be the main lead ! No harm to the main lead's fan girl out there aite :) But i seriously do think he is way better than the other one. Perhaps he looks cool all the time, but at least we can feel him when he acts.

I do agree with you that there are some similarities between him and lee soo hyuk, but for me, I see it as a small similarity. I'm not really into chanyeol's physical appearance because he has a very young, pretty boy look which is wonderful for the younger fans and Kpop fans. However, lee soo hyuk has a very masculine and handsome look, which is why many females of different ages are drawn to him. But, say if chanyeol had a growth spurt, then I would see some significant similarities between the two.

When it comes to acting I only look for 3 things : expression, voice, and unique personality . this actor seems to be good in all of those besides being a very handsome good looking guy. I saw him for the first time in King of High school, altho his character there look very shadow and apart from people at first toward the half of the serie, he seem to love the girl , and I found very sad that he did end up with the lead girl. altho i like who the drama ended I didn't like that he wasn't given the chance to stay with the girl. And since I saw him there I decided to buy Valid love jut for the fact that he bis on it I haven't seen it jet , But I have read a lot of comments of people saying that he ends up alone again in this Korean Drama, SO KNOW IM VERY CONCERN about if he is going to end up again alone in his new drama as a vampire Gwi . I'm jut pointing out that even if he is a very lovely character in this dramas he seems to always end up alone , and I'm very curios to know why Is he always getting the second lead character instead of the main and why is he always ending up alone ?. I mean seriously Why ?. So Im pretty sure that all the people will support my request of asking that please choose a drama for this great actor where he is the main character or the second one , but he atleast ends up with the main girl or the second main girl character . PLEASE we want him to have a happy ending. ( Hopefully he will end up with Kim So-Eun in this next drama of Scholar Who Walks the Night )

Lee Soo-Hyuk please stop picking these depressing scripts, you deserve better. Lee Si-Young too, her last two dramas had atrocious stories IMO. I regret watching both Golden Cross, and Valid Love. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Kim Jae-Wook has a very sophisticated, honorable, classy gentlemanly look about him. This actor seems to have an alternate period in time look about him.....I would say.....futuristic.
