Alina Ecaterina Antonia Mar 15 2024 6:38 pm I started watching K dramas during the pandemic and in the last 4 years I can say that I have seen over one hundred. Korean actors are mostly very good, but among them, there is a unique one that caught my attention. He does not compare with anyone else, in my opinion South Korea does not have another artist who can compare with him. This exceptional artist is No Min Woo. I discovered him first as an actor, then I discovered his exceptional musical talent. Singer, composer, actor, No Min Woo excels in everything he does. As an actor, he has a unique presence. He can communicate non-verbally in a way that is very difficult to describe, it is a whole universe that is expressed only through his eyes. He is graceful as if he has only studied ballet his whole life, and his appearance cannot go unnoticed in any form. He is an exceptional actor because, when he gets into character, absolutely nothing of his real personality is betrayed. He perfectly overlaps his character. I've seen famous actors, awarded with Oscars, each of them betrays something of their real personality, none of them completely borrows the character's aura, as No Min Woo does. He can do any role but It is true that this actor is an extreme one, in the sense that he would be very suitable for unusual roles: magician, angel, demon, vampire, sorcerer, prince, deity, supernatural being, someone absolutely fantastic, fascinating and of inhuman beauty. This would be No Min Woo in the roles that would capture him best and that only he could make unforgettable. In my opinion, this is an Oscar material actor and it's only a matter of time before he gets the right role. There is currently no artist more complete, fascinating and qualified in South Korea than No Min Woo. However, he has few films and I don't understand why his huge potential is not valued. I hope that in the near future Asian actors will be co-opted in world-class international productions and then No Min Woo will receive the right role to propel him towards an Oscar award.

Alina Ecaterina Antonia Sep 22 2023 6:52 am Thanks to Netflix, I was able to watch this amazing actor in Partners for Justice 2, one of the most original K-dramas ever! He played a character with a triple personality, “Dr. Jang Cheol”, aka “Dr.K.”. Although his character was never meant to be the center of attention, he managed to draw the audience's attention to his character in such an unexpected and fascinating way that it makes him simply unforgettable! Interesting to note that it was not the character "Dr.K" that made the actor No Min Woo famous, but, on the contrary, the actor No Min Woo made “Dr.K” famous and fascinating. He did one hell of good job in this drama! If you think about it, it was a very difficult role but quite limited, the actor didn't have many opportunities to put his qualities in the light and he wasn't very visible either. Certainly, if it had been any other actor cast in this role, “Dr. K” could have gone almost unnoticed. No Min Woo’ s fantastic aura of mystery made “Dr. K” so fascinating, stunningly beautiful, and now everyone wants to see him again. No Min Woo really beautified everything, the triple personality of his character “Dr. K” is no longer frightening but full of poetry, beauty and mystery. The actor No Min Woo has opened up very interesting possibilities for a "Dr.K" who might become the main character in the following "Partners for Justice 3" series, but, if for various reasons this will not be valued and what No Min Woo started will not be continued, it will be a great loss for this drama and, of course, a great loss for all of us, the public. I still hope to see Partners for Justice 3 with the character Dr. Jang Cheol/Dr. K as the leading role, as many people expect. If it were up to me, I would bring to light the character of Dr. Cheol/dr. K and I would focus next the action on him! Let' s not forget that Dr. Cheol didn't kill anyone, even if he can no longer practice as a medical doctor, he may still practice as a brilliant forensic doctor. I would like to see this character evolving and working in the same team with Baek Bom and Do Ji-Han to uncover the corruption and real culprits. That would be refreshing! ?

I would love to watch this fantastic actor cast in such a leading role! I don't know how things function in Korean show biz but ... you have this precious, fascinating, rare actor and you will not use his talent and charisma?

I love the way he dives into a character's perspective and executes it in such a way that could draw you in, and feel. I've watched him in "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho" and "Partners in Justice", and guess what? Yes, I literally brawled my eyes out, pleading for the director (in my mind) to give his character a happy ending. What can I say?! He's just that good as an actor!

And the sassy side of his character in "Forbidden Marriage". He has that oh-so-charmingly-dangerous-but-lovely-charisma and the looks! And including his talent? He's literally a full-package deal! His voice too, he sounds like an angel. ?

Also, I really hope they'd push for the Season 3 of Partners in Justice, the cliff hanger just didn't sit right with me, and I'm really hoping for more. I cried in the last scene tbh, bc I couldn't accept that it was the last episode. (literally experienced all stages of grief except for acceptance ㅠ)

I hope and pray for more success in your journey 형! Goodluck and Godspeed to your music and acting career. I hope the universe gives you more projects and other good things! Because you deserve it!

He is very professional and excels in everything he does. His stage appearance is so unique, so magic and majestic! He is simply too good to be ignored! Due to his charisma he can save any crappy script with his mere presence, because you'll keep watching him and not care so much about the rest :-) The simpler the makeup and the outfit he wears, the greater aesthetic and emotional impact on the audience! He has the most expressive eyes I've ever seen!
The Directors who let Mr. No Min Woo be natural in "Partners for Justice 2" and "Forbidden Marriage" have very good aesthetic sense and great intuition, congratulations for that!
His face might be very tempting for make-up stylists and hair stylists and I've seen fantastic transformations: red hair, blonde hair, blue eyes...however, every transformation makes me a little sad because the best version of Mr. No Min Woo is the natural, unspoiled one.
A million dollars cannot buy someone the look this actor naturally has!
No makeup in the world can compete with those mesmerizing dark velvety eyes, ebony long hair and satiny white skin. Not to mention the voice, the imposing stature, the abnormally beautiful long hands and everything related to the physical presence so important for a great actor who impresses you at the first appearance before saying any word.
Even though I live "on the other side of the planet", I look forward for "Partners for Justice 3" to be released with the same eagerness and interest as I was waiting for Avatar 2! Hope the action will focus mostly on Dr. K! :-)

ellie Jan 25 2019 3:52 pm I have to confess my favorite project he did in 2015 was Eating Existence (10) 8 min. episodes in a webtoon. I felt he was much more true to himself. After all, he is truly an artist..and we get to Noh Min Woo actually eat. And of course a few other sweet scenes. It made me smile when he took his shirt off just to play the drums.

I dunno if many have watched him play guitar, but he seriously is an amazing musician. This is one man who gets younger instead of older. When he was in Pasta he was heavier than when he was in My Unfortunate Boyfriend. And even in Pasta, he was beautiful.

Still, Min Woo is more than a pretty face. He is truly beautiful and I hope he gets more beautiful parts in dramas soon.

I prefer him as a redhead but he is still quite the handsome man no matter what color his hair is. LOL I wish Netflix would get more of his movies or dramas.

CW Dec 14 2014 4:20 pm It's amazing this multi-talent isn't noticed more! NMW has androgynous beauty that is like no other. He is not a "stick out" kind of guy, yet at the same time, he is. His eyes are intense, pure and you feel like he can read your thoughts with those eyes. Never mind the rest, his eyes alone could carry you. That said, I feel he is often not put in roles that would have been great for him. But time will tell he's still young yet. I think he would have been great in the lead for "My Love from Another Star". I can see him in something that deals with him as a wise person long beyond his years. Someone that isn't typically moved by ordinary things. Something along those lines. He mentioned somewhere about wanting to do Boys Over Flowers, I think though, that would be a huge mistake. Lee Min Ho nailed it, it won't come back again, even LMH himself couldn't bring it back in "Heirs" , so just let that go. NMW needs to make his own path, not tail onto someone else's stuff. He has it, he could do it, but he needs to be cast better. I'm really behind this actor. I support his efforts.....

Once again, it is always good to see you in dramas, no matter how small the role. I remain confused as to your role in the death of your brother, the murders and how you are trying to reveal the truth. I am also not to sure what your role is with the chairman/grandpa dude...is he your father, I'm going to have to go back several episodes and re-watch maybe I missed that connections. In this latest episode, I don't like how they are sealing up your lips by threatening your pregnant girlfriend....but I can understand why you'd chose to keep quiet now. I really wish your drama had higher ratings. I mean I know I'm watching and by the comments of others, someone is watching...but nevertheless, you are a beautiful man and keep up the awesome work.

I wish people would stop asking "is he gay" and think about how you'd feel if someone was always calling into question you sexuality.
