He is believable in every role. It’s clear he takes his audience seriously, he gives everything and leaves no room for improvement. I have never enjoyed an actor the way I enjoy Junho.

He executes every role so well that it’s hard to believe he is acting.

Just Between Lovers is a masterpiece and King the Land a piece of fluff.

I enjoyed his portrayal of Gu Won in King the Land. It was deeply satisfying that his personality changed, thanks to the richness Sa Rang brought into his life.

Another person commented here that it seemed that all Gu Won ever did was daydream about Sa Rang, linger over cups of coffee to be in her presence, and be there to catch her whenever she lost her footing… and, thank God, he always had an umbrella with him!

But, his mind was always working and that was evident to me through his interactions with Mr. No, King Hotel’s “best assistant.” They played off each other very well. All of the members of the ensemble cast seemed to benefit from Junho’s presence and energy throughout the series.

It goes without saying that the love affair between Gu Won and Cheno Sa Rang had all the ingredients of believability and passion —- their scenes together worked so well because of their palpable onscreen chemistry. Their sustained kiss at the end of Episode 8, well, it’s deeply satisfying.

I simply love the series and I’ve binged it three times on Netflix. In the last six weeks, I’ve seen Junho in The Red Sleeve, Wok of Love, Rain or Shine, and Cold Eyes. I’ve also enjoyed many videos of his musical career with 2PM and his solo work, all found on YouTube. His solo concert, Junho The Best, is one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. That’s coming from a 73 year old who saw the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Cream, and a few other iconic bands 50 plus years ago.

All of this has encouraged me to subscribe to ViKi, the Asian streaming service, where I’ve seen several other K-dramas.

I’ve become increasingly interested in Korean culture, a new interest that I never expected. I’d love to learn the language but it looks/sounds daunting.

I’ll continue to enjoy watching Junho’s career and look forward to him achieving more success and awards. I think he has a long career ahead of him. I hope I live long enough to see him mature in his career.

Jonathan Aug 31 2023 12:42 pm I watched Yoona and Lee Joon-Ho in King the Land and found them both charismatic and fun to watch, both of whom I would watch in another series. I felt like King the Land could have included a little more development in their personal life (relationships especially and perhaps more complexity) and his business life (hers was developed well, he didn't seem like he deserved his position because he didn't seem to do much for much of the series) and a little less visual and imagery buildup that had little punchline other than being gushy, but I'd still rate the series as definitely above average (4 out of 5 stars) and worth watching. I very much enjoy the romantic style and overall direction of this series. The actors were charming.

WonSarang Aug 14 2023 7:04 pm I first saw Lee Jun Ho in the drama Good Manager. I was so impressed with his acting there. But after a few years, I saw him again in King the Land. He is a really good actor and not only that, he is also one of the best singers and dancers in the whole world. I really enjoyed King the Land with Yoona. I was excited because of Yoona but then I came to love the drama because of the sweetness of the leads. they really look good together and their relationship is mature which many people can find very inspiring.

However, I find the Finales not very satisfying, because the directors leave one wondering whether the principal star characters will be together forever. That was not the case with King The Land as we actually saw the characters marry.

Although it is listed as a drama, I laughed all through the movie. What I do not understand, and I am not Korean, is why in every movie the heroine falls and the man catches her and then they stare deeply into each others eyes. It must be a Korean formula but I think the movie would be better without that gimmick.

Now, I’m obsessed with Lee Junho. This guy is one those great talents who can do just about everything- he’s not just a great actor with a Baeksang Arts Award under his belt, he’s also a great singer, dancer, composer, producer, stage director, etc. Above all, he’s a philanthropist with a golden heart. I’m totally in love with this guy!

And Lee Junho was the first idol-actor to win Top Excellence, actor in a miniseries in 8th Apan Artist Awards. Added to the Baeksang which he won this year 2022.

I watched most of his drama and will watch the red Sleeve over and over again. It's a heavy love story drama that made me cry but loved it. I feel he should have won an award for his performance in that series also. I am going to go on and watch Good Manager because I need something lighter to watch of his. I look forward to his next endeavors. Maybe something funny and a sweet romance. I can’t take crying anymore!!! Saida Dec 31 2021 4:51 pm I started to get interested in the Korean entertainment world in 2015 with dramas and watched a lot during this period. So I'm new here. However, I totally fell in love with Junho after JBL. He attracted my attention with his emotional, sincere, strong play, rainbow eyes, and beautiful lips. From that day on I started digging into it and finally, it made me a fan of him and 2pm. I think he is the greatest singing and dancing artist (to my taste). But for the acting, he is simply handsome - and not handsome in the face or smth like this, but his spirituality and the way he radiates in each role. (Of course, he is one of the most handsome and charismatic humans alive, again to my personal taste) Many people say that he is one of the best idol actors. He's the best idol actor for me. He is even one of the best actors of his generation. Because he challenges himself. From his debut roles in Cold Eyes, Memories of the Sword, Twenty, Chef Kim to Just Between Lovers, Confession, Wok of Love, Fatal Man, and now in "Red Sleeve". (I left out Memories and Rose and Tulip because I want to watch them later when Junho gets some rest.) Take a look at this list. Can we say that there is at least a 1% similarity? Not at all. They are all different. He played the sweet, mischievous and diligent detective in Cold Eyes (who will believe this is his debut role), a loyal and mature soldier who fights between his duty and love (his sword fighting skills are excellent) in Memories of the Sword. The boy next door, approachable and reliable, with a real struggle between responsibility and passion in Twenty (his first comedy and not cheese at all) and his latest film Homme Fatale - the comic-tragic sageuk with feminist overtones, where he played a mega seductive gisaeng with many charms, cute, funny, sexy, with a burning sly gaze and a tragic life story. He grew up among women and knows all about them. He could hate them and despise their profession, but he turned out to be a subtle connoisseur of women's souls, a balm for their wounded hearts, a guy with a pure, sensitive heart. The comedy in the movie is so good, especially the scene where Junho started a gentle monologue/poem and it's turned to be the lyrics of the Wonder Girls "Tell Me"?. Even though he has always starred in good films and with a great and professional cast, that hasn't stopped him from shining and drawing attention to his acting. About dramas, in Chef Kim he played the difficult character, but he skillfully performed an unpleasant type, so charmingly, at first, he aroused hatred, and then finally conquered the hearts of people. Just between lovers - so much has been said about this masterpiece, but I want to add smth about Junho's performance. He won me over in the first few scenes and I started involuntarily believing him, and it seems that this is not acting at all, but just a period of life, reflected in the smallest details. After Seo Yul in "Chef Kim", from such a mature charismatic young man in business suits, the haughty glutton prosecutor to the sensitive, emotional hero here. It was a complete reincarnation. Junho smoothly, unhurriedly conducted his role, without piling up and overlapping emotions, without coldness in restraint. Very correct, in halftone tones the complex, depressive nature of his character, naturally and without a hint of falsehood, but at the same time deep. It was very interesting to watch the birth of the feeling of love. Meeting, falling in love, parting, misunderstanding, realizing true love through comforting each other is a psychologically subtly told love story. How many simple words did they say about love? And each time it is like the words of the heroes themselves. The way he reached for Moon Soo. How sincerely and strongly he was attached to his granny. This betrayed in him a deeply and permanently lonely person seeking affection, but his inner demons prevent any rapprochement. How much he had to endure, how much suffering and pain to portray, but in order to feel the role, you need to get used to the character, it was not easy for him. By the end, Gang Doo's character is fully revealed and realized by Junho. Even after the drama, Junho said in one of his interviews that it was difficult for him to part with the drama and he was "used" to his character, so he had to deliberately distract himself from it. I willingly believe in it. This work deserved a reward. The wok of love- is such a sweet, sunny, and joyful story. Junho was so sexy during the cooking scenes. It was interesting to follow him, even when he was just kneading and rolling the dough. From such emotions, he gives out just goosebumps. Especially the grown-ups' embarrassment for a one-night stand's offer, self-loathing for feelings, a drunken cutie, and a high amount of winks made this drama a gem. Last but not least, he knows how to look at women with love. Confession- As a lawyer, Do Hyun has an intellectual mindset, assertiveness, exceptional willpower, and self-righteousness. He was just gorgeous, not only did he play the smart guy well in court, but the character himself turned out to be very warm and lovable. Flexible, natural, and incredibly charming. In a split second, he could flash so many emotions on his face. He is incredibly natural, without unnecessary pretense. The Red sleeve- such brilliant acting. From the first seconds to the end, Lee Junho played flawlessly. He is perfect for the lead role. I couldn't imagine anyone else playing San. His husky sexy voice, deep gaze, shy smile and curling lips. He is very convincing in his role with his looks, acting, smoldering eyes, smile and emotions reflected on his whole face. What to say about his commanding but comedic demeanor? Or the desire to be right and decent for his nation, while struggling with deep loneliness. He makes this drama great. Only episodes 11 and 12 are enough to see his talent. Junho plays well in this drama and excels in both romantic and tough scenes. In general, I noticed that Junho somehow looks very organic with all his partners in the frame. He is good at interacting with partners. You can feel it. He knows how to play in pairs, not drawing attention only to himself. Junho is a very influential/powerful actor, so versatile in what clothes you don’t wear and what role you don’t trust. Even when I thought that sometimes the same characters and scripts are used in Korean dramas and films, Junho would rise like the sun. In every role, he makes me curious. Wish him all the best.

If you watch the last scene of episode 7 of the Red Sleeve, you will discover the array of Junho's acting ability and the depth to which he can take his character. I watched the last few minutes of episode 7 several times as few actors have been able to convey the intensity of emotions that he does in this scene - episode 6 concludes similarly. I think Junho has the ability to be one of Korea's, if not the world's, leading male actors. Well done Junho.

I have no idea what his off camera personality is, but in this series he was outstanding, fiery, angry, and gentle, loving and beautiful. His acting was fabulous. His character grew as the series continued. I cried through most of it. I never do that. I was so moved by him and many of the actors. Director did outstanding work. I will watch everything he does going forward. Thank goodness for the happy I couldn't take another sad chapter. He lived yeah!!!

I would say you were fasinated by the shadows made by the two lamps and you pushed a botton. But it is also possible that you knew about the dual nature of light and a phenomenon called interferention of waves - the best visualisation is by trowing 2 stones in water - the waves you see interacting in the water are the same as the waves of light or the waves of sound. You guys of 2pm when you sing produce waves that react with each other the same way in the air and the public here this complex beautiful sound. It is amazing how fast he has learned some cocking scills - chopping, wokking with two woks at the same time, trimming a lobster etc. I saw already some videos and it is really very entertaining and also different from all his other dramas and films .

You are doing great job Junho-ssi ! Take good care of yourself and your beatiful voice. I wish you lots of luck with your new drama and hope you win an other award with it !

Lee Joon- Ho played a good role, i really admired his performance in this drama. I am looking forward to see more of his acting on the next drama. He deserve an awards in his acting, i was surprised also that he is a member of 2pm..... he is really a talented guy. Now I am a big fan of him. Good luck Oppa!!!

Nat Mar 02 2018 11:23 am I feel like I've withdrawal syndrome after the end of Rain or Shine (which is the best Kdrama I've seen since probably Secret Love). I need to see him act again. Such a wonderful, charming and talented actor he is. Between Manager Kim and Rain or Shine, he has become my favorite idol actor. I don't know how I slept on this man for ages, since I got into Kpop before 2PM even debuted. Not only can he act, but he is a brilliant dancer (just youtube his videos), a talented composer (he is among the top 10 male idol with most written songs in Kpop and his solo releases are great) and a great singer too (his voice is so damn good, like it melts my ears).

Wooyoung was the only guy from 2PM I paid attention too, granted Taecyeon was the most popular one. Then I saw Junho in Chief Kim last week and damn he destroyed, burned and ripped off my bias list so hard. I couldn't stop staring at him in Chief Kim, he made the show for me. Then I watched Just Between Lovers and I fell in love. He went from being someone who I never paid attention to being my favourite in Kpop in an instant. Wahh he is the total package, he can dance, sing, act (the best idol actor i've seen) and is damn hot.

Just last week, I watched Chief Kim and saw Junho for the first time (yup, kill me.) and was amazed by his acting ability. I was like..holyyyyy! Who's this guy? I need to find his identity (lol) and the drama he has done from the past. And I found out he's from 2PM and not long ago started his kdrama (thank goodness! I still have time to catch up). I've watched Chief Kim and Rain or Shine, so I will be watching Memory later! yay!

I was already in awe with his performance in Chief Kim and then.. BAM! Just between Lovers hit me even harder! I am definitely, 100%, hands down, heads over-heels, stalker-mode-on---- new fan of him! ha!

I hope he can make more kdrama before entering his military enlistment. Good luck to this guy and I bet he will be a top star for sure!

CKW Feb 13 2018 6:06 am He did a beautiful job in portraying the jaded yet soft hearted Kangdoo in Just Between Lovers. He was really the heart of the show (ofc Won Jinah was the soul). Highly impressed by his versatality which he showed within just two shows (he played the villainous Seoyul in Chief Kim very convincingly as well) which I'd consider an impressive feat. Normally I'm very skeptical of idol actors but he's among the best I've seen without question and I wasn't even a fan of his before this. Would love to see more of him in the future.
