Gu Won (Lee Joon-Ho) is a son from a chaebol family. His family owns and runs the King Group. He is then thrown into an inheritance war over the King Group. Gu Won is a smart, elegant, and chic young man, but he is not very good with dating. He is unable to resist a fake smile.

Cheon Sa-Rang (Lim Yoon-A) has a bright personality, with a smiling face. She begins to work at the King Hotel, that was the backdrop for some of her happiest memories from her childhood. While working at the hotel, she faces various difficulties. She also grows as a person. Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang meet and a romantic relationship develops.

Laureen Dec 09 2023 3:57 pm I don't understand the trajectory the script was supposed to take, first the FL wanted to work in the hotel when she grew up but then has a change of heart towards the end of the drama. The romance between the main leads was too rushed and the characters lacked proper character development throughout the drama. The ML's sister could not convince me that she really hated her brother. The story involving the ML's mother isn't fully explored to the viewers satisfaction. The FL's grandmother was really sweet. The drama was a let down in my opinion, especially due to the fact that it had the best actors in the industry, it's a pity their talents were not fully utilised.

The leads are great but the problem with ex K Pop singers like Lee Joon Ho, they have all had their faces shaved with surgery so their heads look like triangles. It’s unnatural and detracts when they are acting well. Can you imagine any famous Hollywood stars like Leonardo Di Caprio or Tom Cruise with triangle faces. No! All the same, a very good drama apart from that.

The drama was overall really nice and fun. There were few extra cringy moments, but apart from that it is worth to watch. Characters were also great.

Their romantic scenes were nice but nothing new. The stories that I am more invested on are those of the female lead's best friends. Go Won Hee's love story is much more interesting. And Kim Ga Eun's family story is more exciting. Her dead beat husband and bum in laws make my blood boil. P.S. I love that they have Kim Young Ok here. She's really great!

If you like TRUE romantic comedies that are centered around romantic with natural chemistry, you will love this. And those hot kisses will make your heart flutter. My heart dropped when the Ml asked permission when he first kissed the FL. I also loved that their names were Salvation and Love. King The Land is my NUMBER 1 all time favorite kdrama!!!

Also It proves that even if the main lead are not just attractive like the male lead , his not that handsome compared to other actors but he has a lot of charisma and the acting is on point , also the female lead is not that a beauty , just a common Asian beauty but they clicked. the story is okay though to those who are fund of romcom but this is better than business proposal and what's wrong with secretary Kim.

It’s a cliche plot but their chemistry is out of the roof that it feels so much like it’s something different. I love watching this series and will watch it again❤️❤️

Isla Aug 14 2023 5:32 am King The Land is my favorite drama for 2023 and is on the top of my favorite RomComs and comfort Kdrama of all time. There's a lot of things I like about KTL. First, Yoona and Junho's chemistry is undeniably strong. It shows in every episode and scenes they're together. 2nd, the supporting cast are also good and enjoyable to watch. 3rd, it tackles different issues in a light hearted manner but still coming up with resolutions. 4th, it's so cliche in many ways but it also have its own charm and uniqueness. 5th, it's so easy to watch, I find myself smiling so many times throughout the series. I highly recommended this drama! Enjoy watching!

Even the behind the scenes were so good & heart fluttering such a natural & outstanding acting of the lead characters. It feels like Im watching a real life kdrama. Though it got so many negative comments here maybe but the ratings & rankings speaks otherwise. It was so love by the viewers all over the world. It got number 1 in Ntflix for non english tv show. It also got 323 million viewing hours beating other kdramas that aired last year.

The drama was a sweet and refreshing straight up romcom, no genre mixing, a modern take on classic kdrama romcoms that we all know. It was really fun and funny to watch. By modern spin, it isn't a typical rich guy poor girl chaebol drama. The main FL is working class and not desperately poor. She has a decent job and tons of skills. Main ML was both supportive of her and willing to learn from her and grow as a person. It was very easy to watch and honestly I'm grateful it was, I needed that break!

I really like the story is has comedy and the romance is not cringe (for me).. but I think this drama left a lot of main point from it's original work (webtoon).. for example the fact they met in childhood days when FL's mother working at ML's house plus how she got fired.. the point that ML actually remembered (or kinda?) his past life.. the fact that the father in webtoon is much more worse like he let his son got drowned just because he want his son to be strong.. and many others (I think)..

Nevertheless, I think this drama really give a lot of disappointment after all the hype we got in the early episodes... I don't know if you all have different opinions from me, but for me who love reading the webtoon, just got really disappointed by this adaption which usually the reason I avoid watching any drama adaption from webtoon like Sweet Home and See you in my 19th life..

I agree the plot isn’t much and its premises is full of cliches but for some reason it’s not cringey or boring at all. Rather, it’s full of pleasant surprises in places that I never thought a ‘cliche’ romcom would go.

I think for the most part it’s due to the actors’ explosive chemistry. The leads are also mature, communicative, and they break the usual chaebol/employee stereotypes in the most pleasing way possible. The male lead actually listens and learns a lot from the female lead, and she isnt the typical naive, powerless or insecure.

It is also a mix of slice-of-life of service workers and accurately depicts their struggles. Their problems may seem ordinary but it’s really what makes it relateable to me as one myself. All in all it’s a very enjoyable watch to me and i found myself looking forward to new episodes every week. Totally deserves the hype.

There should still be some depth to the storyline, it felt empy, like somethings missing. I'm sorry but, endless tropes and kissing scenes alone doesnt mean it's a good drama. Can't believe they took 9 months to film this!!!! This was so dissaponting as a Lee junho fan, it makes me believe he just chose this drama because he has feelings for Yoona. Smh

This drama started so well and was funny. I liked the friendship between the characters and the conflict between the siblings. The writer built the storyline so well that I’m at a loss as to how it went downhill. Did the writer give up towards the final episodes, did they hire a ghostwriter to complete it. What an anticlimactic towards the end. For the first time I was bored and lost interest in the storyline.

There was so many unanswered questions, regarding his mother, the relationship between his sister and father should have been explored more and closure should have occurred. He never even introduced his girlfriend to his mother. What happened to the conflict between the siblings, I thought there would be a build up towards the fight for ownership between siblings but all we saw that he already became become president overnight and all of the sister’s threats didn’t materialise. This drama gave me memory lapse, I was so looking forward to climax of the drama and the showdown between the siblings that when I saw he has already become the president without a fight, I lost interest in the story, it felt like there was a time jump. What was the whole point of building the story in this line if it was going to be abandoned.

Also, are we as viewers meant to believe the highest role the FL could achieve in the hotel was being a special made to the owners ?‍♀️. She couldn’t be promoted to a management position or any other department and was it necessary for her to buy her own B&B when she marries the ML she’ll have to move in with him as he can’t travel to and from her place to his hotel due the long distance.

There was just so many unnecessary plots added and instead they could have used the time allocated to those useless plot to complete other storylines that were just left unfinished.

I only recommend the up to the trip to Thailand episodes the rest are lacklustre. It’s truly a mediocre ending.

Besides that everything else is also perfect, enjoyed watching every episode, and waiting with all might for the lasts episodes for this weekend, I’m really hoping into a happy ending and thank you all !!

Director Im Hyun-Wook captures the audience within minutes of the opening and never let’s go. His directing signature seems to be “clean crisp efficient scenes”…so refreshing & effective. The Actors: I literally became giddy as each entered the drama. Lee Joon Ho, a known talent brings such energy here. He’s amongst a group of actors that risk trying all ilk of screenplays. Every script is not The Red Sleeve but delivers equal pleasure & gravitas to every project. TY. Pleased to meet Lim Yoon-A…beautiful nuanced performance. My favorite ladies, Go Won-Hee & Kim Ga-Eun cast in the same drama…Wow! Of Course Kim Young-Ok…what’s to say but thank you❤️ Kim Sun-Young…OMG playing a character you love to hate? like despise…that’s acting! Son Byung Ho continues to dominate the screen with a special charisma. Ah Woo-Yeon is on his way as well dominating the screen in his scenes. Two more episodes to go this weekend. nalimo Aug 02 2023 4:20 am it's a lighthearted romance, the plot is very cliche, but I liked how the characters were written, it was refreshing, usually in the rich & poor kind of romance, characters themselves might think they're doing something wrong and it creates some kind of drama, but I liked how in this show both characters were very confident of themselves, their own standing and their relationship, they trusted each other, they treated each other as a fellow human, they both knew their own worth and the worth of their partner regardless of what society might think. The show doesn't offer you much of a plot, a story, but it offers you likable characters, overall I enjoyed it, acting and production was also good.

All cliches were checked: traumas in childhood, growing up alone, chaebol, rich boy, poor girl, she trips and he catches her, dating in a playground, bad blood between siblings, managers without work ethics, lazy inlaws, the rich father has a son from an affair, etc, etc....Boooooring. Actors are very likable and I feel they can do much, much more....this drama doesnt do them justice

The story is light and typical kdrama CEO and his worker relationship. Guess since this is also broadcast in Nelflix that’s why others are curious. I prefer action Thriller, action romcom like crashlanding on you or descendant of the sun type of love story. Selected fantacy like alchemy of souls. Zombies series. Selected historical action drama like the Kings affection, Mr. Queen. Revenge drama like the promise, school 2015. Horror/ Thriller like revenger. This is my type of story of kdrama that excites me in every episode. There’s already hundreds of romcom bout this type of plot of boss over worker love story, there’s no exciting part in this type of kdrama. But we have different taste and opinion and this is my opinion,thanks.

Gee Jul 26 2023 12:45 am It was really nice to see Eps 11&12 move forward to see Won get some actual work done. This series is light and fun, it may have some fillers and eye rolling moments but too much kissing isn’t one of those. In my view, it’s been one of the most realistic portrayals of a new couple in love in Kdrama land. A new couple in love can’t get their hands off each other and are always looking forward to being together. For this, I’m grateful to the director and the main leads for not going for the usual wierd kdrama love stories where couples only kiss once or twice.

I watch kdramas for their uniqueness, creativity, and modesty. But I think this drama failed to exhibit that qualities. So I’m dropping this after making it this far. But still, thank you for the first few episodes that made me laugh so hard…

I never thought I could skip scenes now. I barely finished the episode coz it keeps getting boring. I like the 100th-anniversary event scene tho. Other than that, there’s nothing worth watching. I think this drama is an embarassment to the wholesome reputation of korean dramas.

Kate Jul 22 2023 8:02 am To be prank, I am a little bored when it comes Gu Won and Sa Rang kissed together in the episode 8 or 9 (don’t exact remember) but still there is a moral lesson giving by the grandma of Sa Rang that before you build an own family, you should have an own house and savings because nowadays, couples build own family but they are spending money to rent instead of having an own house. And, despite of encountering boredom in other episode still I love the main characters “Gu Won & Sa Rang”. Hoping that episode would be uploaded soon ??? Thank you so much!!!

If not for Junho and Yoona, don't think i can continue watching this.

No deep talk for building the connection, just one or two usual dialogues, came from completely different background and character, then they could fall that hard for each other with only few eps? Hhhmm. Thus, dragging the recent episodes with vacation/date scenes with no character development. It would be better if they could develop the story first rather than seems fast pace in the beginning then dragging in the middle.

Not to mention on the Arab prince portrayal. Just a big no

I know he's a good actor from his previous dramas and movies, but it doesn't show here. Also, for me, the story is too much. I don't mind with kissing scene as long as the story line is good. So this is my first time thinking to stop watching Junho's drama. So sad..

Ik he didn't want to be the Heir of the company but he made a decision not too long ago in the episodes and he still isn't shown as someone that takes proper measures to back up his decisions. The romance is wayyyy too much. Like the first kiss was amazing, but ep 10 was extra lol... I want to see more comedy and ML doing something to grow as a leader + FL helping him.

The arab portrayal was disappointing as well.... 3/5 Stars for the overall show so far.

He looked like a clingy obsessed boyfriend and not a competent head manager. This drama has no sense anymore. But I love the trio. Their acting was so natural, funny, and convincing. Tbh, the side story of the flight attendant couple was much better than the main leads.

This drama is an amazing one! The story is about Sa Rang and Gu Won love story, you don’t expect them to shift from the actual story

We are curious about his mother. We want to see some work place politics, his managerial competencies and how he will protect the employees (not only Sarang and her friends) and get some revenge for his mother. We love Jun ho but we are desperate to love Gu won, as Head Manager. Thank you ?

I was a bit irritated at him giving Sa rang and her friends a week long vacation, because he wants to be with her?? He doesn’t make any CEO actions or decisions, and also very impulsive. He is literally just lazying off in his vacation, while the other woman works. And they will definitely give him the hotel at the end of the series.

I had my hopes up because It was so over hyped and for what, terrible script that sounds like it was written by chat gpt. Not even feeling the chemistry between the leads, they give me a brother/sister vibe. If anything, the flight assistant couple has way more chemistry.

He come to King Hotel because someone sent him a file about her late mother. He intend to leave after know the truth about his mother's death. But after meet sarang and learn about his employees struggle under his noona's leadership, he slowly want to protect the employees esp Sarang.

King Jul 13 2023 3:51 am The drama is good esp becoz its junho and yoona but my one comment is that of all thr dramas with CEOs or bosses, junho’s character is the weakest. Its basically nepotism. He doesnt show thr least interest in running thr company. He used comp expense for a helecopter then when he is in his ofc all he does is think of yoona and do NOTHING. Even the promo video he was not cooperative. No help at all. He even graduated in europe but he doesnt put it to good use. I hope he will show that he is a competent leader to make him more desirable as a ML.

And seems like some ppl are too sensitive, I am from Russia and I have seen my people being represented as evil, dumb grumpy villains all the time in movies and dramas and never took it to heart and laughed it off on the portrayal. The purpose of Samir in the drama was just to induce jealousy of the ML and give us sth to laugh about on their bicker. It was very fun to watch and I liked his character. Why ya’ll have to be so serious and negative???

Yes, I don't really care for the mary-sue moments where this normal girl gets to have every single good break happen (from interviewing the ML to rising to the top and now being the fling for a prince?) It was grounded a bit at first, where her career seemed pretty normal but there just seems to be a lot of fantasy fulfillment with this recent prince arc...

But beyond that, the quirky humor is rather fun. Chemistry of the actors is good, I Love the ML. Frankly, the better parts of the show have been Gu Won vs his sister and when the main relationship is a bit more semi normal.

I am just perplexed on the helicopter rescue scene, why is it that the scene in the hotel outside Junho's office is daytime as well as when he boarded the chopper but on Yoona's area, it is already dark considering that they are both still under the same time zones? ah.. maybe she just went in the shady dark forest. Anyways, happy to watch Junho again after the Red Sleeves followed by binge-watching all of his past shows.

Copter pilot said turbulence bad and had to leave —— most copter crashes occur at a low altitude, relatively speaking, on a mountain area due to wind shear effect!

The goofy part was showing up in a suit with no emergency gear!

I hope there won't be a cliche breakup between the leads though... I want them to stick together and communicate things. It would be great if that's the case because it shows that a relationship is not so fragile. One of the best dramas that did not have a breakup is Hate to love you. I loved that drama bc the leads communicated... I hope that's the case for this one!

The ML is just a rich kid who thinks they can do everything when in reality, he have no brain. Some fans might argue that it's a cute and funny romantic scene, but it's clearly illogical.

One of the worst MCs compared to similar dramas like Business Proposal and What's Wrong With Secretary Kim.

It's a shame that someone as competent as Sa-Rang has to end up with an immature partner like Guwon.

Bai Laohu Jul 03 2023 2:34 pm I am only watching this show because I love Junho and loved all his previous kdramas and movies. But I find King the Land incredibly boring. It's a struggle to watch each episode without dropping off to sleep in the middle. Predictable plots, scenes which are supposed to be funny are not funny. Lead female character is dull and uninteresting ( not the actress' fault, she is only acting out the role she is given - but overall a dull and lackluster performance). After such excellent shows like Good Manager and Red Sleeve, this show is very disappointing. I hope Junho chooses better kdramas/movies to act in next time.

Abena Jul 02 2023 11:25 pm I love the chemistry between Yoona and Joon Ho. Also the supporting cast are acting like rent it do, you hear me!! They make all the other story lines worth while, I love the mc's friends especially. I will say that the story line with a female mc and a male chaebol kinda takes away from the romcom feel because in my head I'm like he's going to be responsible for all her work problems just to swoop in and 'solve it' because he can't bear to see her suffer (mountain story arc is a clear example). I already foresee her having to quit or getting fired or even getting blackmailed because of him. Like fr she just wants to work her dream job and earn a living and he's going to make that very difficult (for plot, I guess). I love Sun Young though she's serving very much smart, cunning and lethal villain and I'm here for it.

However, these couple act so naturally that I can’t get enough of them. No dull moments. I also love the trio. I love the professionalism, commitment and dedication they show towards work. And how they’re having fun occasionally. Amazing friendship. This drama keeps getting better and better. Hoping more people could appreciate it.

Its so interesting before show started many people were whipped for it because of dreamy rich guy poor girl angle including me but once it began i could not even remember who is rich and poor, all i just end up watching is the comedic relief, at times i dont even remember guwon is a chaebol i just end up thinking of him as some sulky guy she met somewhere.

I like Lee Joon Ho as male lead but not so much fan of Yoona though she’s ok. I felt like there’s other female actresses that suited more for the role like Jung So Min came to my mind.

But it is what it is might as well enjoy it.

What made me just flipped over is at the end of the  5 th episode I heard a familiar sweet voice of my favorite singer Gaho singing—- —quickly googles it -  , found out it is called —— Yellow light——  love it love it love it .  .
I have been his big fan,  since I heard him for the first time , his  most incredible song  —Beginning —— , in  Itaewon class .
Ost of dramas are very much a big part of their charm  for me , of course itawoen class had one of the the best ost ever .

Junho and yoona both said this drama is funny and light. If you expect to get some slow burn melodrama, rethinking watch this. If your cup of tea is thriller with plot twist here and there, then this drama gonna be in your blacklist.

Personally, I think this drama is the epitome of romantic comedy, a drama that tickles your tummy, make you smiling alone in your bedroom... this is it. Yoona and junho have great chemistry. The comedy is fun! Especially eps 4 when guwon slowly transformed from a cold refrigerator man into a silly boy who fall in love. If you wanna feel the classic kdrama 2010-2015 feels, then give this a try. You won't regret it. Hermeees?

Watch the third episode and you see so many sides and emotions of Gu Won. I’m not as familiar with YoonA, but she has been delightful. She makes me understand the motivations and emotions of Cheon Sa Rang. As far as chemistry, have you seen Junho’s and YoonA’s Allure photo shoot? Holy smokes, it’s hot. Makes me anticipate what Gu Won and Cheon Sa Rang will be like, when both develop and acknowledge their feelings for each other.

It really heals my stress, i lol and giggle throughout the film. Despite the typical romcom storyline, but i really enjoy this drama. The cinematography is 10 out of 10! so beautiful and comical. No one could convince me otherwise

I'm usually a big fans of heavy dramas (I love thriller, mystery, politics genre), so I kind of surprise that I like King the Land so much haha I guess I fell in love with the great acting from both leads and love the funny and sweet scenes here. I checked the rating and turns out it keeps increasing every episodes (and consider gets high rating because it airs on tv cable). It proves that this drama successfully charm everyone. Well done for production team and all actors!

Actors are good looking but it’s a poorly written story lacking creativity (apart from the parachute landing which was a little funny.. just a little). It had a lot of potential but they messed the story up.. kdrama is generally cheesy but…This. Ain’t. It! I had such high hopes. Cheon Sa-Rang’s prejudices against Gu Won were made unnecessarily excessive..

I can't tell if it's their acting or the way the characters are written, but the main leads seem really one dimensional so I'm getting zero chemistry between them. It just seems like they look nice together because they're both good looking people so it appears they have good chemistry. And I know K-dramas are known to be cliche, especially rom-coms, and I can handle them to a certain degree but I wouldn't even have this playing in the background while I do chores lol

Same with the conflict scenes between Gu Won and his sister/father. I’m just wondering how they gonna make the fun times last for 16 episodes at consistent pace considering how fast they’re blowing through all the standard romcom tropes before we’ve even hit the halfway point.

all in all i'm quite fond of this drama. for now. i've skipped many unnecessary scenes ofc but i'll be waiting for the next episodes...

ddy Jun 22 2023 12:07 pm This is the first drama that I get to watch with my mom together. I really want to share many happy things with my mom, especially enjoying a drama together. For us, the first episode is more like the introduction of the characters. Tbh, I laughed most of the time (for ep 1) because of sangsik, he’s naturally funny for me. I can see he will be guwon’s kind of best friend until the last episode, just like sarang with the girls “happy 3 friends”. As for ep 2? I love it to the point I rewatched it 2 times. I can see the character development and the background of the story (like why guwon doesnt love fake smile and the way they showed sarang’s story with her mom). I also love that this episode 2 has many new beautiful ost, especially for the last scene, Guwon’s forehead entrance!!

Sometimes, I feel like my life is so full of “working”. This drama can make me happy and get motivated to enjoy weekdays while waiting for weekend. Cant wait for what’s coming in the next episodes!

I came into the drama with reservations because the earlier teasers didn't catch me and the latter ones didn't give me enough story to decide whether I would enjoy it or not. But I'm happy to report that it's delightful. If you're looking to relax and laugh while watching beautiful people fall in love in beautiful settings, this is the show for you. If not, I get why you wouldn't like it. I definitely like it better than SYIM19L though, since other people mentioned that one. The idea of an immortal being developing a crush on an 8 year old kinda creeps me out. ?

But I digress. If you're looking for pretty, light-hearted fun, I would give KTL a try. 20 mins in and you'll probably be hooked.

JOB24 Jun 22 2023 8:12 am I watched the 1st episode. There is no plot here, just cliche story. They made such a big deal on the chemistry but I can't see this. I think the chemistry is better in The Red Sleeve. The actress is better and she was able to make Junho look good. They were capitalising on that dance between Yoona and Junho then tried to make a story to fit around them. To be honest, I can't see what some people see in Yoona. To compare, I would say, she looks a bit like IU but IU she is not. IU is pretty and there is something about her. The other person that I would compare her with is Crystal Jung but I like Crystal, she is sassy and Yoona is not. Between the three girls in King Land, her friends are actually much prettier. So that's why, I cannot understand what has driven the producers to select these two. See You in My 19th Life is way more interesting. The lead actress is always a pleasure to watch.

King and queens Jun 20 2023 5:13 pm I really loved that chemistry between sarang and no sang sik, they are practically now brother and sister, their airport scene when they abandon gu won for that hat guy was really good. The humor of this show is simple and enjoyable. His sister is very annoying, like 2 episodes and so far she has just 2 lines that she repeats like a broken record,'stay in your turf you will be okay', 'go back forever' , it is comical how she constsntly repeats same lines now. Give more on their issues or just focus on main and nice characters. So sa rang currently has bf, so they will break up in future? Or has she broken up because at the end scene of ep 2 she gets stunned seeing guwon so i was confused is she getting attracted while in a relationship or she is single.

Also if i am not wrong like every chaebol drama, gu won is likely an illegitimate son who is legally registered as his step mom's son,i could be wrong though.

My problem here is excessive filters used on junho's face i mean he is looking unnaturally white. 3 female friends scenes is a very common trope seen in many dramas and also their convos are kind of boring and seen before so those parts are boring.

Other than that show is very good and this is why 2nd ep had higher ratings than 19th life. Both shows are good btw.

It doesn't entirely feel like rom com, seems like a chaebol struggle. More curious who is his mom where is she and why elder sis is so rude to him when she was so nice to cheon sa rang.

What i genuinely hated was gym sweat cleaning part because if this is how gyms and hotels clean then they are spreading germs. She uses a thin cloth rubs the seat then uses same rag to rub over entire machine, this is like spreading more germs.

I seriously don't understand the strong critiism though i don't have a problem with it to each their own, but much of it seems misleading. It doesn't look like an entirely easy and romcom show the inheritance battle will get messy,seems like show isn't that light hearted.

When parachute lands on hotel rooftop it kinda made no sense and felt annoying but later it turned out funny when he tells his coworker because that was joke on him being a parachuter who landed in the company due to his connections and then parachute scene made sense.

I understand the plot is cliché, but most romcoms are to be honest. And that doesn't really bother me. Usually, when I want to watch a romcom, I am looking for something light, sweet and funny and I think King the Land will be just that.

And you all don't need to worry about it being a bad choice for their carreers or not. Yoona and Junho said they were looking for this kind of roles after their last ones being really sad and stressful. And they seemed to be pretty satisfied and happy with what they filmed.

The end of the first episode perfectly summarizes this new offering from JTBC. The King of the Land was so poorly written that you would not think its male lead, Lee Jun-ho, played a king so well in his previous drama, The Red Sleeve, he won the Best Actor Award beating Squid Game's Lee Jun-jae and D.P.'s Jung Hae-in. The plot was so shallow that it might have just brought back the quality of Korean Dramas back to time when kings ruled Korea.

The only "King" in this drama were the visuals of the leads. Lee Jun-ho exudes masculinity and suave. Also, while watching Im Yoon-ah you could not help yourself but smile even without saying Hermés.

I know this is just the first episode that's why I am hoping that the next episodes would improve and not waste the talents of these two amazing actors.
