In “Nice Guy”, she was great acting as the sister of the leading actor who suffered brain injury after an accident. I felt sad. Cried. Growing up with her kind hearted brother who sets aside his own problems to care for his sister, she fooled the viewers into believe it’s in true life by her great acting skills.

Another of her unique gifts is her ability to use even the smallest facial expressions to captivate viewers, whether or not she has any lines. It can sometimes steal scenes, but more often it results in making her character more interesting.

I dearly hope for more drama lead roles to come her way. Especially something of the supernatural genre.

I think you're beautiful even in men's attire. You're prettyI was disappointed that you did not get best couple award wih lee junki. He got an award with IU in Scarlet Heart and Iu can't even act. I love your acting in Scholar who wlks the night. There is something exciting about you I was disappointed too that Junki got a couple award with shah Minah, in Arang, I didn't like her either. I am a Filipino who lives in Canada and I love Korean drama more than Philippine drama. My 2 nieces , one from Philippines and one from Las Vegas went to North Kora for a visit to meet korean actores. They told me tht koren actors are freindlier than Filipino actors. At least they got satisfied when they went to South Korea, their money was not wasted. I am a retired psychiatic nurse and I enjoy watching Korean dramas especially my crush Lee Junki. I sent hi several emails but he never responded not even once. I wish you all the best and hope that there will be more drama that you will do. Take care. She made me fall in love with the character... get upset with the character... want to reach into the world of TSWWAN to protect the character... etc... It was like I was reading a favourite book; and my mind had cast all the characters perfectly... I was part of that world... witnessing it unfold.

To Lee Yoo-Bi and the entire cast and production crew, I wish I could thank you all personally for the gift you have given us.

Melissa Oct 01 2015 10:17 pm I somewhat agree with Yuna - her part in SWWTN doesn't seem to be very important - though I blame the drama's slow pace for that. She shone on Pinocchio as a supporting lead. It was NOT the writing, but it was her own interpretation on the character that made it fun to watch. She wasn't acting overly cute in a 'sick' aegyo but in an entertaining way. Seeing her angst acting in Gu Family Book and her cute/weird act in Pinocchio I believe with all my heart she HAS what it takes. It's just that she needs a good role to channel her skill to.

Sami Sep 01 2015 9:17 pm I really like Lee Yu Bi as an actress. She's very funny and cute on and off-screen. In my opinion, she matches well with Lee Joon-Gi. I feel that a lot of SWWTN fans continue to say they don't match because as the series go on, her character continues to have little development and the writer continues to place her as the damsel in distress. I'm hoping that she receives another opportunity to be lead again and that what some viewers say is not hindering that chance. All in all, she's an awesome actress with great potential! I hope she has more lead roles in the future! Oh! And I hope that after SWWTN is over, she will feature in Running Man.

Pie Aug 15 2015 9:25 pm I dont know why, but i unwittingly saw all drama and movie which Yoo Bi acted. and i also love all of her character. she is so beautiful-bright beauty, bright smile, she is so fond and talent. have u ever heard she sang? search her live singing performance with "let it go" song, her english skill is also very good. I love her. about "Scholar who walks the night", i think she is the best actor for "Yang seon" character. Her big eyes, fond smile are really suitable for this role. Her acting skill is not too amazing like Lee Joon Gi, but if we compare with Kim So eun, i think she is maybe better or equal with So Eun - just personal perspective. ^^ from a Viet fan with love for you, Lee Yoo-Bi.

Livia Aug 12 2015 5:16 pm I've also seen Gu and seen Pincocchio and I can't recall her in those dramas, sorry about it. It is maybe because I did not like those particulary and seen them just ones (among many other dramas).

But here she is damn good, she is one of the cutes, sweetest actress I ever seen. She cleary stands out and pull the drama with her acting together with male lead. I do not know what is wrong (for others) with her acting here. She and the lead actor are just so good together that they gave life to an average story and made it one of the most beautiful, heart warming love story I've seen. I am deeply greatful to both of them for giving me such sweet times while watching their dramas and a bit hurted - seeing how others critise this little cute, talented actress. She is GREAT. And hope she never read back comments here. :-(

Shawn Sep 30 2012 3:50 pm I agree with mimi_shimaru as well, IMO she's twice the actress Suzi is. She actually shows depth and versatility in her character, while Suzy seems to play the same robotic character in everything I've seen.

I was very surprise at her talent after finding out she's only been in a few shows. She's either very talented, or was well trained before debuting!

I think Lee Yoo-Bi has a promising future in acting! even though most people want to cast the no talent model types most of the time.

Aynur Sep 15 2012 12:09 am I don't like her acting in "Nice Guy". She doesn't act natural. I have watched so many korean dramas. I can feel it when she calls "Oppa". When she calls "Oppa" it feels like she calls not her brother, but the man she likes and admires. Maybe it is because in real life she is Song Joong Ki fan. This is only my opinion. Maybe I'm false. But this is the sincere feelings I have when I watch her acting. But she is beautiful and young. I didn't write this to discourage her. I hope she can improve her acting skills in a few years.Wish success!
