Yu-Mi (Kim Go-Eun) is an ordinary single working woman. She is not good at expressing her feelings. Through her romantic relationship and work, she grows as a person and finds happiness in her daily life. Yu-Mi has cells in her brain that represent different emotions like love, violence, rationality, good, and bad. These tiny cells in her brain work actively for her. They deal with her emotions and troubles.

Some people say cartoon part is boring...i totally dont understand them, the cartoon part is what makes this show and story so unique. The way cells portray all the emotions is so relatable that I cant help but smile throughout each episode. Cant wait for season 3! fighting to all the creators and cast! Kim Go Eun, you are amazing as always! love both on screen relationships too, sending lots of love!

I love the cells so so much, they make me feel so relatable and they are SO FunnyyyyY. really love the shift from animation to the live-actuon, it makes the show more interesting to watch. And The Main Leadsss, I Love Them So Much. ABH and KGE have so much chemistry, i cant believe i wont see them ever again :(( never knew i needed this couple bc i felt that they didnt match from the poster but man their chemistry is already amazing from the first moment they meet. Such an amazing slice of life drama that I ponder over each episode. I think this drama is my favorite drama of all time now!

I wonder who will they cast for shin soonrok role. I have Jung Haein in mind. I know that Soonrok is 3 yrs younger than Yumi, but Haein passes for the look and the vibe. Also, because his chemisty with Goeun in their last project, Tune in for Love, is amazing. I hope they cast Haein and he also accepts the role.

The cells did a perfect job portraying what Yumi was thinking...I especially liked fashion, chore cell and the reaction robot?. I dont know why some people are giving a bad rating just based on the show's ending which was not surprising by the way. There is a season 2 people!!!! I thought it was a creative piece and its amazing how much content they came up with just based on everyday mundane living. Also, if someone is not a fan of the cells then best not to watch because they are what makes it Yumi's cells...duh!

The cells are so cuuute, esp the hunger cell. I love the storyline and its so relate with what happens in real life. But whyyyy the ending whyyy, so frustated with the ending :( how about the Yumi's marriage photo, who's thaaat, and whyyy Woong never tells Yumi how does he feel, and Yumi's pride is the way too high for tell Woong what's exactly on her mind, in a relationship, shouldn't communication comes first, they can find the best solution together, so frustated and heartbreaking they broke up when they still loving each other

That burnout situation when histeria come, that happiness when dopamine come as a singer, that digestive emergency announcement, and countless situation that is unexpecte. I always looking forward to the next episode because I am curious who is the next cell that is described and what kind of situation will yumi facing, sometimes i learn a lot how to handle the situation thanks to woong algorithm. But one things I can't understand is that priority rank. If yumi is woong number one, he should have ignore his pride for yumi, right? But i don't think it shown in the last episode? anyway looking forward for season 2!!

I never liked Yumi with Babi but I was kinda swayed towards the end during the Babi's Epilogue episode. I think I'd like him more had he died there because while it's obvious he's not the one since day 1, he's as flawless as boyfriend could be.

This drama managed to cast the perfect Ruby who managed to change my mind about the character, I wish they can cast the perfect Daeun so I could hate her less.

But still, in the end, you would ship her with the others, because the writer is genius and lead us to love them all. Must confess, in the end, there's no one more cute, handsome and perfect for yumi then her husband. So pray the rating will go up so that there will be a third season and you will see for yourself.

I wasn't disappointed in her and Woong's breakup because, in a way, it was a healing time for both of them that went as far as it could. Now both can develop from here with others into more mature and supportive relationships. My only regret is that, since this is about Yumi, I won't see Woong's future. I grew to like this character, so well played by Ahn Bo-Hyun, that I want to see and know more of him. Thank you to all involved in this production and to the original webtoon creator.

Excellent production and casting for this drama. I wouldn't have watched it, had I read the webtoon first so with that said this review is also based on what I've read with the webtoon so far.

Kinda hate that they kept blaming Yumi's toxic insecurity on her past relationship. Yumi has nooo confidence. I mean she is textbook low self-esteem and she has no self-awareness. Yumi wasn't just insecure about Wung, she was insecure about EVERYTHING, except food.

She and Wung are polar opposites. He's confident, self-aware, and knows what he wants. Wung lives from the inside out (lets the way he feels determine how he interacts with/responds to the world). Yumi lives outside-in... everything has to be perfect on the outside (in her life) for her to feel good inside/be happy. No relationship will work for long when both party's life philosophies are soooo different and at least one of them lacks self-awareness.

Well... this drama should be called "People Come Into Your Life For A Reason, A Season or A Lifetime", then leave us to watch and see which one Wung will be - a reason, a season, or a lifetime ^^.

It's a fun, fun watch. You will love the cells. Just don't fall in love with Yumi and Wung as a couple.

this is really my cup of tea genre of kdrama, its so fun and enjoyable to watch after working late and superrr tired (the only way to escape from reality) cuz it's light and fun to watch. The real-life adaptation of kdrama of inside out disney movie <3 i love that movie and ofc i love this drama too.

There is not only you in this world, your cells are here too!!! Reminds me of every day is worth living. The animation and the storyline are so cute and funny!! The chemistry between the leads is so good! Go eun is the perfect fit for this role!! I miss her acting in drama like this, like goblin she is cute and heartwarming <3 Wow i never thought I fell in love with ahn bo hyun bcuz i hated him in itaewon class, he nailed this nerdy but manly and handsome IT game developer guy.

The way alot of idol actors are in this, is cool! Ruby is annoying at first and progressively I understand there must be someone like her in real life ahaha her acting is so cute, funny, and sometimes annoying at the same time. Jinyoung and minho waaahhh they really dont look like idol! I really curious who gonna be the next partner in yumis cells s2 hmmmm The voice actors of the cells did an amazing job too!! The webtoon writer wahh good job!!

Finally, I really recommend this drama if you want a light, romantic comedy, and slice of life drama. I like reply 1988, this is my first life, youth of may, be melodramatic and many more. So if you like the dramas I have mentioned earlier go watch this!! it's not gonna disappoint you. Cant wait for s2

Inside Out was released on August 2015. So no, it's not based on Inside Out. - Drama aired at late night, and it's promoted as TVING original so most viewers use the apps to watch. After this drama airs, Yumi's Cell merchandise sold out and they always topped the Naver TVCast. So it's really well received.

The cell's world is the comedy part, the funny part and the concept is fresh. if you want to watch romcom with typical kdrama plot, go watch other dramas. I think we have one for this month's period, light romcom drama with typical kdrama vibe.

Obviously, this series was inspired by the 2015 Disney movie, Inside Out. But while the cartoon characters of flooding emotions is so relatable in that movie, given that the main character is a child, in this drama, it’s not, and out of place. More so since the genre is romance. And I guess that’s what made this drama dip at the ratings (peak ratings at 2.6).

I love the Webtoon but I love the drama more. The director, writers, actors and voice actors make it so much more alive and interesting. I fell in love with the actors chemistry and I really love the cell's voices. The animation format makes it light but the story itself is actually very related to our life.

How I wish this drama will have 1000 episodes so I can keep watching it for decades just like a comic book. Anyway, I declare this drama as my first ever favorite drama ❤️

Babi is great bf hes very supporting, but hes the least interesting and have least chemistry. Son rook is great, very realistic, great chemistry in manhwa not as strong as woong but acceptable. I wish woong ended up with yumi bc of their chemistry. But i hope they find a perfect son rook and beats woomi chemistry. Bc if its not, its goin to be hard for us to move on. Its home work for the crew now.

My Love Cell Is In Coma Oct 14 2021 1:13 pm I love how they don't stick scenes-by-scenes in webtoon yet still maintain the same storyline and characters. I actually spent coins to re-read some chapters again even if I've religiously followed this webtoon for 5+ years. It's just soo good. And I realized the drama bring something different yet familiar. The actors are really good at portraying all the different emotions and they all seems to be fond of the webtoon, which makes all their actions genuine, and everything looks bright on screen. I also love ALL the soundtracks. This is one healing drama perfect to ease your tiring day.

I liked the first few episodes but i wasn't into the cartoon characters that much; nevertheless, i have already watched until the recent episode & I've become fond of the cells now especially because those scenes with the cells make it more humorous. Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Yung definitely have great chemistry but I don't mind if she will end up with Jinyoung hehe

I especially love their relationship and how realistic everything they go through is, and how insightful and brilliant the adorable and funny cells are. I love how the leads got together early on in the show and it's still keeping my attention even though they're already together - most dramas are about all the nonsense that happens before the leads get together and then they finally get together in the end, and once that happens they usually don't keep my attention the last few episodes. This show is totallyyy different

If im not mistaken (keep in mind i read this 5 years ago), from the webtoon they wont break up yet. Sea yi or sia in webtoon, just a device for characters development, yumi and woong. thats why the judge in yumis village give the love cells the break up card, to remind love cells that yumis is number one! And not sacrifice herself. Yumi has to learn to love herself first and woong has learn bounderies. If im not mistaken they will broke up because they will extremrely busy with their works. Woongs company is such a success, so he is busy all the time and yumi start her career as a writer, so she has to save and cuts dates expenses. Woong is my favorite arc out of yumis men. And bo hyun did wonderful as woong, even in webtoon i still rooting for woong. So i hope it will be diffrent ending where they will be together. I have hopes because again if im not mistaken in the webtoon the wedding chapter, woong is not even coming to the wedding. And there are no hope for woong to have desire to marry yet in the drama he is coming to the wedding and even so understanding after yumi told lies about their wedding also his desire to marry is trying to back to surface. But at the end yumis happiness is the most important thing.

The author always overshadowed something but very very vague but maybe its clear? Idk!. The yumis librarian said that woong is yumis boyfriend at that time. But when the baby cells ask what happens, the yumi librarian said they have to read the 33rd encyclopedia wich is a year after. I assume thats when yumis married right? Or maybe something will occur? Because in webtoon seems like when yumis met son rook its about 3 to 5 years after she met woong (yumi has a long hair, and she became a succesful writer wich cannot happen in a year right?!) I never read the webtoon (didnt know about it too) and since i dont mind spoilers at all i tried to find comments with them because i was curious with whats going to happen next sdjfhjdshfsjd and now i'm sad, help, i dont want her to breakup with Woong :(( When I started watching i saw wrong the number of episodes and read 7 for some reason haha and then in the middle of my "series session" i read again and saw 14 episodes. After that, one part of me thought that maybe Yumi and Woong would breakup because there's still a lot of episodes left but i didnt want to believe in that. After the spoilers i have no longer much hope. If the 2 season is really happening as i read in some other comments then the probability for her to end up again in Woong is not high, but who knows :(( I just love his character, i want to see him in all episodes :(( literaly everyone loves this character more from what i'm seeing sdjshfjhfdsj I'M SAD OK!!

Kim Go Eun is really a good actor her reflective portrayal & facial movement is very effective on the movement of the animation part . It’s like digging to her mind How & Why she acts the way she is .. It’s the first time that I really reflect on myself the innermost compartment of my cell why sometimes I deal differently in a given situation . I know that the comic is very realistic but as a reader and now as a viewer i want to escape reality and have yumi ended up with woong hehehe. Bcoz in the comic the last guy has very little story not like woongs. So for me i am more attracted with woong instead of the 2nd guy who by the way has no chemist with yumi, and the last guy whom i like but not as much as woong. I know at the end its yumis choice, either way im going to enjoy the drama. #teamwoong

From all yumis men my fav is woong, and in this drama bo hyun makes me love woong even more! Its going to be very very hard for me (and probably you guys too) to let go of woong. Esp go eun and bo hyun has a strong chemistry. The crew has to find a great actor to play son rook, he needs to have a very strong chemistry with go eun. Because if its not i believe they are going to be a riot lol. But seriously great job cast and crew, and the animation too you guys did an amazing job, well done.

It's not really new and fresh concept (because I've seen Disney's Inside Out) but in more details and interpreted in the drama very well. How cute all the cells working together and organized in her body just like people working in a company. Taught me how to love myself even more because our cells in our body loves us very much actually. A fun yet meaningful and relate drama not a mediocre love story. And the chemistry between the two lead role is amazing. Never thought pairing bo-hyun oppa and go-eun eonni would be this great! It's just episode 4 but I fell for this drama already❤️ GENIUS.

The lead actress is so good in terms of acting. I am so happy with the cells and execution. Try it yourself. The cells are not childish, rather they are representing human nature, reaction ,self love. All the the male lead characters are important as it shows different personalities. Its a story about growth of a woman and how her brain cells are supporting her through out the journey . You need this drama to laugh and cry.. .A Must Try

The Director of this drama is commendable the interfacing from animation to live is executed smoothly without interference and obstruction.

I even saw/imagine myself portraying the character when there would be a drama. but I think Goeun ssi is perfect for it. I wondered who could be Woong but I gues Bohyun ssi is fine for it. But it's really Babi and Soonrook I'm really looking forward the most. I think Jinyoung is perfect for the role. I'm just so excited for this. It's just weird because I have a feeling that the drama wouldn't really rely on the webtoon. I kinda feel like Yumi would end up with Woong but I just hope not. Cause I prefer the other 2 guys. Well, Soonrok is the best of course.
