jennieannie May 29 2022 2:35 pm Just finished Ghost Doctor. It was so much more than I expected! Han Seung-Hyun’s acting was one of the reasons. His portrayal of the comatose baker husband/father/friend was full of warmth and sincerity. Thank you, sir.

Seung ji Sep 23 2021 1:02 pm He was absolutely tremendous in Haechi. In a historical drama especially, when the actors can play off each other as well as in this relationship between Crown Prince’s/Kings….you feel like you are really there and involved and invested in what is happening. Jung II Woo and Han play off against each other perfectly. Would like to see them in a like kind of situation again. The character that Han play’s, Prine Yun and then King Gyeongjong, I actually for the first time could really feel what its like to be making those kinds of decisions that Kings make.

In some cases, another actor playing this character might have made us annoyed, irritated and maybe even hateful toward the wishy washy, fearful kind of character the King portrays….with Han you feel only compassion, one that makes your heart hurt for him.

I really was able to see how hard it must have been in those times especially, to truly know whether someone was your enemy or ally. Well done!
