Alice Jan 13 2026 11:59 pm Yuri is kind of underrated actress internationally but her drama is doing well in Korean market since her breakthrough main role in Bossam. I hope that international drama lover would notice her soon and she will keep getting good projects with wonderful co-star. I actually amaze of how diverse her roles in drama and film plus she even do theatre as well. That's speaks a lot about her passion in art.

I think Yuri has a combination of talent, and honed skills with her roles. She's taken on a variety and hasn't confined herself to certain Genres.

Some have talent and hone their skills.
Some have talent and constrain themselves to certain Genres.
Some aren't born with the talent and hone skills through their dif roles.
Some aren't born with the talent and stay stagnant from one role to the next.
Some are neither born with talent, nor hone their skills, essentially counting on their looks to see them through.

Glass Mar 20 2025 11:24 pm Yuri is by far the most versatile female idol actress imo. I love how she doesn’t chase popularity or big hit project but instead chooses ones that help expand her skill. Love seeing her try a different role every project her acting gets better with each role. Can’t wait to watch Somebody. Hope to see Yuri in a comedy film or another historical drama again.

Dramamama Apr 05 2024 12:31 pm Yuri showed she is capable of excellent work in Bossam. I was so shocked when I learned she wasn’t a restrained, quiet person like Princess Sookyung in Bossam! She is a natural at Variety, which is a real talent, and casting her in those programs is always smart. I wish, however, to see her again in a show like Bossam where she can stretch herself.

I saw Dolphin already. Yuri was very different in it (her character was stiff, stuck, and full of repressed anger). I think more chances to explore characters like this will help convince more people that she is an actress with great skills.

I would like her and Jung Ilwoo to do another program together, as they are a fantastic team.
