Don't get me wrong< I tend to love female actresses (my favorite Korean American-Canadian is the Queen--Grace Park, Battlestar Gallactica when I realized that in a flight suit not only was she the most beautiful of a load of gorgeous women, but was a terrific actress as well), or Zendaya, the young American actress who is on the top of the world at the moment with so many others, as just one of many examples) so for an actress to be my number 1 in KDrama is sayuing quite a bit, Sea, you managed to beat Bae Suzy by a scoosh and Kim Hye-Jun as very, very close 2 and 3 or 3 and 2, and again that is saying a LOT. (Han So Hee 4?). Not to mention a few others. I'm watching Snowdrop on Disney now, and Jisoo is great too, although the drama in that series is pretty over the top. Each of these actresses are great in great stories, but I won't detail the other 3, but highlight why I like this Sea Yea-Ji so much. I saw Its Okay to be not Okay and that series has so much going for it, including, let me be fair the male lead, and the remaining cast, but Sea's b*tchiness (man can she do b*tchy in the most attractive way) her portrayal of a troubled but brilliant children's book writer, and her pursuit of the lead was,. among the whole concept of mental illness as was respectfully portrayed (doctor stay, your role was as one of the most effective best shrinks I've seen in fiim) simply outstanding. I'm an old man, but I think I have somewhat of a handle on females (as if, right?) and I said to myself, now this is a female that would be a challenge and fun, plus any "ants" that tried to take me were in immediate danger.(lol). In Lawless Lawyer some of the same festiness, easy ability to beguile a lead male character, but Sea is able to be herself, but be different, as the character calls for. And that voice! Asleep I would know it's her. So this is a mash note I know but I encourage this young phenom to keep acting, and can't wait for more. Keep it up Princess (have to be loyal to Grace -:). I love Asian movies a lot. For me they have more meaning and there is a lot to learn about culture and behaviour. The title attracted my attention. But once started looking at it I almost directly fel in love with al the actors. Such a strong cast, and deeper message to tell. Im told that Seo Ye ji is a shy person. But I think she has strong dark site too. The way she dresses and acts, I love it all. She is beautiful and I love her moodswings, one time harsh, jealous and loudout shouting, the other moment exposing a very voulnarable and little child.
