In QSD he was the most annoying character with his crazy faces and laughing but that was perfect acting. Now I’m also rewatching EK (5th time) and realized what a superb actor he really is. He aced it in EK and was so sexy and even though a “baddie” again I loved him in it. I’m just stunned he’s the same actor and I only just noticed it. Kudos. He's a great actor all in all and I mean no disrespect at all, that shocked face just gets me every damn time. Iris Zi May 23 2024 3:08 am He is indeed very hot as Dang Gise in empress Ki, and he's an amazing actor. He played his role so well, that sometimes you despise his character and sometimes you feel sorry for him, and sometimes you actually admire him. I disagree with other comments that his character is a bad guy. Nobody in that series is truly a good guy, all of them are morally grey, all of them want power, and they all don't mind innocent people to suffer in the process of achieving a goal, that includes Wang Yu and Yang. On the other hand, they all have some good qualities in them too. And Dang Gise is extremely loyal to his family, he genuinely loves his father, always seeking his approval, he feels protective over his brother and sister too.
