The backdrop in every scene was perfect, all actors were perfectly cast, the story, the writing could not have been better. The camera "loved" every character and every scene. Both of those shows pulled me into wanting to watch more Korean based shows because I felt that the quality and depth of the stories surpassed any I had seen here in the U.S. It was in Six Flying Dragons that I realized how incredible of an actor he is. I cant wait to see more of his body of work and i hope he continues on acting in future projects. Much like what an earlier comment by Barbara Taylor, his acting and the few shows I have seen so far have created a greater desire in me to research the incredible history of Korea. Your movies are excellent, but until Netflix offered a few of them, beginning with Mr. Sunshine, we in America had no idea what you had to offer. Not only Mr. Yo-Han, but all of the top 5 stars of the show are superb in both acting ability and charisma. For that matter, I think the entire huge cast was exceptional. So were the screen writers who kept this very lengthy mini-series suspenseful throughout the entire 18 episodes I've seen to date, yet also presented the story with artistry and such charm that I started looking for other South Korean movies. In fact, I am now researching South Korea itself - people, history, geography, culture and much more. Mr. Sunshine is the best tv series I have ever seen, and I look forward to much more from Korea - as long as it's subtitled, due to my inability to understand Korean.
