Its my first time seeing her in the Tale of Lady Ok and i can definitely say she's one of the most versatile actors i have seen so far considering most of my favorite actresses are already in their 40's and up (kim hye soo, doona, jun ji hyun) and i dare say they are on legendary level and are well respected in korea. I'm not really into overly cliche melodrama or romcom series usually led by young actors, early 20's to 30's, and i have seen myself dropping more and more kdramas often before i even get through halfway as i get bored easily, so i'm glad that i watched the tale of the lady ok as i not found a masterpiece but also a great actress. I feel like she wasn't given enough good projects as the main protagonist aside from the tale of lady ok and money heist. Despite her excellent acting skills, she was not well recognized yet, as her projects are limited and some of them doesn't have good reviews. I mean if you compare these 3 character she played you can say they all different from each other but yet Lim Ji Yeon played so nicely so we can't forget any of this and we believe she is the real character of each story. I can't imagine what is happening in that movie I was really impressed with her acting, she is really good actress and hope she will come back again doing dramas or movies. They were more interesting than the main couple. Then I watched Obsessed and The Treacherous and I was impressed by how open she is in taking those kind of roles. And then I saw her in Law of the Jungle and I'm surprised by how easygoing, brave and just overall awesome she is in real life. Its not just she is not good actor, it felt so weirds and why the director offer her a role if she is not good. It just i'd likes to see Song Ji Hyo, Lee Yoo Bi, Kong Su Hee and Seo Ye Ji but they are not a supporting role at all to be in villain role..
