I was in remorse knowing her so late. Very natural acting, photogenic to say the least. Very likeable if not lovable character. I hope she can get more challenging roles and attain a successful career! Chico Oct 27 2015 7:08 am I guess when you remake a Studio Ghibli film, people are going to be critical of you, but I thought the remake of Kiki's Delivery Service was great. Fuka played a perfect Kiki, and although the special effects weren't up to today's standards, it was a very enjoyable watch. GhibliFan Jan 06 2015 3:01 am I did not expect much when I came across this new movie - who could beat Ghibli's version? But I was wrong!! I absolutely loved it! Fuka Koshiba was exactly right for the role. The movie did not follow Ghibli's version (as most of us would expect!) but that was not any hindrance to my enjoyment either! The storyline was great - somebody said that it followed the manga more faithfully! I'm now trying to buy the DVD for future enjoyment and sharing!! So, no insult to Ghibli - I am still in awe of Ghibli's works!! But as a live action version of this story, I think that this movie stands on it's own two legs and I absolutely enjoyed it!!!
