I don't think anyone else could portray the character Gang jae better than you. You had the sadness in your eyes what the character needed the most. Sunsun Jan 09 2021 9:45 am I am watching him at Traveler now, normally i would just think it is a nice show and i wouldn't make any comments probably but i wanted to write something because it made me cry. The reason of crying is being at home for a really long time and i don't know when will it be safe to travel or explore a foreign country as in the show. I really missed to be outside without mask, i missed hot weather and warm wind, i missed live music, i missed to be tired because of walking all day and having sunburn. He looks like really enjoying these things and i realized how much i missed all these things. I think i am a little depressed. On the other hand to watch him wander aimlessly made me dream and think travelling plans for after pandemic. So i hope these days will end at some point we will start to enjoy olur lives again.

Miss Anthony Oct 17 2020 4:47 pm I can't believe I could love a Korean actor as much as I love Ryu Junyeol now. Despite my busy days, I was able to finish all his movies, travel shows and vlogs, dramas, even his interviews. He's really my happy pill everytime I feel down and exhausted.

Junyeol never did another drama after Lucky Romance and it makes me sad. I watched and loved all his movies, but I miss him portraying a character that I will watch 'til dawn.

It's been only a month since I finished Lucky Romance and I already miss Je Soo Ho. I miss Kim Junghwan all the time though I never stop rewatching Reply 1988. Haha

I hope they'll bless us with another RJY drama after his upcoming movie, Alien.

On that show, I discovered a lot about him and it really amazes me every time I think of it. I am still watching all of his projects and I love all of those that much. I hope he will make more and more projects (movies and Kdrama series) soon. A leader kind of man is what I want to have in my future man like him. I wasn't into Korean films before, but Junyeolie made me watch all his movies and sometimes, the movies of his co-stars as well.

I never liked watching Travel shows, but since I met him, I became a fan of travel documentaries and the likes. I watched and loved all his travel shows.

Ryu Junyeol has something that you can never see in other actors out there. He's not a typical Korean actor. He has his own charm and he even gets more charming and more attractive as time goes by.

It's not only his looks that I find really attractive but his personality as well. His advocacies in life are really admirable. Who wouldn't fall for a man who loves his family and friends, who values nature and who has faith in God?

He can't really be considered as an underrated actor (because I heard that he's really famous in Korea), but I believe he deserves more attention particularly overseas. I really hope and someday, more people from different parts of the world will finally recognize his talents and charm as an actor.

I like him first in his character in drama series Reply 1988 as serious but considerate and a loving son to his parents, as brother, as friend and as neighbour. I started to search and watch all his movies , videos and commercial. I never get tired of watching him., I started to like or love him I guess . He has this charm and aura that anyone can't resist especially when he smiles and has a manly voice that will capture your heart and attention. His personality is cool, vibrant and friendly that makes him more handsome aside from being athletic, religious, philanthropist and environmentalist. rn May 24 2019 5:23 am the first time i saw him in Reply88. and i'm really sure that i'm falling for him since the episode 3. he is not as handsome as Korean actors in general. but, he has his own charm. he's handsome in his own way. guaranteed, you'll never be bored to see him. as proof, I've never missed anything about him since watching Reply88. all the movies he has in it, have never been missing for me to watch. And that made me realize how great he was as an actor. He has played various roles, and all those roles live as they are. As Kim Junghwan As Je Suho As Jigong As Yang Ge As Il Hyun As Seo Min Jae As a shelf As Jae Ha As Kim Dong Myung As Gu Jae-Sik As Choi Doo Il As Dong Chul As Chul Hun As Ji Hoon He revives all those characters. Even for the smallest role. No wonder people call him as scene stealer. Not to mention his personality as a football fan and traveler. His lifestyle brought a lot of inspiration to me, including in determining the standard of my future husband hahahaha. In essence, Ryu Junyeol is a complete package of a young man with all his freedom, a man with all his responsibilities, and an actor with all his greatness and charisma. I'll support him till the very end of time. Love youuu

How twisted this was because sung duk seon was actually liking him at first place. But love is all about timing. Jung hwan always failed to be on the right timing and choi taek was always one step ahead of him. But still, i did hope that the next to duk seon in 2015, to be jung hwan..

The more I see him on his movies, the more I fall in love with him. To be honest, I was never fond of Korean actors although I watched a lot of K-dramas, until Ryu Jun Yeol stole my heart and soul on Reply 1988. He portrayed every characters in both his films and dramas very greatly and that explains why he starred in many high grossing films after Reply 1988 has ended. Moreover, he has been booked in three films for upcoming year 2018. Among Reply 1988 casts, I think his career skyrocketed most significantly compared to others.

For Taxi Driver which will be released on August 2017, he plays as Jae Shik, a student who is on his way to attend talent competition but end up got caught un Gwangju uprising. When I watched Lucky Romance, at first I was like: 'he's the lead actor?! omo. he wasn't handsome.', then I was like: 'I like his eyes', after that... I was like: 'Waaah!!! why is he sooooo adorable, and cute, and everything!!!' knowing that the supporting actor was sooo hella handsome, everytime he was with the lead actress I wish that Gwi (the supporting actor) would never ruin their moment. That's how I really honestly and seriously appreciate how they (the people who contributed to that drama) made me feel soooooo convinced that liking someone honestly depends not on the people's physical characteristic. You only got to like someone when little by little you get to know them and you somewhat like how they made you feel different when you're with them. Yeah, it's better to be turned off at first then later on find out their likeable side than to like them first without knowing who they really are. Sorry for being a girl who judged someone based on physical characteristics. I was once before but I'm no longer like that. Thanks!!!

But, what I really appreciate is...the impact is have different vibe. Tbh I watch Lucky Romance first and then Reply 1988. In Lucky Romance you can smile cheek to cheek, but not in Reply 1988. I recommend you all to watch Lucky Romance first, then Reply 1988. Cause R88 makes me weak and cannot move to another drama so fast. His acting, vibe, gaze, everything..make you probably would put him on the top. He is really different from his one drama to another one. 완전 대박!

By Western standards, he may not strike us as handsome, but as he starts to talk and move around, it's easy to fall in love with his good looks. He has a low,deep but soothing voice so when he softly talks to Hwang Jung Eum, it's like one is being caressed. His role as Soo Ho suits him well because this man is a sweet lover though he is cold and aloof to women at first. I hope he will appear in a romance drama again because he is a good actor. I won't forget how he laughs and tease Bo Niu. And of course, how he dresses up in the office with t-shirts and short pants.

Especially a few episode before Ending if reply 1988. It's hard for me because of some spoiler, i already knew that Taek will be the husband. So, i will act normally if Deoksun married with taek. But, but, i think when i dont know the ending , i will feel confused to pick #teamjunghwan or #teamtaek #l*poorme Altough i love both of Junghwan and Taek, Junghwan already make a mark in my heart. Especially the confession scene and episode 18, i'm crying so much. Whenever i think about how poor Junghwan after all things that he did for Deoksun, i will feel a heartbreak.
