This is the first K-Drama that I have seen her in, and I was truly impressed with her captivating acting ability, which in my 14 years of watching K-dramas, I have not found anyone as exquisite in her acting brilliance. And I believe she far superior to the actresses in Hollywood. Her mixture of modesty, confidence and commitment to her acting craft is astoundingly unwavering, which produced an outstanding performance to the viewers. Her ability to show the audiences her facial emotions move effortlessly from one status of feeling to another, was amazing. For example, she effortlessly expressed her emotions from euphonic situations to bleak depressive and traumatic status of mind over a natural period was genuine and elegantly perfect and convincing. As a country girl after she woke up from the facial operations, she demonstrated her ability to transform herself from an impeccably and bubbly sweet and wholesome person to a majestically magnificent and stylish young woman with unshakeable confidence, capable of standing strong in any situation. Her expressible essence is what truly captures our hearts.

With her commanding performance and marvelously and striking beautiful face, she should be considered a national treasure.

I look forward to seeing her in many more K-Dramas.

When I first got into K-pop, the first T-ara M/V that I saw was Lovey Dovey. She is at the very beginning and also at the end. It was then that I searched and found out it was Lim Soo Hyang. No problem finding out. Later I learned that ir isn't always that easy. Too bad.

VINCE Nov 03 2020 6:56 am I'm done with the latest Korean drama series of Lim Soo Hyang ( When I Was The Most Beautiful.) I'm digging with the old K drama of Lim Soo Hyang. Then I found this Lover's in bloom. It's long episode but willing to finish till end. I really like her acting and she is more versatile when it comes to comedy story line. I wish she will have more projects soon and hopefully tandem with Ji Chang- Wook some kind of Romcom Film or Series.

Some actresses are stereotyped and only do romantic dramas. You are good in being evil, cute, psycho, comedic and you do action dramas well too. An all rounder. Love your chemistry with Do Ji Han. You have great chemistry with all the male casts you worked together with but to me Do Ji Han fits very well with you. Miss all the casts of Lovers In Bloom. Everyone acted so well there. The production crew , I salute you for the hard work. Great daily drama and storyline is so different from other daily dramas which are normally makjang ones. You have been working hard. She was amazing in Five Enough... also great in Inspiring Generation and IRIS2.

She is now one of my favorite actresses and I am hoping for more light and romantic roles in the future. I don't want to see her in a villain role again, I just don't think I can stand hating her again. LOL

She can perform any type of role: elegant, innocent, cute, fierce, cold... Her role as Young Ja in tvN's short series "Great Stories" proved she could pull off accents and play a dirt-poor character as well. Not to mention she's just beautiful and her legs are gorgeous. <3

They worked so well together; so convincing. A lot of love, tears that only managed to pull one's heartstrings. It was a well rounded drama with a great cast of actors all around and the icing on top was that it had such a happy ending. Do Not Miss This Drama!!!!!!!!!!!!

Genesis Apr 29 2014 3:51 pm It's so crazy how you can watch one drama and not even recognize the person you are looking at....but, you keep having this feeling that you've seen the person in another drama somewhere. Well, I saw you in I Do, I Do and now most recently in Inspiring Generation as Gaya. Gaya was a character I loved to hate. I mean, when the character turned bad, and just had it in for poor Shin Jung Tae but couldn't manage to kill him....I was like come on girl kill him or love him pick one, because this merry-go-round is making me sick....lol.

Now that the drama has ended, I am interested in knowing what role you will take on next. I hope it something more sassy, playful and sweet. Inspiring Generation was really heavy, and I don't want to see you cutting up nobody, kicking nobody and most of all being cut up or beaten up yourself.

Then again, if you were to opt for something on the heavier side...I think a really good, suspense/who done it murder with you as the lead killer female type would be awesome. I have not seen a drama on television where the female is the killer....just saying.

That being said, best of luck to you in whatever role you take on next and in life.

The way they portray Aoki and Gaya made you felt their misery. Urgh, they should just have their own shows. I'm sure that's not how she is in real life. It's called acting. She's a great actress and I personally think she's gorgeous.

Nora Jan 21 2014 4:20 pm There're only a few actresses whom I cared enough to dislike. This actress is one of them. She's one reason why I dropped New Tales of Gaysang. I hated her character so much as the annoyingly quiet perfect girl on the surface while being b*tchy inside; all the ugly stuff she did to her so called friend which we were suppose to think of as fine cuz she's the lead actress. Gah and everyone in the show kept praising 'how beautiful she is' while I don't see her THAT pretty was a major turn off from the drama. I know the character is something while the actress is another thing...still I can't help it. Hopefully after watching her in Inspiring Generation, I'll think of her as better than a wanna be beauty queen.

BTW, I'm not a medical student or anything, but i do believe Lim Soo Hyang has had work done. Not bashing on the actress. I've got nothing against her and I've liked her roles. It just seems to me that she has.

shahou Jul 17 2012 9:22 pm I first really caught notice of her while watching New Tales of the Gisaeng and I cried my eyes out. I actually found out that she was in Paradise Ranch, it was no wonder I thought she looked familiar. She's such a good actress. In just those two drama, she plays dramatically different characters. I look forward to her new drama, I Do I Do and all future ones ^_^

I am surprised that she is not as popular as she should be with all her talents. Although it seems South Korea has an abundance of really talented people for the population size. I wish nothing but success and happiness for this very talented young woman
