I discovered you in Something in the Rain where you shone with Jung Hae In acting as the younger lover to an older woman. That was a vivid portrayal by both of you. Then I followed by watching CLOY along with the rest of the world. Brilliant drama followed by your marriage to your on screen lover. It seems too good to be true, like another drama! Oh - and I watched 39 just before the wedding.

I have just watched her in Something in the Rain, and I was blown away by her performance which was simply outstanding by any standards.

The whole of the series was sensitively produced and dealt with real life with amazing contribution by all of the actors

Very impressed by her performance and hope to see much more of such a beautiful talented women.

We, men, mean nothing without a woman who is strong willed and who is willing to hand over her life for the sake of her deep love towards her husband and her children. The photography, sound, and transitions are very well done. There is one character who made the movie perfect. Son le-jin made everything come together. Heart, soul and others emotions that only she can express so well. Thank you to all of the great actors and especially to my new favorite actress, Son le-jin.

She never fails to impress with her perfectly brilliant acting prowess. I'm actually kind of sad that it has taken CLOY in 2020 for more people to discover her when I have loved her for twenty years. Where have ya'll been, international audiences? Goodness gracious! Anyway, I think her top performance is in 2016's The Last Princess. You haven't lived unless you have seen her in it, and the last scenes, at the airport? Unbelievable! I cried buckets, also because it was a true story about a real Princess who was basically kidnapped by Japan for decades and not even allowed to return home to Korea, not even when her mother was dying. Only Ye Jin could have played that role so perfectly. Love you always, Ye Jin!

It was intertaining and the acting was genuine and natural. Son Ye- Jin is one of the best actresses in the world. Then after CLOY i watched my second Kdrama "Something in the rain". I love the pairing with Jung Hae In and Son Ye-Jin. They are a great couple in the movie. I wish they can produce another Kdrama with them together as the cast.

They have a chemistry that was so moving that I don’t think she has with Hyun-Bin, who often seems like his costars are in love with him and he is in love with him too. Jun Hae-in runs circles around other Korean actors. Her paired with him (despite the glaring age difference): I can watch them all day.

She acts with her whole body and especially with those beautiful expressive eyes. Son Ye-jin makes her male leads look better and stronger because she works hard at cultivating chemistry with each and her acting is superb.

Am going through her body of works and thoroughly enjoying each because her acting is so good. Sometimes I feel like reaching through the screen and kicking some of her male leads in the shin to make them rise to match her excellence. She kicks ass in every show/movie. The guys need to work harder to match her skill. Handsome is not good enough.

Currently watching Crash Landing and she’s carrying the show. Her male lead’s character is basically just strong and quiet that he may as well just stand quietly to the side and let the queen strut her stuff for the remaining episodes. Which is basically what’s happening. Thank you writers for catching on... He’s a bit stiff and cold. The show would be long done and over with by the time he completely thaws. Not sure why SYJ’s vivacious, bold and driven character likes that. She shines in every scene regardless of the participants. She is a delight to watch.

It was a great movie but Son Ye Jin was there only a few scenes - as a beautiful young woman who was sick often and finally died. also as an entertainer for a short scene. I sow all her movies, she was super I cried in many of them. And I loved and I still her in all of them. But her tv drama not like her movies she is the best things in all her tv drama. Ranner May 19 2018 12:19 pm Although I first saw Son Ye-Jin's photos in 2006, I kind of forgot after that, and only see my first SYJ movie/drama in "Be with You" (2018). I watched it not just once but 3x. Being one who watch new movies 10x a month -- Hollywood, China, Korean etc -- I must say hers is next level acting : SYJ really pushed the quality of her scenes up by 3 notches.

SYJ portrays a scene with subtly great expressions. She told her "husband, "Woo-Jin, that she would save a place for him in Cloudland, then looked away and kept still as tears welled up her left eye -- her sad and silent expression spoke volumes, even though we see only the side view of her face. Earlier, she said their son Ji-ho will grow up to be handsome because he looked like dad, "... you agreed, right?" -- her chuckle and words were so well mixed. Later, as she touched Woo-Jin's face and embraced him, there was something in her moves that portrayed profound sorrow and emotion. I can say more about other scenes (as I can see the movie in my mind now), but will just comment that of all the good actors -- Korean, Chinese, American etc -- only Robert Downey Jr (Tony Stark of Ironman, Avengers) has such powerful acting abilities.

I haven't watched more than 5 korean TV dramas since 2006 (which is why I didn't see SYJ acting). I usually see Korean movies on YouTube and cinema, and wonder why Singapore didn't screen more SYJ movies before (she was in a few movies past 10 years). I have much to catch up indeed, but better late than never, especially for SYJ ! Hope to see "Pirates" and "Last Princess" where she won Best Actress for portraying the "unfathomable depth of Princess Deokyak 's emotional ups and downs" -- yes, this is what SYJ does -- which bagged her Best Actress, one of her 21 best actress awards, can any global actors beat that? I like historical dramas more (for TV) but of course will be watching her modern TV dramas on YouTube or DVD.

Son Ye-Jin said she enjoyed acting in Be With You, and also suggested a few ideas during the filming. If she is reading my comments, perhaps she can share what and how she helped to make it a great and better experience for us, and mention couple of the scenes she especially likes. Congratulations, Ye-Jin, for winning Best Actress (again) for this one, which s screened not only in Asia but worldwide! Looking forward to your next one, and many more to come.

However, lately I find that she has been picking up projects that turned out to be flops. I'm talking about drama Shark and Blood and Ties. How did someone like her, who did films like The Classic, White Night, Lover's Concerto, A Moment to Remember, and dramas like Alone in Love and Summer Scent, got convinced into taking on shitty projects with flawed storyline and messy directions. Waste of talent most definitely. I know she is one to challenge herself with a variety of roles, and please consider the storyline too! Hop Pirates will turn out well.

Shark, personal taste, a moment to remember, art of seduction, spellbound, etc.. It's just weird because some korean dramas or films tend to avoid having the notion of having sex. But, Son Ye Jin is someone who can well balance between sexiness and cuteness, and she doesn't need to show much skin to be sexy.

SYJ is a total package!! excellent in in acting-wise, already talented since her debut, have one of Korean best visual, and also really famous not because of her beauty only but also her brilliant and natural acting and can shine in every role she has, even in such disappointing drama like Personal Taste (really wasted her talent).

actually i didn't really like Son Ye-jin first because i heard she has some nude scene in her movies (i just can't stand on it). but after i watched an underrated but really brilliat drama called Alone in Love, my vision about her changed. overnight, she suddenly become my #1 actress in my heart. Not like another beautiful actress who famous just because of their looks, Son Ye-jin also talented and her acting is really natural. When i watched Art of Seduction and Spellbound, she make me laugh with her acting. In A Moment to Remember, she can make me cry because of her acting and she's overshined Kim Nam-gil in Shark. (well i still haven't her another project because: April Snow, Open City, My Wife Got married because of some nude scene, Personal Taste, just watched the first eps and because of many disappointing comment about that drama, i dropped it, and also i didn't really like Lee Min-ho altough i already watched City Hunter and Faith but he's just a bland actor), and her older dramas because it's hard to find the videos and subs)

She was smoking hot, glamorous, sophisticated, and cunning...I couldn't believe my eyes, I was used to seeing her all washed out and frumpy with horrible hair but she sizzled in this one...I will watch more with her in it.

I saw all af her movie : Secret Tears, Chihwaseon, Delicious Proposal, Sun-hee & Jin-hee, Dae Mang The Great Hope, Lovers Concerto, The Classic, Crazy First Love, Summer Scent, Alone in Love, Spotlight, A Moment to Remember, April Snow, The Art of Seduction, Yobi the Five Tailed Fox (voice), Spotlight, Open City, and My Wife Got Married, Personal Taste, White Night, Spellbound, . I praise her performance is always above the average.

She changed her style from innocent girl/women to adult women since his performance in Art of seduction (one of her funniest movie beside Crazy First love).

Honestly i prefer The classic and Moment to remember then his adult and sexy performance in April Snow and Art of seduction but i realize that she want to be a versatile actress. I will always wait for her next movie. My Next movie target will be “The Tower” and “Accomplice!”
