No one who ever watched the Kdrama classic Thank You could ever forget her. She practically stole the whole drama away from the likes of Jang Hyuk, Gong Hyo Jin, and Shin Sung Rok! Please bring her back, Korea!

Nothing wooden about this young actress. She is among some the very best young actors of today. Will make a point of finding her most recent works. Fighting!!♥

MsDee Aug 15 2021 3:01 pm Thank you is one of my favourite drama of all time. I have became a fan of hers ever since. For such a young age SSA's acting was top notch. JH and KHJ was amazing as well. It was nice to follow SSA progress and success as she gets older. Looking forward to more of her work.

Park shin yang ssi is my no. 1 korean actor since Lovers in Paris hence this MMD movie urged me to watch it although i know it's been a few yrs already but to me it's brand new! You were very good in this movie & i hope to see your other projects soon! aja aja

If you are reading this, thank you so much for your art work. I love your character in all of your movies i watched up until now.

I dont often watch Korean dramas but your movies is one of the exceptions. I love them.

The entertainment industry puts people's profiles out there for the public to see, that is inevitable. You will have lots of people who hate on and criticize you which we all see in the internet. However, keep in mind that there is a another majority who loves and supports you.

Believe it or not. I have to deal with people who dislike and take advantage of me almost every single day. I learnt to ignore them and give love to other people who appreciate me. I am becoming a youtuber, that means i am putting myself in the position just like you.

As a fan i encourage you to re-open your social media like Facebook, Instagram and twitter. As many people, i really like to keep updated on what you are up to and how are you doing. Just be yourself, dont worry about the haters

I like to travel to Korea one day and that would be great if i can reach out and meet you in person

What impressed me most is the way you make everyone feel the character that you play no matter what it is: an evil child (in "Gumiho"), a cute little girl (in "High kick 2", "Thank you",...) or even a genius who wants to live a normal life (in "Boy meets girl"). I'm not a fan of Korean dramas but your films make me want to watch over and over again. Since you deleted your instagram and twitter, I don't know how to send you this comment, so I just leave it here and hope someday you will come across it. And if you do, I want to wish you all the best and I'm looking forwards to seeing you in future dramas as well as in real life (If i have a chance to visit Korea, of course)

GenesisBegins Apr 28 2017 10:44 am Her best work is in Thank You and The Queen's Classroom. Also good in Nightmare Teacher and Wonderful Nightmare, but they were lesser vehicles for her. They need to give her much better vehicles in future, in line with her truly great talent.

Larry Sep 29 2014 6:34 pm I started to watch this movie and when the dad was being so neglectful I wanted to kick his butt however as she was being taken away she wanted to go back to daddy. It is the kind of movie that is hard to forget. Having a child die at birth and another kidnapped for fifteen years this kind of film left me shaking and sad. Happy that Seo Shin Ae was able to give her eyes to her dad but the show was a tear-jerker.

I think a dam built up inside of me and this movie touched my heart and hit a nerve. I think the movie affects anyone with a heart and shame on the 6% who didn't like it because as a dad, I really do get it.

She's richly deserved each of the three awards she has won (for: 'Thank You', 'High Kick! 2', and 'Grudge: The Revolt of the Gumiho') and is certain to have a long and illustrious career ahead of her. Anyone who has not seen her as a seven year old in 2007's best drama, 'Thank You', should put this at the top of their "to do" list...
