Swindlers come across a secret of the nation and try to reveal the secret. They must go up against a large company by using all of their skills.

Lee Jeong-Hwan (Ko Gyung-Pyo) is a team leader for the major corporation. He looks like an ordinary company employee, but he is a mysterious figure. Cha Joo-Eun (Seohyun) is a swindler, who has the looks of a sweet & innocent woman. She supports herself with her crimes. Jeong Bok-Gi (Kim Hyo-Jin) is a professional swindler. She often targets other swindlers. She is elegant and also charismatic. Kim Jae-Wook (Kim Young-Min) is Jeong Bok-Gi’s partner in crime.

HV Mar 06 2021 8:39 pm Well, that is what I call... A seriously Hot Mess! The writer and the director of this drama, Private Lives,... Both of them should take a leave of absence, a sabbatical or an undetermined extended vacation... And never to return.

The only enjoyable things from this drama: - Go Kyung-pyo looks super hot with his slimmer and more athletic physique. I hope that he does not start fluctuating with his weight again. - Tae Won-suk (To me, a younger version of Ma Dong-seok) is irresistibly lovable in whatever character is portraying.

Rena Feb 17 2021 10:08 pm I just finished binge watching this on Netflix in 2 days. I think the story is excellent, the execution could have been better. The cast has GREAT chemistry, however I wish they focus more on some character development rather than trying to introduce new ones, The drama is basically a political conspiracy genre. I wish they made it more clear in the teasers so people to know what to expect. I don’t understand how people can say the story is boring or confusing. It’s very clear to me what was going on. Every episode new information is revealed so the audience can put the pieces together and find out what actually happened. There're manyyy plot holes that you have to be willing to overlook. Overall a good watch. Seohyun and Go Kyung pyo looks so good together omg

Fifth Feb 16 2021 7:58 am I’m halfway through this drama and I’ve decided to stop watching it altogether. I usually enjoy shows like this and I really wanted to see it all the way through, but I just couldn’t bear with the female lead’s acting any longer. Also not a fan of the screenplay.

The plot is unpredictable and keep you intrested the whole time, characters are cool, especially Sophia Chung (played by Kim Hyo-Jin) - I felt in love with her immediately <3 Only one warning - you need to stay focus during watching, there are a lot of names and connections to follow if you want to understand what's going on. I would recomment this drama to people who like good, intelligent entertainment.

Reasons to watch:

1. the romance is 100% all the couples are amazing and fun to watch, they all have good chemistry. Especially the main lead and second lead couples.

2. the cast is too perfect everyone plays their roles perfectly and brings out their character nicely. I thank the production team for the great casting.

3. the series is so unpredictable. You will almost never be able to tell where the story will go next. There's so many ups and downs, lefts and rights.

4. the plot is original and amazing. A lot of people will probably disagree with this. but personally I loved the plot. its a lot of stories brought together to form a picture and because the story keeps changing a lot of people get confused. but to me it all made sense. I'll admit it was complicated but that made the series even better. They didn't follow on the usual K-drama corruption plot and that made it new and original. You never know who will win and the plot can change in a blink of an eye.

5. The kiss scene's are top class amazing. Not the usually slow motion boring ones. and there's a lot of kissing! ;)

6. Mostly everyone gets what they deserve. and the way the bad guy dies in the end is too satisfying. its a case of you reap what you sow.

Anyway don't focus on the bad comments like I did before which delayed me in watching this series. give it a chance and watch it. I definitely didn't regret it! I loved it all the way through.

10/10 100% Recommended.

Or is it that they forgot to use their Emotions. Y'all should go and watch 'Misty',its a old drama tho(2018),but I watched it before private life...suspense filled,you would love it.....

SPOILERS:

Episode 15 the Gk boss drops female cop in the middle of nowhere and myung-Hyun is there. I laughed. This episode was bonkers in a bad way.

Episode 16, I watched the flimsiest and most twig-like dude named Edward the "arsonist " take down two bodyguards.Dude looks like he could get snapped all series. Ofc they killed him later in the end because he wasnt gonna have a "good ending" being the one to screw up seohyun to begin with.

Story is a sh*t show filled with ego. I cant believe it's a show. Watch it if you like snsd I guess.

Though i like the female lead... the plot is just confusing and they dont stick with it. Srry im bad ar explaining. I watched it till ep 13 was bcoz of the two boys i like damnnn. The police incharge of seohyun's case, who was a hard headed. And the boy who has a lawyer wife. I like them so so much and even laugh when there is nothing comedy at all.

But if you like the plot but a little confusing at all just continue watching it. And if you like all the casts then why not finish if? I always does that even though i cannot understand the movie anymore as long as i am seeing my fave ppl. The movie is bad guys vile city. Its a little bit confusing to me so i rewatched it and yea just found out kim moo yeol has fallen. It was not a proper moment to die!! Well i stopped watching when that old man went out of the prison. Sorry for the word. Baii. Hope You Read My Comment.

Brief story summary : a dumpster fire. Sloppy.

If you watched this weekly like I did through Netflix you were probably as confused and irritated. Now thinking back if I binge it now, IM SURE I would still get the same feeling.

Careful when watching one, y'all. Unless you're a fan of seohyun I suggest you watch the first 4 episodes to see if you like it. if you dont like it by episode 4.... drop it. Its only going leave you scratching your head even more.

They mostly were but I have one question. Who shot Kim Jae-Wook? It looked like Lee Jeong-Hwan. Did he think he was double (triple?) crossing them? And how did he survive that gunshot wound? Or was it a fake shooting?

fadila Nov 26 2020 9:45 am I think the genre is very new to kdrama. I actually like the storyline (just finished the final eps) but the presentation of the story is way too weak & messy. Joo eun & her whole famy r swindlers, but nothing was extraordinary about how they conned people. I was hoping that they would use their swindler's skills to get revenge. But everything that happen actually only revolve around jeong wan.

Storyline between edward/kim jae wochung was far more interesting than the lead couple. Edward not only conned Sophia but GK from the very beginning.

I love cha joo eun character and her chemistry with Jeong hwan. Also the interaction with her father. I am rooting for love-hate relationship between edward and sophia too. This drama is so impressive and memorable, i cant wait for the last episode. Fabulous!

The female lead constantly runs her fingers through her hair.The mother seems just like stranger to her daughter. They are a con artist family, but their strategy just as same as ordinary people. I also don't get the relation of the drama title to the story line.

I am really enjoy this drama same as my niece who is 10 years old. She always asked me when the next episode is coming out because she also enjoy to watch this drama.

This drama deserved better. I am gonna streaming and watch this drama on Netflix.

Nina Nov 23 2020 3:12 pm Honestly really wanted to love this drama but its too confusing the storyline doesnt make sense especially the way they shot it the flashbacks and way it progresses its too slow and confusing in order of events, they seem to be going with different concepts as well con artists in the first few episodes but its only later on that the title makes sense, some side characters seem pointless in the whole story as well their background is not explained well. I gave up around episode 14 there was no motivation to stick with it, really sad because its a genre i usually enjoy.

-sophia "dont be greedy, dont be a corrupt cop" and then pays him anyways. What are you writing for her jtbc writers ? She started as the antagonist that conned/swindled a whole religion and seohyun's father haha. This show is off its rockers when it tries to give a con-artist morals like that.

- sophia cons the politicians secretary and employs seohyun closes friends and allies as if seohyun wouldnt find out? Shes a veteran con-artist for crying out loud, how can she make a mistake like that? Lol. I'm dying.

-another flashback of Edward's parents and what the politicians did to them. This makes everything hes done in the past bad? Including screwing over our beautiful main character ?

-hansoon throwing spy is the best thing of this whole series. Ep 14. She got caught in the gentleman's club and got beat over the head cause of him... not to mention skipping the wedding. Holy hell.

-if they're trying to tie all of this up now in ep 13 by introducing ANOTHER new character that ties the megachurch plot to male Edward and sophia seem innocent, it's just throwing another wrench into this mess. Just like that girl that walked into seohyun's spy office and was like "you know who iam" and plugged a flash drive into the PC. So many characters that bog up the story. It's already such a cluster fu... cluster "fudge".

-just finished ep 14. So now we know GK was behind all the church thing? The boss of GK arranged for it? Then he wanted spy lee dead and even set up the meeting with him and seohyun too... why ? So they could become powerful to have revenge on him in the future ? What?

-I continue to watch this cause Seohyun is great. Her character of Jooeun deserves a better story. I'm 100% for con-artist Seohyun.

I talk whatever Nov 21 2020 8:13 am to tell you the truth,if you talk about rating! this kind of rating is OKAY! Tvn and JTBC is not a public broadcaster like KBS,MBC and SBS. JTBC nad Tvn is cable broadcaster which mean "on paid subscribe". people pay to watch. while public broadcaster is free. 2% - 5% is average for cable drama. it consider good. they also calculate ratings from small amount of subscriber. to be honest does rating consider a good drama? NO. there are a lot of underrated drama. Nowadays korean are more subscribing Netflix rather thsn cable brosdcast. SKIP

this drama! this drama! Im not sure why people said they are confusing because drama too many flashback for the first ninth episode. i think Flashback is the drama concept. The drama is about SK politic. if we talk on reality. GK is one of company who can manipulate all decision on politic. if you give attention to their narrative in each episode, GK they watch public at their will.

if we talk about scamming. So basically there is 4 leads here with different mission and motive.

Joo Eun is an amateur. She growing up with a broken family and swindler parents who actually scamming people (moderate). She also help her parents in other way wanted a happiness. she became greddy after seeing her dad was prison by boki. Was train by Hanson who actually have feeling with her. Yes, her strength in scamming is beauty. was in love with Jung Hwan and been left by him. things get worse after she knows Jung Hwan lies. thought his dead was because of her.

JungHwan we know him as a worker at GK. just a woker. but the writer scammed us as well. in the end he's GK shadow agent. He cannot exposed himself as a GK agent. So he open spy agency while working with GK. He does all dirty work for GK but happen to help 1 of GK opponent. this part im unsure why he did that. His life is boring and met with Joo Hyun who working with Hanson at that time. Edward is his ex superior who teach him how to be dirty. was been chase by GK.

Edward he is the real scammer. Money is everything. He doesnt afraid with people and holding the power. He knows everything about GK. he hold ex UI ledger which may spoil all the politic. He hold many line cable, police, GK and etc. his motive is different. he has past story that he hold for revenge. Has a heart for Boki but love will not stop him from revenge.

Boki or sophia jung is UI ex mistress. He once working with Edward to collect $. She even make JooEun dad and Joo Eun to jailed. She hold a second copy of ledger which no one knows. She knows about the politic that happen with GK and UI. Was left by Edward. Work with joo eun to find edward. has a heart for Edward. her motive is only to see Edward fall behind.

Hanson is Joo Eun mom partner. Was called as Samchon (uncle) by Joo eun. Has a feeling with Joo Eun. give everythig for her. he help joo eun so much even helping her to find Boki and Jung Hwan. big and strong. a kung fu panda. He knows that UI is not the target but GK.

Joo Eun with her fashion here ?. where did she get all of that? she already mention it from the insurance. she bought everything using her husband life insurance. She even get help from Hanson. he gave her a credit card for her to spend. so dont talk about fashion here.

lets talk about the ending! how all of the cast here who scamming us will turn down all the politic. Jung Hwan once said "All people do dirty thing even police. dont talk about loyalty or rights towards country." police who have the right also work with bad people just because he has power and money to manipulate. Polce and lawyer also join in hand to do that dirty work.

I started it because of Seohyun( sone is here) and Go Kyung Pyo's chemistry but I'm in love with Jaewook (Kim Young min) and Bokgi (Kim Hyo Jin) instead of Jooeun and Junghwan. Wishing Seohyun the best in her acting career, and hope she starts slowly and hone her acting skills with time and become a more convincing actress.

Another drama where the supporting casts bring the drama to another level.- Kim Hyo-Jin (fantastic actress) and Kim Young-Min (wowed again by his performance and again proved he never fails to deliver).

Ko Gyung-Pyo - you delivered in this convulated storyline!

DRAMA LOVER Nov 16 2020 11:58 pm I find this drama has a great plot to be very honest !!! certain people might not be enjoying this as they have so many flashbacks but those flashbacks are needed for us to understand the plot and the characters. If you are not a fan of this kind of genre, I would suggest you not to watch it and giving it a bad review just because you're confused. Well this is not a typical romcom melo drama so don't be too disappointed when the main leads lack of screen times here and there. Overall I enjoy the drama till ep.12 and it didn't confuse me at all. p/s : watch at your own risks.

Susan Nov 15 2020 6:34 am Its a good show,im an older fan of seohyun from 2012. Shes great in this. the story is a bit.... perplexing for a lack of a better term. Its hard for me and english speaker to keep up. i usually dont have trouble with k-drama's. i was highly anticipating this since its seo juhyun's first lead role in a series. i wish the writers made it simpler for us. the show must be great for korean natives that dont need to rewind back all the time. i'm just watching for seohyun our eternal maknae now and hope she gets revenge on sophia and edward for what they did to her dad. i hope her character doesnt forget either. cha jooeun jjang! fighting!

The writer-nim tries to add some comedy with it even though I must say that its getting stressfull to trust one character coz at the back of my mind, anytime one of them can become a traitor and thats stresfull/heartbreaking to watch. Specially if the lovestory of Jeong Hwan and Joo Eun is on the line.

Gyung Pyo and Seohyun's chemistry is no joke specially if you will see the bts of each episode. Im really hoping for a happy ending for them ( in the story and wishfull thinking, in real life also though YongSeo fan here *yong mian*)

Hmm, I agree for the execution, it seems some scenes are too slow. But not the story, it's perfect for me. I cannot say I love this drama, but it hooked me since the beginning. And about CJE and LJH, I feel sorry for them. They are just two people that love each other, but why it's so hard for them to be together. Maybe it's weird, but I cried watching them in episode 8. I hope they can be together at the end.

Billy Maron Nov 12 2020 7:16 am First of all I'd like to say Im an old school Girls Generation fan. as a person that has to draw houses for a living it takes a lot of will power for me to watch an english subbed series/movies on netflix ( i like to rest my eyes after a long week.) Seohyun had me clicking on the first episode and i was hooked.

episode 2 was cool as well, great tv. by episode 3 and 4 i was pushing rewind more than i expected myself to. episodes 5-10 are almost a blur to me. it was really hard to follow and the scenes in the past looked almost exactly like the scenes in the present. im happy for seohyun though! her performance is amazing!! ill continue watching only because i want to see what happens to her and hansoon.

something that worries me though is that in the last couple of episodes, the show started showing the backstories of the 2 seemingly main "antagonist" in the beginning : Sophia and Edward. Sophia seems friendly with the rest now and are we as an audience supposed to feel empathy for Edward now? Cause if this show ends up as all of them friends then... Seohyuns fam getting conned, the dad going to prison for 8 years and all that means basically nothing,right? and i dont think you can resolve it all by just saying "oh thats how it is in the conman business. you con people. you get conned back." This is basically how they resolved Seohyun and main lead spy guys romantic rekindling in the ep 9 or 10. i shook my head and literally said " thats it? they resovled that in 20 minutes?"

Again, love seohyun, love the idea of the show, these characters could be so much better if retold in a different way.

P.s. GK Boss loves to do spinning kicks. oh boy.

sensible viewer Nov 05 2020 9:35 am Okay so uptil episode 8 i still somewhat enjoyed the drama and was still interested in watching it as from epi 7 and 8 it seemed finally story is revealing things unlike previous episodes where things were happening out of blackhole, like who is lee jeong hwan ,his real name, job, what is gk ,what it does , and specially monolgue in every epis start about private lives and above all the title of drama how it relates to the story.

Buttt even i have given up now, its just too much to waste your brain energy after a silly drama which never improves. In the first 6 episodes things were just happening out of vacuum, in 7 and 8 you saw some background and connections how they happened but in episode 9 instead of resolving things it continued the same old confusing pattern. Even now things are happening as if events are falling off the sky, why they happened and what they are connected with, we dont know at all. The pattern followed to reveal things later in epis 7 and 8 and in later episodes itself was wrong. The things hidden and revealed later were basic intro of characters and were not part of suspence, if you are going to keep suspence do on plotlines not characters backgrounds. I managed to read a but detailed synopsis written by a viewer at another site, and that viewer too had watched the episodes many times to put together the story and even he/she still didnt know everything, also the story that synopsis showed just showed the storyline is not interesting enough to waste your brain energy into trying to understabd a super poorly written script and even more terribly directed and edited.

In many dramas conflicts resolve towards the end which is fine but you also know what the conflicts are and there nature, but here writer very funnily chose to keep entire conflict and reason why it happened under suspence which is such a poor story tellng method and thats the reason every event uptil now seemed to have been coming out of a blackhole. Even gk till now is not completely clear what it does, what is its vision room. Now take an example of what isaid, we have been seeing vision room since episode 1 or 2 but it was in episode 8 they revealed the name of dept is vision room!!!!! Does that even sound fair to do this to viewers? And how they are srealing information? By somehow using your laptop cameras? Lmao is that it?

Also what @terrible chracters wrote below is exaclty all my thoughts put together. The fl is a low iq woman who gets conned while playing her own con , is so low iq to not even suspect male lead of being suspicious when he comes to drop usb, yes he could be an employee but he could be a suspicious person too based on the nature of misson she was carrying out. Then her entitled and extrmely arrogant behavior. The fruit juice scene with the cop at cafe was so maddening, and the behavior that followed after that scenewas just too muc, any other cop would have right away closed the case for her lack of coooeration. She never answers any basic questions ,walks out on him and why each time the detective runs after her, even grilling meat for her with her making rude faces and looking around the place rolling her eyes. The actress playing it delivers her lines in a very lethargic super exhausted tone, walks in a lethargic way. Like the whole character is a disaster.

Lee jung hwan is a spy working with gk who carries out missions and has a detective agency as front cover. Whats funny is that despite being a shadow employee and having front cover job he openly shares with people he works with gk tech. Either i have missed something or writer does not even know such spies never disclose name of actual workplaces. Secondly, the hacker friend is so close to him he shed tears over his "supposed hanging death" but cruelly sets alight his dead body without knowing he is the twin. The hacker guy whose twin was killed after meeting jeong hwan cried for his brothers deaths revenge and goes back to be jeong hwans puppy despite knowing that even though someone else killed his brother this guy is the one who turned his brothers corpse into seekh kabab. But no its all roses and flowers.

I regret wasting time on this show in hope story will get better. The flaws in story telling are so childish that i cant believe. The basics of storytelling are not known to either director and writer. Events will keep dropping from sky without a reason and background.

Penthouse might be bad but i find it better by million times than this cause atleast viewer knows whats happening and who is who. And its about time writer or director drops the beginnig monlogue cause it makes no sense, doesnt connect with story and sounds funny now because by epi9 viewer will know it is just stupid gibberish trying to create a very serious image of drama (and failing at it) with no bearing on storyline.

Tldr: dont waste time on this show. Dont watch it.

I'm only up to ep 4 but the female lead is really letting the show down, the writers made her character so useless. She has no skills and isn't very smart, she doesn't even come up with her own cons but somehow still has money to buy soju and outfits without even working. Is the whole show just fan-service for Seohyun's fans?

Seems like most of the show is based around the female lead just being pretty and playing the victim and all the men around her immediately fall for her and try to help her. It's difficult to keep watching when her character is just straight up rude and entitled all the time, even to the people who are trying to help her ie. her mum who still cares about her in her own tough love kind of way and lent her money even though she was being an entitled brat about it, the uncle guy who clearly has a thing for her and always takes care of her (even bought her a rooftop house) even though she never thanks him and just takes him for granted, even the police guy (that grapefruit juice scene made me so mad, plus he was clearly frustrated when she wouldn't answer any of his questions but as soon as she asks if he's married - he simps)

The entire plot is just based on how males will simp for a pretty girl no matter how stupid and rude she is. Also the two leads have no chemistry and their entire relationship was built off lies so it's hard to believe that they are 'in love' with each other. Wish they would focus less on the female lead's romcom / entitled brat story and show more of the interesting side around GK / Edward and Jeong Bok Gi but in a logical sequence not with the messy timeline jumps

Anyway ratings wise its not doing well on jtbc channel because its airing at netflix lol it’s been #1 on netflix korea instead of their usual channel so yeah give it a try

They have a hidden department where they pry on people and carry out dirty activities for powerful and effect political landscape of country by manipulating events to bring people of their affiliation to power. Thats what i got but still not sure what gk is. Also gk has actual employees but their identities are also given to spy employees and they are called shadows like male lead is a shadow.Storytelling is v disjointed. I am still enjoying the show. Also now they showed edwards parents were murdered in cold blood. I think that scenario was unrealistic but it made me cry.

I don't like how this drama is executed with so much unnecessary things without even having a clear picture of what's going on. Dramas like Fiery Priest, Good Casting and Innocent Defendant tackles social or political issues as well but it will get you hooked. Private Lives doesn't get me hooked, maybe I'll watch it on a marathon when it ends. I recommend Record of Youth and Start-Up if you want good vibes during the pandemic.

I dont know if theres just too many time-leaps, flashbacks and affiliations between characters but i feel like this show is just being too smart for its own good. I loved Vagabond and Tell Me What You Saw (w/ Suzy and Sooyoung. i like to watch 2010s idol's dramas) but Private Lives just has me lost. i even went back to ep 3 and 4 yesterday in between my shifts to try to understand episode 7.

safe to say, with episode 8 on netflix tonight, ill just be watching to see what happens to Seohyun's character. Theres just too many moving pieces and i cant keep up with what's past and present with Edward, Main lead and GK.i give up on trying to understand that story.

after a shift at the hospital with all the mayhem going on in our ICU, this show gives the same feel during a 12 hour shift: tired confusion. its unfortunate, i love seohyun, i was hoping her show would be great. her acting and everything is great. story would be solid if things were executed more clearly for the audience. sorry if im part of the stupid demographic that cant understand it all.

The female lead is just a petty con artists, obviously she's not going to be smart enough to go against people who work with huge conglomerates and the presidents and stuff. So far it's a nice drama. There's suspense, a little comedy, a nice plot. If you're someone who can wait a little, this dramas pretty good

The police scare of her, the ex-detective scare of her, her friend is scare of her. omg she just a con. Why so scared? Sometimes I skip her antagonist part because is too boring. I like when she go into action, it’s more cool and enjoyable. The scripwriter need to work hard for this, a rude character doesn’t make them a main character.

The show had a very seious tone at first and then the comedy threw itself in suddenly which took me by surprise I was like "oh? Ok then?"

In the first couple eps the show was fast paced but currently there's 6 eps & I'm already feeling the drag. Like I want Joo Eun to find out her husband is alive and run into him soon.

I really like Han Son but it's a lil odd? That he has romantic feels for Joo Eun. Even he acknowledges that he doesn't understand either. You can't really control your heart but tbh he knew her since she was in highschool and hes significantly older so the gap is a lil meh and she uncle zones him so lol

Overall I'm enjoying this show :)

Based on my opinion, the storyline of this drama is really different than other kdrama. If you are someone who love to watch many genre in one drama. All of you should watch this. It feels like you are watching a movie.

But I think, for those who doesn't like confusing storyline and plot, they will think it boring or can't get along. For those who think like that, you should watch all episode. So that, you will know why you keep confusing and getting clear at the end of the episode. LOL.

For episode 5, it really make me cleared and it my fav episode so far in term of storyline because all genre in one episode (romance - part Joo Eun & JungHwan, thriller - part Jung Hwan & Edward/Jae Wook, comedy - Joo Eun & Bokki)

Of course, Joo Eun and Jung Hwan loves is not documentary but the true/real love who falling in love while doing their own work. So, Pangyo Newlyweds is sailing ❤️

I'm in episode five and a little guess kim young min is the villain here? He can kill humans and he is the most mysterious guy here. That's why I want to know more who is the real antagonist in this drama.

This genre is not common and the editing making some people confused, but I enjoy it so much. Every episode make me wonder, "What's Next???"

I hope rating will improve next week because the timeline would be easy to understand, the flashback already explain a lot about the characters background. Private lives team, Fighting!!!!

Kerry Oct 17 2020 10:08 am The first three episodes were good but episode 3 had me confused for a bit because of the abrupt timeline jump. However, I think the drama will pick up going into episode 5. The way episode 4 ended, while not surprising, was really good.

The entire cast has done a great job in their roles so far. I look forward to the rest of the drama.

Sami Oct 17 2020 1:09 am Got hook on ep 2. Although i have to agree that pacing is an issue. Some flashbacks were confusing because i was trying to place in the timeline. However i don't think it was that hard follow after. Seohyun's acting really impressed me. I didn't know she could play that sort of character so well. Definitely not your typical romance drama.

A lot of other dramas have successfully employed this strategy, but sadly, Private Lives is a hot mess for it. They should learn a thing or two from 18 Again, being its concurrent co-JTBC drama airing right now. That one has superior storytelling with timeline jumps.

I love the leads, seohyun and kyung pyo have great chemistry and really complement each other well. But the plot and directing and editing are the real problem. It's like, one episode we get too much of Joo Eun and not enough of Jeong Hwan, and the next episode is the opposite. The flashbacks are poorly edited to the point that it became quite confusing.

Had to skip a lot of parts while watching ep4 yet syill wasn't engaged. I think they're heading in a wrong direction. Ugh i wanted to watch Seohyun and Kyung Pyo so bad but I'm afraid I'll be dropping this. Total waste of time. There are more fun and engaging kdramas out there.

But watch the 3rd episode, I already lost count on how many characters here. Not to mention the timeline is soooo complicated, it's basically flash back in a flash back talking about past.

For me, until episode 3 this drama is just too complicated and boring. Hoping that in the future it gets better.

There’s a lot we have to try to put together and follow because the plot is very messy. It’s like the editors misplaced scenes or something lol. And there’s too much flashbacks and tears and OMG! But Overall it’s really good. Gyung Pyo Oppa and Seo hyun unni have some much chemistry. I love it!

Samshoon character is creepy cause of his feelings for young girl. Tho few things didnt make sense who killed rich man n y edward had to find witness. writing here was weak. camera work is poor imean the wau cameraman is capturing is very amateur and to think in 2020camerawork is like this is shocking . drama producers should immediately replace cameraman. hes ruining a fun show
