Her performances are strong, but unfortunately as of late the projects she has been in have had weak writing/storylines which is why the ratings weren't that great. However, she without a doubt has the capability to execute a performance and hopefully she'll get more recognition when she gets a project with a great writer. We need more actresses like her and less idol actresses.

kim so eun didn't attend MBC Drama Awards coz she has live radio at the same time ( the radio it's more important since she's the dj as you knew ).

moreover she can attend events + awards + join projects even if she under no agency (she has her manager & her own stylish team to contact).

I believe she choice to not attend as well as many actors did + I think it's not a problem since she got the "new rookie award" on 2013.

anyway, she now looking for new agency, I'm sure we well hear good news soon (she's a good on acting after all).

She was in Sad Love Song but not the one with Yoo Seung Hoo. She was in the clip where the main character was still Song Seung Hoon. But because of something (I'm not sure), they changed the male lead and the whole younger casts. She was cast alongside Seo Joon young back then. If you searched and found the clip, you will know that she used to be in Sad Love Song (the 1st vers).
