Billie Apr 10 2021 7:53 pm Since I watched mother and respect him more after that, he can brought the series at baeksang 2018 even it didn't noticed in international more than other drama. I know baeksang rlly art award & definited it objectivly. In this year i finished flower of evil, i know Kim Chul Gyu director-nim also directed this series. Unexpected! It gained more intense and melodramatic (i cried). Hopefully Baeksang still objective and pick Flower of Evil up, this is an art, the actor, director, and writter deserve to be nominated and win. Flower of evil not only had amazing director but the flow and pace was very well done, my new thing is to check out the directors of amazing dramas and i see that this director also produced Chicago Typewriter and Emergency Couple which i've also watched and found amazing! Please work with Lee Dong Wook at some point! Bayane Oct 22 2020 2:53 am Flower of Evil! Its Amazing. Very intense, edge of your seat type of thriller. I finished it in a day and its one of the best kdramas ive watched (not trying to be dramatic, ive watched most of them hhh). The story is good by itself. Then on top of that, we've got great dialogue, fantastic cinematography, visuals, soundtrack and acting. Fast paced story thats exciting to watch. Always anticipating what will happen next. The story is very touching. It shows the consequence of labelling someone, and the psychological effects. Mental health, Family, Friendship, Trust, Teamwork are all themes touched in this thriller. Once we all have the Flower of Evil hangover (after ep 16 airs), you should all watch Mother because it is amazing and one of my top dramas, just like FoE. Everything is too slick, new, and neatly pressed. Even rich people wear their clothes. The clothing shouldn't all look like it came off the rack yesterday. Also, the make-up is too opaque. Both men and women look like polished marble, and the men tend to be too orange. People are much more wabi-sabi than that. But still marvelous. I wish I could hug and kiss you all.
