Choi Soo-A (Kim Ha-Neul) works as an assistant purser at an airline. She has been working there for 12 years. Her husband is a pilot and they have a 12-years-old daughter. Choi Soo-A thinks she is content with her life, but she meets Seo Do-Woo (Lee Sang-Yoon). Her life changes. Seo Do-Woo works as a part-time instructor in architecture. He has a bright and warm heart. He is married and they have a daughter, but a shocking incident occurs. Due to this, he becomes confused and Choi Soo-A comes into his life.

loraine Feb 08 2022 6:46 am I remember watching this drama for the first time back in 2016 when it first aired, the moment I saw the trailer I was immediately hooked. The drama did not disappoint. It is a slow paced slice of life drama that will forever have a place in my heart. The first of its kind I would say as other dramas in the following years have followed suit in terms of style and feel. Kim Ha Neul and Lee Sang Yoon’s beautiful chemistry is an understatement. All of the characters, the music, the cinematography, and the writing felt very real. Like it was something that is from real life and not from a drama. This is one of the few dramas that I have consistently rewatched throughout the years and it always soothes me every time and makes my heart flutter because of Soo Ah and Do Woo. It is definitely underrated since I have observed that not a lot of kdrama viewers know of this drama.

Mike Mar 27 2021 12:42 am I saw the ending and I am very happy with it. Soo-A and Do-Woo were soulmates, both with kindness, compassion, and love inside. Although Do-Woo's heartless wife finally redeemed herself in the end, feeling the sadness and pain of her daughter, it was too late to repair the damage she caused with her very mean treatment towards her daughter. Soo-A's husband was abusive, period. No wife should be treated that way and Soo-A did the right thing, to leave him. I loved this drama, great work by entire cast, actors, actresses. I am happy and thoroughly satisfied with the ending, as I hoped, they both deserved to be happy together as they were both good, gentle, loving. Wonderful drama.

And I asked myself many times during watching it and until now I am asking myself WTH did not watch it back then(probably cause I thought the drama was about cheating and some creepy relationships that’ll make me feel scorn towards the characters). Anyway, let me talk about the drama I really really really loved everything about it( the Drama script, the directing, the production, and all characters, the meanings behind every scene) I was so amused about this drama, couldn’t hold my tears sometimes, and my feelings were sooo into this drama.

Sisa Feb 15 2021 10:31 pm I happened to see some scenes in KBS so I got curious, I watched it online. I am not surprised why the ratings are so poor. This drama is not commendable. The story may happen in real life, but it happens because people allow it to happen. Soo ah may have problems with her husband but having an affair with a married man will never be the solution. Many families and relationships are ruined bec of women like Soo ah. A selfish woman who only thinks about herself. How can a mother leave her young daughter all alone just to be with another man? If I were Do Woo's wife, a slap would never be enough.

I just finished last Dec 2020 Kim Haneul's " 18 again " was she in the kdrama "mischievous " wherein she played as a teacher having an affair with her student !??! I am just lost in the starting plot as i have started with ep. 3 and 4 ?! Both ha e children here but will commit adultery?! Ok let's see next week.

Kim Haneul always my favourite and Seo Do's character is a dream guy for all girls (at least for me! Lol) The writer really knows how to make us to feel the love in a good way. I suppose to be angry as they were in a forbidden relationship but I'm not! Good job to all who involved in this amazing drama!

Actually trying to catch all of his series where and whenever possible. He is really amazing. The 2 leads are superb in bringing the story to live. Somehow I find Kim Hye-won irritating. Not sure what is her story line but seeing how she has no respect for Min-suk at all...I was glad Do-woo tells her to respect Min-suk saying Min-suk is like an elder brother to him. Will continue to watch as I am thinking both Soo-a and Do-woo would make the best soulmate ever.

MAFIAE Mar 23 2020 10:05 am I loved this drama. not that am rooting for their kind of relationship but i loved how they seemed to realise that their relationship was wrong and wouldnt yell at each other... i kind of laughed when looked at lee sang yoon and wonder how he was able to pull this kind of convincing acting kkkkk knowing how shy he is in real life. great acting i suppose! on the other hand kim haneul really knew when to look guilty for being in a forbidden relation. she is such a great actress. i wonder where i was when everyone else was watching this drama lol....great stuff!!! the riter knows how to get us hooked in each and every episode!

Kwan Aug 25 2019 5:02 pm This is one of my favorite dramas. I really like Kim Ha Nuel and she doesn't disappoint here. Lee Sang Yoon is very good as her counterpart, and he comes in second on my list of favorite leading men for Ha Nuel, the first being So Ji Sub. I plan to watch this drama several more times. I think this drama really struck a cord with me because I was stuck in a loveless marriage for 29 years and I felt the sorrow and loneliness the two lead characters endured. I suggest others watch it, I think you'll really like it.

It was done so well, and of course Shin is playing the character that I love to hate. It seems that he plays characters like that in every drama I've seen him in. As for Kim Ha Neul, she is good with all of her leading men, and Lee Sang Yoon is no exception. I'll rank Sang Yoon as my second favorite with Ha Neul, my very favorite being So Ji Sub. Give this drama a try, I'm sure you'll really like it.

Love isn't to be said but to be done.. We can say millions times if we love someone, but our behavior proves it, not just words..

A Marriage because some reason look like this drama...i see she/he marry without pure love, yea you can smile and laugh but your heart always lonely. And finally the marriage just give you heartache. You unhapppy. Searching a happiness with the other and make an affair. I think....if you are unhappy you must be chosee to break ...dont cheating...dont be affair. Just a fan May 31 2018 6:12 pm I would like to concur some of you. I watch this drama like an umpteenth time. Usually when I am too depressed, I would watch this and it will give me some hope. Anyway, similar to all of you, i dont condone extra marital affairs, largely because if i am in the shoe of who was being cheated, the hurt is too deep to imagine. But for some reason i am able to accept this story line and i kept asking myself why. After watching several times, each time going thru lines by lines of each scenario, i finally come to one conclusion. This is not merely a story about cheating and affairs. It is about 2 soulmates, finally realised who they really are for each other but are not in the position to embrace that freely. They thought that they are finally on their journey of life with their respected spouses n family but little that they realised they were actually not moving at all. I think that was what the writer trying to show us. In fact, throughout the drama, both characters were trying to make sense of what they are feeling of each other. They kept of defining the relationship unintentionally (even if they kept denying that) - atel chinggu's dad, annie's roommate's mom, phone buddies, their comfort, the three nos, special person in life, annie's gift, fate etc but they can never come to one conclusion until each of them, decided to move away from.their comfort zone and embrace the whole relationship of what is supposed to be - soulmate. And i think this is what makes this drama beautiful. Dont get me wrong. I am not justifying their relationship. In fact the affairs makes no sense at all but they seem to make sense of each other. The writer even tries to throw in all the usual reasons why affairs could occur - lost of loved ones, abusive spouses, circumstances, sexual attraction (the wine glass touch incident n the kiss) etc. But such reasons would never make sense for these 2 ppl because their characters are built in such a way that they are way beyond all that i.e the reasons would never sway them from their current life. From making life altering decisions like that but they did anyway. So what makes them? A cheater? A liar? A bad person?. This is where the writer brilliantly makes us ponder what is the real definition of their relationship. And surprisingly it is not supposed to be that complicated. It is supposed to be the simplest answer of all - soulmate. So, unless you are really2 sure the person you met is your true soul mate, no reasons in the world could justify any affairs. And even then, the journey to discover that will never be easy. This is what i think i finally concluded from this drama. #justmy2cents

Extra marital affairs is cruel to any marriage but when the one partner of yours is not lovable towards you... its like someone is draining your energy. The other first person only suffers, than at this point if someone comforts you and respects you, than its best to leave the toxic relationship. This is my opinion

I didnt found anything wrong in this drama infact i just loved how Doh woo shi respects and wanted to protect her as much as he can. He is the most understanding character i have seen in the history of kdrama. The way he gazes at her... it had literally made my heart flutters numerous times. Truly speaking i liked each and every main character in this drama except one character i didn't like is Soo ah Mother-in-law. I really wish her character would have been little warm towards Soo ah and her granddaughter. I just find this drama real to our lives. Highly highly highly recommending to watch this drama. Lee Sang yoon shi and Kim Ha Neul Unnie... Saranghae ❤❤ and Khamashamida for bringing this beautiful drama.

Shinta Muliasari Feb 20 2018 5:47 am This drama is so beautiful. Best melodrama ever. I've watch this drama for about 4 times. This is not like other melodrama that can make you cry or feel sad. But the dialogue between Soo Ah and Do Woo always makes my heart flutter. Even the scene when Do Woo willing to touch Soo Ah's hand when she poured wine for Do Woo, and Do Woo touched Soo Ah's shoulder in the plane. I feel this scene is more intimate than Kiss Scene in any other drama.

I just need this kind of drama in my life, wish there is drama like this next time..

Love how they look at each other and how they interact. I watched it countless time already and could still feel the emotions between the couple every time I watched it. Miss it so much even after one year already. Hope to see Kim Ha neul and Lee Sang Yoon together again in other drama.

I like K dramas at the beginning because of the slow pace. The purpose pause lets you time to feel the emotion to digest or to print it in you. Please watch Temperature of love which I find also very authentic natural acting. I would appreciate your review for this drama. THunter Oct 20 2017 7:53 pm The best drama I have ever watched, and I have watched hundreds of Asian dramas. I have only re-watched a handful of dramas, but I have re-watched this 5 times, that is how good it is. The acting, cinematography, and writing are amazing.

The rating is much lower than it should be because the plot involves adultery. If you look at the low ratings on here it is either because the person didn't like the adultery aspect, or because the person prefers school rom-coms like Playful Kiss (Which I find vapid and boring).

This show has a quiet, captivating atmosphere. It is a mature story with many layers that is essentially about two people in toxic marriages who always selflessly put their own feelings last, and puts the desires of those they care about above their own happiness.

It certainly has one of the most sexy kissing scenes in all of drama history, and other seductive scenes peppered throughout the drama. Seo Doo Woo (LSY), the main male character is the kind of male lead I yearn for after having watch so many dramas where arrogant guys treat women poorly. He has the caring consideration that is often given to second leads. He is starkly different than Soo-Ah's (KHN) calculated and cold husband Captain Park (SSR). At first the audience is confused, Captain Park doesn't seem that bad, but as the show progresses you really start to see what a nightmare he is. He is supposed to be very charming, and that is what the audience sees at first as well, just like the people he has hurt in his life, he draws you in slowly.

This next part is my break down of the story and its layers, it somewhat contains spoilers.

Soo-Ah needed Seo Doo Woo, not just because he is considerate, but because she would have kept on suffering just because she is so selfless. She would have endured her marriage to Captain Park. Captain Park is just like Seo Doo Woo's wife, extremely selfish. He doesn't care about Soo-Ah's feelings, but wants to maintain his family no matter how much hurt he causes his wife. The way that Soo-ah constantly caves into her daughter is reflective of the fact that she doesn't want to be indifferent to her daughter's feelings the way Captain Park does to her. He loves controlling people, which is apparent from his constant manuals he wants Soo-ah to follow. If she doesn't follow them, he punishes her.

The layers in this are intriguing. The drama really lets the actors 'act' out their emotions, they show you what they are feeling rather than telling you through pointless dialogue. This makes the audience question and attempt to understand the decisions of the characters in the story. While on the surface it may seem like Seo Doo Woo has a thing for caring mothers, it is really Soo- Ah's selflessness that draws him to her, after being in a marriage with a woman who puts her own feelings above all others, it is a refreshing and something he needs in the wake of tragedy. Beyond their initial chemistry, he notices traits in Soo-Ah that Annie had, and since he is struggling to know what the secret behind Annie's smiles were, he finds himself wanting to get closer to Soo-ah to understand what Annie went through a little more. The parallels between Annie and Soo-Ah are interesting and can be easily missed the first time you watch the drama. Rescuing Soo-ah from her emotionally abusive husband is kind of a second chance for Seo Doo Woo, since he feels guilty for not recognizing what Annie was suffering at the hands of his wife. He is also appreciative of how Soo-Ah cherishes the people he loves unlike his wife.

Their partners were monsters, and fate making them cross paths so they could save one another. It is a beautiful story, and one I will visit again and again.

The two main characters can be annoying at times (maybe it's just me haha), but please give this drama a chance. Like seriously, I loved it. I feel like I liked it better than Goblin. Despite the controversial theme this drama have, but it is really romantic and sweet. Two thumbs up for the script writer. LSY and KHN, their chemistry is one the best chemistry I've ever seen in kdrama. Their acting are awesome ??? And I think I could melt if Seo Do Woo look at me the way he look at Choi Soo Ah. His eyes so...full of love and compassion.

But I hate the ending. It's not properly ending after 15 emotional episodes. Why not give us scene that can make our heart at ease ??? The ending is not good enough. ?

Clarkdale44 Apr 18 2017 2:59 pm I know Kim Ha Neul is quite a good actress but she has outdone herself in this particular drama... This show is an emotional journey that has touched my heart deeply.... I have to say this is the best drama i have seen in a long time.

I just don't understand why it's so underrated.... If it's because of the plot then it's outrageous. People are judging the show based on the plot. I know affair is not the taken lightly but the way it is portrayed in this drama is so beautiful, ingenuous and director's masterpiece. I just don't have the words to describe....

The background music with Kim Ha Neul's emotional acting skills, it is a real hidden diamond gem indeed.... Not to mention the same goes for Lee Sang-Yoon with outstanding performance and chemistry with KHN.

The top of the line acting of KHN and LSY kept on leaving me speechless in each episode... I couldn't help but praise them both.

I don't know what else to say... If you're avoiding this drama just because this is about the affair of two married couples then you will probably regret it...

OK i have never rated any drama this high before.... but today is the day i will do so...

10/10.. A++++ Top of the line.. The highest rating can be... This drama deserves highest rating possible... (No doubt the best drama i have seen seriously in a while... Outstanding performance by both leads... Perfect chemistry and superb cinematography, not to forget that splendid music... Every minute of this drama is completely worth it...)

With the fact of adultery aside (I'm strongly against and disagree with it), it's so beautiful, on how Sua and Dowoo cope with their respective marriage and friendship. The casts were very good and have great chemistry with each other that they able to deliver the feelings, like how Sua and Dowoo feel for each other, how Jinseok feels when he loses Sua, the sense of loyalty between Mijin towards Sua. Highly recommended to watch but watch it with maturity. If you think you can't, then better don't start (honest advice).

I was, at first attracted with the setting of the drama (airport, airlines, Malaysia), but at last, attached to it till the last episode (and can't move on to watch any other dramas for several days after it ended) because of the emotions, hit me so hard. And those emotions made me going back and forth between hoping Sua and Dowoo get together and hoping Sua and Jinseok work out their marriage for the sake of Hyoeun.

Seriously, highly recommended but be matured when watching it, this is not your average high school romance or com-rom (like duh! It's a melo, what are you expecting??)

Liking this drama doesn't mean you are supporting adultery. It's still a big no-no. It's like watching a drama about stealing and lying as well. Learn the mistakes and its consequences and not do it in real life.

Those young or single viewers might not like it or interested about this complicated drama. Do-woo, is he possessed with women with kids only or married women? He actually a bachelor guy who got interested on Hye-won with a daughter, Annie but is he only sympathy Hye-won, single mother with Annie? From the story, he more care of Annie than his wife, wife purposely using him to get what she want in her life? She more keen in her career, she lied to Do-woo that Annie's father dead but maybe not in this story. I understand Hye-won was very selfish woman but do understand her circumstances that she made a mistake in her life, that she got pregnancy in high school and daughter already big. In the story, Do-woo got mentioned at first he loved Hye-won, willing to take care of Annie but since Annie was an obstacle between him and Hye-won, that's a reason, Hye-won doesn't want Annie come back again to Seoul. What my opinion is why Do-won stupidly tried to seduce Soo-A even he knew she married? At the beginning, did this drama showed us, Do-won know Soo-A had unhappy married life? I don't think so, he just obsessed or much interested in Soo-A as a sweet mom care much of her daughter, Hye-eun. He should know what he doing was wrong, since he had experienced with Hye-won and again he tried hard to seduce Soo-A while she still married to Jin-suk. It is disgusting story that I can admitted as a standard Asian lady. Whether Soo-A having an unhappy married or not, Do-won shouldn't keep approaching her. It is so obvious, at the beginning they always tried to meet secretly, hide themselves in secluded spaces and lied to their spouses, friends and relatives. Anyway, this is the kind of story that writer wanted to tell and I personally don't like this kind of story. It is good example another type of adultery affairs do happen in the society. I don't like this two main actors, Sang-yoon and Sung-rok, very stiff and boring in acting.

The actors are phenomenal. The soundtrack is lovely, as is the cinematography. It really was just the best. I wish there were more of this caliber.

That being said, there was chemistry between the main characters. The actors were good and the show was well written. Shin sung rok, Jang hee jin and Lee sang yoon were the best in this drama.

But, circumstances ma come it the most unexpected time.Adultery is wrong in the tort of law and a sin indeed... But, human make mistakes...in situations like Soo Ah and Duo Woo, and many experienced it...I am not in the position to judge them.But , i can feel what they feel and the loneliness...yet adultery is still adultery...there is no excuse in the sin that you commit...only consolation that both have ill gotten relationships with their spouses...

How can the husband Park say that he cherished his wife and that she is precious to him, if for so many years he IGNORED Soo Ah.. Her wife wants only one thing, that is for her family to become close, but he chooses to be always apart, flirt, drink and sleep with other Pursers, very irresponsible. Even the mother in Law, how can she demand Soo Ah to pay her some amount monthly for babysitting her daughter. Grandparents I think it is their happiness to watch over or take care of their granddaughters, also Hyo Eun is a big girl already why pay for big amount..?

Anyway, this drama, overall is beautifully done! Highly recomended! Although there are some questions of infidelity, they tackled it carefully and nicely so that Viewers would still think many times what to do if they are in the shoes of Doo Woo and Soo Ah. We all have choices, and our choices will be our destiny. Good luck to all!

otw airport is a difficult and serious story, I read some comments and so many opinion about this drama. but for me, this is good enough and perfect! Choi Soo Ah and Seo Do Woo do their best for end up together without hurt other people, especially Seo Do Woo, I really hate Kim Hye Won, but Do Woo still caring her, because no matter what, he ever love her in the past. both of them also think many things again and again till the end.

I really love Song Mi Jin character, first time I think "whoa. is she really Choi Soo Ah bestfriend? I'm sure, she has an affair with Park Jin Suk, she certainly a witch with mask." but no, she always priority her friend. that's why I love her character here, she can be the best for both Choi Soo Ah and Park Jin Suk.

rating 9/10 for this drama. loved it.

ps: when Seo Do Woo and Park Jin Suk meet for first time, I imagined Jin Suk will say "how are you, Cha Woo Jin? Already have new trick for win?" HAHAHA, sorry my bad english --v

The subject of divorce/separation is not an easy one, but it managed to portray the realities of life and in a respectful way too. The little hints as the story unfolded makes one reflect on how we treat people, and realize how our actions, big or small, has an impact on others. I also liked that the characters were not one-dimensional. Music and cinematography were excellent complements to the show.

My views is in my humble opinion too. Put aside my head and follow my heart, if I were Sua I might do the same thing, provided there is someone like Dou and only Dou. Swoon. Even LSY commented Dou is exquisitely Pure that there could be hardly any man like him. Swoon again. Can I come with you Dou? Can I keep you Dou?

I am positive about women breaking away from toxic relationships, tried to be do things in her own terms. I am torn when the women runaway in the middle of the night leaving sick child to the aid of a potential lover, could be stranger. It could be dangerous in reality as men could take advantage.

Aaah well, it’s only a fiction. I guess Hyoen will be surprised when Sua meet her with Dou. In time, she will be happy. I am impressed at the writer when the villain is de-villainise, I did not expect the story to come to terms with Hye Won and Jin Suk in a comfortable way. To my suspense, I was at the edge of my seats hoping that Dou did not come back to Hye Won in the final episode.

Simply put, the drama was a great escapism at my living room from the craziness of world today.

IMHO this drama quietly says that people make mistakes when we choose to marry someone. If one is lucky, we can start over again. Both DoWoo's wife and SooAh's husband moved on. They were awful spouses...selfish and self-centered. They weren't physically abusive, but they were emotionally and psychologically abusive. I'm glad DoWoo and SooAh were able to escape their awful marriages and found each other. I felt the worst for HyoEun but she too will move on. Not all children from divorced families will carry scars. It's better she sees her mother be happy and productive then for her to see her in a miserable marriage. Would you like to show your daughter that's how to live?? Not to say couples should willy nilly divorce when there are children involved but in SooAh's case, she had to leave her husband. He was a big jerk who would have slowly killed her. Loved this drama. It was quiet and tastefully done.

In a positive light, the message is that divorce crushed everyone eventhough it is a right thing to do. It denies part of someone life, taking children away from a parent and eventhough won, it is selfishly bitter. The drama is not in full support of infidelities, it teaches that everyone has a reason of being who they are. Much of your values and fears comes from childhood experiences. Meeting, living and parting could be planned but we humans has just a portion of control over it, the one that we can control is the choice that we make. The reality is many will stay in a marriage, happiness can be tolerated, Soo Ah will go back to her husband.

Dou and Soo Ah, does not have a clean start and they make terrible mistakes, however they have the courage to turn back and took the chance to step away of everything in order to have a clear view and sense of direction. They know they will loose each other, but that is the right thing to do. They gave time for their partners and children to heal before moving on and having civil relationship with the past.

This is not a drama that I can freely watch with my family, thus it explains the ratings. I also felt uncomfortable morally when I continue watch. However storyline-wise it is very engaging like reading from a book, I cannot put it away till it’s finished. The landscapes and lighting are pleasing to eye. The soundtrack are soothing and relaxing. The art direction and dialogue are deep and thoughtful.

Just imagine if everyone who feel miserable and lonely in their marriage life. Just how many people will have affair ??? In marriage, its not just about love and how miserable our life is, but loyality is one if factor of marriage... jist because she and he feel lonely amd sad from their life, it doest mean they did the right thing with cheating... I jist dont agree with this drama, I try to watch this drama coz everyone told me that if I watch this I will not opposed the idea about cheating... no..no..no at all, I still opposed it... if u want a new lover, just end ur old relationship first, so u will never in miserable and fel sorry, and dont need to hurt each other... The best ending for a mature romantic drama dealing with a troubled and loveless marriage (even with a child). Life is meant to be lived with some measure of happiness and in the end you measure the success of the relationship based on happiness (not emotional abuse or how well you can endure it). Loved it.

Lee Hyo Nov 13 2016 12:49 am Very good korean drama. Lee Sangyoon and Kim Ha Neul really did very well in their roles. Despite having to deal with subtitles, I really liked watching because every bit of their facial expressions and acting were so moving and really connected to their audience. ALL the cast were very good, its too long to mention everyone here but really good casting, from the supporting up to the minor roles, each represents someone with a different view of the story. I think the only reason it didnt get high ratings is because of the theme of the story, a lot of people might have quickly misjudged as another affair story like other drama or movies.

The crew did very well in choices of locations/setting, costumes (the coats and sweaters!). I'm hoping my girlfriend and I could get a chance to visit S. Korea in the near future.

I really like watching k-dramas with the subtitles because I can still hear their true voices, it loses a lot of the emotion and right acoustics when voices are dubbed, it would have been best if I could learn to understand Korean language.

We could either look at it on a subjective point of view or look at it objectively to be able to grasp the hidden meaning of this drama. It is such a valuable piece of drama for couples encountering this same kind of problem to reflect on. For me, there is no right or wrong here that is why the ending was such, leaving us hanging us by the neck or floating on cloud nine. Kudos to everyone here in this production. However, I still think the story could have been hyped more as there are still so many vacant spaces left to put in a little more twist or add a little flavor to spike up the ratings. Overall, I enjoyed watching it, because of Kim Ha-Neul, Lee Sang-Yoon, Choi Yeo-Jin, Jang Hee-Jin. So, I always looked forward to it every Thursday and Friday. It just filled up my two evenings with gusto.

You are probably not happy with your life. This show is about destiny. It just so happened that both of them are having problems with their spouses. That is why destiny came in, to help them because in the first place, they made a mistake marrying the wrong person. So what's wrong with that? I don't call that adultery. If Sua did not met Dou, she is still miserable with her life right now and her husband is the one committing adultery over and over again with other flight attendants. IDK WHY kbs cut this drama to 16 episodes just because of its rating (bad habit!), it is worth 20 episodes. Jealousy Incarnate began to makes me bored in the episode 15th, but not with this drama. I hope I could see another drama which has great team like this!

it's a simple kiss from Soo Ah to Do Woo in the scenes where Soo Ah after riding @ the back of the truck to show her appreciation for being there, and leaving Do Woo after her daughter was drag by Captain Park going to Seoul for the purpose of showing to him that she will not be going back to his husband. and of course the last scene to seal the deal.

maybe the ratings are not satisfying and thats the reason they cut it off to 16 episodes only.

The story was great, although the theme is about the complexity of marriage couples, because the cast was very successful to play their role. I think, we can learn a lot of things from the story, how to treat another better, how to keep the relationship well, and how to keep something that you have.

I surprised when knew that the episodes is just 16, because when I read the synopsis first, it written 20 episodes. I wish the story will be longer, but unfortunately, tomorrow will be the last episode.

waaaaaah Nov 10 2016 8:37 am ohmygod this is the best drama ever. even though infidelity is bad but with them it isn't so bad at all. imagine having a husband like captain park or a wife like hye won you wouldn't last that long either. you're the only one putting up the effort to put up your family together-- hoping it'd last while they do nothing but be a burden. it isn't so surprising that they'd fall out of love from their spouses and fall in love with each other granting that they're the total opposite of their partners. they long for love, care and etc and they found it possessed by the other so why not?

choi soo ah-- a soft hearted person, she's pure and innocent. selfless you may say but unfortunately she met a husband with a nasty attitude problem. she is a mother who is looking for nurturing and love and care.

suh do woo-- a gorgeously handsome human being. a perfect father figure minus the fact that he doesn't have a child of his own but instead took good care of his wife's child out of wedlock. but with annie's death suh do woo starts to look for a companion in which he can never see in his wife.

2 persons who were brought by fate together---malaysia, homestay, party, annie's death, ticket, iron, bench, airport, han river, sunset, late night calls, studio, old house's secret room, suh do woo's mom, funeral, cafe, jeju and love house. no matter how they try to ignore what they're feeling it is fate that is bringing them together, unexpected places and moments. it's like they were made to be together.

choi soo ah and suh do woo may not be perfect but together they fill the gap each one of them lacks. both from an unhealthy marriage and manage to break the boundaries and be together.while watching this drama there are countless of time in which i cry, be nervous for their sake, be moved, feel the pain that they're going through for loving when they're in chains and sometimes have wild butterflies in your stomach. you can't help but love the both of them

I ASSURE YOU GUYS YOU'LL NOT REGRET WATCHING THIS DRAMA. IT'S A BREATH OF FRESH AIR OF A WORLD FULL OF ROMCOM DRAMAS AND ETC. ACTORS AND ACTRESSES WERE GREAT AND THE STORY IS AWESOME SUPER AWESOME

No, she is just considerate, she doesnt want to make any decision that could hurt her daughter, the love and the strength of her life. Is she immoral when seeing someone while married? No, she is human being. She did try to save her marriage, she did run away from Seoul, from Doo Woo. Who could resist the warmth and the love from her soulmate? Who could insist on maintaining a marriage when her husband doesnt want to see her, to talk to her and doesnt care about her child's well-being? I hope Soo Ah be strong and live happily.

It's too wrong for me. I know her husband is not perfect and all but that doesn't mean she can see other man too. Better if she asked for divorce. Her personality is too weak and so coward. It's good that it has only 16 episodes.

Diana Nov 03 2016 11:35 pm The story subject matter is not an interest to the growing young viewers who might prefer something fantasy-like cute and sweet with fast pace. Perhaps this explains the rating.

However in other demographics, this might be appealing as there are not many stories are crafted like these. Of how to not break a friendship over love, surreal maybe but this story made it believable. Outstanding scenes acted of Mijin and Soo Ah and also of Soo Ah and Hae Won. Any married women would love to slap the other women but usually does not have the guts to do so. It is somewhat an elegance of handling the subject matter.

Wrong sometimes is right in one scenario, in other matter, lying for all the right reasons is wrong no matter how right you might be. The story is well crafted but it seems Annie case is forgotten at the moment. Don't really know how it binds all characters together.

I had expected the storyline to revolve around the portrayal of the darkness of extra-marital affairs. Usually when we speak of extra-marital affairs, or well "love affairs" people tend to view the situation from the perspective of the spouses whose husband or wife is betraying. So to say; the cruelty of cheating on someone who you had promised to share the burdens, happiness and sadness of life with, but this drama in a difference to most other Korean drama series didn't. In fact, it gives you an insight into the perspective of those who betray the spouses they have married. It provides some unbiased perspectives, showing you both sides of the story rather than solely the side of the pitiful husband or wife who was cheated on. I think it gives a lot of live-lessons about marriage. The consequences of extra-marital affairs, the results of having told a lie, the regrets of not caring about something until it's disappeared, the sadness of losing someone dear to you, the feeling of not having married out of love (I think that is a circumstance that arises, not sure though since the drama has yet to end) and so on.

Not to mention; the cast. Oh my goodness, the cast. THE CAST. Lee Sang Yoon and Shin Sung Rok. Two outstanding actors who has shown their abilities to portray realistic emotions and actions in many other roles. For some reason I just want to kill Park Jin Suk and many other characters in this drama, which for me proves the realism of their acting. The chemistry created between the 2 main characters. God, I could be consumed by that love if not for my awareness that it's fictional.

But must watch the drama then understand the whole story. I myself is really falling in love with this drama. It describes so real about human feeling. Feel the pain of cannot be together, feel missing when cannot see each other, feel the fear if ppl know abt the feeling.. They can bring the character so well.. :)

The actors played their roles very realistic.

Pammo Oct 28 2016 5:03 am Another great episode (#11). Have to comment because this drama far exceeds any Korean romance drama made. All the elements of blind love, devotional love, betrayal, and desire for real love are there. The chemistry between the two leads is just mind blowing. The music, the music is just so in sync with the scenes. When I re-watch the drama I just close my eyes and listen to the music. This is the third time I have felt this way about a recent romantic drama. First , Valid Love- which became an Invalid Love - awful ending; Second, My Love Eun Dong (sp) which completely went off track in the last episode. It is hopeful that these writers are not afraid to come to a mature, realistic, and satisfying ending and not side step in attempts to appease moralist. Everybody doesn't have to be happy or miraculously reformed effect that seems to be the current trend. Love is real and the paths it takes you may not be condoned by everyone. Hopefully there will continue to be boldness in their writing and this drama becomes an all time classic - not a waste of 16 hours of viewers time.

I guess the rating is low because most viewers still cannot accept the cheating side of the stories. Actually this drama is out of the usual Korean drama - the sweet love stories.. it really brings out the reality of present world. in this Drama, we see two lonely people who had married the wrong person and had to solve family problem themselves..hence its only takes time that such relationship will happen. The two spouses were either too busy with their own life or just too hungry for power that neglected them. So even if they do not meet each other, the marriage will not last.

I like Lee Sang yoon - good actor - his acting -facial expression - really can speak millions of words.. gain a lot of sympathy from viewers about his life..

anyway looking forward to the next episode, though I know it will be roller coaster relationship for both and hope in the end they will be together...

There is huge possibility that this could happen line in real life but since it just ep 7 which i had seen and it makes me look forward to the rest for the series to watch them.

The chemistry between Soo Ah and Seo Do is so real that you could feel their emotions flowing between each other.

Some might find it elicit love affair but there is something behind it the makes you curious why do they have to plunge into that situation.

Some may deny and suppress their feelings as it will be taboo by human law or morality. Its difficult to be in this situation. Plot is getting deeper each episode. Keep watching it as love unfolds.

However, this is a masterpiece so far. Side stories are complicated and it is a little difficult to follow sometimes. I find that I must pay attention to every conversation and every detail in this story to understand relationships. A mature story that is engaging -- not just watered down puppy love.

Andrea Oct 06 2016 2:00 am So basically, Choi Soo-A's husband Captain Park and her bestfriend Song Minji are exes. Captain Park forcing his wife and child to live w/ his mother for me turned to be a strategy so he can freely do whatever he wants with his ex (which I think is that their affair is still ongoing). It also explains why the Minji moved to a flat near Soo-a & Captain Park. If my observation turns out right then it's gonna be painful for Soo-A once she learns about this. But then,... she's already inlove to Seo Dowoo. I just hope this will have a happy ending. Fighting Lee Sangyoon! :)

I really like Do-woo's character portrayal and how he's far from the type to exploit a woman who's vulnerable or confused about her feelings.

I want them to be together but in the right way and for all the right reasons. Can anything be called 'right' in this picture? Not sure. I've never really liked watching k-dramas that hint at infidelity (except for Secret Love Affair which was great lol) but I find myself invested in this particular drama because of the awesome acting and depiction of the two main leads.

I am not condoning people who are married to have affairs or about to have one but the story is so unique and true that you got to believe that there is someone there that is connected to you with a red string, and fated to be together. I have not encountered such yet but as Choi Soo put it..."like a breath of fresh air". She feels like that with him, it feels as though she is looking at a beautiful view, a sunrise/sunset, taking short refreshing walks and giving her the feeling that all her troubles and worries are gone. Both sad and scary...so sad since she wants it so bad but can't have it and scary cos she is married and doesn't want to cause any problems to both families. Having to put up with the demands of work, bringing up her child, managing an unfeeling husband, house duties, trying to get along with in-laws can be really really stressful. The story is getting interesting and I am wondering where it will lead. I do hope that the writer, LSY...will give us something that we will remember this drama as the one "breath of fresh air" in our lives. Good acting by KHN and Lee Sang Yoon (one of my fave actors, watched Twenty Again, Liar Game and Angel Eyes).

In fact, I've got a lot of Asian friends. So all's cool. I do read the synopsis then tie it with the title. If it doesn't make sense, I don't fret or lose sleep. I check out the celebs starring in it, if I like them it's cool, if not I move on, no harm no foul. I just found humour in the drama titles I've been seeing recently. I didn't say all kdrama titles are stupid. Anyway, maybe try not to take what you read seriously eh?

That's how I roll, my choice dude so chillax. I do read the synopsis to see if the title matches what the drama's about. I don't lose sleep if I do find the title a bit off, doesn't make sense or sound totally stupid. Btw I like Shin Sung Rok, good actor , seen all his dramas, that's why I checked this drama out.

Geez some people don't know how to lighten up. It's just a drama, no need to fret if I don't like the title. To each their own, peace!

Gotta admit though sometimes when I see titles that sound stupid, I kinda get put off thinking heck! if the writer can't come up w/ a title that makes sense & doesn't sound stupid, that gives me a negative first impression. Like that Girl Who Wears Earrings, I was like what's next "Guy Who Wears Plugs"? However, if the leads are celebs I like then I give it a go. Yeah, with the dramas out right now like My Mind's Flower Rain, I read the synopsis & I was like the title's so far off. Someone's mind must be trippin' on some serious flower rain (acid) hahaha jk

irish Sep 29 2016 5:46 pm this drama has a good vibe! for first yeah i'm not sure about the plot story, but after i watched eps 1 i hooked up! this is soooo goood. the acting seems really natural, i hope the writer keep the good plot for the entire eps, and to remind this OTWttA will be to face with Lee minho Jun jihyun's drama, i'm really wprried about the lack of the rating later :(

I want to see what the leads do about their obvious feelings for one another and how we as an audience react to whatever happens. The female lead's husband already has me wanting her to move on and the male lead's wife isn't making it any better. Solid drama.

I feel curious on every single episode for this, all the main characters lead this drama to be more complicated. Just finished to watch 3rd episode, and i feel so damn for Soo Ah and Doh Woo. It won't be easy to face the truth, bcs they already married. Hopeful there would be more interesting for 4th episode tonight.

There's a drama right now called "Woman with a Suitcase" and this one's "On the way to the Airport", what's next "Onboard an Airplane" or "Finding the Man with the Duffle Bag?" hahaha Anyway, it seems writers of dramas targeting older audience seems to be running out of original ideas, they appear to be recycling old storylines just changing bits & pieces here & there.

This is how you can tell that "On the Way to the Airport" is a masterpiece. All I can wish to the crew is that they continue to show in the remaining 18 episodes the same perfection that they showed in the first ones.

mei Sep 24 2016 11:23 am this remain me of hirugao (Japanese dorama) but in a sweet way. i hope its end up better than hirugao (well, its not a bad ending but yeah its a realistic). i know this kind of drama won't fit well with korean but i believe director kim will manage it well and Kim haneul and lee sang yoon chemistry is awesome. Kim haneul and choi yeo jin oenni are so pretty (body goal haha...).

So far I've did not see play Kim Ha-Neul (maybe I just seemed "ordinary" :)), but now it catch up - is excellent. Lee Sang-Yoon has long been among my most favorite and now once again did not disappoint - excellence, the embodiment of this likeable character. His beautiful daughter, even if only for a short episode starred Park Seo-Yeon really well and I loved it right the first time - I hope that I'd see in further drama - is very sweet and nice. This drama is very well processed in all aspects, the overhead, stage, art and make-up - everything fits well and creates an excellent whole. Thank Korean filmmakers, actors and creators for all their masterliness - and not just for this the drama, ktrerý hope that it will continue on this excellent level. I look forward to the next episodes .
