Sola ???❤️ Jun 17 2023 8:31 am I just watched Empress Ki and apart from the main actor, Jin was simply Amazing I rewatched his part several times. So cool, rarely smiled (when he tried, at the Empress, it was so heart catching)? and so knowledgeable.

Love learning from period Korean dramas. Almost run of them on Netflix Uk. Been repeating now. And E.Ki is on my list of Classics for lifetime re-runs. Would definitely love to see more of Jin now 45yo in 2023, but there’s only one drama we have if him in Uk Netflix.

Someone above mentioned Golden something.. hope to find that?

If you like to watch his performance, I recommend watching "Golden Pouch", it is a slow burn heartfelt drama series that will make you laugh and cry. While portraying the male lead character Dr. Han Seok Hoon (Actor Jin Yi Han/Kim Ji Han) in "Golden Pouch", you will be mesmerized with his amazing onscreen chemistry with his leading lady Geum Seol Hwa (portrayed by actress Ryu Hyo Young/Jung Woo-Yeon). The best onscreen chemistry and unrivaled. He is simply the best actor that can express different emotions (such as sadness, dislikes, pain, happiness and love) with his intense facial expressions.

He started off as his uncle’s sidekick and has developed into a master war strategist. His completely non expressive face - which, incidentally, is pretty sublime with those beautiful eyes - and his quiet, deep voice, have really made him the stand out actor of this series for me. As soon as I’ve finished watching this, I’ll be checking out his acting bio to see him in more series and films.

In the first part of Empress ki serial, we would not have even got a hint that he will have such a part. But later he is gradually becoming the mystery of the serial. We begin to wonder what that expression could be on that silent face! Is it pro or con for Ki? At the end, when the crying scene came, even we were crying.

Quantum Nurse Apr 27 2023 8:32 am It is worth noted that Actor Jin Yi Han really immerses himself in his role as a villain Oh Man Ok and he lost so much weight , 11 Kgs, for his role to look more "sinister" in "Oasis (2023)". Additionally his deep resonant voice and intense different facial expressions show he is an excellent actor and is able to deliver his thorough and fine performance. Love his swagger as always.

I remember watching "Empress KI" and his character Warrior/Teacher/Scholar TalTal steals the show. I also enjoy watching slow-burn heartwarming "Golden Pouch" drama series. His on-screen chemistry with his leading lady character in "Golden Pouch" is awesome. Wish him all the best.

He dragged my attention from beginning, even I couldn’t assign him from the start, is he good or bad? the further the show, the more I liked him. I'm on episode 40 now and Taltal is my absolute favorite character. He is so cool, always calm, his deep voice, his gaze.. just wau. ( somehow he remains me on Yancha in Arthdal chronicles) ❤️ I still don’t know how the show will end, but Taltal and Ki are extraordinary couple ?

His chemistry with her was much stronger and more beautiful than the king and emperor - they are good actors too but Taltal and Seung yang was really the best together and they had the same way of thinking

Taltal gave his all and sacrificed his whole being for her and the people. He mustve survived the battle and saved by a monk or someone and come back

It was so sad that Wang yu and Maha died but it crushed my heart so badly when Taltal's death message comes to the palace! why! no!

Please bring Taltal back as a war survivor - we all miss him and long for him!

It would have been great if there was a part in the series that Taltal showed Seung Nyang his feelings if there is.. I just hate that he just disappeared in the series as someone who died in the war. As everyone has said, the cast was brilliant and so believable. Jin Yi Han took my breath away with his brooding looks and strong voice. The three-sided love story between the three main characters was spell-binding. It irritated me that it took so long for Wang Yu to find out that the young emperor-elect was her own son. I loved this story and it was very comparable to the Turkish series of 'Ertugrul - Resurrection' I watched last year. Please keep them coming. I also feel sorry for the actors to have to go through the absolute COLD when filming at Hengdian World Studios (which place is so awesome). We in Australia don't suffer cold like that so it can be difficult to comprehend.

I am so disappointed that he did not win the Excellence Award, Actor in a Soap Opera in 2017 MBC Drama Awards for "Golden Pouch". He conveys all different dimensions of emotions from an arrogant genius cardio thoracic surgeon (Dr. Han Seok Hoon), to a man that loses his memory, to a man that feels the pain of loving Miss Geum Seol Hwa (the love of his life), to a man that almost loses Miss Geum Seol Hwa to heart failure. Actor Jin Yi Han/Kim Ji Han is a true method actor of our time. Salute to Kim Dae-jin, the director and also to Lee Hye-sun, the writer of "Golden Pouch", it is a beautiful story. I hope MBC would make "Golden Pouch" season II to conclude the story.

Dawn May 30 2014 8:11 am OMGoodness, I just finished watching you in Empress Ki and now I get to see you in A New Leaf, which I caught my 1st episode last night....didn't even know it was on, and I hope that I haven't been overlooking it, because I was so focused on Empress Ki. Either way, if I've missed a month of shows, I'm sure I can find full episodes of it somewhere out on the worldwide web.

I just want to say that I am a new fan because of Empress Ki.....I loved Tal Tal, and thought you did a fantastic job as the character. I returned every Monday and Tuesday to watch the drama because of you....you eyes just took me away. Of course the other cast members were great too...but I really loved, and I do mean loved your deep voice and piercing eyes. The brillance of the character was soooooo good. I almost thought at moments, that the character Tal Tal would throw his heart in the pot for Nyang....secretly, I think Tal Tal was in love with the character Nyang to have done so much to help her....it would have been a nicer ending if Tal Tal could have continued to be with the Empress even after the Emperor passed away (heartbreaking scene)....and rode off to the North.

Anyways, I look forward to seeing this new drama and I wish you continued success in your acting career, keep on choicing great roles and many blessing in you off-screen life.

Characters, Sungnyang, Wang Yu, Tal Tal, Musong, Kolta (the Creep), LOL I absolutely loved it!!! This drama had me up til all hours of the night trying to finish all 51 episodes as quickly as I could, while savoring every second of it. So much heartbreak and hope. Okay let me break it down. Empress Ki - outstanding dramatical work by this actress and I'v been looking up other stuff she's done, can't wait to see her other works. Character Tal Tal - can you say "YUMMY'!!! WOW WHAT A MAN. HIs restraint, self control, INTELLIGENCE, etc. is a very sexy character to any woman. I respected the integrity of these characters the most, Empress Ki , Wang Yu and Tal Tal the most. Wang Yu, his integrity and heart. The Emperor, his unfailing love, his honesty, his persistence - every woman wants someone who won't quite and loves so completely and held nothing back. I would love to name each and every cast member, because this was a perfect mix of talent. YOU WERE ALL INCREDIBLE - YOU SHOULD ALL BE PROUD OF THE WORK YOU DID ON EMPRESS KI, YOU ALL DESERVE AWARDS FOR YOUR TALENT! !!! I HAVE A HUGE CRUSH ON JIN-LEE HAN AND CAN'T WAIT TO SEE SOME OF YOUR OTHER WORK.

He is under-rated at this time. He also has a seductive voice, and a way that would make a women melt in his arms, not to mention he has kissable lips!!! Sorry had to say it. I would love to see Jin Lee-Han come to Hollywood, CA U.S.!!! I hope he would at least think about it.

I keep going back to watch it just because I think they were so cute when they were arguing. And the scene at the police station, when she accused him of statutory rape was hella funny! Love them both! Dae-Bok couple is my fave! I prefer Daehan over Ryu-Jin in A thousand Kisses!
