Pammo Nov 15 2018 8:32 am I have watched many K drama and C dramas since 2013. As a matter of fact, I am an addict watching as many as 10 different dramas daily. I have to comment that this actor has caught my attention in My Only One. He is so talented that his performance is overwhelming compared to the quality of the drama. There are very few younger actors that even compare - maybe Ji Sung and Jang Hyuk and Yoo Ah In. I am so glad he has taken on this project and hopefully he will continue in the area of TV dramas so that he will get the recognition and hopefully awards that become such a talented actor. I now have a new project - tracing his works that I have somehow missed and watching as many as I can.

jane Jan 11 2015 11:54 am lee, in drama emperor of the sea goong book was a slave who had a very hard life he had so much pain,anger and hatred inside and his face showed it very well .by the time he heals and anger and hatred gets replaced with sense of responsibility and desire to help people who had a similar past and his facial expression changes due to his change of feelings. i think he did a veeeeeeeery great job. i watched the drama about 9 years ago and still i think it was the best drama ive watched and the best actor ive known. i rewatched it more than ten times.

Lee Aug 22 2014 10:53 am from watching "emperor of the seas", it looks to me like he just had like one facial expression throughout most of the series (sad and weary). personally, i found this a little annoying and irritating. and i think, for me, this reduced my ability to connect with him as the lead character in "emperor of the seas".

even though the secondary lead (song il gook) was fairly ruthless and killed people mercilessly throughout the series, i actually liked and connected with him more on a human level.

fahimeh Mar 05 2014 11:55 am Since emperor of the sea I know and love you! a great actor that changed my mind about korean tv series. now I know you just take role in masterpieces. the movie itself tought me lots of things and jang bugo is my hero a man who had the opportunity to follow evil fate and become a sinful person but he didnt obey that fate unless he died but he is alive and victorous. each time I replay emperor of the sea and watch your sences ,my mom says I am gonna report his wife that my daughter is your rival!
