chloe77 The best korean drama so far.. I've been tied with IRIS for soo many years, but then this White Christmas becomes my ultimate favourite one.. ^^ I really love those characters and my favourite one is Park Moo Yul, he is rather complex.. X) . And the second one is Choi Chi Hoon. Who can deny his coolness?? Kk..kk..

But some moment got me confused like how did the doctor escape and what really happened with the teacher? And most importantly is what kind of human they will become after all of this. *geez, we really need sec seasond or at least special episode to uncover all of this.. ><

neko_chan one of the best drama which I have watched so far. Alhough there were times when it was too too unrealistic( if we take into consideration what the mass can do against one person but nevertheless it really appeals to emotions and impacts your thinking) and some events could be predicted but in overall it was full of suspanse and I really wanted to know what will happen next.

At some moments I felt like it was really scary and creepy because it really starts to bother you and you are thinking - what I would do in this situation. do I hvae a monster inside me? well, I think that every one of us has its own devil and this drama shows it in every second. The music only increased this feeling and the atmosphere.

Every character was portrayted in an awesome way but my favourite one is Kang Mireu. I really enjoy watching Kim Woo Bin in different roles and watching his skills. It can be seen that from drama to drama he improves a lot. Then it will be Choi Chi Hoon. but all actors did a great job to show us the complicated and twisted human psychiqe.

Deena I can just say ,,, THE BesT of thr BEST ,,, the one and only drama Omg I loved ji hoon the best ,,, he's sooo good And every character is suit the actor ,, i can just say i believed every second in this drama

One more thing ,,, i learned so much thing from this ,,,, Every one of us have a devil inside him ,, you can kill him or just let him destroy you ,,,,,,, I am gonna watch this million times

cristina I saw this drama countless times. 10 out of 10. But you know what? I want to see a second season ... I want to see what happens with those seven students, what about their relationship... after the death of the doctor. "I won!" - What happens after?

Maria86 I love this drama! This is the second time watching it. The acting and plot is amazing. My favorite character were Choi Chi-hun and Kang Mireu.

SPOILERS: I like the ending. I felt it was inevitable. They had to kill him otherwise he would have continued to torture them. He mentioned that he could have always plead insanity, so I don't think he would have been killed. They felt that eventually if they let him live he would come back to finish each and every "experiment" with them.

In a way he did win because they did, for a moment, give in to the monster inside them. I believe that this drama illustrates monsters are made rather than born, and that everyone does have the potential to become a murderer given the right stimulus/threat/situation.

However during the discussion in the cafeteria, Park Moo-yul mentioned that in the end criminals should still be held responsible because everyone has a choice. Over and over again the kids made the right choices at the crucial times even though there was overwhelming temptation to give in.

So in the end although they recognize the monsters within themselves I don't think they will become monsters. They can always choose not to. And now that the doctor is dead, they won't have anyone pushing them off the edge any more. Of course no one knows what will happen in the future, something could always happen to set it off. That's why the drama is realistic, because it leaves the ending open and thoughtful.

Anyway great drama!! Just a minor annoyance. The subs I read and some summaries keep referring to Kim Yohan as a "psychologist". He is not a psychologist, he is a psychiatrist!! The kind of questioning he was doing was a psychiatrist's role, a psychologist is something different, they are not doctors!!

Dede I loved this drama. Where, where can you see to much future talent on one show. Every single one of these actors is so talented that their future is secure. Haven t seen a drama yet that has so much up and coming talent on one screen. Keep it up guys.

emanon loved the drama. kind of a rookie cast, but the acting was pure grace. everything about it was beautiful and spine-chilling. many tears shed from me because of the top-notch acting. plot went smoothly. i felt as if i was a part of the whole story-line. it absolutely captured me.

i liked the ending though; usually, the bad guy dies, and kim yohan was the bad guy, am i right? in spite of the common perception of his character, i don't believe he was the total criminal within the plot. the kids were. he helped them to bring out the monsters inside of them; he didn't create their monsters. i'm saying this because i think the children each had their own monsters hidden inside of them due to the trauma experienced from before. they held tiny, baby-like monsters inside, and through kim yohan, they grew up to witness the 'monster-in-chief' (kim yohan). From then on, the beastly children grew out of their bodies and left them. the kids became human again.

perhaps yohan could have had the idea to experiment them for this purpose. perhaps that's why he said "i won," at the end; because of his tests on those kids, they separated from the monsters. he showed them what they should never become.

Nhim totally in love with this drama.. watched it twice and gonna re-watch it again :X

Rin If anyone's interested, there's a similarish Taiwanese drama called Bump Off Lover that's REALLY dark. I think in some way it's darker than this drama lol. But this drama is just damn. & that ending though... any chance of a season 2? =/ probably not eh.

Suzan I actually... loved the ending. So many seems to be disappointed and I cant say that I agree. In the first episodes there is always a voice over who says "this is the story where I became a monster to defeat a monster". They did that monstrous act to defeat the monster, does that make them monsters? No. What they did, was it justified? Yet again, no.

It was known from the start of the first episode that they will become monsters, but then they will choose to continue to be one. Which I dont think they will, because of what they went through and how they ended up trusting and supporting each other.

Maryam i recently jst watched the drama too....i was disappointed by the ending as well...however after much thought i came to realize that just because they killed him doesn't mean they became monsters. i think it was a natural course of action. if the psycho lived then he would have attacked them again and probably he would have murdered someone else. the death of the psycho kind of signals the drama to an end. just because they murdered him doesn't mean they became monsters...they had good reason to, and plus its not like they will go ahead and kill other people. in my opinion everyone already has a monster in them and sometimes due to some unfortunate events it comes alive, and it can appear in different ways, not always as a murderer...i think the writer or the director ended the drama this way so that the audience can decide because again it is related to psychology and every one has their own opinion on it....even then it was probably one of my most favorite drama's i have never felt so much adrenaline rush! i hope to see more of these genre's with my very favorite Kim Woo Bin...Saranghae Oppa! :D

Maria Does anyone know any similar dramas? I watched Looking for Dorothy and Devil, but this is way cooler. Why don't they make more dramas like this? How many more romantic comedies with the same core plot do we really need?

nories what kind of movie is this..? thats all....

geunyang i just finished watching this movie last time ago. hmm... why i feel disappointed about this?? i don't like about the ending. really disappointed...

first i watched 1st episode, wow this was great movie. great movie of psychology learning while i take psychology major too. i never stop watched this movie till the end. each of episodes always made me curious and full of hope about the processes and good result. but...

i can say that this movie is a little bit not educated. how the students become monsters like that? i hoped that the psycho is false. the monster is not borned. but, if those students be angry and become monster and want to kill that psycho, so, of course the psycho won! really disappointed... :(

oreo sung joon, sung hyun.. before watch it i'm already fall in love with the casts

nightmare such an awesome drama. make me thinking about more thing of real life.

taeminuna I love this drama so muchhh and lee soo hyuk too.. The plot it's amazing and back song completely makes the drama being dramatic.. Amazing setting, anyone knows what's building is use for school building??

A FANTASTIC SHOW!!! I admittedly only started watching this b/c of Jung Suk Won, but from episode one til the end I was hooked! The story was so brilliantly engaging & felt like I had watched a much longer drama with the amount of plot & character development that they were able to fit into 8 episodes. I've seen much longer dramas never achieve what White Christmas did with double & triple the amount of time. The show was dark & nail-biting, and has become an instant favorite of mine thanks to its perfect cast & flawless conclusion.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEEK THIS SHOW OUT! You will not regret it!

put one of my fav dramas!!! :-D their voice are just ugh

Elena who know all drama songs\soundtracks\osts?

Jennie This a really special drama that cannot be compared to other dramas! I really liked it and was hooked until I had seen all of the episodes. I really enjoyed this show much to Baek Sung Hyun (one my favorite actors) and I'm glad to see his amazing progress since he played in Stairway to Heaven:) I hope to see more dramas like this one and of course more of all of the actors cause they really did a great job on this one!

Yo Joe The music tracks on this series is killer!!! Amazing sounds. Anyone else feeling this too?

Koreanrain This drama is 8 episodes for a very good reason. The reason being is because it only needs 8 episodes to tell its story. Unlike dramas that are 16 to 32 episodes long, this drama does not lose tension or fade away from the plot like other dramas do. The fact that this drama is able to create an awe-inspiring effect on viewers in only 8 episodes is a feat on its own. This drama accomplishes more in 8 episodes than any other drama I have watched, whether its a 16,20 or 32 episode drama. In fact, the last 20 minutes of this drama in the final episode was the greatest build up to an ending in any drama I've seen. This drama keeps you going right to the last seconds. Watch this drama and your view will be forever changed. Trust me :)

Sa Rang Hae It seems like this drama is very interesting. I prefer this drama should be episode 16 or m0re. Its only epis0de 8. Maybe if this drama is 16 epis0des 0r m0re, I'm gonna get a c0py..

Y This drama was amazing! One of the best korean ones I saw. Many people write it's "horror-movie" like. But that's totally not true! It can be scary but only because you start to wonder what people are able to do. I really love the plot!^^ Are monsters created or being born as one?

Btw, anyone knows where can I find this music from opening? Songs in this drama is also awesome!!

Natalia911 This is the greatest dorama I've watched during last half a year, no, no, no, it's really amazing dorama!!! There are so many handsome, young and talented actors, so I am looking for another films with their participating, can anybody help me? I liked Kim Hyun-Joong (he is the most troublesome to search on the Internet, his name is the same with another very famous Korean actor, and all the information is about the most popular one) and Lee Soo-Hyuk, his low voice went me nuts =) I wait for the 5th part, let it be a bit quicker!

lia i thought one of the guys in the poster was beast's hyunseung....and other beast members too xD

jSter you can watch this at dramacrazy.net, ep 1 - 4 with eng subs. subgroup is ffsubs.com.

Minyoung YYYYYYYYYYay! Lee Soo Hyuk!!!!!! <3 Does anyone know if he dies?

dramalover I accidently found this drama while flipping though the channels during spring break and i think i ended up watching ep 3. I was instantly intrigued and I really want to watch ep 1 and 2 (the ones I missed) but I can't find this drama ANYWHERE. Does anyone know where I can watch this? Thank you so much!

I watched Jungle Fish 2 with Hong Jong Hyun and I LOVED it. I can't wait to watch White Christmas ^^

rea Omg, majority of them are models. Interesting. I'll watch it on my free time!

Ki "White Christmas" is definitely the most unique drama on air right in Korea. The soundtrack plays a heavy part in this drama and for myself I really like it. Practically all the songs from my CD collection! Mercury Rev, the Pixies, what not. I don't watch every episode (my wife does), but while she watches it I listen to the soundtrack :)

whitechristmashwaiting just loving the drama on ep2 now expecting more its so interesting but its bad that the drama goes on kbsword only 1 a week on sunday but dying to see ep3 i have watched jungle fish 2 but this is more interesting and the boys are really handsome espiacilly HONG JONG HYUN :] just loving it people this is a must watch drama!
