Kim Sabu was a famous surgeon with the nickname of "Hand of God." He suddenly disappeared and nobody knew exactly why. Kim Sabu is known as Teacher Kim and he calls himself the Romantic Doctor. He enjoys his life in seclusion.
Kang Dong-Ju became a doctor to win somebody over and Yoon Seo-Jung become a doctor to be recognized by somebody. After they meet Kim Sabu, they learn about life values and comfort from love.
Notes
- "Dr. Romantic" takes over the SBS Monday & Tuesday 22:00 time slot previously occupied by "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" and will be replaced by "Defendant" on January 23, 2017.
- Lim Soo-Jung was first offered the lead female role, but declined.
- First script reading took place September 13, 2016 at SBS Ilsan Production Studios in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
- Ep.15 will air Tuesday, December 17, 2016 instead of its originally scheduled Monday, December 16, 2016 to allow the airing of the annual end-of-the-year music program "SBS Gayo Daejeon."
