I've been watching kdramas to relieve my stress, I've seen how most of the actors has similarities but this guy is different, all thru out of Still 17 he made my heart happy and young. I never thought I would smile everytime he'll smile and laugh, amazed on how fast his tears will show. This guy deserves to have the best awards Korea could give. I wish him well and his birthday is coming!

MEJONS Sep 23 2021 3:22 pm I love other k-actors but Yang Sejong made me leave a comment here. He is the type that you don't wanna share with others but at the same time you want to let other people give him the recognition he deserves. I swear, Yang Sejong can portray every role given to him, he can play a killer role, soft boy, patriotic soldier, a tsundere, and etc. His acting skills are not limited on a certain role unlike other famous actors out there, this guy has innate talent and versatility in him. My favorite is Duel, he slayed all of his 3 roles despite the fact that he had that project on his 2nd year in the industry. Talk about being labeled as a rookie monster. The title isn't given for nothing. I hope he Doctor Romantic Season 3 would be his comeback drama from the military, all my hopes are up!!

He is my ultimate favorite actor and I love him so much. I knew him from thirteen but thirty and I immediately fell in love with him, with everything about him. His acting skills, his voice, his looks and his drama choices! He knows how to choose the characters that suit him. He is magnificent in so many things. I am kinda still shocked that he didn’t win any award for his role as Hwi in ( My county: the new age ) !! His acting there made me shed gallons of tears lol but for real he deserves all the best my man. I am so proud of him and he deserves every award he got. Much love and appreciation towards you and I miss you so much, can’t wait to see him again when he finishes his military service. Please support our amazing SeJong., he deserves more attention and appreciation.

Joanna Ren Aug 20 2021 3:53 am He’s absolutely soul crashing actor. He plays so naturally that I don’t feel like watching series. Even his jokes are so surprisingly natural for the screen and I can’t stop thinking that probably he just made them on spot without thinking that they are out of the script.

To me and many people in Europe and other western countries Se-Jong is undoubtedly, one of the best South Korean actors. We can’t wait to see more work from this essentially creative, wonderful and impressive young talent.

I shouldn’t forget to mention that he keeps something mysterious around his personality and for some unknown reason all his co-actors fall in love with him. He’s dearly loved by many!

Only watching still 17 now and the scene where Seo ri reads his letter and Yang Se Jong is actually the one reading the letter out loud, it's sooo good! You can feel the sadness in his voice. His voice is even cracking while he is saying "sorry". It's really hard to express a character's feelings in voice overs. But he was able to do it. He's so good!!!! Can't wait for your next project!! Stay healthy in the military and come back even stronger!

Ive seen him in temperature of love and he was outsatnding in that drama too; this brother cant miss. He chooses to be part of such amazing dramas that suit him and thats a skill in itself ; keep it up. Looking forward to watching his other hit kdrama; "My Country; the new age" which ive been wanting to watch for a while now (hopefully i can watch it before the end of the year)

I have watched all dramas except the Duel, he can describe his roles play throughout his eyes, smile, gestures. His face is so handsome and cool and tender, his smile can warm your heart, his voice can calm you down. Oh he is the best actors at his age. Love him so much and wish him happy and healthy. It seems that he takes acting seriously as a craft. Not to mention that he is also good looking. His eyes are really tantalizing and his smile so captivating. His voice is also unique.

He seems very genuine too and childlike just as how I saw him in Coffee Friends.

I wish that he continue to have a flourishing career. He is indeed one of my oppas now among Kdrama actors aside from Yoo Seung Ho and Seol Junghwan.

My Country is an epic drama and all did a great job, but Se Jong was the most special IMO. His future is very bright and I can't wait for his next project, I hope he doesn't make us wait too long since I know he is very picky as to what he will do next which is a good thing.

Saori Dec 14 2019 12:16 pm I first saw Sejong in Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim, and noticed at once that he was special. Then I saw Duel a few months later, where he plays 2 antagonist clones. His acting was filled with such passion, emotion and cleverness that he blew me away. I thought he was so insanely talented that he was probably the best acting discovery of the last 10 years in Korea. He confirmed it with Temperature of Love, with his delicate and sensitive acting. I also loved him in 30 but 17, where he is so different once again. Now I'm so glad he took the role of Seo Hwi in My Country. The drama itself is a masterpiece, and all actors are great in it. But Yang Sejong shines above all of them, he is the soul of the drama. During those 16 episodes, his acting is so deep and detailed. It is filled with such complex emotions. Hwi's transformation throughout the drama is fascinating and heartbreaking, and he makes us feel every step of it. Yang Sejong's acting is truly a work of art. I can't wait to see what he'll do next, since I know he choses his projects carefully. In the meantime, I'll probably watch Duel and My Country again.

His role in My Country absolutely broke my heart in the best way. Super talented actor and really drew me into every one of his roles... can't wait to see him in more works. He's so handsome too!

And he's the only actor make me watching historical drama ( since his dramas still a few like WHY?? so I need to see all his works) Yes, My Country is so good. All the male actors play great and I'm so proud of Se-jong in his role here he plays GREAT as always. Jen Jul 27 2019 12:11 am Wow, Se-Jong is seriously one of the best Korean actors I've come across. I was so shocked to see how relatively little works he's starred in, considering how talented he is. Nowadays many Kdramas, especially romcoms, have become saturated because of their overwhelming abundance, so their success primarily relies on its actors and actresses. "Still 17" being a rather simple plot at face value, manages to do great and even more because of its cast and especially because of Se-Jong. His performance was just so real and raw. He perfectly embodies his role. Mr.Gong in "Still 17" is a reserved, quiet man who finds difficulty in expressing his emotions and Se-Jong represents this in the utmost way possible, down to his mannerisms. I'm a little embarrassed after typing this all out, as it seems to be more of an analysis essay than a comment, but I just found myself so enamored by his talentry. I'm seriously so excited to check out more of his works, and I encourage others as well! Especially "Still 17"! Se-Jong, fighting!

I didn't know that 30 but 17 was such a good and entertaining drama. Now i am a fan of him. He is a very great actor. After watching Temperature Of Love and Duel i realised he is a versatile actor. He really can do any roles especially the 3 different characters roles in Duel. I will start Dr Romantic and Saimdang just for him soon. Wish he will get more good drama in the future. His portrayal of the characters he was given was absolutely amazing and the whole drama is one of the best ones I've ever seen out there. There might not be the romance you're looking for, but it will really really be an emotional rollercoaster for so many other reasons. I wrongly judged it the first time by watching only the first episode and thinking it wasn't worth continuing, but the second time I gave it a go...oh man, I assure you by episode 4 you'll be glued to the screen.

He's now my fav actor, so yeeeah

He is such a great actor! When I watch him in interviews he seems so quiet and reserved, yet through his acting he can display such a wide array of emotion and personality, it's amazing! Especially in Duel, he seamlessly pulled off three separate characters and breathed life into each of them. I could honestly write forever about his acting, I love seeing him execute his craft~ I hope to see him in movies and even more lead roles in the future!

I noticed him already but he didnt shine that much for he is not the lead character and his role there didnt seemed to be so friendly because i remember that he didnt smile .. i ended up watching TOL when i was following seo Hyun-jin and then... DAEBAK! His acting was improve when he played in Saimdang. I realized that he can be great actor someday. At first I like it because his face is handsome and also cute. But after watching RDTK and continued with Saimdang Lights diary. Wow..his acting riveting and also good. Successfully steal my attention coupled with watching the drama Duel increasingly makes my heart tremble, i love with his strong character in the drama. Next month Temperature of Love immediately aired, im really excited. I've been waiting for him since last June. Sejong aaa this is your chance to grow even more though you're a newcomer actor. At first, I don't believe that he is a rookie actor because his talent is beyond of my expectation. I watch him in romantic dr but don't really put my attention on him, but his acting in duel make me go to here and write how amazing his talent is. I believe someday he'll be an amazing actor. He deserve an award and recognition by public for his talent.

ania Jul 31 2017 6:04 am First saw him in teacher kim and fell in love instantly, he's acting like a jerk at the drama but really impossible to hate him, because he's that lovely :)) he act really well and it's a surprise to know that he's a rookie who just started to act not long ago but already got awesome projects so far. I read some comments mentioning his acting in Duel and I'm on my way watching it, just watched few episodes but already falling hard for him! IF HE DOESNT GET ANY AWARD FOR BEST NEW COMER I WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED! Love you Yang se Jong! you give me hope in the future of k-dramas :") (since lots of people said good actors are going to military so they're ran out of good actors and use idols to act instead, pleaseee dear producers / director take a look at this new rising star with talent and face) Can't wait for temperature of love, i don't really like noona relationship but it is yang sejong and seo hyun jin my queen so I'll give it a try!

He does such a great job of acting both parts that it's hard to believe that it is one person. Not many jobs under his belt and he is doing wonderfully. I'm looking forward to watching his collab with Seo Hyun-Jin in Temperature of Love, I can tell straight away it's going to be a good one. I love both their acting.

His performance is so good that it never come to mind that he is actually a new actor :o Like seriously i thought that he has years of experience as in duel he was able to play three roles with different feeling . If you just watched him in the drama, you could easily mistake him for someone who's been acting for 10+ years. I really hope he gets cast in more dramas or movies. He truly is incredibly talented!
