Kim Hye-Ja (Han Ji-Min) hopes to become an announcer. She is honest and has a positive personality, but she suddenly becomes a 70-year-old woman. 70-year-old Kim Hye-Ja (Kim Hye-Ja) gains the special ability to manipulate time. Lee Joon-Ha (Nam Joo-Hyuk) wants to become a reporter. He has worked hard to achieve his dream, but he now lives his life hopelessly. He gets involved with Kim Hye-Ja.

silvia valli Mar 11 2026 8:39 pm What a wast of time. It goes well up to chapter 10. SPOILER. When the group of fugitives arrives at the beach everything changes. It seems a "second life" beggins, like a side story. The nursing home director becomes a nurse, a youtuber becomes a chef and so on. The previous story is left without any conclusion. Really a mess. Just hate it.

I hate this type of drama. liked it in the beginning, but it's suspicious because the old woman keeps appearing and it turns out it's all just the main character's imagination?? like oh my god, why does it have to be like this?

for an imagination that is too detailed and specific. and too long. they also don't show the other characters' points of view. I hoped they would repeat the same scene with the actual situation, but there wasn't one.

Brian V Sep 21 2024 5:28 pm Han Ji-Min and Kim Hye-Ja are both wonderful actresses. Han Ji-Min is one of my favourites. I was excited to watch this show, and it was good, at first. It's a bit of a roller coaster ride with the changing emotions. I don't particularly enjoy tear jerkers, and this show kept falling into that category. I expected much more of a romantic, feel good, show. If that's what you like or want, stop watching after the tenth episode. I would have given this a thumbs up if the show ended after ten episodes, but it didn't, and I ended up giving it a thumbs down on Netflix.

I'll try not to give any spoilers. The final two episodes felt like they were trying to explain the first ten episodes, and it was slow and clumsy, IMO. It took me quite a while to watch those two episodes, and I nearly didn't finish the show. I held out hope for a nice ending, but it didn't happen for me.

I still love watching Han Ji-Min, as well as Lee Jung-Eun. New for me actresses Kim Ga-Eun and Song Sang-Eun made me smile often. Son Ho-Jun is hilarious, and I'll have to check out some of his other shows.

If you're wondering what I consider a good KDrama, my favourite is My Mister, which I've watched several times now. My second favourite is One Spring Night, which I've also seen several times now. The feel of this show warms me, and I can play the music interlude on repeat just for that feeling. Some others I like, but I've never watched a second time, yet, are My Liberation Notes, Mad for Each Other, and Backstreet Rookie, just because of the quirkiness of it.

I'm currently watching Love Next Door, and the newest episode was just released today. Have fun and enjoy your shows.

That's the reason why it doesn't make sense. It has a great twist—an amazing twist that I did not even see coming. The writer has made you think it was a fantasy drama, but it isn't. People with ***** will definitely experience this. It tells a story from the perspective of people with ******. So if you try so hard to comprehend it too closely from your normal and healthy perspective, you will not see the meaning of it.

Tbh, the first 2 episodes I was like “is it worst watching it” then I got hooked up, and got so confused that why I wanted to watch more. You have to just watch it and nothing should disturb you. If something does you will be lost. The last episode makes me crying so bad.

I love fantasy and anything with time travel but this was so messy. Especially the last couple episodes, it felt like no one wrote the dramas ending so they threw something together for the last couple hours. I also didn’t like the way the one character was portrayed as such a cold and cruel mother, totally out of character. I don’t know how this was acclaimed, just showing that elders lives are hard is nothing new.

Interesting first few episodes. Nuggets about importance of not taking time and young years for granted, failures and still loving self in the process. Great casting (9/10) with highly regarded veteran actors/actresses, my expectations were pretty high. However, theme and plot is messy and confusing. What’s the purpose of the dreams towards the end? I’m not sure and even worse, why did male lead appear as the doctor (that supposedly is only a look-alike). I started skipping redundant parts and some sections seemed like they are fillers to make it to 12 episodes.

And when everything clicks oh wow you gonna love it and cry inside. It’s very, very good. You’ll go back to those parts of the drama that didn’t make sense and then it suddenly made total sense and that’s when your tears will come. Very deep but not sure how many will understand fully.

But after I watch Our Blues and Dear My Friends, I suddenly realize that this old woman, Kim Hye Ja is an exceptional senior actress. Also I love Nam Joo Hyuk in Twenty Five Twenty One. So for me, I watch this drama for a cure to move on from Our Blues, Dear My Friends, and Twenty Five Twenty One. So many of my favourite casts are here.....

Dreamer May 03 2022 5:59 pm I am a guy who have easily watched like 50+ KDramas and didn't really feel anything.. like 2 to 3 dramas were moving enough to bring me some tears.. but THIS ONE I literally cried like I lost something precious.. it does have potholes like any other Kdrama.. and they did waste time in middle episodes but first 2 were Delightful and last 2 were like a rollercoaster and when you bring all the Puzzle close you gonna get a Master Piece .. it's really a HEAVY drama.. I am still thinking about it.. everyone has put Fabulous Performance from Screen Writer to Director then to the Actors and have make it work.. it's a first drama which I like that doesn't ride on it's OSTs.. Kim Hye Ja and Ahn Nae Sang are my find of this series.. I would say whole cast did an Amazing Job..

jay Feb 08 2022 9:29 am First of all, I enjoyed watching this drama! I was so bored scrolling what to watch on Disney+ Hotstar, until I decided to watch this. Not a regret decision!

Second of all, I read a few negative comments about this drama. But TBH, if you really knows what the plot is telling you, you wouldn't say like that.

For example, we know that episode 1-10 are Hye-Ja's imagination. And her brother, Young-Soo was doing nothing in the house; he's the eldest and he should go out to work for helping his family. Yet, he just wasting his time by asking her mother to cook his favorite dishes, and turned out his mother scolded and hit him. Well, it happens in our society, where mostly the eldest sibling still hoping his/her parents to support him/her, although his/her responsible to help the family.

Another example is when the Chanel woman met her own son in Seoul, where she expected his son is supposed to be in Los Angeles. Her son did not even bother to find for his mother, and didn't even feel guilty leaving her mother alone after talking to her, and she decided to suicide. This shows that the only child a mom had, is not taking care of.

To be conclude, every scene has their own lessons. We should practically portrayed it in our lives because it does exist in our society, it is our job to find the good samples of lessons and practice it well.

Well this is just my interpretation and it is subjective as I feel much more for Joon Ha. I notice that in the reality (last 2 episodes), Hye Ja tend to take him for granted: concern about herself and her son first, easily upset and irritate at him, don't concern his feelings, unforgiving and want to have her opinions/wants met. This is shown in the kissing scene, the baby scenes, the forget anniversary scene, the propose scene. All those scene shows clearly she only care why he doesn't act as she expected (and get irritates and acts not nice - throw the ring without a look cos shes upset) and she clearly not notice and not ask what his opinions/feelings are. Thats why we don't know why he doesn't want to kiss, why he forget things and seem absent-minded, perhaps he is already concern about the events that lead to him being arrested, and perhaps he likes to eat something delicious with his first payment, thats why he talks abt her taste. The thing is Hye Ja in real life put herself first and take him for granted which makes Joon Ha in real life still a person with doubts and insecurities and don't love himself or have the strength to live better, this shows clearly when he talks to her in prison, and is very different from imagined Joon Ha.

Hye Ja stills love him, but perhaps only after his death she realize and regret how wrong she treated him and apparently use her imagination to make up for all that time.

Thats why Hye Ja in imagination is very different in treating him, noticing and take care of all his feelings, doubts and insecurities, like she care how much he wants to be a reporter and always try to encourage him (which in real life never happen), and she comforts him with her humor and positivity whenever he is down, and don't feel upset when he does things against her way. In result, imagined Joon Ha is free of the past, have better self-esteem, able to enjoy life and live his life as he is eager to go watch the aurora despite going alone. And one of the biggest act is to save him from prison, perhaps she regretted not doing that in real life.

So, the Hye Ja in imagination is the one who actually try to love him rather than just take him for granted. I'm gonna be heavily subjective here, I know it is still the same person but only after Joon Ha death (and he endured so much, both his life and her) that she realized how precious he is, I don't think she is worthy of him at all. Joon Ha endures so much but still able to love so wholeheartedly and only wants someone who understands him. And in the end he doesn't have anything, that imagination is only in Hye Ja mind, he stills suffered alone.

The watch might be the trigger of her regrets.

My poor Lee Joon Ha.

Thanks to Son ho jun's character... He then makes me laugh. I really really admire him on how he did in this series. Such a fine and lovely story. I love all the characters and actors and actresses who portraits each characters.

I hope to watch them together again... Hye ja and jun ha and young soo and hyun joo. What a chemistry they have! Superb.

This teaches you how to appreciate life, and the people around you. Everybody has a story, everybody is going through their own suffering. Sometimes, because of our sorrow, we do not see other people's efforts and the things they do for us. Keep holding on. Life is bitter sweet for all of us.

The cast and crew has done a spectacular job. Everyone deserves an award for this masterpiece. I am sad how the story turned out. It's depressing yet beautiful at the same time. I hope you will like it as much as I do.

strangely enough, i cried so much during the sene where hye ja and joon ha are sitting in the van while a sad acoustic song played in the background. while crying, i realized this drama woke me up into the reality. i felt so sad about hye ja suddenly becoming a 70-year old grandma, which disabled her to continue her relationship with joon ha, and live her youth as a 25 year-old. i also bawled my eyes out when lady chanel died and was ignored by her only son. i felt extremely sad about joon ha having to witness the deaths of two people who are dear to him and be the son of an abusive money-chaser of a father and friend of a debt-shrouded conman.

about the sudden plot twist, i never expected it at all. i cant say i feel like it's a waste of time. i just feel like the brilliant and great memories from episodes 1 to 10 are a waste... like um... i feel sad that those beautiful moments werent actually lived and experienced by the characters, but just dreamt of by hyeja.

i loved that the concept of this drama was very fresh. not many kdramas dicuss the stories of senior citizens, our dear grandmas and grandpas.

i recommend this if you want to cry your eyes out and discharge the feelings you bottle up, especially if it concerns your family.

Kumeng May 18 2020 9:08 am Most of you opined that the first few episodes (ep 1-10) just waste your time. However, in my opinion, it is worth-watching due to the message of the drama itself. This series would like to convey on how the elders desperately want to turn back time and save their beloved one. However, due to the Law of Equivalent, you will suffer in exchange for something like that. So, that is why the elders just continue to live and enjoy their life.The romantic scenes did not seems cheesy/awkward at all. Even though Junha (Nam Joo Hyuk) did not know that the elder is actually the older version of Hye Ja, this is what the writers are trying to potray. The actors are all amazing. I found Nam Joo Hyuk finally receiving a good project. 10/10.

I don't get why people felt disappointed with the transition of the story, for me it was perfect.

During the first 10 episodes which was grandma Hye Ja's dream/hallucination, it was a combination of her memories and imagination. There are fragments of her memories there, so how come viewers can't find it connected to the last 2 or 3 episodes?

When Hye Ja got older, there was a scene where she cried apologetically to her Father (which is her son irl btw) when she saw that he has a prosthetic leg, you can feel the emotion, like she regret not looking out for her son when he got hit by a car. The same reason why she got to time travel many times just to save her father.

And the scene where the oldies save Joon Ha, it felt like it was her biggest regret, not able to save her husband during their times. After saving Joon Ha, you can see the reality kicks in, that it's all in her imagination. That's the end game.

This drama gave us an insight on how our mind works when we are so beat up by the world, when you lose your sanity because of the hardships you faced. This drama depicts a mind of an old woman who wants to be young again.

If you think this drama is a waste of time, you should watch it twice and think again. :)

Contrary to what other comments said, I thought the storyline was superb and so well-thought out, though I won’t include any spoilers. It made me appreciate whatever bit of my youth I had left, embrace growing older, and live in the moment. The monologue by Hye Ja at the end of the drama had me bawling in tears. Wonderful performance by Kim Hye Ja and Han Ji Min, and I think this might be Nam Joo Hyuk’s best work yet. :)

You will laugh, you will have those goosebumps, you will feel touched by how deep this drama is, and you will cry. I got bored in the half way of it but I am so glad that I competed it. Eych Mar 25 2020 7:35 am Watched this as I think it was a good drama based on the synopsis. But because of the plot twist I feel like I just wasted time watching this. While Kim Hye Ja's acting is superb, I just could not get the connection of the first 10eps to the last 2. I think the last 2eps can be a separate short drama. The last scenes touched me. But combining it with the the first 10eps is so confusing. You can say it was the imagination or hallucination but I just cannot understand the transition and how it was portrayed. And if it is indeed imagination/hallucination/dream, then many characters were wasted. NJH acting did not impress me that much too. Tho I loved him in Weightlifting

This made me realize a lot of things in life. It makes me feel the 'kilig' and frustration at the same time in the first few episodes. And at the last episodes I felt all the emotions that I can feel. I felt like I am really involved in the drama.

Just like most of the kdramas I've watch this would also makes you crave for the next episodes. And the actors are so good! I wish this drama would be nominated and won a lot of awards because I does really worth your time!

To be honest, at first, I thought it was a boring story but I gave it a try because of Nam Joo Hyuk. (Joon Ha) I really like him. But after watching the first episode, I was wrong. I crave for more episodes. I watch the second, third, fourth, fifth episode but this drama never fail to disappoint me! It really gives me a chill in every episode. It made me realize the reality of life when you become old someday soon.

I really appreciate my life more and it teaches me that it's not bad to help others. Like 25 year old Hye Ja, she never hesitate to help Joon Ha whenever she feels something's bothering to him. She's willing to help, to give her two hands to help without asking in return. Also, I really appreciate the genuine friendship of Hye Ja, Hyun Joo and Sang Eun. They never leave Hye Ja even if she turns into an old lady. They maintain their true friendship until they become a senior citizen. Hehe.

About Hye Ja Halmeoni's character, she's so soft, warm and kind. No doubt, Mrs. Chanel, a cold Grandma became soft like Hye Ja Halmeoni. I cried when she died. :'( (you will know why Mrs. Chanel if you watch it)

Kim Yeong Soo's character (25 yrs. old Hye Ja's older brother) is the one who balanced the story. I'm dying laughing of his scenes most specially when he grilled samgyeopsal in his room and when he wants to join the 3 in the trip, he hide his self in the car (baggage carrier) hahahahaha. what a stupid person. LOL.

Joon Ha's character.. he will do everything for the one he loves even if it hurts him. I think, this is one of the best of Nam Joo Hyuk after the Weightlifting Fairy Kim Book Joo.

Kudos to parents of Hye Ja and Yeong Soo also.

About the places.. I love the "mini store" when Joon Ha and Hye Ja always eating udon and drinking soju. Hahaha. For me, that place is so memorable for them. That was the first time they bond each other and tell about their life. (I forgot the name of the store and I don't know what to call it also. Sorry. Hehe) Hmm.. When Joon Ha propose to Hye Ja. I like that place also. So romantic and at the same time, the sunset is so beautiful!!

I want to share more but I think you should watch it. This is one of a kind drama. It melts my heart from episode 10-12. Hehe. You wanna know why? Like I've said, watch it. Witness this heartwarming drama with your own two eyes. From now on, this is one of my favorite. A highly recommended Kdrama. It will makes you cry, laugh, annoyed (because of the Police in Hye Ja Halmeoni's time and the Conman who has interest in the insurance. I forgot his name. Hahaha.) but it's worth it! And for me, I think, some of the scenes in this drama is.. hmm.. maybe? Happening in other people now because of the greed in money, conman in the world is real, daily lives of the characters life most specially the oldies who suffers alzheimer. It's my opinion. Hehe.

I know it's too late but if ever the time comes when one of the cast or staff of this drama will read this comment of mine, I would like to say thank you for making this drama and let us witness this masterpiece. Thank you also because of this, I appreciate my life even more and I understand more about the old person's life. Thanks again and God bless.

It felt like I could really feel that he’s hurt, I could really feel his pain. I am quite surprised of the plot because it wasn’t like what I really expected it to be. The plot twists on the last 2 episodes shocked me and I basically bawled my eyes out 2 hours ago and my eyes are still stinging right now!

This drama isn’t about that kind of lovey-dovey romance stuff but it actually teaches you the point of life! It’s about the importance and how precious your life is. It also involves family and problems revolve around family so you won’t realize that your tear drops haha.

Anyways, it is a really heart warming drama so I recommend you to watch this. I don’t like lightweighted plots but somehow this drama touches my heart the most :)

jan Jun 07 2019 12:08 am been wanting to watch this drama but couldn't. now that i'm done watching it, i am overly touched and very glad that i've finally finished watching it. cast and crew are amazing. director and writer are equally great in bringing up a story and drama that is so heart warming. it does not only tackle how fleeting life is as we grow old. the drama has also shown vivid description of life, love and relationships.. of husband and wife, parents and children, siblings, in-laws, friends and foes all together. great cast. portrayed their roles so well as how the writer has identified their characters. Kudos to all who have been part of this drama!

It really does emphasize how life is fleeting, we don't stay young forever even though we wish we did. This drama really tugged at my heartstrings; you know it's a good drama if you cry and I cried like a baby.

- - SPOILER ALERT ***

It really gives you perspective on life and how we should live life as we only have one and we should not neglect our Elders who once themselves we're youths just like us now. This drama shows that no matter how we get, there will still be an aspect of us that yearn to be young again - Hye Ja was persistent and everytime she turned to her older self, she wanted to go back to being young. It showed that her youth times were her happiest times.

So heartbreaking how her husband passed away - it was so sudden the way he was taken in because he was going to expose the corruption that involved the police (I assumed) - to me this emphasizes the concept that we should spend as much time as we have with our loved ones as we never know what might happen. His death was foreshadowed as well when Hye Ja's father passed away from a car accident and she so desperately wanted to go back to save him to which she fantasized that she did.

A lot of things or aspects that took place in the earlier episodes (it was all a dream of wishful thinking - the yearning to be young again) we're all a part of her youth days. We should appreciate what life throws at us - no matter how bad or how unfortunate, we should always enjoy and endure life's wonderful and horrible moments - as we are all entitled to happiness.

My heart is still breaking.

Krista Apr 11 2019 9:52 pm this was an amazing drama. though the first 10 episodes were a bit eh,, once you see the ending, thats when everything hits. my heart was incredibly moved by how sad yet realistic both the girl and guys lives were. both lived unfortunate lives but gosh, that plot? amazing. nothing else can be said for how amazing it was. i definitely would watch this again,, if only I hadn’t known the plot. that meaning behind the show really hit me too. now I’ve been thinking about life a lot more. on how fast time could go by, how even though sometimes shits tough,, you just have fight, and so much more. god this drama is a definite 10/10 for me (just thought some of the episodes were quite too long of a transition but,, it all just goes up to that great plot so I’m not really gonna complain lol)

This may happen in real life, as my aging parents have mild dementia. The 12 episodes are well written, well acted, well directed with tear jerking and LOL moments. Plot twists keep you interested.

The first 10 episode is about HyeJa fantastical dream of her being young and turned old with its adventures. Final two episodes revealed that HyeJa is indeed old and suffering Alzheimer's living in a nursing home (senior center in her dream). If you enjoy Wizard of Oz, then you will enjoy this drama. This drama gives a glimpse and a nice life lesson for millennials and older viewers. Highly recommended and enjoy!

I think it's original how the writer managed to tell HyeJa story from her nowadays point of view and viewers, despite hints, understand what that means exactly only in last episodes.

It's incredible how the writer & director & cast managed to offer us scenes totally enjoyable without us knowing the truth but their teamwork still completely matches the truth once you know it, you can watch the same scenes a 2nd time under a new light. Particularly the chars of HyeJa father & the brother, Kim YeongSoo attitude / personalities.

Thanks so much all cast & staff for this memorable drama!

The first part of the drama does not fit the ending. I feel like they just pasted two different ideas together. There were episodes so long and boring and I stuck with it thinking I'll get a good happy ending. I wouldn't recommend this drama to anyone.

All the actors were excellent in their rolls. I just didn't like the story.

The last time I felt this dissatisfied with a drama was Moonshine and Valentine.

Kim Hye Ja potrayed such a powerful acting at playing the 25-year-old woman that i literally forgot her real age due to her being darn cute. The story was written real nicely, for some people who thought about giving up this drama for whatever reason please don't because you'd probably never find this kind of story again. The Screenwriter, director and production stuff were amazing, the cast were also amazing, definitely is a dizzling experiemce for me :-) I would remember this for a very long time :-)

And the plot twist, was the best plot twist that i've found since watching korean drama since the first time started to watch korean drama in 2009/2010.

Go give it a try, guys. Eventho you will feel bored at some points, but please just finish it at least till ep 10.

It makes you reflect and realize many thing above all the value of each moment of our precious life. If you are thinking wether watching or not, well go watch it! IT'S TRULY WORTH IT. This is why I skip dramas with fantasy element, their writers have a way of messing things up. This is so disappointing. There are too many unanswered questions.. Why write a drama that can't fit into 12 episodes and leave us hanging? I really feel cheated. Everything was going so good and then everything went downhill. Why waste time filming useless scenes. Ok, i get how the Alzheimer is such out of the box topic and to pursue a story around it might be a good idea, if executed well. In this drama, it's not. Why waste audiences time to see 10 useless drama guessing what the hell is this story going to end, including the old folks mission to save joon ha packed like the avengers parody (which is dumb). Why waste the story about lady chanel, her son, joonha crying over her death, hye ja friends and their lives, in episodeS, even the last bit about young soo trapped in a car shipped to africa. Are the writers too drunk with soju while writing the script? And after the detective gave the watch in the hospital, why didn't she take it? And what's up with the message she deliver at the end, to live your life despite sh!tty past or uncertain future, dude, after joonha died she treated her son like sh!t. Never facepalm at a drama like this one. Other nitpicking about hyojun acts as young soo which is married to hye ja's friend but she has grandson with a face like young soo, or hyojun.

Many people who got arrested at that time. Even many people were missing and their family didn't know whether they still alive or not. It happened not only in Korea but also in another country that forbid the communist. Overall this drama is well written and the acting was good. Love the actor nam joo hyuk

Just finished watching the last episode. I'd like to thank to all the casts and crews for presenting this heartwarming story. Last episode really took a lot of tears of me T_T ,i really like the part when finally HJ and JH 'meet again' and Dae Sang realize his mom's love. Although some question still left unanswered, where is HJ's brother? Is it really there is no connection / relation between the doctor who looks like joonha with HJ? And the chanel lady is only in HJ's imagination?

So far this is the best drama in 2019 after sky castle.

Some are so great I’ve rewatched them dozens of times, but never commented. Just not my thing. This drama, though, was so beautifully done that its a shame most people won’t watch it, let alone understand its beauty. I started watching it because of the supernatural and romance aspect of it. As the drama went on, I found myself drawn into the story. It was a slap of reality in my face. So sad at times that I cried my eyes out, especially at the end. I found myself reflecting on my own life. It was like reading great poetry. The story is not all sad, though. It has lots of funny moments, too, that left me smiling. All the actors did a wonderful job. Lead actress Hye JaKim does a great job as a senior citizen trying to act twenty-something. Don’t pass up this gem just because you’ll cry or because it isn’t like your typical romcom. The feelings in this drama are so real that its almost unpalatable. It’s very cathartic and enlightening. That’s a good thing, too!

The beginning is really cute and is what you expect to see from the synopsis. I was thrilled by this since I'm a romance story eater. But then she turns old and you are definitly hoping that she'll turn young again. But basically except ep 9 - 10(which shows the funny rescue of Joo ha) not an interesting shit happens. You just got one fake hope for one episode but I doubted it could be real.

Is the moral that when you turn old you get a boring messed up life? Is that it ? Or you just can't help it? It's really hard to process with those long episodes where nothing happens and makes your aging days scary. Was bored for a long time. Disappointed that the end MIGHT look like an Alzheimer old person imagination.

A little advice, don't place this as no.1 in your watchlist. I won't tell that it's not worth it cause I'm only at ep 11. But, if you wanna cry alot nd love the actors/actresses, then it's your choice. Almost all Kdramas are like this anyway yet we still watch. What's new? No one can stop us haha.

g Mar 17 2019 10:10 am I saw so many people disliking this awesome drama because they hate seeing an old protagonist, people just want Hye Ja to be young again for a cute love story. I started this drama thinking that it is indeed a cute romantic comedy but it is much more, it made me laugh, cry and question many things. Even though the drama isn't finished yet, It is one of the best k-dramas I have seen. You should definitely watch it. -SPOILER(EP10)-

The writers and the director did a really good job. Making young Hye Ja protagonist in the first episodes helps the viewer relate with her. I personally was someone who couldn't watch dramas with old people but the transition between the young and the old was so good that I found myself addicted to this old woman's life. Like everyone, there were times where I wished young Hye Ja to return but after ep 10, the storyline is much better than I expected. Telling this story from an old Alzheimer woman's perspective couldn't be done better. Hye Ja's imagination is just so heart-breaking and so real, the plot-twist made me cry for an hour. I think this is the best drama we will see in 2019.

hoosierr Mar 16 2019 12:27 am This show is my favorite from 2019 kdramas so far.The story takes you the most unexpected places and events.It's fun,tragic,comic and sad.So many mixed feelings.Well written,well shoten and acting is amazing.I started watching the show bc I love Kim Hye Ja so much,Han Ji Min as well but have no idea how the story and characters will evolve.Thankfully I'm not dissappointed at all.Son Ho Jun comedic acting is really something. Kudos to writer,PD,actors and the crew.Thanks for this special show.

Anika Mar 14 2019 9:15 am When I watched Hye-Ja's gotten older, I thought, the resolution of this drama must be Joon-Ha's gotten older too. They would grow old together and not turn back to the younger selves. I had been suspicious at the wheelchaired-grandfather since the very beginning that he was older Joon-Ha, but refuted immediately after thinking "how could older and younger Joon-Has be together in the same timeline".

And here you are, episode 10, which makes everything more complicated and absurd. I hope there will be an explanation to my confusion in the next two episodes.

A great thing about this drama is its capability of bringing out tears T.T

a Mar 14 2019 6:51 am such . a . good . drama! at first i thought it is just a time travel drama,never knew that i'd constantly crying at every episodes lol there is always such a scene that made me cry. just finished watching ep 10 and my oh my what a mind blowing episode. NJH act really gets better,every cast in this drama is great. Now i just have to patiently waiting for the next episodes,cant wait!

I like Nam Joo Hyuk here better than when he was in Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo and Kim Hye Ja as a 25 year-old who one day became a 60-year old lady is too adorable to watch.

Gndk Mar 06 2019 12:24 am Their couple moments were so cute and well done, I thought there'd be cute hijicks when she turns into grandma but instead it gets real about dreams and poverty etc. This dramas writing is definitely a bit weird when the 25 actually acts and thinks and speaks like a grandma when she's supposed to be 25, and the whole reason she became old was so dumb, like can't she have just thrown a rock at the car to make him stop instead of wasting 72766768 days trying to learn to ride a bike. What a dumbass. I hope this drama doesn't keep getting sadder and she turns back soon because um I don't think I have the heart to watch these sweet characters go thru this

Glad this drama is cut short. Sorry, 25 yrs olds do not whine like that. Grannies do not whine like that. I don't understand how people think this is a good drama. I understand the storyline, and the meaning behind the story-- the cost of wanting something, but still just act sad not whinny.

ajiiehtb Mar 01 2019 5:15 pm so so good! i've been on a kdrama funk for a while and couldnt find anything that kept my interest. i highly recommend to anyone that values a storyline with depth. the leads have amazing chemistry and every side character storyline is entertaining. for those who like movie like dramas (ex: prison playbook, sky castle, etc.) do yourself a favor and watch this. you will NOT regret it

Kim Hye Ja is awesome & splendid. I love her expressions of pain & sadness, & at times wonderment of simple things that she used to take for granted when she was the younger han ji min. How a change in age & face changed a whole lot of things in life. A story of sadness but full of beautiful & at times funny moments. I love this story & kim hye ja.... As for cable tv- the rating if higher 5, means it is good.

At the age of 25, you are done with your university life and now you'll went to a phase of job hunting. But, you didn't have a courage or confident to applied for the job. Seeing other people getting job you feel insecure and stress out. Still, i'm still questioning myself if i can ever land a job in my field of study. Rejection and ignored application is really painful. Due to those pain i've stopped trying for months. I wish someday I can get those missing pieces of confidence I lost.

This drama make me realised, Im not the only one out there. It's only a phase in everyone life.

Maidanmuji Feb 12 2019 4:19 pm So far this is the best drama I've seen in the past three years, I've seen at least around 70+ dramas (I know, I had no life lol) and this is the best so far! Storyline is heartbreaking but in a good way and every scene has been filmed perfectly, it gives off a similar vibe with 1988 reply but isn't as light hearted. I'll give you a top three of my favorite dramas because I just feel like it,

1st place is this drama, The Light in Your Eyes 2nd is Age of Youth 3rd is Reply 1988

They all have a few things in common, such as you become attached to the characters, you get a warm fuzzy feeling inside while seeing the relationships between family members and friends, also every scene is filmed perfectly.

Please don't binge watch dramas, pick wisely and watch the ones that are worth your time and this one for sure is.

Shine Feb 11 2019 10:58 pm I must admit that I became interested in this drama because of Son Ho Jun, but having watched trailers and read different versions of its synopsis, I have to come to anticipate the drama for the story and timely lessons it hopes to deliver.

[2019-0211 • Episode 1 - I Have A Secret] As the lead characters and the people surrounding them is introduced in this first episode, I am made aware that even though the drama has an element of fantasy, it still is a story about ordinary people trying to live out their lives as best they could, much like us (although Yeong-soo still has to exert much, much more effort). The chemistry between the members of Kim family is so natural that I believe this could also be a reflection a typical family from other Asian countries, not just Korea. This could also be said of the plight of Kim Hye-ja, a symbol of someone who have lost the fire of her idealistic youth, yet still hoping to see a spark of a bright future she's been holding on to. (I watched the episode's closing credits in tears because of her words in the last scene. TT)

"How I wish I could turn back time." I believe many of us have come to a point in life when we asked ourselves this question. "What if you could?" Hye-ja asks Joon-ha. For myself, I could only imagine. But for Joon-ha and Hye-ja, there's episode 2 of this promising drama to watch tonight, while enjoying freshly cooked samgyeopsal. ;)

Marife Jan 22 2019 9:16 pm I am excited for this drama. The plot looks interesting it is not the typical story you see in most K-dramas and the trailer ohmyyy God. The trailer looks heartwarming like something can make you cry and inspired at the same time. I am thinking this is an inspiring drama and something that will make you cry in some scenes. I have always loved Han Ji Min since watching her in Rooftop Prince and many may not like her in Hyde, Jekyll and Me but I love her in that Drama. Not to forget is the very handsome hunk Nam Joo Hyuk with his six pack abs. I love his character in Weightlifting fairy. I am hoping that this two leads have great chemistry together and this drama will be a big hit.
