Yeah she may be quite despicable in "My Only One" but at least she made amends for it and you'll somehow understand why she is there. Despite her roles, I enjoyed watching her and look forward to watching her in other shows like the one now. Watching her also now in "Young Lady and Gentleman" and I really like her a lot more here. She is even prettier and more beautiful here. As usual, I'm looking forward to watching her in the future. Bill Nov 20 2021 6:48 pm Wow. We have the same birthday. I'm "only" 36 years older than her (1954). First time I saw her was in My Only One. I didn't like her role, and even though she has a cute smile, her despicable behavior spoiled it. So glad that her role in Young Lady and Gentleman is better, but still neutral about the smile. In the first 15 episodes or so, she absolutely nails the reaction such a head-over-heels woman would have, when the object of her affection appears. When Yoon Oppa even so much as talks to her (instead of telling her to go away, as he does often) her face lights up like a firework bursting. You cannot watch her performance without rooting for her and Yoon Oppa to work things out. (She's great in the last 5 eps as well, but there are fewer happy times during much of them.) She also does a very credible total-heartbreak meltdown sob-fest. You will want to get through these scenes - as good as they are - quickly, so you can see the fireworks again when she's happy. I really love every scene her with kim minjong, they look good together. After I finish the drama, I replay all of her scene with kim minjong from first episode until end. She's amazing. How can you switch so naturally from a happy moment to crying. I believe that it is because of you, A Gentileman's Dignity became more awesome and touchy. I see some people are saying she a bad actress, but you know, skills also come with time and experience. The more dramas she'll be casted in, the better she'll get. But I didn't think she was that bad at all. I'm sure her character is suppose to be like that. A bubbly, over expressive, hopeless romantic, young girl who is madly in love. And you know what, no one cried prettily. Not even the most beautiful girl. The fact that even though her character is overly expressive and can be pushy or annoying, but people still like her character and is able draw attention to her character means she is doing a fine job. It's not easy for many actresses to pull off her role because not many can act silly naturally. Usually characters like that can be annoying, but I love her character. She's hilarious and sweet.
