Jill Nov 15 2022 4:07 am I enjoyed this drama a lot when it first premiered, and that made me go back in time to watch the same two stars, Eric Moon and Yumi Jung, in their earlier pairing drama, Que Sera Sera. Wow, their first pairing was even more intense than this one, totally passionate and raw, with a great OST. I want to see them paired a third time. It would be a dream come true. :)

CV Jul 18 2021 12:33 pm Best pure romance drama. The script, the scenario, the ost, the acts my top 10. Watched this first time in 2017 and rewatch again. Even if they tried to make another storyline similar to this, they failed (I watched i need romance 2 which Jung Yu Mi was in it and The Spies Who Loved Me which Eric was in it) but Discovery Of Love still win. 5/5

Yami Feb 16 2021 11:09 am This drama is so beautifully sad.. I cried watching almost every episode... The bgm still keeps playing in my mind.. When you have lost your parents suddenly..you can't really accept the hard truth for a long time and the unresolved pain lingers until you find someone who really understands and offers you genuine comfort in their arms to cry... I know this.. I have experienced this sadness that the FL goes through... Believe me its so hard you may laugh.. Goout dating n chill with friends but in the deep corners of your heart the pain still resides..She could only find her solace in her past love... I really really love this drama a lot.. Am in tears writing this comment

Also her character is so frustrating, she kept on lying and keeping secrets from her boyfriends and then blames it on them once she's found out. Why be in a relationship if you won't trust your partner? Overall, this drama is really hard to watch so watch at your own risk.

And watched that just bcoz of goong yo & park sae joon.like all her drama but her leading lady character scripted way too clingy and annoying.cant help to hate her. Shes not good looking or nice character but that 2 idiots fall for her heart. Saw her in i need romance kdrama and same clingy annoying character played cant even finish watching that drama though i love the leading guy character. Hate her character which is always clingy and annoying n with that kind of looks. Why the hell the guys will always fall for her.they for sure to run away in real life. Its Such a nightmare in the real life that kind of character with that kind of look is not lovable. I rarely hate leading lady. Hope she got better script n character

Noni Feb 27 2019 7:22 pm Why these two men are so in love with this awful woman, I do not know. But this drama has the right amount of romantic tension and conflict to keep me entertained. I enjoyed it but the female lead character was a bit hard to tolerate. Yes, all the lead characters are flawed but she just seemed cold and extremely selfish. This drama's only problem is communication. I mean nobody communicates in this drama. For things so simple, a small sentence would clear u any misunderstanding. Technically none of these relationships should have survived because they all suck at communicating. Communication is the most basic requirement in any relationship.

Any other cast and this drama would have been complete rubbish which is saying a lot because I've seen dramas with plot holes for days and a rubbish storyline but an excellent cast and it still suck (ahem... Memories of the Alhambra).

Not a bad watch, just don't get too caught up in the romance.

Shafia Oct 14 2018 4:56 am I watched 9 episodes uptill now but I think Im losing my interest because of the fact that yoreum and kang taeha will be end up together. I really like the character of nam hajin and really want to survive their relation but I also adore kang taeha feelings which he saved for many years. So its really confusing position for me to ship or root for any of them. Many people hate the manipulative character of yoreum but I can understand that behavior but the one thing which I really hate is hiding about her five year relationship. However, If I want to remember something from this drama it would be the trio ( jinho sol and yoreum) friendship and also the bonding of jinho with hanjin (that innocence).

Rob Oct 10 2018 6:25 pm I am a sucker for good romantic comedies but I don't think I can stomach finishing this drama because of the most common reason drama's turn me off is that lead men are too often a-holes and I can't root for the leads to end up together. I really want to like a Yu-Mi drama because I like her quirky, bubbly and cute style but this drama seems to be suffering the same fate as I Need Romance 2012.

    In real life I feel sorry for way too many women who stuck with the wrong guy for too long thinking they will change and after it is too obvious and they break up by that time of their life the good men that were once plentiful are now taken and their dreams of having a family are crushed.  Tae-ha treated Yeo-Reum  poorly for the last 2 years of their relationship and after she came crawling back to him.  Then after she gets back on her feet and met a nice guy it is obvious Tae-Ha is going to cause them to break up and end up with her.  A true real life conclusion would be the same result they had with their first go at dating which ended with Tae-Ha getting bored with Yeo_Reum again,is distant and while having  no interest in her intellectually.  People's personality doesn't  tend to change that much in real life so I don't enjoy dramas that expect me to believe they will have this drastic change of personality resulting in a  happy ending.  
    I was impressed by the acting, it is just the plot that turned me off and was only able to get through 5 episodes.

All the secrets were irritating me at one point but I guess it's sending the message that no relationship can ever survive with secrets and poor communication. Loved these characters and I really loved the chemistry between Do Joon-Ho and Yoon Sol. I miss these characters!

Eric Mun is my favorite kind of leading man. He was in Another Miss Oh and he nailed it again here. I know he'll be busy with Shinwha's comeback but I sure hope he does a new drama soon. And am I the only one who thinks Sung Joon is just one of the best kissers in drama world?!

Tae ha has many flaws, but after all he's just a great man, he's honest and responsible, the one whom we can depend on. And I always love Eric oppa, as actor, as rapper, as leader, as a man, as everything. Saranghae, Oppa. Really hope your new drama.

The writers did a good job portraying a typical k-drama love triangle in a very interesting and realistic way. I can't stand Hajin but I do feel bad for him sometimes lol. And omg Jung Yumi is so adorable. Her chemistry with Eric is so heart-warming to watch. The only complaint I have is that there's not enough Yeoreum-Taeha scenes at the end T_T Can't wait for Jung Yumi's next drama project!

But really didn't like the constant change of heart of the main female lead. You feel sorry of Sung Joon's character but also found it infuriating that he constantly created his own misunderstandings. Eric mun's character does grow and have develpment throughout the series and in the end actually did deserve Jung Mi. But you still feel sorry for Sung Joon's character. But still the romance development is the main interesting part of the series and i found the much more interesting.

I never though it would be this good, i was hesitant to watch this at first but im in love with this drama right after i start the first episode. Go watching this and you will love it too! And i love the ending anyway, its good that han yoo reum can learn from his father to not "force" for loving someone cause if she do, the ending would be like his father. Moreover, i think nam ha jin and ahn ha rim have a deeper feeling than just brother-sister relationship so nam ha jin can be loved without any compulsion, and two of them will be happy forever!❤

especially the thing about LOVE. who love most will be in pain, and it's true. who gave unconditional love will be the one in pain in the end, when the other side din give 100% too. I can relate to that so much.

and i'm kinda glad even upset that nam hajin didn't get the girl. but she is a b*tch like a real b*tch. im glad dr nam didn't end up with woman like that. and he is happy now he can chase his dream as volunteer service.

and i'm not happy with the ending because end up the girl get back to the ex, tae ha is way better for girl like yeo rum, i wished she end up getting cheated back by some random guy for ending. but oh well it's a drama anyway so what u expect.

but I really love nam ha jin character, so nice and good. plus that deep sexy voice OMG. i'm starting to fangirling him and stalk his other drama LOL.

well anyway the reason i watch this drama is because of eric, i watch his drama another miss oh, and really like him there. but in here i got swayed by sung joon oppa mehehehe

Some of you might not like han yeo reum but i think every woman will be like her. She knows clearly what she wants, black or white and tries hard to stay with the Dr. Nam. She's hurt when Dr. Nam took Ahn Ah Rim side every time. I mean, how could you do that to your girlfriend and turns her into a complete fool? She might be mean, selfish and a bitch but it's way better than lying, keep hiding things but keep that straight face as if you did nothing wrong. Dr. Nam might be a devoted lover but he kinds of untruthful and indecisive. A man shouldnt be like that, for me. Kang tae ha is damn good in the character. I love his expression, emotions and those eyes can really talk. The thing that i like the most in this drama is it shows what are the things that can shake up your relationship. Things we might not realise but it may affect every relationship. Thanks to this drama, i have something to learn about love.

Not Important Dec 16 2015 1:34 am Very well made drama, realistic about people who fall in love and break up. Not a single character that I hate. The characters is real and has a flaw like us human like Yeo Reum character who is selfish, Tae ha is very frank and honest and also Ha jin who is weak not so strong even though he is very gentle but it makes them so real that you can see in a real life. The cinematography and music choice is great too and Eric mun is a great actor not a single awkward thing in his acting and Jung Yu Mi is so good actress as usual.

rskdrama Oct 04 2015 12:58 pm this is very heavy drama, most times they are arguing fighting or crying. There is romance but hidden in reality mostly. If you are looking for laughter and fun this is not the right drama. But if you have patience to see real love in drama may be you can watch this. Eric had done his part well. Yu Mi and Sung Joon acted the same way they have done in all dramas in their career, no different, so I am not finding it interesting for them. I liked Hyung Min and Seul Gi- comeday acting.

1: She was an utter manipulator. She would turn situations around to suit herself, turn on the waterworks to get her own way, and basically manipulate those around her, especially the men. She was incredibly sly at turning men against each other.

2: She was an absolute bitch. To the men in her life, she was so, so incredibly horrible towards them, and treated them like servants or if they weren’t getting treated like servants, they were just getting treated like trash.

3: She was ugly. There. I said it. Plain and simple. This woman had nothing visual going on about her AT ALL.

So.... this brings me to wonder. She was an ugly, nasty, self-centered manipulative bitch. And the guys just kept on lapping it all up. Why did the script writer make the guys into such pathetic wimps? Like, I’d understand it a little if the woman was at least good looking. But she wasn’t. Everything about her made her seem like a piece of shit. If I was a guy (or at least was a guy and had some small fraction of self-respect) I would have swept her out of my life completely

Cool dream Jun 04 2015 9:40 pm Not a fan of the writer. Her writings make me hate Han Yeo Reum to death. There was nothing good about her from the beginning till the end. The most selfish heroine in korean drama ever. I don't understand why Kang Tae Ha and Nam Ha Jin, the two perfect guy chasing her loves while she even not look attractive nor highly smart with meh personalities. The only good things about this drama is the actors's acting. The execution of all the scenes are perfect. If you wanna see the meaning of RAW EMOTIONS in actings, you must watch Eric Mun's actings in this drama. he's the only korean actor that could do nothing but still could deliver his pain excellently. I heard some said Yumi is good actress, but I don't feel anything from her except trying to be cute all the time. Cinematography and background songs are excellent.

soprano Nov 12 2014 8:50 am I like this drama but I totally hate the female lead character Han Yeo Reum. Kang Tae Ha deserves much better than her. I don't understand how can both high quality of men (Tae Ha and Nam Ha Jin) attracted to someone like Han Yeo Reum. She's not extremely beautiful, not even sexy or has great appearance or not extremely genius or talented. Her personality also so annoying. So…I don't have any idea how can these two guys love her to death. Kang Tae Ha (Eric) and Kim Seul Gi are the only reason why I watched this till finish.

JC Oct 09 2014 7:25 pm Eric and Jung Yu Mi's last drama together, Que Sera Sera is one of my most memorable and favorite dramas so it was so awesome seeing the two in another drama! And Eric being back doing dramas was a surprise too.

While watching this drama, despite the bias I had going into it and how much I wanted things to work out between Kang Tae Ha and Han Yeo Reum, I couldn't help but realize how much of a sweetheart Nam Ha Jin was, such a caring and understanding guy. I didn't mind if she eventually chose him...does Kang Tae Ha even stand a chance against what the two have, I kept wondering but was still hopeful. You'll have to see what happens between the three...

I absolutely loved this drama and how things ended. I already miss this journey.

I am absolutely satisfied with the ending. I am really glad she didn't end up with Dr nam. I know many said Yeo reum should be with him just because of the fact that he is devoted to her but just as dr nam said in the drama, both of them would not be happy together even though he remains devoted. Because Yeo reum loves tae hee and not dr nam. It's as simple as that. I still don't really understand why some of you wants Yeo reum to be with someone she does not love. :p

I would remember this drama in years to come. :) really.

As much as I enjoy KDramas, I still have a problem with the age gaps that seem to be so common. Why is there so often such an age gap when it really isn t necessary in casting.

Her boyfriend, who habitually lies to her, cannot be trusted! When are you going to allow Yeo Reum to wake up and realize that her doctor is a bonfide lowlife jerk who will never be truthful to her. Let her know that she is not in control of the relationship but he is by constantly lying and sneaking behind her back with other females. When the doctor gets caught doing wrong, he uses PAC (passisive aggressive control) and flipping things around to make her think she has done something wrong and dumping all the blame on her by always saying: "you're misunderstanding." Even the doctor's so-called "sister?!" Is doing the same thing to her. He is smart enough to let a yeo Reum believe she is the one in control when actually he is controlling everything! Please make Yeo Reum stand STRONGER against the two of them and tell them about all their Ph calls, texting, and secretly meeting each other. Why not put Yeo Reum on a better playing field by not ever revealing anything more to him--Especially about her ex boyfriend? Let the doctor feel the same pain and disappointment of finding out about their past relationship on his own--just as she found out when he did not tell her about all the women he has been (without her knowledge) sneaking around with!! Why should she always be the forgiving and weak one in the relationship? I love all three main actors but ep 8 is lacking in retaliation by Yeo Reum in defending herself.

Jung Yoo Mi also very pretty. And Sung Joon is very cute. Not to mention they have very cute and talented Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Hyun Min. All the casts really great on acting, and I love the story line and background musics too. Totally well made drama.

Of course I love to see Jung Yumi's acting tho. But as it is rom-com, the silly interaction between Kim Seul Gi and Eric will be really entertain to watch and I'm sure age gap won't interfere.
