A tremendous combination of look and acting. My fave is Something in The Rain. I have watched more than 5 times, and never get bored of it. The chemistry between the main leads is undeniably powerful, natural, and captivating. Can't hardly wait his next project. IMO, he's at his absolute best in serious roles like Ahn Junho in D.P. and LIm Suho in Snowdrop. I need to see his acting skills stretched beyond their limits because I know he's capable of giving so much more. Of course I'm still looking forward to Lovestuck/This Sh!tty Love as, according to him, it's a combination of many genres. Don't get me wrong, I admire many Korean actors, with most of them being senior actors (Hwang Jungmin, Ryu Seungryong, the late Lee Sunkyun, and lots more). For me, he is one of the best actors of his generation. His acting is natural, subtle, understated, yet very powerful. My favorites are D.P., One Spring Night and Something in the Rain. Since then, I've devoured his filmography (the only one I haven't watched is Bride of the Century) and have seen his evolution from a newbie actor in The Three Musketeers to his seasoned, amazing portrayal of Ha Dongsoo in Connect. His acting is natural and sensitive; he inhabits the characters he portrays; he's great at eye acting and microexpressions; he's also great in modulating his voice in expressing emotions and also in portraying different characters; he can easily switch from sweet and gentle one moment, to sad and anguished the next, to cold and cruel; his eyes speak volumes; he expresses every emotion so well. I've watched close to 100 kdramas, he's the only actor of his generation whose acting touches my soul. I admire the love and passion he gives to every role. Brilliant, excellent actor! Before watching Connect, I knew he'd do well but I didn't expect a mindblowing performance because of its thriller/sci-fi genre. But boy, he blew me away AGAIN with his brilliant portrayal of Ha Dongsoo! He made the "monster" very human, you feel his every emotion: loneliness, fear, confusion, anxiety, anger, and lots (and lots) of pain. What's even more impressive is it's his first time acting with CGI. At this point, I believe he's one of the best actors of his generation; and at the rate he's going, I can already see that he's going to have a long and fruitful acting career ahead of him.
