"Half of a Half" tells the romance story between Moon Ha-Won (Jung Hae-In) and Han Seo-Woo (Chae Soo-Bin). Ha Won is an AI programmer and he is the founder of M&H Company. He is a consistent person with a good heart. Meanwhile, Han Seo-Woo works as a classical music recording engineer. Her life is unstable without a family or house, but she is a positive person.

"A Piece of Your Mind" was originally scheduled to have 16 episodes, but on April 8th, 2020, tvN announced that the drama series will be shortened to 12 episodes. The drama series will now end on April 28, 2020 rather than its original May 12, 2020 date.

Doaa Aug 03 2022 4:41 am The lead female character is a liar, deceitful, hypocrite woman. She plays dirty to get what she wants, overhears others and interferes with others’ business. Has no sense of guilt to the wrong she does and after all of this, she wins and gets what she wants! I am very sorry that such good actors are wasted on such a story with such a vile character being the lead. I don’t get the people who like this drama. For me it’s not about fun or no fun, it’s about presenting vile and lying characters as normal and leads!

Adele Mar 15 2022 3:17 am I find the slow pace of this drama very calming, Jung Hae In performance absolutely perfect. I loved how it goes about explaining the one side love, the grieving process and the need to let go. Loved the concept that all you need is 1% and the willingness to make it grow. This drama stayed with me a long time. Made me wish we could have a "devise" for real. Made me reflect of what also I could have done with my relationships.It needed the slow pace to convey the message that we need to observe and listen more. What a beautiful work!!! I can not understand the low rating for a drama that stirs so many emotions.

It’s a good KDrama withheartwarming and emotional story.the episodes made my heart flutters and cried too.Its worth to finish it until the end. I was disappointed when it was shortened to 12 episodes.I supposed international viewers or fans of JungHaeIn and ChaeSoo bin love their chemistry. I love how they embracedeacj other. Dialogues are well written. I am a fan of both seasoned actors , JHI and CSB.

It literally does not make sense what?? Please, for anyone who is considering to watch this drama, give it a chance because this is the best drama I have ever watched in my life (the combination of great casts, natural heart-felt acting, amazing OSTs, stellar background music that amplifies each scene, the depth of emotions shown between characters' dialogues that will hit you in your feelings, beautiful cinematography, great filming sets) and I have watched a LOT of dramas in my life. I don't usually go for slice of life genre but this one hits home, gauges all sorts emotions in me. This is a hidden gem! So underrated.

This drama left me yearning for more, a drama that literally pissed me off because deep down I know that there will never be another drama that will make me feel like this. An 11/10 from me.

crescent Oct 14 2021 6:53 am the most underrated drama i have Ever watched in my life. i dont usually write comments here but this drama is filled with such comfort and warmth that i cant explain. slow paced, sweet, and the chemistry between main leads?? definite a must watch for melancholic people. also if youre looking for a break from heavy plot dramas (makjangs like penthouse/investigation related dramas), give this drama a shot.

There is no schemes, no bad guys and plots, just simple human interaction. Jung Hae-in is great in it as well, as usual he makes his co-star shine in every drama he plays in (Chae Soo-Bin in this drama, Han Ji‑min in One Spring night and Son Ye‑jin in Something in the Rain).

A must see, the calmness in this drama put you on your toes the whole time.

This drama really deserves more than 16 ep :( but I do understand why they need to be shorten as I realised it was kinda slow. Although it’s kinda slow, it fits the plot. It’s not easy for someone to move on completely. I’m glad Ha Won and Seo Woo had each other. Nevertheless, I like the vibe in this drama =)

Elly Jun 11 2021 1:21 am Some may find it boring, depressing, slow-paced but if you've ever been at the lowest point of your life, have seen ups and downs of life, love and human conflicts, you'll realize this drama made you even more aware that it's time to heal yourself of those wounds, scars and the pieces of sadness, melancholy, its time to move on, not because you need to, but because you'll find some reason, some really good people, when you'll not like being stuck.

And when you move on, you'll accept everything you didn't accept before, you'll think you are not a crying person but after shedding some tears in the process, you'll find actually how geuine and honest it is to move on.

I feel healed after watching this drama, so I really hope people learn something from the genuine love of Ha Won and Seo Woo who both overcame their fears, their losses, and their sadness by just talking, communicating and understanding.

They both gave each other time to heal themselves, without forcing their affections on each other, their story gives some hope for love, some hope for recovery and some hope for future. Though it's quite blur in the start.

All in all, I think I don't have enough words in my vocaublary to describe my feelings for this drama.

I would have hard time to move on from this drama, people who didn't watch it will never understand it and they'll only badmouth this drama. So don't listen to their fake stories.

Watch it yourself and then you'll understand.

I think this drama set bars for every upcoming drama really high for me, now I can never control myself comparing other dramas with this one.

Their love is so refreshing and warm. Something you’d want to hold on to once you felt it. I know its too late to hold this drama. but I hope someone like me will understand this kind of love story. n one more thing, this drama have a lot of hugs scene rather then kiss scene n that's why I like it. It’s like their hugs could take away all the pain in the world.

elili Apr 22 2021 6:28 pm Deep, kind and thoughtful drama. It makes you think and reflect. Yet again a masterpiece for Jung Hae-In. A no nonsense actor who takes his acting career seriously and would always aspire to give an eloquent performance.

There is so much to unfold in this drama and it is full of lessons and takes: how each person is like a plant who needs care, love, sunshine and water to flourish and blossom; how a person can make a difference to another person by just being kind and compassionate; how actions (and or words) can affect the course of somebody’s life and those around them; how one can still be kind (and help) to those who hurt them and how kindness and love is contagious. Even though I don’t know the “Korean” Language, I feel that the dialogue used is incredibly deep and meaningful. It sounds like poetry to me. For example, when Seo-woo told Ha-won that she likes how she leaves to work every morning at the same time to experience the change in light; to her this means that every day, life gets better - beautiful metaphor. Thank you.

Tsunami Mar 21 2021 12:21 pm Slow. Very, very, very slow. I wasn’t expecting it to be so slow. Ha Wons character was delightfully introverted. Not aloof and oblivious like they normally make “weird” introverts into. He was self aware and passionate. He was empathetic and sensual...And patient. Seo Woo was a joy to watch. She seemed so genuine and with a childish optimism that came off very realistic to me. Not at all contrived. I never felt like I was watching her “act”. She was completely convincing as the character. I absolutely love her character. But did I mention it was very, very slow? Ok then. Nevertheless, I think I’d watch again, as it brings with it, a certain calmness, and a M.O.O.D. that feels as if it could be watched with the television muted.

Reviews said Ha Won was a delusional character who only ends up getting accused of attempted murder in thriller dramas, but am I the only one who adores him?

I've seen in one of the reviews here that if you're a patient person then you'll love this story. I've never been a patient person but there's something about this drama that makes me want to come back.

Ha Won is a very beautiful character; I'll thank Jung Hae-in for that. I really can't blame him for not being able to forget about someone who made him feel multiple complicated emotions than made him unable to let go.

I think Seo Woo was a sad character. Her aloofness, her smiles, her persistence of helping, her heart that makes me wanna go aaaah. Underneath the jolly personality, her flaws her pain her past.

I think I've found my comfort drama out of all the dramas I've watched in the years.

The slow-burn pace is something I truly appreciate. I always find the time, passing fast in other dramas that just want to make me stop indefinitely (for no reason at all but my committal issues). This drama just pure solace to me.

I know the story, I've predicted how it'll end but I never knew how - in which way will the leads meet? How will they heal fall in love and let go?

They're just mourning, can you really blame them for doing the things they're doing? It's an imperfect story that is complete in its rawest form.

I rate this 9/10 (SPOILER ALERT) About this drama; Goods : Camera angles, background music & soubdtrack, acting, everything is beautiful. The plot is slow-paced, but that's perfect for me. If you're a patient person, you will surely love this. It is like you're watching 'poetic film' if that makes sense. The male lead is a patient and sincere person, who loves selflessly. Surprisingly, the female lead is the same. Beautiful, warm, bitter-sweet Bads : Basically, the developed AI should be impossible. The AI created based on existing person, but it has memories of their life. This should be impossible, unless you input all the data-the whole life experience and the mind (If you watch Transcendent movie, you'll understand what I mean). But if you ignore the technical part, the other parts is enough to entertain you. This drama was scheduled to be 16 episodes, but due to low viewrate it is shorten to 12 eps. I'm pretty sure it's around eps 9 or 10 when things get rushed, but you will see that they tried their best not to ruin it. In a way, it is a blessing because you won't see the plot dragged on for too long.

Such a sincere, beautiful and calming show with great actors and music. It made me really happy and sad in the same time, such a rare story.

The ratings related story is confusing, but I think the 4 episodes cut made it only better.

Must watch.

stargaze Jan 22 2021 11:43 am Everything. From the episodes, scenes, background music, the acting and chemistry between the leads, the longing and grieve it portrays, heartwarming side stories. It seems that this drama caters to a specific target of audience, those who gravitate towards more melancholic stories, to those who would thought that if poem was a drama then it'd be "A Piece of Your Mind". This drama has left such deep impression for me, it genuinely feels like a drama that would only come once in someone's lifetime. I have rewatched it 3 times and savored every moment, the precious 12 episodes. The only perfectly imperfect drama in my mind (coming from an avid drama watcher), the only drama that I would never get over with. It has been almost a year since I first watched it, I look forward to every single rewatch in the future (PS. I hate rewatching because the plot gets repetitive as I still remember it from the previous watch but somehow, this drama does not bore me. It gets even sweeter; the epiphany when you found a hidden meaning between the leads gesture, tiniest details the writers hid between the plots, ever so beautiful cinematography that has such warm colorings).

Give this one a try if you don't mind slow paced, heartwarming, poetry filled drama.

misslu Jan 09 2021 8:21 am One of my lifetime favorite dramas. The whole episodes are calm, soothing, with necessary aesthetic and conflicts. I am currently stressing out over life, so I prefer dramas of this kind. My another favorite is Because This is My First Life. Both dramas are giving off similar vibes, and the female lead’s characters are strong under calm demeanor with likeable attitude, so it’s easy to find it very relatable.

I watched this drama because of the writer, love her/his work from long time ago, April Snow, On The Way to The Airport etc. I need to watch first episode twice to understand the story and watching the next episodes. After its 4th episodes, I am glued to it. The story is definitely one of the most beautiful I have watched, it's very layered that you can't just watch it without checking its very subtle and detailed scenes. Now I have watched for Nth times and still can't get enough, it's that lovely this show is to romantic people like myself ha ha ha. But I mean it. If you like fast paced bang bang bang drama, this is not suitable for you. It's just for people like Ha Won who loves in "the leaf that touched the ground without making a sound" . That's one of the line from this drama. It's so tender and not for everyone for sure. The actors are cute and delivered their role convincingly. Not a fan of them but their gorgeous looks make it easy for the eyes as well. The music are equally beautiful. In short, it's a gem.

Hanunnsrn Dec 21 2020 6:38 am I've finished this drama since June but I still havent moved on from the story. And I re-watched it haha (I swear I never rewatch any drama before this). They captured the feeling of loss, reassurance, and longing perfectly! It feels like a warm, long hug after a rough day, seriously. Not to mention, the soundtracks are all pretty and the ambience is outstanding. Perfect for a chilly but start to warm up season (winter to spring, I guess?)

The plot is a slow-burn type, and does not contain a lot of serious conflict. Thats why I think this drama is perfect to watch if you dont want something heavy but want a heartwarming and wholesome story. Make sure to check it out and watch at least until episode 3!

I’m at fan of JHI and CSB so of course I had to watch this lol. The pace is slow but it was never boring, surprisingly. The feel is very calming and soothing that it’s very different than the rest of the typical kdramas. There were many sweet and endearing moments that genuinely makes you smile. The acting is superb by everyone from main leads to third and even fourth string characters. Also, every scene is beautifully shot and the ost is used perfectly.

I regret finishing it in only 2 days now I feel empty and need more dramas like APOYM. It is seriously underrated and I can’t stress enough that people need to give this drama a shot.

It is slow paced but I enjoyed it ,it's like reading a book ,the conversations , the OST , and acting. The 12 episodes is just perfect to capture the story. Unique ,great story and good acting.

It's a story about moving on from a loss and how having someone beside you (or "in the air around you") spells all the difference in the world. ❤

The chemistry between Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin is awesome. When Ha Won and Seo Woo hug, you feel warm and comforted as well. Really, this couple doesn't need a prolonged kiss scene with a camera swirling around them (and making us viewers dizzy) to make our hearts flutter. They're just so cute together. And the way they look at each other or hold each other's hand or embrace -- you just feel how pure their love is for one another.

I was pleasantly surprised at Kim Sung Kyu's (who played In Wook, the husband of Ji Soo) acting here. He mostly did action in Kingdom but his dramatic acting here was a revelation for me. He delivered angst so well.

APOYM is a cup of hot chocolate -- best enjoyed slowly while savoring every sip -- on a cold, winter morning. It will break your heart at first, but will slowly bring healing to it just as our couple journeys towards healing themselves. I highly recommend it to those who enjoy the genre.

To those who like fast-paced action, lots of skinship, tropes, fantasy, unrealistic/outrageous scenarios and characters, look elsewhere because this is not for you. ✌

Nisa Oct 15 2020 10:36 am I read a lot of hate comments on this drama that's why I was hesitant to watch this. In my opinion, it was just an okay drama, but Hae-In and Soo-Bin had great chemistry! I just don't like the character of Joo-Hyun here where the story almost entirely circulated about her. But I did get the moral of the story. Great ending but I wish I have seen more romantic moments of the characters of Hae In and Soo-Bin here.

PS: I really love how Jung Hae-In acts, he's great in showing affection to anyone who is paired with him :">

willa Oct 14 2020 2:31 pm if you are looking for a romantic melodrama, this is not for you. They only have one kiss scene, that was more a peck and did not deliver a warm feeling as a viewer. You would love how Hawon gazes on Seowoo though. So dreamy LOL. That is the only saving point of this drama.

And one thing I hate about this drama is the dead first love Jisoo-ya Jisooya Jisooya took 95% of the plot. Maybe because the drama was reduced to only 12 episodes that is why it feels rushed and only concentrated on the Jisoo's plot.

Such a shame because Jung Haein and Chae Soobin delivered their character well. They acted so well. I just wished it was not concentrated on the whole dead first love. Their chemistry could have been explored more if we stop the Jisoo plot at episode 5.

I hope Jung Haein and Chae Soobin could be paired in a romcom again because their talent was such a waste here.

I love Kdramas but I don't understand why some go unfinished, it's like publishing half a book, or a book without a proper ending, or stopping a soccer match half way with no winner. They did this with extreme survival as well.

This is very heartwarming and healing drama in this stressful pandemic. Btw this isn’t highly recommended to watch if you dont like slow-paced drama haha. It's not the typical kdrama, it is so slow, so aesthetic and artictic... maybe that why many viewers did not appreciate it enough... But if you're open to a slow-burn genre, this is super good

But I know for sure that it was one hell of a drama. Very artistic and romantic. This is very literary and therefore much different than your regular romcoms. Only those who can understand complex relationships, good literature and openness will be able to understand this.. I accept that it was a tad bit slow even for itself artsy self, though

this drama brought me so much warmth while watching it. i loved the aesthetics and the cinematography, as well as the ost. Jung HaeIn portrayed his character really well and he had amazing chemistry with Chae Soobin. Please give this healing drama a watch, you will not regret it!

All the stories, with Seo Woo and Ha Won, Soon Ho and In Wook, and the people in Eunjoo's Homestay. So many stories there. I hope Jung Haein and Chae Soobin get to be partnered again in a drama. ?? 10/10 for this drama.

It was very different from the usual love story plots and amongst the K-dramas, I've ever seen. I then found myself falling in love with every character and their stories. I didn't expect I'll be immersed in the story but by watching every episode, my heart just kept aching. The tracks were splendid, and it definitely caught the soul of the drama. The casts were perfect for their roles, not to mention how Jung Hae-in was very dreamy and a versatile actor. Everyone did a great job, especially the production crew. Basing from experience, I can actually feel the soul poured in making this drama possible, as the perspective, framing, lighting, and the camera movements were thought through, therefore, I would definitely rate this drama 10/10. PS Thank you, despite everything that is happening now, watching this drama gave me a whole new perspective of the world. 많은사랑 <3

I found myself immersed in each character’s stories. It’s about letting go of loved ones, accepting the past and seeking closure. It was honestly so moving, I feel like I’ve been healed from things I haven’t even been through! The cinematography was breathtaking and the soundtracks were beautiful to listen to. Not to mention that the leads were perfect for their roles. The more kdramas I watch, the more I realise that the underrated ones are usually the best. Also can we just talk about how dreamy Jung hae in is.... he looks like he gives the best hugs ever!!

Its a story of how two person need each other in their life to heal themselves. Its not that bad somehow. But its not that recommended unless you are a fan of melodrama . But, not for me i guess. I loveeee the song and the music are all appealing to my ears . I would rate it as 6/10 .

I actually read a lot of comments saying that their relationship progress is slow but i think they dont really understand why the progress is slow. They are both healing from a heart ache, especially Ha-won so its unnecessary if they date immediately. I also love the cinematography, at the first episodes it was cool toned, consists of blue and white tones but as the series go on it changes into warm tones emphasizing their progress in moving on. One thing for sure, the introduction to the story is quite boring, I wish they made first 3 episode into one, and put the rest of the cut scenes as flashback instead.

beforedawn May 16 2020 1:19 am I think it was the intention of the writer, this drama was not aimed for a twisted or makjang storyline. It was a healing journey for each character that's why it actually fit the slow pace. I like the pace and the plot, especially it is really different from the usual k-drama tropes. The plot is simple and focus more on the emotion, but it can't be predicted what would be going on because its unfamiliarity. So I just let myself immersing to every scene and it feels fresh and therapeutic. It has some depressing moment to show the characters were struggling on their own grief, but it didn't take long instead this drama directly represents how people could heal each other.

This drama is so beautiful, I don't have any words to describe it because it indeed has beautiful conversations, beautiful cinematography, and beautiful acting.

Soo Ling May 14 2020 4:50 am I don't know but I loved it, the plot is plain there's not much of a character development but the chemistry of Seo Woo and Ha Won was there and it's enough for me to stay hanging although the ratings are so bad, I think the writer was the one lacking and also the film it's so dark. If only the plot was more interesting and hooking then Chae Soobin and Jung Haein's chemistry would've stand out even more.

CK May 13 2020 6:45 pm There wasn’t much of a story here. They fell in love early on, so there was very little tension. The writing wasn’t that good about halfway through the show. They should’ve had Jin Soo come back from the dead or something to rejuvenate the storyline midway through. The boarding housekeeper was very odd as well. She look like a young beautiful woman trying to pretend to be an old lady with no style. if I rewrote the film, I would have her have a makeover and win back the love of the loser who left her. Again, I would have the love interest from the beginning come back after faking her own death to get away from her husband. In addition, I would’ve had the boyfriend find out that she had stolen the device from his home.

The cinematography was gorgeous, the actors were beautiful and had great chemistry, supporting actors had interesting enough storylines that just needed to be developed more. I will give this three out of five stars. However, the male lead is so cute, I will watch anything that he is in!

Instead, IMO, it is a messy melodrama loaded with plot flaws and resultant confusion that is fatal to the narrative; then it finally limps to a truncated end. The justified criticism from a wide range of KDrama lovers is why the makers cut and and dumped the series. Like most here, I love both main leads: but they deserved so much better from the writer and director, and they need to make better choices, too. Jung Hae In, high on my favorites list, is one of the most beloved and charming actors in the world: I would love to see him again.

Ace May 12 2020 7:17 pm I think that dramas like this one are meant to get the right message to a specific kind of people and that's why this drama got 12 ep instead of 16 because people who got the message weren't the ones that it was supposed to reach them but all in all I wish it got the 16 episode not everything is meant for everyone sometimes something's are just meant for certain people plus it's explored something's that most dramas didn't have the guts to a few years back...

Ash May 12 2020 12:51 am Once you get past episode 3, the story starts to move alittle faster. The show reminds me of my childhood, when the Chinese romantic dramas were popular. We called 文艺片，really popular in the early 80s. This has the feel to it, it is not commercial nor mainstream. Not many will be attracted to it, but I do enjoy the drama. It is beautifully presented, the cast are great too. I hope more people will take a step back from their lives and appreciate stories like this one. It is therapeutic, from the music, to the casts' emotions, and all the little details throughout.

The genre is a bitf life so if you're here looking for an action movie this is not it.. It's similar to When the weather is nice.. They're both calm movies and they're so relatable and relaxing. The chemistry between Han Seo Woo and Moon Ha Won was so beautiful.. The writer did a good job and I got their message.. I highly recommend this movie if you're looking for a calm movie, something u can relate to.

I feel really bad for the cast and crew because of the ratings and the shortage of episodes but in all honesty, if they dragged it to be 16 episodes; at the pace the drama was going at the ratings would’ve been worst. So good call !! BUT* I still believe that more could have been done in the drama. There were many missing bits and scenes that just didn’t make sense and it was a pitty !

I personally feel like the whole cast did an awesome job and deserved more. This drama wasn’t enough to showcase how amazing they were.

And To End Off My Review. Can We Talk About The Filters ???!!:$:!:!:?? I don’t know why one earth they filtered this drama but it was super annoying. Every damn scene felt like it was a flash back because of the filter and it freaking confused me 9/10 times !!! Pleaseeeeeeee just use the normal filter instead of adding a rusty look to it cos it really did ruin most of the sentimental scenes. Not that it wasn’t magical. But because it seemed like it was the past, an imagination. It annoyed me so much and I don’t know if anyone else saw it but I couldn’t deal with how much it affects a viewer !!

Overall I’d rate this 5/10 ? A cute drama, with an amazing cast and crew but there were just too many missing gaps in this drama. And the filters threw me off big time.

The casts itself is really good. The plot is also great. Most of them are my favorite actors and actresses. Even the teen actors too. So nice to see so many familiar faces. I was looking forward to it until it got cut to 12ep only. Then all of a sudden the story is super super fast pace at the end. I hope the writer and director learn their lesson. Go back to filming school!!

It was slow in the first 2-3 episodes where it took me few days to even watch 1 episode, but i got curious with the plot so i watched slowly.. but then the pace picked up and i really love the chemistry between Ha Won and Seo Woo.. I can't stop watching from the 4th episode onwards. It was a beautiful story. The ending part appears to be rushed a bit because the episodes were cut.. But i love this drama, its very heartwarming and really touched my heart.. Im gonna miss watching this.. And the soundtracks are nice too.. ❤️❤️

It turns out that this drama like a puzzle game. Put the pieces together one by one then finally forms an image that satisfy my eyes..

It's rare that I give perfect score for a drama and this drama deserve it cause they have everything. They're just too beautiful from story, acting, ost and cinematography.

Dissappointed with tvn for cutting 4 episodes. If they let it be 16 episodes maybe the story of the other casts could be explained more...

Only this drama pinches my heart all the time in all of its episode. I am so sad why it has a low ratong when it is the most wonderful drama series that i ever liked for all time. I don't usually like to watch non-comedy dramas, but this got my attention. It is a very very nice romance drama.

But it just can't capture my attention as I feel the phasing and development of the story is too slow. The script is similar to a Haruki Murakami novel and cinematography is superb it reminds of a Makoto Shingkai movie. Watching it tugs your heart a little bit. Although, it's a melodrama the portrayal of the story is quaint, it wonderfully illustrates how sadness and grief can creep up on us. It shows the invisible weight of sadness on people. I love the fact that there is a silver lining in the story. It's also a tale of hope and how it can grow from 1% to being fully healed. I highly recommend this drama for people who wants somethung soulful, warm, and artsy.

You will be wanting more and follow the next episode.. for me.. The pacing is just right because the theme calls for it.. The main characters portrayal of their roles where there are many scenes that focus on too many nostalgic past.. And those scenes were portrayed quietly. Some might find it too dragging. For me I think they are all needed to best work on the storyline. Jung Hae-In's acting is always as lovable as all of his past works.. But I think the chemistry for the two lead characters is too shy for each other.. ? ? I need to be convinced more.. The director should have tried a little more to extract from his actors their best.. I can sense in some parts that they are unsure on how to attack their roles.. Especially Seon Woo's character.. But.. In all fairness, though the storyline was a gamble but for me.. I loved all the quiet and poignant scenes.. Even if it takes a lot of minutes.. ? ? ? I love the soundtrack as well.. The musical scoring is superb..

I love the way main lead seeing each other, developing love in such a slow and calm path. Not much skinship but their eyesss.... Oh God I can feel they're touching each other just by glaring.

All the dialogues are awesome, just as sweet as romantic poem. All the colours included in each schene was perfect. I feel so warm.

I don't get why the ratings were falling at all. Secondly, it was directed by Lee Sang Yeob-shi. It's nice to see him venturing the field of directing plus the chemistry between CSB and JHI got the feels. Lastly, I'll up once I'm done with the drama. I'm really rooting for this drama to excel. I hope it won't go as another underrated drama.

But since i really love Jung Hae In, I started watching it, and eventually I am already done til Episode 8.I am just waiting for the new episodes. Maybe on the first 2 episodes you still cant understand the plot but as soon as you watched further it turned to be a very exciting series. Please at least make it til episode 16..I also love Chae Soo Bin shes pretty and talented.

E Apr 17 2020 2:57 pm Just finished ep 7 & 8! I’m really loving this drama. I hope people will give it a try despite the low ratings. It’s somewhat new and refreshing, especially after ep 1 & 2. The classical music is also comforting, as well as Soon Ho’s plant babies. Most importantly the loveline between Seo Woo and Ha Won is exciting. I keep on wishing for them to cross the line. Still, there is that giddy feeling (kilig, as we call it in the Philippines) that keeps us all hooked! Still hanging onto that 1% chance that they will extend it back to 16 eps ^^

This drama have a really good story line and excellent casting,,, so if we see from that point of view is impossible to have a low rating,, The reason why the rating is keep getting lower and lower every episode not because of that reason above, the reason is this drama have is just bad timing to air right now, because this drama have a strong competitor particularly for this genre (melo, romance) for its timeslot (mon&tue night) and the other drama for a whole week. for mon & tue we have when the weather is fine, and for another timeslot the whole week we have find me in your memory, welcome a.k.a meow the secret boy, etc. And from early this year we have couple of drama that has similar genre to this drama for example Chocolate and the very famous Crash Landing on You,, so i think ppl are kind of boring to watch this type of drama,,ppl now are enjoying mystery, thriller and action kind of drama.

First time in my 7 years journey with korean drama, I'm enjoying this kind of genre (melodrama/romance/romcom). I was confused why I like this drama so much? bcs of this I tried watch all dramas that I've dropped/skip (including other Jung Haein's drama as male lead). In the end, I can't bear watch those dr.

Then I realize what're the reasons. This drama beautifuly crafted. Cinematography, ost, story, actors, everything. How they put small details and relationship between characters kind relate to my life / maybe our real life? (seriously guys, their small details are crazy?, I didn't notice it at first but after rewatched, it turns out they consistent since first ep, BAAM?)

Yes the plot's so slow in the beginning and not everyone taste but I understand why they did it. Imagine you love someone for years then she/he leaved you. For me, I can't directly move on next day(ofc), maybe need months or even years. That's why they need some episodes to make main lead move on. As episode going, each casts finally found their own way to heal the wound☺️

Also saw people say they're confuse with first-two episode because there are so many things unexplained. Trust me guys, this drama 'need time' too, just like suspense/mistery drama looking for physcopath between them?. Slowly but sure they'll explain it to you what was happen.

Those who works behind also doing great job. Cinematography no need to explain. Way they input classical music for each scene (making some scene get intense with dark vibe-maybe- but still warmth). I'm in love with their OST. Literaly all of them? *Those who want/need to get heal by music or like classical music, go listen their OSTS ?* Feel grateful that main lead play piano while other who act as violinist/celloist/etc is musicians (cause cello/violin hard to fake and need months of practice. Anyway they all here play it for real?). If it's not maybe my Ling Ling's soul will get triggered and gonna drop this drama (hands up twosetviolins subscribers?). Since it's not happen, I'm so happy?

Dialogues of this drama. Their dialogue is so real and poetic, I can take notes and feel cured by their conversation. Chemistry between main lead is so bomb?? I can't- they barely do skinship but did it affectionatly. Too cute to handle, neither cliche nor cringe. Help Meh- It's rare to see this in Korean drama world (Slowly the genre becoming rom-com too haha)

Conclusion. This drama like a morning tea/coffee, chills, relaxing and may heal you. Best of the best. I've another premise. You guys know how many people love classical music? They're minority in this world, aren't they? A Piece of Your Mind situation is similar. It's obviously an art yet many people said that's boring. They can't stand, too old, outdated, etc. But, for us (minority) this is worth to watch and have a special place in our heart??.

I'm so sorry and please understand me writing this long essay? because it's my first underrated drama?If I fluent Korean maybe I'll tell this to their haters at there too? sadly I just know what they said and reply it with simple sentences, can't explain further. I'm getting emotional/annoyed when read those hate comments toward actors/actress/writer. It's not their fault, stop blaming them. It's just you that have different taste with me.

It is slow-paced drama and full of emotions; that's what I like best about it. I especially love watching it at night, when I get sentimental hehe. I don't get why people have the need to complain about it just because they aren't into slow dramas. I really recommend this drama if you like late-night, soft, gentle moods.

It's basically watching beautiful people heal from past trauma in a time frame similar to sitting in a beautiful room and watching paint dry. I can't see many people enjoying this outside of diehard fans of the lead performers. This is coming from someone that doesn't mind slow pacing when there's a compelling story ... but there's like no story here. Just slow babbling about their past trauma and these drops of hints that the two main characters may like each other (duh?).

I don’t want to spoil anything but I think you’ll really be hooked and invested once the storyline is established, probably in episode 3. I’m so excited for the next episodes! Although at first, during the first episode I found it to be quite 'slow-paced', but suddenly this drama grows on me, just like how Ha Won and Jisoo grow on Seo Woo. This drama is so poignant and beautiful in every aspect, making it a rare masterpiece nowadays, as not many kdrama take the risk like this drama does. And so, knowing that they cut down 4 episodes sadden me terribly. I hope the director won't be discouraged by the ratind continue this heartfelt story. vxi Apr 10 2020 1:45 am people say it’s slow paced and drags the storyline but for me it’s actually just fine. This drama is amazing and captivating. It isn’t easy to get over someone’s death nor is to like someone new after losing the person you liked for 10 years.

This drama is refreshing, sad, and beautiful. Because to be honest, sometimes it gets tiring to watch kdramas where in the leads fall in love too quickly when they’ve only just met.

I can relate so much to Seo woo. Her one sided love reminds me of myself. How the smallest things that my crush does makes me happy and how my day brightens just because i know i’d be able to see him.

In reality, for most of us, love is slow. love doesn’t always have to be returned. seeing him and being there for him is enough.

I‘ve cried A LOT because of this kdrama and i really hope they’d follow the original storyline and return it to 16 episodes. Just like Ha Won, i would love to see how Seo Woo’s one percent goes and i’d like to watch them a little bit more longer.

Every viewers have different taste, so please do consider those who appreciate these types of moving art. It's really very soothing to our eyes, ears, mind and soul.

Sometimes we do look for soft romantic countryside seaside garden parks with flowers breeze cool air windy fresh air for a change in our lives....when life becomes difficult that's what soothes us....our inner feelings.

This drama too slow because of the title itself, but i love melodrama genre, and i like to watch female and male character handle their feeling for people they care with mature ways.I hope the rating for this drama will increase and tvn return back our 4 episode... The pacing is good now why do they have to do it abruptly also it make sense that he can't easily let go of Jisoo as the moving on process is not usually easy. Can't they focus on how their relationship on how they will both grow to another like Hawon supporting Seowoo with her dreams and helping her heal as well and help her to forgive herself with the loss of their parents.

I don't think it reduced due to negative review or less AGB gradually. If it is the reason, I am the one of them who will be disappointed. The director is doing wonderful work and he deserves appreciation. By the way, I love this drama like hell. Also, I recommended for them who loves to think, loves to love people,feel their nearest person and so on. I 'll wait for this drama till then end. Good Luck :)

aria Apr 08 2020 2:23 am I really enjoy the romance that grows between Seo Woo and Ha Won, their romantic chemistry is soft, warm, and calming in a way, so I’m very sad to know that they cut this drama into 12 episodes. The things that don’t make sense to me is the device, his feelings towards Jisoo which feels too much but luckily he is now aware of it, and how everything about Jisoo is being too romanticized. However, I really love how this drama gives me a warm and calm feeling from the characters and storyline, and that’s all I want from this drama.

They havent shown how the device helps with patient therapy. They should proceed showing how Ha Won's project helps other people rather than focusing too long on Ji Soo. First five episodes were all about Ji Soo. I enjoyed watching Ha Won and Seo Woo tho, so I feel sad knowing they cut down 4 episodes. ?

At first you will probably be a little confused as to what the characters are doing and will wonder why certain things happen but all of that gets answered. You just have to stick with it and continue watching it, it is beautiful and certainly not your typical cliche drama. I only wish that they would focus more on the main character's relationship instead of only having the male lead obsessed with his first love. Hopefully in the upcoming episodes they will have more moments together and will interact with each other, as of now they only seem to come together to talk about someone else.

This is one of those kdrama gems the general public is missing out on. I have no words to describe this one- literally. Janet Apr 05 2020 6:44 pm This is so under rated. I agree with the others that it is beautiful. It does seem slow but it draws you in , touches your heart and makes you want to see more. Jung Hae In & Chae Soo Bin are doing a great job and you can feel the wonderful believable synergy between them. There are some inconsistencies but hoping it will be resolved later on. Why fall in love with a guy whose whole world is another? JHI makes you fall in love with him, you feel his anguish from Ji Soo choosing someone else. Love,being in love and being great friends is well portrayed emotionally by JHI

I am really loving this drama and am disappointed it is not getting better ratings.

Every kdrama i see nowadays are continuous and the plot is so predictable and overused. this drama has a deep meaning and its slow but im okay with that. It is going to help me become close to the actors and actresses and to the drama as a whole. I want this to be emotional. Of course, they're not going to explain everything in the first few episode. that is going to ruin the whole point of the drama. Honestly, a good drama so far and i can't wait for the ending.

MXH Apr 01 2020 6:50 am I agree that it's a bit confusing watching ep 1 and 2, but now in episode 4, things start to fall into places. We were kept in the dark what the relationship amongts the characters were, so everything seemed over-dramatized and confusing.

Even the supporting characters, it has just been revealed why so and so was so angry or happy about something.

So now I am looking forward to watching more. Because so far every one in the cast is doing a good job.

So maybe producers and writers with this kind of sense always catching after Hae In. What I can say? He is perfect with those warm eyes, sweet smile and everything about him just matches for those character.

lovinit Mar 31 2020 5:08 pm I've been an avid kdrama fan for a very very long time now, and despite having watched so many dramas, there's one habit I tend to have- I watch them in 2x, sometimes 1.5x speed. Weird? Not when you're used to it. However, this drama, is spectacular. It's very slow-paced, but I watch it at normal (1x) speed. This means a lot for someone like me. The characters have very little to say (few dialogues) but the emotions each character portrays fills up the void. The cast is amazing. I've never felt this attached to a character- EVER. I fell connected to the characters, especially Seo-Woo (Chae Soo Bin). (mini spoiler warning ⚠️) The way I literally threw my headphones and ran around the house after experiencing second hand embarrassment for her. Needless to say, this drama's definitely a must watch.

I always look forward to him being able to play a brave and decisive, strong roles. Even the story line is always taken a sad romantic story. I still don't understand why. But I hope that in the future he can get out of the role of the comfort zone at this time.

The theme / moral of this story is so deep. It's so meaningful and well-thought-out. The more you watch it, the more the story will unfold. It's that type of drama that will make you come up with theories on what really happened. You have to really analyze the plot to understand everything.

It might be really confusing at first but I promise that if you keep watching, everything is going to fit together like a puzzle.
