The chemistry between the main leads is undeniably powerful, natural, and captivating. Can't hardly wait his next project.

Tutti Dec 05 2025 12:07 pm Although I enjoyed Love Next Door and although Haein had some great acting moments there, I feel like romcoms are a waste of his talent. IMO, he's at his absolute best in serious roles like Ahn Junho in D.P. and LIm Suho in Snowdrop. I need to see his acting skills stretched beyond their limits because I know he's capable of giving so much more.

Of course I'm still looking forward to Lovestuck/This Sh!tty Love as, according to him, it's a combination of many genres.

Also, I'd love to see him in a straight up action drama, like The Manipulated. Kdrama gods, please?

Don't get me wrong, I admire many Korean actors, with most of them being senior actors (Hwang Jungmin, Ryu Seungryong, the late Lee Sunkyun, and lots more). For me, he is one of the best actors of his generation. His acting is natural, subtle, understated, yet very powerful. My favorites are D.P., One Spring Night and Something in the Rain. I love his other dramas too but for me these 3 are standouts. I'm eagerly awaiting his next drama Lovestuck.

And besides being lovely what a fabulous actor. this particular show is a little light and airy but I'm watching it because two of my favorite actors are in it.. and it's a break from all the violence on the screen and on this Earth.

It's amazing how even his short appearance in "12.12: The Day" has been much praised and talked about.

Since then, I've devoured his filmography (the only one I haven't watched is Bride of the Century) and have seen his evolution from a newbie actor in The Three Musketeers to his seasoned, amazing portrayal of Ha Dongsoo in Connect.

His acting is natural and sensitive; he inhabits the characters he portrays; he's great at eye acting and microexpressions; he's also great in modulating his voice in expressing emotions and also in portraying different characters; he can easily switch from sweet and gentle one moment, to sad and anguished the next, to cold and cruel; his eyes speak volumes; he expresses every emotion so well. I've watched close to 100 kdramas, he's the only actor of his generation whose acting touches my soul. I admire the love and passion he gives to every role. Brilliant, excellent actor! Looking forward to all your future works.

Bb Jan 13 2023 9:20 am That Jung Haein is an exceptional and versatile actor is already a well-established fact by now. Before watching Connect, I knew he'd do well but I didn't expect a mindblowing performance because of its thriller/sci-fi genre. But boy, he blew me away AGAIN with his brilliant portrayal of Ha Dongsoo! He made the "monster" very human, you feel his every emotion: loneliness, fear, confusion, anxiety, anger, and lots (and lots) of pain. What's even more impressive is it's his first time acting with CGI. At this point, I believe he's one of the best actors of his generation; and at the rate he's going, I can already see that he's going to have a long and fruitful acting career ahead of him.

Idk if any people realize this but Jung Hae In has a very great charisma that would make you fall in love at the first sight. He also nailed every character he had. The story line is timely as bullying is becoming much more prevalent in unquestioned authoritative environments. So much more to tell in the story.

I watch your films on Netflix (USA) so I am not sure what other viewers see, however 6 episodes is not enough. Please know I am looking for a second season with more than 6 episodes Thank you for listening to my frustration

His character Ahn Junho is stoic with little dialogue, but you can see his feelings thru his eyes, facial expressions and even in the tone of his voice. Very nuanced acting, never over-the-top, never lacking and always on point. And in those instances when his character was pushed to the edge, his rage and grief will crush your soul. Such a solid performance from a fine young actor!

He is more than a pretty face , he gives an accomplished performance in both “ one Spring Night “ and “ Something in the rain “ . He radiates kindness and serenity , his face is so expressive that he can turn from smiling to crying in a moment , from relaxed to tense and angry . His smile is infectious, his tenderness warming , his whole personality warm-hearted . He is totally in tune with his characters . It is difficult in the West ( GB) to have access to Korean sites not speaking the language , but I wish all the cast of “One spring night “ the best in their career and may Netflix continue to broadcast their work .

Din-chan Jul 31 2020 4:49 pm I really love how Hae-In portrays his characters. There is so much warmth and realness in each character. All the characters are different - and all have that warmth in common. The changes in his facial expressions when he plays are a kind of subtle magic.

I also enjoyed getting to know him in his New York trip show. I would love to see more of this side of him too, as I wonder what loving himself first means and which healthy forms it can take. I wonder if I can learn something from that, as choosing me is really hard for me.

I just hope for him to try another role, looking at him in the same romance dramas is kinda tiring. On the otherhand, he also fits the role in action dramas/movies and i think he'll be good at. His face is for every genre of acting actually especially for action. I hope he tries to do rom-com someday too. Over-all he's really good plus he's just soooo good looking! Really! An experience because Jung Hae In is brilliant and so are his respective co stars and with every emotion they displayed, I too had the chance to feel and undertand it. The way he acted his scenes and for containing his emotions, man I wouldn't mind him working on the same genre since the man can act and we can't deny Jung Hae In on melo-romance is so charming and dreamy that I could cry, his improvements as an actor, ugh he's so good there.

I wish he didn't do the humiliating fan meetings though. Perhaps in Korea he has to do this, it may be a cultural thing, but I wish he could be refusing such dumb shows that treat him like some teeny popper.

This is a serious actor with tremendous potential.

And i hope you have a second season where we can see the fulfilling ending of the couple.i really wanted that they have a very nice ending. i'm too can relate in the story ,such series seems to me a stress reliever from my day to day routine.although epi 16 seems has a happy end but i don't know why i'm sad and got teary eyed.maybe something is missing and lacking.     The actors played their part beautifully with superb skill.  I felt as though aimknew all of them personally..  I compare this series with the same depth of emotion of love as America’s Outlander....have binged watched this 3 times over.  The best acting I have seen in many a year.

Grace Oct 05 2014 1:30 am OMG, I totally was having flashback to Park Shi Hoo, not only he looks a lot like a younger version in Three Musketeers, his facial gestures are like hime...of course, I thought he did resemble PSH in Bride of the Century...but TTM its even more so. Like his presence, of course I am bias because I am PSH fan.
