Hee-Tae (Uhm Tae-Woong) met his future wife, Il-Ri (Lee Si-Young), when he worked as a temporary biology teacher at an all girls high school. Il-Ri was a student there.

Now, Hee-Tae works as a fishery researcher and spends his days in a typical marriage. One day, he learns that his wife is having an affair with a carpenter (Lee Soo-Hyuk). He becomes angry for the first time, but decides to keep his family and wife.

leggow Sep 19 2022 11:35 am I decided not to continue watching this drama after episode 4, I know it's too soon to judge, but I was just very disappointed to il ri. There's no any valid reason for cheating, you can always make a choice to stop and end your marriage, if you really want to be with another man. The fact that she still kept on coming to kim june's place and giving him motives even after the first kiss she had with him, was a very redflag. I don't like that. Hee tae wasn't a perfect husband clearly, but no one deserves to get cheated on.

It is beautifully human (not just cast with beautiful humans).

The first two episodes are very different in tone, but meant to show how the couple moved ahead without learning to fully communicate, also how how many gaps there were between them, and how large those gaps in maturity/ways of life were. He then abandons her to his family in a way, to focus on his work/interests as usual, though neither of them recognize it is too much for her. Her work had become her only outlet, where she is 'herself'. Enter Carpenter Kim.

The meaning of the beginning is that she was a very interesting girl, lively, out of the ordinary with a lot of dreams and imagination. Married life flattened her, erased her personality and robed her off her dreams.

prettytoeti Aug 12 2019 3:25 am Good drama. Overall it's not about cheating itself. It's about the consequence of the actions. It hurts lots of people. It's a real portray of the life we have. It could happens to all of us. Who knows that we will be attractive to someone else when we're in the relationship with our life partner. How we deal with it, that's the important thing. And when it comes to Lee Soo Hyuk, i can't promise hat my heart will not wavering.. hahaha... love him..

Rshadows Oct 15 2018 2:00 pm Is no one going to comment about the beginning of the drama?! I just started watching this show, and I'm finding it hard to make it through the first episode. Like what's the deal with all the ufo talk and the giant fish floating towards her in the sky?!?! What does any of that have to do with the plot line of the story? So far it seems like it's kind of all over the place.

I started watching this drama because of the main plot about her cheating on her husband with Lee Soo Hyuk. I did not intend on it being about some crazy chick who sees/talks to aliens.

Can someone please explain the point of all that.....

CKW Mar 08 2018 1:50 am I have such strong opinions for and against all three leads. At one moment I was sympathising with them and in the next they made me raging mad and made me wanna smack their heads hard. Without spoiling I shall try to summarise them:

Kim Joon - He, on the one made me pity him as he was in love with a married woman who didn't want to leave her husband making his love unrequited regardless of if she sought companionship in him or not. But on the other hand his desperation to get her and his need to keep interfering in her and her husband's matter made he dislike him. Nonetheless, I do not deem him a complex character and I liked him the least out of them all.

Hee Tae - Meanwhile I felt bad for him throughout the show, I also felt intense resentment towards him well tbh mainly due to his family for their treatment of Il Ri. While they weren't outright mean or rude to her, they did drive her to do things as if she was their maid. Their action wasn't his fault, but I got mad thinking he never stopped them. He wasn't perfect but no one deserves a cheating spouse. What enhanced my rage towards Il Ri and sympathy towards Hee Tae was that Hee Tae's father was a constant cheater, so her action was even more callous.

Il Ri - Out of these three. Il Ri made me rage the most. If a relationship isn't working you talk with each other and try to work it out or get separated. Cheating is the cowardly way out. It's even worse than physical adultery if you cheat on your spouse emotionally. Her excuse that she "didn't sleep with him (Kim Joon)" made me shake my head hard. Also I did not like how she kept insisting that Hee Tae should've tried harder to understand her because they were together for years. When your thoughts linger to someone other than your spouse, then the trust is broken. You just cannot expect your significant other to try to understand you of why you fell for another.

By the end, I just wished all of the characters would get over themselves and go the separate way. I did not like how the show ended. But nonetheless was an enjoyable drama.

On a side note, I probably enjoyed the banters and interaction between Ki Tae and Yi Ri more than the main characters.

Monsy Nov 04 2017 3:12 pm I have watched this drama more than once and I always like it even though I always hate these kind of drama. That's weird indeed. Why do I think it is a beautifully made sad drama. I love how their relationship faced trials, how she begged for forgiveness then gave up and looks so happy with KJ and ends up going back to his husband. I didn't judge her for her choices because there are many factors which affect her decisions. Her choices seems logical.

Sunny Dec 06 2016 5:24 pm I just want to say, this is one of those dramas that show some girls can excuse a cheater or someone who is willing to have an affair with a married person just because they find that person (in this case, Lee Soohyuk) "better-looking." While some people may have their own reasons for supporting Il-Ri and KJ's relationship, many of these people who are angry about the ending are just Lee Soohyuk's fangirls. There is nothing likable about KJ. HT wasn't perfect, but he wasn't bad to his wife either. I don't blame their relationship problems on him entirely because Il-Ri was also to blame for their lack of communication. And that also gave no reason for her to cheat. There's actually a lot more I can say about this drama and the characters, but I'll end it here.

TMT Jun 04 2016 10:58 pm The ending was most contentious many could not understand why kim il ri of her choice. Perhaps this may shed some light into the decision. There are 2 very important scene that represented it,

The first is the scene depicting when il Ri woke up from coma...it shows visually who she was expecting and communicated this to the audience she still love her husband. I suspect many do not understand this due to the story shows the alternative was so so much better and tempting. But i believe this is close to reality. People after marrying for love for so many years how would it be possible that there is no love for your husband or wife despite the circumstances? and most crucially the estranged husband at that point in time has decided to love her by setting her free and sincerely wished for her happiness.

The second and most crucial scene also very closely resembles reality is when the wife ask "Do you really want me to leave?" What she really wanted to hear is "No i do not want you to leave, i want you to stay very desperately and love you very very much but because i love you so much, i want you to be happy". In the drama instead of getting what she wants to hear is represented in the scene of the chair that the husband ordered for her made by the other man who love her. She understood it by his action instead of words and decided then to stay.

It could have gone either way. However whichever way she chooses in reality one would still have to work to make the relationship work. There is no guarantee no matter who she chooses, in reality as long as both person in the relationship do not give up and work with each other compromises and understanding each other together it can work out.

sara Oct 19 2015 8:50 am I keep reading this comments and I'm surprised how people didn't like the ending . I believe it was perfect. if I was the writer I would have done the exact same thing. A conservative old fashioned woman like il ri could never choose to really be with joon even though she lost her family for him. and a broken marriage is very very hard to fix and I think that's why you don't see her back to her husband either. And I just OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOved how Joon said his hands were still warm meaning that he still loved her until the end . We are all humans and even though we know what is wrong and what is right we make mistakes. Yes we know we shouldn't cheat, we know marriage is sacred and for life, we know we should not raise a hand on a woman . but God who are we to judge ?? we are not perfect. no one is. some are weak and some are just a bit stronger. anyhow I'm rooting for the director and the writer. excellent Job.

Melissa Jul 13 2015 9:53 pm Somehow adultery theme always intrigue me. First affair drama I watched was (part of) Bad Guy with Shim Gun Wook and Tae Ra, where Kim Nam Gil portrayed such an attractive love interest. I can't help but comparing KNG and LSH character on their role as seductress, and I think Valid Love felt much tamer compare to that subplot in Bad Guy. I feel Soo Hyuk needs to explore more side/ variety in his acting so he can be as captivating as other more veteran actors. LSH is totally hot here, but... his acting and expression can use some improvement to add more impact. In Valid Love, the script and directing helped him a lot - whereas in comparison, it was mainly KNG's acting performance in Bad Guy factored in establishing the character more strongly.

Boon Ang Jun 07 2015 4:43 am I have watched Valid Love twice - "chewed on it" and tried to "digest" it well. Let me share some "food for thought" with you. Most would agree that the theme of this narrative/story is about love, marriage, family, and personal growth with infidelity as a catalyst to flesh out these issues. My meta-review (review of reviews by others), highlight an important perspective in the Valid Love discourse. It has to do with the recurring ideas and references (motifs) about food and food-related words, symbols, images, and idioms employed to elucidate the narrative. I do not know if these were employed by Kim Do Woo intentionally or if I have "bitten off more than I could chew". If she did so intentionally and by design, I would consider Valid Love one of the best Kdramas ever. Let's consider some of these in greater detail.

First thing on the menu, we need to understand the significance of food motifs to the entire narrative. IR's philosophy of food is best expressed when she declares to her mother at lunch during the strike: "Do you know what is most important now? We are all hungry. We have to eat so we can fight each other, research, and cut wood". As a fish researcher, HT helped make fish affordable to Koreans, she boasted to KJ. Her own mother was a cook at the hospital by profession and her sister worked part-time in a cafe. IR called HT "myeongtae" or "pollock" - a popular dinner table dish in Korea. On the other hand, HT likened IR to a mackerel (seems like something "fishy" going on with the couple).

Clearly, food was important to IR. Remember HT first meeting with IR during the civil drill. She vehemently blamed HT for delaying her. But the moment she started eating the food HT treated, she mellowed, withdrew her verbal assault, and "forgave" him. After they made up quarrelling over HS's institutionalisation, HT offered to buy her spicy rice cakes. With KJ, she "cooled down" and was refreshed by the iced popsicle he bought her after their chase. Seems like food soothed IR. And what was one reason why she turned down KJ's proposal to go south with him? "My favourite cafe (only XYZ Cafe) and restaurants (the one she frequented with HT) are here, among other excuses like being born and raised here, my friends (only one I can think of that she maintains contact with - bestie) are here...." If she really loved KJ enough, she have given such an filmsy and unromantic excuse? Poor man!

Second, to better understand this narrative, we have to adopt the food as communication perspective espoused in the social sciences, particularly the premise that "food is symbolic of love when words are inadequate". In Asian societies, "love is rarely communicated verbally but through actions, metaphors, symbols, and words". Let me direct you to evidence in support of this perspective.

Starting with IR and HT. The meals she prepared for him, before and after breakup comprised more elaborate meals including 4-8 side dishes, excluding her winning bean paste stew (which was better than any of his friends' wives can cook). She cooked up and brought him an elaborate conciliatory lunch for HT the next day after her affair was discovered. I can imagine how hurt she felt when HT rejected it and to see the food all spilled to the floor. After forgiving MK for photographing her & KJ, she asked HT if he wants lunch and was about to prepare it when HT rejects her offer. When she returned to MIL's house after her illness was discovered, she prepared a four course dinner for HT before leaving to inform KJ that she was moving into the house. Recall the number of critical incidents when IR asked if HT had eaten? Amongst the many, I draw your attention to three: When she regained consciousness in the ICU ward she mistook KJ for HT and asked him if he had eaten (KJ could not stomach it any longer so he left); When they met at the road intersection, She asked HT if he had any love left for her. His stomach responded with a growl and she asked if he had lunch; During the conversation at the apartment, HT confessed that he mistook feeling bad for IR as love and lamented that she was leaving now. What did IR say? I'll make your dinner and she cooked HT an eight course dinner with her winning bean paste stew again. Later, when HT returned to work, he confessed to SY that he reconciled with IR and was eating her cooking.

Now contrast this with KJ. He only ate meals mostly comprised of instant ramen without eggs and/or instant rice without the basic kimchi or radish side dish. When he ordered jjajangmyun, he rarely had other side orders (except the meal he had with MK). Most meals KJ offered IR were just instant ramen (with eggs and one pickled side dish upon demand). On the day he offered her kimbap and grilled sweet potatoes, he got to kiss and hug her. On another occasion, when they went sledding and KJ treated her to an elaborate meal at the motel, he got to hold her hands and sleep next to her. I cannot imagine what IR would succumb to if he treated her to a banquet!

Think about the start of IR's relationships with HT & KJ. They were all at meals. In the case of HT at the restaurant during civic drill and KJ during working lunches. IR serenaded HT before proposing with the pollock song and IR "charmed" KJ with the ramen song - both about food. HT ate a meal with IR before and after he returned from his graduate studies. IR propositioned HT after paining his business sign with an "invitation to treat" (a solicitation to offer with no obligations in contract law) by complimenting KJ that he made good coffee and ramen (don't need much culinary skills for this) and she would stop by for it in the future. How brazen? No wonder KJ could not resist the affair. IR only desired ramen (an instant food) and coffee (a stimulant) from KJ. If love is really connected to food, one can only surmise that IR was looking for heart thumping quickie love from KJ (hope she doesn't get a cardiac arrest). Obviously KJ wasn't the main course or meal, only a side dish. In contrast, her meal with HT comprised multiple courses. This speaks volumes about IR's relationship with KJ.

Later on, after IR rejected HT's invitation to return home and after he rescued her, I think she relented and decided to give KJ a chance. That was when she cooked him the first meal of curry and one side dish (what I saw in the table). Notice it was curry and not her winning bean paste stew yet and there was only one side dish. Now when she offered to cook him dinner, they were at the supermarket and could have bought all the necessary ingredients for bean paste stew or any other side dishes. I wonder if KJ knows that IR's only offered him a slim chance.

IR's mum loved HT. She communicated her affection by cooking him his favourite spicy beef soup. When IR gave KJ the soup meant for HT, I thought that it signalled her shifting affection and development of their affair. IR's mum loved HT & IR so she bought and served HT fresh cockles/clams to try to settle HT & IR's marital problem and that was when she learned it was IR having an affair (that must have been "hard to swallow"). HT's mum also prepared IR an elaborate meal of her favourite food to apologise for slapping her and she waited for IR's return to eat it. IR came home after her "cathartic therapy" session at KJ's and claimed she had no appetite - probably had a quickie at his place. HT's mum brought her mistaken heartthrob "Mr Jang" a flask of some beverage and later cooked him two elaborate meals. IR's mum taste tested three chocolate concoctions at XYZ and found the bitter (a precursor of the bitter truth of IR's infidelity.

Moving on, let's examine some food-related words and symbols in the Valid Love narrative. There's the apple which appear three time. IR wanted to taken by the UFO to Andromeda to plant an apple tree. Her admirer then, a teenaged boy, asked HT, whom IR introduced as her boyfriend, if he would be willing to to plant an apple tree for her. After some gestured prodding, HT affirmed he would. Interestingly, he brought her a bag of apples after they reconciled when she waited for his return (you didn't plan this, Do Woo?). IR tricked HT with an adapted Garden of Eden story about Eve's temptation to eat the apple. The apple in this Biblical account was a "forbidden fruits" from the tree of good and evil. IR took a bite from an imaginary apple, gave it to HT, and declared it was sour. Although she used this as a joke to escape punishment, the apple IR gave represented temptation (to her wiles), sin (improper for teacher to date and like students), and a sour tasting fruit (I guess, in the throes of his hurt, the imaginary apple IR gave must have tasted sour and bitter - it had gone bad. KJ also shared the Apple glimmer romance song that entranced IR. The lyrics of the song speaks about beckoning the love you long for... the love you cannot speak of is a red wild apple (crab apple)... the love lit apple is calling softly.... What a romantic image? So seductive! Incidentally, the latin root word for apple is "malum" and is often linked to another latin word "mali" which means "bad". Other images about food and love surfaced when HT rejected IR's plea to reconcile after the strike, she broke down and was warded for malnutrition (and I thought she ate lunch at the strike) and HS constipated after IR stopped looking after her. KJ brought HT soushi to "apologise" and Consider IR complaints about being "hungry" on her outing with KJ and to the ski resort, was she implying she was "hungry" and starved for love? I don't know. But it's an interesting image to speculate on. This is not improbable because she wondered if "I am being greedy" twice - once with HS and another time during her sac sac attack. HT, on the other hand, proclaims that he is not greedy (does not covet). So is IR too greedy? Hope she doesn't suffer indigestion later.

There were also several food-related idioms employed in the story. KT threatened YR that she would be "eating beans and rice" (prison food) for assaulting him. HT told KT. IR's mother scolded her for "crapping on her plate" when she learned of her affair. HT narrated that IR had another side dish - KJ. IR poured KT ramen into to sink and told him something like " if he doesn't work, he should eat".

Lastly, I want to recount a story recorded on IR's cell phone that she told HS. It was about this old couple. The wife had been incapacitated and her husband chewed her food for her. He did this for 11 years. IR says "it was like kissing dozens of times a day. In that kiss, there was nourishment - you can't live even a day without food and nourishment. Is that love?" IR declares she can and would do that for her husband too. If it was HT, she can do it well (but she may need more practice with KJ?).

I concede that my literary analysis off the food motif is non exhaustive. But if I go on further it might be seen as verbal diarrhea. Suffice to say that if one were to examine these motifs, words, symbols, idioms, and metaphors closely, you would conclude that IR did not love HT and KJ equally (half-half). This is borne out in her decision to end it with KJ. Interesting to note that IR brought him kimbap that didn't bust at its side to a breakup meal - it's like she's returning him a similar meal. Well, time to quit. Eat your hearts out.

Boon Ang Jun 04 2015 7:19 am Sorry for another posting. But I felt compelled to respond to many of the earlier postings expressing disappointment that IR didn't end up with KJ. I must underscore that my comments infringe on the script writer's prerogative but I thought to just share it.

I can empathise with their feelings but for very different reasons. First, KJ deserves IR. She is a serial cheater (and she admitted being unfaithful, not going all the way with him, and making him anxious) - She was unfaithful to HT and now KJ! Second, the script writer should glorify their valid, passionate, epic love. Better still, Valid Love could have ended by episode 18 if KJ's reckless driving had killed them both on their way south. That way, HT can finally find peace and forgive IR - he cannot hate a dead person, right? Maybe he can find love with SJ then.

Third, many have found HT too old and his genes to be inferior to KJ's, who was young, fitter, and better looking. But clearly lacking in IQ, which tends to be be inherited and nurtured in an enriched environment. Of course, if KJ and IR had children they would end up as great painters and carpenters. Personality-wise, they could inherit KJ's poor social skills (EQ), pathological jealousy, and obsessive-compulsive personality in addition to IR's free spirit and cheating ways.

Dead or alive, IR and KJ would make an ideal couple and raise great kids who cannot go beyond 7X3 in their multiplication.

Boon Ang Jun 03 2015 3:05 am I watched Valid Love and read some consequent reviews and comments about it. Although many may disagree with me, I think the acting (UTW, LSY, LSH, & CYJ), scripting (compliments to Kim Do Woo), and direction was superb.

I do not see a need for us, as viewers, to dictate our favored outcomes for respective actors and actresses in the plot. I am more interested to understand the story. Valid Love is not easy to understand as many posters have acknowledged. There are a few questions in my mind after watching the series:

1. Did HT truly love IR and vice versa (was it mere infatuation and/or mistaken guilt)? 2. Did KJ truly love IR and vice versa (was it infatuation or escapism)? 3. Did IR love HT more than KJ?

(HT was her soulmate she told him in front of KJ; She confessed her love for HT in front of both men but never told KJ she loved him in private or in presence of HT & KJ; She declared that she wanted to stay married to HT in private and in presence of HT & KJ. In fact, the closest she came to it was to say she always wanted to sleep holding hands with her boyfriend - yet never declared that KJ was her boyfriend directly. Contrast this to the time she had school-girl crush for HT where she told her boyfriend-admirer that HT was her boyfriend and to her friends that HT was her property patent; and lastly she never badgered or told KJ for marriage, like she did with HT.)

She addressed HT privately and in both men's presence as "dangsin" or "dear" (and "honey" as seen in some subtitles). On the other hand, she only used "dangsin" honorific for KJ in private during time when KJ asked her "What am I to you?

I'd like to hear your feedback and comments to better understand the story.

There're plenty of debate on who Il Ri should end up with, but I do believe the writer never meant for this drama to be a "Hee Tae vs Joon" match. At the core of the story, it was and always been a love story of Il Ri and Hee Tae and how both of them rode through the ups and downs of a typical marriage. Uhm Tae Woong is an excellent actor but for the sake of changing perspective, would the general audience's feeling of who Il Ri should end up with change if the main male lead was Ji Sung or Hyun Bin? I wonder...anyway two thumbs up for Valid Love!

Mami Feb 13 2015 8:21 pm Finished watching Valid Love 2 days ago and I must say that I was amazed and very much satisfied with the drama. The characters are realistic and they are able to deliver the lines with matching subtle expressions. Those subtle expressions brought out the hidden emotions of the characters.

At first, I was skeptical to watch this (being an affair themed drama was totally not my style and I would hate to see a 3rd party sleazy guy having an affair with a housewife) but I was totally wrong. Lee Soo Hyuk's character was very lovable. I can't bring myself to hate him or curse him. He portrayed the loneliness, the sadness and his passion well. His yearning for Il Ri and his desire to have her heart only to him was for me, very touching. The drama also leaves many life lessons here and there.

I rooted for il Ri and Kim Joon since the start but the ending never made it happen. I was just saddened by the finale cause I was hoping that Kim Joon would have a happier ending with the girl he loves .

I am glad that I watched this drama. It's really good and its been years since I watched a really good one. Somehow, I was hoping for a continuation of Carpenter Kim's love story.

I don't much like the lead actress. Her face annoys me. This isn't hate, I just think she's gone too far with the plastic surgery. Her lips are so botoxed, they look unrealistic for her, like fish lips. Asian women do not have lips like that, period. When she started out in acting, her lips were completely different, and much better pre-surgery, imo. I just wish the Korean entertainment industry was not so image-focused, and was more focused on talent. She is an okay actress, though, don't get me wrong. I just wish she was a little more natural-looking. :)

I find it really ironic that you guys criticize HT haters while simultaneously ripping KJ to shreds. If anything, the writers' purpose was to show how raw and "human" these characters are. However, there are no evil/terrible people here, they're just people who make mistakes. To label KJ as a "villain" because of a few mistakes and calling him sleazy and shiz... really ironic. Which brings me to the fangirling argument: so "fangirls" don't deserve a voice just because supposedly they only like a character because of his good looks? may Feb 06 2015 3:01 am even though i'm not that happy with the ending but what can i say is the ending are real and logic. i know someone who really close to me. she cheated because she barely meet her husband (her husband work outside the country). she have 2 sons but because of the loneliness she have feeling for another man. just like IR. I'm suprise because her husband accepted and forgave her after knowing that. after getting advice from family member, the wife devoted again to her husband. her husband stop working outside the country. now, she was happy with 5 children.

what i'm trying to say is,the relationship between husband and wife are sacred. they share a lot of things. it is not easy to just break the relationship for someone that you barely know. the writer maybe want to show us that in marriage, you are not always in the happy state. sometimes you have to face the hardship. it depends on us how to deal with the situation. some couple may survive but some of them maybe will end up with divorce.

@ Hateheetaeshippers, LOL. people who like HT might be a boring person. i'm a happy person and i know how to enjoy my life but i still like HT character. but i'm afraid that if i say that like HT, you will ask me to get marry with HT which not even exist. @apple, i like your humble oppinion. hehe

ace Feb 05 2015 3:08 pm This will likely be my last post on this steaming pile of gos se . I was talking to a friend and she pointed out the only real love story was between Ir and HS. I said I agreed but pointed that Ir treated the sick sister worse than she did her husband in the marriage. Yes, she cared for her a few hours a day for years apparently (although we never see the marriage so who knows) but what we see later is how she mistreats HS after she meets someone to cheat with.

She left HS in in the rain because of text message from KJ. Likely causing her life to be shortened. Certainly the little quality of life had was drastically lessened. Then she leaves the 100% helpless woman all alone in cafe so she can go suck face with her lover. Then, on what is to be their last outing together IR allows the lover to literally force his unwanted presence on the helpless sister. Even leaving her alone with him. That is just sick.

Seems to me Ir didn't really care at all about the helpless HS. But she did care about KJ.. No matter who it hurt or how helpless they were. At least HT could file divorce papers. But all HS could do was endure Ir's repeated abuse. And when Ir got in trouble for her mistreating of the helpless sister, she runs to be with her lover.

All the stress Ir brought upon the helpless woman, unable to even vent like everyone else, .the sick sister likely finally died of a broken heart. No matter what HS greek chorus fantasy voice says. It must have made HS last days so much more miserable than they already had to be.

Yet we are to believe Ir loved HS so much and missed her when she died. Because the paintings say so, I guess. But as soon as HS is dead, whoosh...Ir returns to HT without a word. Just squeezes out a few tears over a stew and bingo. Ir can now sit in her lover's chair content that she doesn't have to care about anyone but herself anymore.

And re: fangirls. Do not argue with them. Fangirl is a very effective troll disguise. Unless you are trolling yourself and hoping a real fangirl takes the bait. If that is the case, have fun.

As I said, I likely will not return to this page. But upon leaving I would like to thank those that actually contributed to the discussion. Also like to say I actually was more interested in this conversation that I ever was the drama. Which pretty much sums up my opinion of Vapid Love.

Used all manner of epitaphs to describe the husband. Then turn right around and start screaming for the writer to die because the writer displeased them on a drama. The irony is indeed funny.

But sad too. That there are so many truly shallow people. Sadder still is because kdramas will continue to be like Vapid Love as long as that type mentality continues to dominate the target audience. The plot or believability matter not at all. Long as the guy is hot they don't care about anything else. Hot guy is a creep? No problem! They will rationalize anything he does, no matter what. Dialogue horribly written? No problem just take off a shirt. So why try improve the writing if the target audience will greedily eat any pap they deign to serve?

This is even funnier; they would have loved it if IR and KJ ended up together, because this was what they said all the time (even before the drama started) and got so mad even wished the writer to die because she ended with HT; now they are bashing IR and saying it's good KJ saved himself from her and HT will suffer for the rest of his life with such a wife,lol. I guess ep. 20 nails it a lot, that this is a family drama (through the Jangs: the parents, Hae Tee and Ki Tae - what he says about being Korean to the bones, it has a lot of ironies, positive and negative all the way). Family gives you pain, but they are also wonderful and in the end nothing is black and white.

I see HT's sacrifices during il ri's unconsciousness in the hospital, and the way he wanted her to met KJ to say goodbye. The writer wanted to show that he gives Il Ri trusts again. Some viewers comment saying that HT come to see KJ in his workshop to brag about him getting back to IR, but i did not see it like that. I see "unvalid bromance", nevertheless he wanted to meet say thank you for everything.

IR (LSY)'s face is always sad, but sometimes it lifts up when she sees KJ, HS, HT, and even the head of the construction site where she works. It doesn't mean that she's only smiling when she is around KJ. LSY has this melancholy looks, i guess it is not easy to be an actress with that kind of face.. But cannot judge her either based on her face. If I have to chose the character that I like less in this drama, I would chose her character. But then again, she is always weird from the beginning of the episode. The way she would chase her teacher. I smell something fishy in her personality. It's true that we did not see the way Ht and IR's love growing, but we saw enough of it in the first 2 episodes. Since they have been married for 7 years, I think they would not do it like before, and they need time to heal their wounds. Moreover life is not perfect, and it goes on.

The reason I watched Valid Love because of LSH's voice, he was so nasty in Deep Rooted Tree, but his voice rules (although i fell hard for Jang Hyuk) ! He got even bigger biceps and matured look in Valid Love, ..... but this drama made me fall in love with UTW instead! From the first episode of VL, i fell in love with his acting.... and so i watched his dramas and movies. He showed his ability through equator man where he acted as a blind man. I am currently watching Rebirth and Can We love, i cannot get enough of his acting! He's such a cool man in Can We Love, and fought by girls...so different than Valid Love where most of the girls would fall for KJ.

Overall, i enjoy this drama a lot!!!!!! Although i feel that the writer could do better than this (i feel that she is trapped between ratings, fan service and keeping the story righteous) , but it's such a clean ending..I appreciate her efforts to make them balanced.

I have watched many of Kdramas with love triangle as the main topic, the writer always keep the ending in the final episode. So i guess it is quite normal that the writer tricked the viewers till the very end. (Ex: What ever happen in Bali, Nail Shop Paris, Surplus Princess, Doctor Stranger, etc). Otherwise, isn't quite obvious that the otp will be the end game (ex: My love from the Star, Equator Man, Innocent Guy, etc).

KJ on this thread by his fans was seen as perfect, when in reality, he was the most flawed of them all. KJ wanted what HT had, even wanting to make IR's family his family. Instead of being greedy for what another man had, he should have tried to build a relationship with his mother instead of running away. He should have tried to build friendships, instead of running away. He should have tried to find a girlfriend instead of trying to boldly, in your face steal another man's wife. It wasn't that KJ didn't know better, he didn't care. Do I feel sorry for him at the end of this drama, absolutely NOT!

IR is a character I don't really like either. Although the writer is trying to show that she's grown from her experience, I will only say by some small amount. I still don't feel she communicates openly. She really didn't communicate with KJ either. She just shared with him how tired she was for caring for HS and thought it would only be for a year, and times wishing she would die. She saw KJ as a mirror because she could talk openly about her true feelings in this regards---which still was wrong. I'm just glad the writer didn't pollute the water more and had HS die after IR made one of those comments to KJ, then her guilt would be overwhelming.

HT is the only character that I really felt for the entire drama. I really hated that the writer tried to show him as so perfect at times. I loved when he fought back against KJ. I hated it when he let the overly aggressive childlike KJ just rant like a two year old. I would have kicked him out of my house, even though he was drunk. He would have received a paid taxi drive home.

Instead of spending so much time on the affair, which made me dislike IR intensely because of the quickness she entered the affair and then claimed to have two men in her heart after a couple of weeks, the writer should have taken some episodes to rebuild HT and IR's marriage. They were apart for 2 or 3 months and the next thing you know, they are back together the same day they meet up again.

It was frustrating to not read any real discussion on this thread for all the silly IR and KJ comments, not to mention the crazy, crazy bashing of HT's character. People are upset that the writer had a husband and wife get back together. I know this is art, but I try to relate some art situations to real life. In real life, I'm not going to be rooting for some other woman to come and take my husband. If I'm not going to do it in real life, I'm not going to do it for a drama.

@what, i really feel bad when ppl cursed HT/UTW. I feel so attach with HT character. i really don't understand why ppl hate him. of course ppl can fall in love with KJ because he is so hot but why did they still can accept the bad side of KJ. i think KJ character is the most annoying in this drama. the incident at HT house, the lied that he made and scene at the hospital in ep 19 really makes me hate him to the maximum lvl. thanks to LSH. you did a good job played the role of KJ.

@ace, i agree with you. there are a lots of things that the writer should do. the writer should convince the viewer why HT and IR should be together again. based on the plots, i think IR still in love with both men but she choose to be with HT. you should give us reason why she choosed him. with that reason, i maybe can accept IR decision and satisfy with the ending.

Then lied to HT about marry IR, but IR chose to stay with her husband--the man she loves, has loved since high school. Now both of them have fluttering hearts.

ace Feb 03 2015 5:38 pm @what, I have found that 30 year old adolescents are often worse than teenagers of any maturity level. I found the vitriol directed at the husband to be rather perplexing. But to be honest, I have felt like I was watching a completely different drama than pretty much everyone else. People saw "chemistry" and I saw "creepy."

As to the writer having the wife end up with her husband, it was always going to end that way. Barring the 'unreliable narrator' trope (which would not have surprised me), the narration indicated at least a temporary reconciliation. Which is why I was lambasting the story arc weeks back. The writer either started the affair too early or made it last far, far, far too long. Actually, both. But the writer did neither of those and it finished exactly as I thought it would. Even down to the stupid chair for the adulterous wife to sit in and fondly daydream about her adulterous lover.

Nothing could have saved this show after say...episode 14, but at least having all three go their separate ways would have made more sense. Or even have the two adulterers go off together. Likely wearing expressions like the two kids eloping at the end of 'The Graduate.' Those ending would not have saved the show but they'd be less a slap in the face of credulity that reconciliation.

But of everything in the show, nothing was done to validate a reconciliation between the husband and the cheating wife. Nothing. No foundation. Just the opposite in fact. They spent plenty of effort showing exactly why that would never believably happen. So, naturally, that is what they did.

I invested myself into this drama, hoping against hope that this drama would be about true love, and about the sacrifices one would make for true love. How far one would go for love. Lol I sound like a total idealist, but isn't that the reason we watch kdramas? To escape reality and witness something beautiful, ethereal, something that we wish for in the depths of our hearts, but don't know what. I should've seen the warning signs, heck, the whole premise of this drama is that a woman loves two men at the same time. I didn't see that she loved Kim Joon at all though, except played with him to forget her dissatisfaction with her own life, and then threw him away when all the issues with her husband were resolved and she "grew" as a person. I cried at the very end because we see scenes of IR and HT having fun, enjoying life with numerous friends, smiling, together, and KJ, alone. I cried and felt sorry for him. It made me sick that the drama showed HT and IR in a positive light after the things they did to him. Lol, made me think of Great Gatsby. At least Fitzgerald didn't portray Daisy and Tom through rose colored glasses. Am I being overly dramatic? Probably, maybe I'm just pissed I wasted 20 hours of my life on something that crushed my faith in true love, even if a little bit. He didn't deserve to be played with like that, even though they show us that he's totally okay with it. Damn, that totally negates the whole premise that there was any sort of "love" between KJ and IR, which breaks my heart. Scenes with them up to episode 7-8 made my heart flutter, you could literally feel the chemistry between them. From that episode on, however, it just went downhill and never showed us the supposed "valid love" that made my heart flutter in the first place. I mean, if you love someone enough to almost cheat on your husband, shouldn't you go all the way to give at least some of the viewers the satisfaction of knowing that she truly loved KJ and was willing to DO things for him? Instead, you disappoint both KJ AND HT lovers. What a huge, huge disappointment you are, drama. No, I don't want to see ugly reality. I want a pure manifestation of true love, which you tricked us into thinking there was. People, only watch this if you're ready for enormous disappointment. Because it IS good at the beginning.

ace Feb 03 2015 2:55 pm Ok. Finally. To paraphrase comic-book-guy, "worst drama ever." Well, it isn't the worst but it certainly is in the top 10 worst dramas that I have watched. Which is saying something. I'd like to say something positive. Anything. Anything at all. But I just do not see a single redeeming feature to the show. It is just too poorly scripted. At times I honestly felt as if I was watching a show made from a drunken fangirl fanfic. It was painful. And unlike many feeling pain because KJ did not get the girl, my pain is simply from the low quality of the screenplay. Seriously, it was bad. You have been warned.

Speaking of fangirls. Ah yes...IR-KJ shippers, your tears are like wine to me. So sweet. So delicious. So plentiful. Bwahahaha!

Is this where the world is going? You may say it's just a drama, I know it is a drama. But things like this happen in real world all the time. People's reactions to this drama reflects their reactions to real life which makes me very sad. I'd maybe get it if the husband was bad, but he's a good guy. Also the boyfriend is so childish and selfish. What do people and IR find in this man?

bicil Feb 03 2015 8:43 am yeah agree with lulu and ace. the wife is so damn dull and brainless if not moron. the other characters are soo un-likeable (except for the sister in law who is mostly on bed) and the plot is so bad beyond believe. this is the first kdrama that i watch after pasta ( 5 years ago ?? ) and i'm utterly speechless how can i be so wrong to choose this one. i think i give up korean drama.. lets go back to game of thrones and sherlock holmes..... and walking dead.. watching those zombies slowly walking and mumbling gibberish is more entertaining than this ...

impressed Feb 03 2015 4:40 am UTW's acting. Just WOW! I understand why people call this guy "Uhm Force". He's really on another level. I hope to see him get awards with his performance in VL and I'm looking forward to see him in better works in the future.

In episode 19, I was shocked to see some people passed seeing IR hyperventilating on the ground and didn't do anything. Even the neighbor helped because he realized it was IR. Otherwise he wouldn't do anything either. They'd just leave her to death.

I almost never ever start a series unless it is already completed. (Vapid Love is an excellent reason why I will never do it again) During the winter hiatus of my other shows, I thought I'd start a new one. I narrowed it down to Valid Love and Pinocchio. I picked Vapid Love. Big Mistake! Hindsight etc etc

But last week I watched the entirety of Pinocchio marathon style. Pinocchio is a story that is pretty preposterous. But even with downright impossible contrives, Pinocchio is written to be infinitely more believable than Vapid Love. The situations in Pinocchio might be contrived but the reactions of the characters, the dialogue, felt so utterly organic. Whereas Vapid Love was contrived, clunky, SO SLOW, scattered, unfocused and to be brutally honest, horribly, horribly written. I never once believed any of it past episode 05. Not one bit. I was completely unable to reach a point where I was able to "suspend my disbelief" that is required to truly respect a show.

After watching episode 19, I felt nothing positive. Just contempt for the screenwriter. A weary resignation and self-loathing at my OCD need to finish what I start. I have no curiosity about the next episode. Not one slight twinge of eagerness to see the finale. I do not care what happens to any of them. Why should I?

Snow Feb 02 2015 9:58 am @UHMForce, I agree with you regarding Hee Tae. He is a great man and any woman would be a fool not to want him. The writer really made it obvious that he was a good man. Even in the beginning when he and IR were not dating, he wouldn't leave her bedside. It took her mother asking him to leave. He cried the entire time on the plane. He then didn't respond to her correspondence because of guilt, but also because he thought she had a school girl crush. He didn't want her to wait for him, but go to school and live her life. He wanted what was best for her.

He has not changed in all those years. He's doing the same thing now. KJ is selfish and wants IR to do what he wants. HT is wanting IR to have the freedom of choice.

KJ has also been selfish and greedy--he wanted to take what another man had. I really would love for you to tell me how Hee Tae was greedy and selfish. It's amazing how people will make up things that was never shown or presented in the drama.

Hee Tae and II IR are very much alike in that they put other people before themselves. HT tried very hard to make sure IR would not find out about his mother's health because he didn't want her to use that as an excuse to stay. He wanted to let her go.

It's okay to be a fan of LSH (Carpenter), but just don't throw out useless comments with no foundation. I can point to several reasons why IR would be making a mistake by going with Kim Joon. The writer has given him a possessive personality. Do a little research and you will find that is the worse type of man to be in a relationship. Why the writer did this, I don't know. I do know that for him to have known her less than 8 weeks, he's over the top. I wonder if the writer has been counting days.

Kim Joon listened to no one and only does what he wants to. This is a drama, but in real life if he barged into people's home, he would be leaving in a body bag. He has slowly, but continuously escalated in his possessive behavior after only knowing II IR a few short weeks. I can only imagine if she was his wife.

Fans were really hating the husband for making his wife take care of his sister, when the drama clearly shows that the ever self-sacrificing IR wanted to take care of her sister in law and went against the family when they wanted to put her in a nursing home. On one thread a poster wrote that the Carpenter kidnapped IR when he took her on a fishing date, they went ballistic. Then what do we have again in episode 18, Carpenter tried to kidnap IR again and stopped only after he almost caused an accident. This type of behavior has been his character the entire drama. Nor does it help that he seems crazy (according to IR's sister).

Then you have the husband, HT, who is trying to be this understanding husband, brother and son. Who in their right mind let their wife's lover sleep in their house? They are not even legally divorced yet. The writer made this drama ridiculous.

Like you, I don't know why either man would want IR. In 7 years, another man will rub her chest with his hammer and bam, she's in love.

The funny thing about this drama, IR and KJ fell in love on day 4--after 3 days of him completely ignoring her. Now we're on about 2 months into their affair/relationship.

It captures everyday life story that when you have big responsibility it's hard to please everybody, even if it's for your own happiness, in this case is poor il ri. She sacrifice so much in such a young age and take the responsibility for people. When she finds a glint of new feeling around kim joon that she never experience before, its too late, she have to think about her husband and family too. I feel sorry for hee tae that he has to know his wife "affair" from stranger and for his big family problem. But i feel sorry for kim joon too, he has a hard past and despite he looks like a cold person but actually he's so innocent, he doesn't fully understand what others feel because of his actions. I'm a huge fans of lee soo hyuk but i try to be objective watching this drama (it's so hard btw haha) I can't imagine how this story's gonna end but i hope the pd will do this story justice. I hope il ri will make the right decision for her and everyone and i really the pd will have a good and happy ending for every character.

The writer wrote the wife to be so revolting in her selfishness and self-pity that I cannot see how either man would want her. And wrote the carpenter to be so stupidly Me-Tarzan-You-Jane, as well as really creepy, that I honestly do not see the appeal. All he ever did was use a very stupid woman's vulnerability for his own equally selfish and self-pitying purposes. Apparently to him "No" means "yes! please keep using my troubles and weaknesses against me and take me against my will, you big man! Save this weak woman!" The writer wrote the husband to be such a milquetoast and dullard that can only react, but never act.

And the contrivances used to keep getting the whole cast together are laughable. I mean that. Laughable.

Do not get me wrong. I was not expecting realism from a kdrama. Much less one with a triangle. But I do expect at least a bare minimum degree of believability. You can have something totally implausible or even impossible and it can still be made to be very believable. But instead what we have with Valid Love is something that is perfectly plausible and possible, but made to be completely unbelievable.

So, I do not see how you were harsh or need to apologize. Well, aside from the fear of being chased by rabid fangirls wielding torches and pitchforks because you disagree with them.

Kim Joon & Il Ri shippers, Il Ri & Hae Tee shippers and Hae Tee & new soul mate shippers. i love the first 2 episodes. it's so relaxing and i really enjoy Il Ri character on how she is so obsesses with hae tee. it is so cute. but after kim joon came into the picture, the plot became so stressful. Lonely guy who became homewrecker; wife who loves her husband and at the same time in love with another guy and the husband who is so pitiful because his wife is cheating, his sister and his mother sick. i really cannot handle my feeling while watching this drama. thank you Kim Do Woo because you wrote such a stressful drama but i still love it because the plot seems different compare to other K-dramas.

@aha, you said that "she couldn't study and never enjoy her life as a young girl in her 20th". i think in the early episodes mention that Il Ri hate to study. Tae Hee encouraged her to study but she refused. her dream is to become the painter.

For the ending, i wish that Hae Tee will find his own happiness. Il Ri and Kim Joon........what you give, you get back.

With only two episodes left, IR still hasn't decided what she wants. For the last couple of episodes she looked totally over HT, enjoying time with KJ, treating HT badly, but the last minute of the 18th episode, she wavered. Just make up your mind IR and stick to that. I hope HT will survive the accident.

People who went crazy when HT slapped IR and still bring the topic up again and again justify KJ's barging into HT's house, kidnapping IR, driving like a psycho, almost making an accident etc by saying IR made him like that. She's playing with him, what choice does he have? He's been driven to extremes. HAHA. Then can't we say the same with HT? His wife cheated on him, he was driven to his extremes. But no, whatever HT does is wrong, whatever KJ does (even if it's a crime) it can be justified. Because KJ is handsome. He's a jerk, who cares if he's the most handsome guy in the world? It is why I said the two adulterers should be together. They deserve each other. Both are completely selfish and utterly immature. The hubby deserves better, though. But 'better' is a very relative term at this stage in the drama. Bearing the dark, crushing weight of the ocean's abyss on top of his torn and lifeless body would be better at this point than having to deal with his faithless wife's stupid self-serving decisions for many more episodes.

And to try to make a "cute" scene with the two guys brushing teeth together and her happy at breakfast at this stage of the series.....really? But I should not be surprised this is where the writer went. At this rate I'm thinking it will end in polygamy and the husband raising an illegitimate child that also happens to be his nephew.

And in the Return of the Superman he's so freaking handsome (and make-upless), I sometimes find myself glued to his face instead of watching his interaction with Jion, lol. I love Soo Young, she's a very good friend. Yi Ri is also a very strong character. At first I didn't want her to be with Ki Tae but now I think they are getting cuter and KT is becoming a better person. Episode 18 is very heatbreaking, I hope this drama gets back to its original route-the hilarious mode- even if it's just one episode. BTW, I recently realized the rookie scientist who was HT's junior is from Lunafly!

heyhey Jan 27 2015 12:18 pm To the people who say Uhm Tae Woong looks old, I think they did it to him on purpose, put his make up to make him like that (though he doesn't look that old as people say imo) because I'm also watching Superman is Back and he looks very handsome and young. He looks 34-35. :) Before Valid Love, I never thought Lee Soo Hyuk was handsome but here he looks very good. It could be the hair. :) And his voice! Lee Si Young and Choi Yeong Jin are total beauties. I also love CYJ's talking voice. I also find Park Jung Min pretty good looking.

In the Chinese new rule, this drama against it, broke the women's character and valid. Uhm Tae-Woong is the good actor even though he is not young and good feature like Lee Soo-Hyuk , a man's role model in three charactes: Husband, Son, Social life. ace Jan 25 2015 6:08 am @naisy-@apple, the "sins of the father" phrase is biblical in origin. It comes from the Hebrew Old Testament. iirc It says it several times in various places. That the "sins of the father shall visit the children" to the "third and fourth generation." But it also said in other places that the sins of the father are his alone.

But there is certainly a pretty obvious basis for such a saying. The actions and inactions and beliefs and disbeliefs, of parents do reflect upon their children. Not only legally speaking, such as debts etc. But morally speaking as well. Children pay a price all the time. Just as children reap the rewards of virtuous and successful parents, the children of poor and immoral suffer for their sins.

The topic of kids in a marriage conceived by adultery reminds me of a study that come out last summer, I think. Contrary to the popular opinion that "all men are dogs," the study showed that women are actually more likely than men to cheat on their spouse. Another study I read at the time said the number of children that are raised by men that are unknowingly not the real father is far, far, far higher than previously assumed.

This story actually can happen in real life, and why are you soo against the husband and saying omoo he's tooo old and she's like his daughter, I know married couple with age gap of 15 years for god's sake and they are all good and fine. The age gap is not the biggest proble .The thing here in this drama is about her marrying too young and not giving herself a chance to know what does it feel to date and be loved from other person than her husband as he was her first love. And those who keep saying adulterers Like seriously! They just kissed and actually I have a feeling that she likes kim joon just because she feels he's lonely and that is sympathy and because he's good looking and that is going to fade away when she sees him more, so she loves her husband, but the problem started when her husband ignored her, he didn't even hang out with her even once in 7 years or make her feel special even for a day, and she kept giving him and his family so much, so she went to search for the fun she's been missing elsewhere. She was very energetic and hopelessly romantic when she was young and with her husband and with her care for his family, she forgot herself and how she used to be. Anyways I don't know how most of you wish she end up with kim joon, when it only makes sense that she should end up with Hee-tae and that's what i'm waiting for. I have much more to say but that's enough. The fact that this one has so many comments means its a success, why do we always search for the safe hopeless romantic drama all the time, why not enjoy the controversial thoughts about one. They are both incredibly selfish and do not care who that selfishness hurts as long as they can act like kids.

Whereas the husband is an adult. He deserves an mature (in mind not years) wife who loves him enough to not cheat, at the very least. Instead of a mentally immature wife that is a pretty despicable person in pretty much every way.

As to what the future would hold if the adulterers marry? Who cares.

ace Jan 23 2015 11:10 am @apple, I tend to agree with that sentiment. Any reconciliation at this point would be an insult to the audience's intelligence. Not because the adulterers have chemistry and belong to each other or tripe like that.

The pattern of that "chemistry" revolved entirely around a cycle of the wife's self pity, a selfish horny guy manipulating that pitiful vulnerability for his own gain. That's it.

She does something bonehead stupid, selfish and horrible, people naturally get mad at her, she runs to cry on the home wrecker's shoulder. He exploits the weakness for his own gain. Rinse. Repeat. Rinse. Repeat. ad nauseum.

Makes it all mushy and tender to anyone that is watching but not actually thinking...very ham-handed writing technique...but if you think at all, you see how shallow it really is. Reconciliation with the husband would be completely unbelievable. She has done too much destruction for too many stupidly selfish reasons.

I said it before, she has done nothing to warrant so much desire for her. She is repugnant. Why would either man want her. Unless they enjoy being a cuckold to a selfish idiot that has the emotional maturity of a 13 year old.

So, since reconciliation would be stupid and unbelievable, I expect that is exactly what the writer will try to write.

Imagaine the heartache, his wife's boyfriend is his half brother, oh gives me chills. There's a saying: "s/he who ruins a family won't have a family". I think somehow they'll break up. IR has a history of cheating and we know that KJ is a possessive agressive man, so he'll never be able to trust IR. I, for one, wouldn't. Right now, they think everything is okay, but once they continue with their relationship, they'll se that they won't get along much. Their personalities are different, KJ is not someone to tolerate IR's behaviours. We saw it in the earlier episodes, he found her extremely annoying. She is actually annoying, it was just the calm patient HT tolerated her. Plus, a relationship founded on immoral grounds just don't last.

Also he's very disrespectful towards Ht's dad, theres an old man asking you questions, disrespectful jerk! No wonder he's got 0 friends, no one would want to hang around qit him.

And yet she still found the need to not communicate her problems at the time when she struggled, as he asked her to, I might add. But instead she chose to go be vulnerable to another man instead. To give another man what she denied her husband. Communication and affection.

So he would not think "oh she had it really, really hard and I was not a mind-reader so her cheating is all my fault" just because he is all alone now with his world collapsing. He'd have come closer to thinking that way when he finds her hidden booze stash rather than finally seeing her perspective by comparison to his own situation.

Because with any attempt at comparison he'd naturally see what she had to endure before she cheated as a cakewalk by comparison by what he has to endure after she cheated. All of her hardships had pretty much one source. Herself. She pretty much brought it on herself. She was responsible for her own choices.

I assume, and this is a blind assumption, they are going try to show how much she loves him by self sacrificing herself again. Which could not be a more uninspiring idea.

All while she took care of HS and it wasn't a burden to her, she took her out on walk, to places and HS clearly enjoyed it. The fact that she's still alive now proved how much having IR being with her helped her. then why now it should become like a burden HT HAD to deal with?? IR had to deal with his family when he's away as well, they called her whenever they have a problem, his brother treated her as trash yet she still thought for his good (by trying to make him work!). and when HT's back he doesn't do anything to resolve it, he didn't say a word to his father cheating or trying to talk to MIL. Was he aware of how his mother blamed IR for HS falling sick? even though we know she didn't mean it, but IR clearly took it to heart. to me IR cared too much and wanted to do everything she could for that family, from the moment she chose to be with HT. so is it all her fault? for wanting to do good and couldn't be honest when she should have to? it's so easy to make HT the victim here and his suffering is more prominent because IR left him. You can't say IR was leading a happy life, she carries on a smile and chatted cheerfully with her husband as if nothing should worry him, but secretly drank soju alone. Tbh I just want her to leave and fend for herself but then it's not in her character so yea. Not gonna comment on the drama plot, i have my problems with it too but i don't want to write an essay. ^^,

First, I meant I foresaw. Not that I foreshadowed. The writer foreshadowed it, not me. Secondly, I was wrong in saying that her continuing the affair past 12 was a big mistake. The big mistake was starting the affair too early as well as making it last too long. If the writer had devoted more time in the earlier episodes to the actual 7 years of marriage, instead of mostly before and after, it might have helped solidify her as a more likeable character and shown her as actually loving her husband. Rather than a mere infatuation that proved itself to be as shallow as she was. As it is, the story peaked far too soon, lasted far too long and now has to rely on contrivances like memory loss to carry it limping onward to its conclusion.

I fully agree with your personal belief that it is important to have empathy for other people. And trying to see their POV is a helpful tool to do so. But I don't see the comparison.

She was alone often because of circumstances beyond their control. i.e. work. He is alone solely based upon her actions. Her husband did not lie to her about using birth control. To the point she worried about her physical well-being. And even then never said a word. Her husband was not a secret lush. Her husband didn't take her sick sister on a date with his lover. Or leave her in the rain. Or leave her helpless and alone in the city while he makes out with lover and then forgets about her. Her husband did not lie constantly about everything. Her husband did not reject physical affection. Her husband did not cheat on her. And while she had to deal with the sick sis-in-law...he has to deal with sick sister, sick mother, unhelpful family and his wife betrayed him and she is constantly bringing her lover around the house to boot. So I fail to see a comparison that warrants an actual POV perspective. They are too far apart. What she had to deal with was nothing compared to what he is dealing with.

@ran. tyvm for your reply. Didn't answer what I wanted to know but that is ok. That is more to my expectations than your answer, I assure you. That said, I must respectfully say her having the affair etc is not any part of my gripe.

My gripe is the writing. The story itself is poorly told. As a very small example. In horror movies there is a really lazy trick called the 'jump scare.' Which, as you may know, is created by having the soundtrack be very quiet for an extended period of time then the soundtrack blasts super loud noise ve ry suddenly. No matter how innocuous the image on screen is, it is the noise makes people jump. Not real movie scares. it is a cheap ploy used by hacks instead of writing and filming quality scares. Well, in writing there is also a very lazy trick. It is when you have conversation stop right after a big reveal with no follow up on the reaction. I'm not talking the perfectly serviceable tactic of the cliffhanger. But in the middle of the show there will be an important conversation, they say the important thing...you expect a reaction but it jump cuts to the next scene. Leaving the viewer in a state of wtf. This drama is rife with it. It is a way to avoid having to write yourself out of a corner. 'what would he say to that?" no worries. we just cut away. Cheap trick used by writing hacks. But that is by no means the only cheap ploy. The juxtaposition scenes between her two lovers is even worse. Even the film units film the couples differently. One positively, the lover, one not so much so, the husband. He often gets blurred out.

As to the plot itself, they wrote her horribly. Seriously, you can try to defend her by inserting your own interpretations, and that is fine. But based upon what is said and shown on the screen, she is a pretty horrible human being. She lies constantly to everyone, even to point she let her husband worry about sterility. She is incredibly, unforgivable irresponsible with everyone around her, especially her husband and sis-in-law. She cheats, is violent, super-selfish and petty. Add to that the constant never-ending cycle of self pity and unwarranted passive-aggressiveness. And that is the abbreviated list! So it makes me constantly wonder how anyone actually watching the show could think either man would want her. But especially the husband. Hell, by episode 13 I'd have tossed her a quarter for services rendered and told her not let the door hit her ass on the way out. It might have helped if the writer had written her to where we can appreciate something besides her over inflated perceived self-sacrifice.

Now the writer seems to need yet more reasons to keep getting the three together all the time. (And a chance for more self sacrifice!) Seemingly bereft of ideas, he reaches into the Korean Drama Memory Loss Trope chest and pulls out Instantaneous Alzheimer's so they can have the mother keep bringing them together against their will. (funny how everything in this drama is against their will and will always loses. apparently so weak-willed they can resist nothing) I mentioned 3 act story arc etc. earlier. I'm not 100% sure but I was under the assumption this was 20 episodes. I foreshadowed bad things by 11 and by 12 confirmed. Her continuing the affair past 12 was a big mistake. It only cemented the fact she is a pretty lousy person to everyone around her and any reconciliation onscreen would be a laughable premise. Which I thought was the whole point of Valid Love. Hence why I said " More like 3.1 acts, and epilogue, and a run off a cliff or into a wall." The Alzheimer's was the cliff.

It was about how they met again at work, after she told him not to see her again at the restaurant(after she told him everything she did with him was WRONG). At the work site, he said it was not his fault and she answered they lived in the same town so it couldn't help they'd see each other by accident, they didn't do anything wrong/ as in sense they didn't plan to meet or anything.

But i noticed many people started it with a prejudice and it's obvious they can't stay objective. Every detail or dialogue can be misinterpreted. Like one can't see how sincere IR is when it comes to HS, or how she feels guilty and hurt for HT. All they see is how she cheated and doesn't regret it one bit? HT and IR were on the point of divorce, IR after countless attempt to reconcile with HT, she decided to let it go. so why can't she live for herself now? i feel like for some people she has to be miserable and put in prison or sth only that they can be content. These last few eps show HT living by himself and gradually he realizes how IR lived all those years. To me it's important for him to see from her pov too. I want them to understand each other because to me they still love each other. This is drama doesn't glorify affair or it is the goal. It's more about human complicate feelings and relationships within couples, family, daughter in law and family in law. You may think you know everything about someone but you gotta learn about them everyday. and what it takes to make a relationship work, love isn't everything. People make mistakes in life but they have to learn from it to move on, because life doesn't stop there. Some people say this drama encourages us to cheat and only tries to justify it. Maybe, but isn't it what happening in real life too? we all try to justify for our actions because nobody is perfect. If you just gonna judge then what's the point to watch a drama knowing the taboo it goes with?

That is why i stopped watching at Ep 12, i know i am going to be disappointed being a follower of Kim Joon and Il Ri. Sorry, my only opinion.

I just hope that the writer will write the ending wisely. For me, i love the cinematography for this drama and song from kang San Ae really makes me so into this drama. the song is so nice. Maybe i'm not that happy with the plot because of the cheating part but i hv to admit that the cheating part is the main plot in this drama. i just hope that in the end HT can forget IR and move on.

Just curious though. How is it not about cheating any more? She is still married and carrying on with her boyfriend. That is the crux of the drama. So what then is the drama really about to you and the writer?

ace Jan 20 2015 2:20 am Wow. This writer makes the wife a very selfish, totally irresponsible, constantly lying, unlikable character. Seriously. She exhibits all the traits of a villain. The passive-aggressive self pity she exhibits in literally every episode is so stomach turning. Why would any man want her? What is her appeal? We supposed to feel sorry for her?

And thing is, the writer will then have her out with her carpenter lover having great time smiling and laughing. You know, to show how much tender love they have together in comparison. But all it does is make her and the carpenter seem even more shallow with such juxtapositions. It isn't a counterpoint but a damning feature of their character highlighting just how self absorbed they really are and what a terrible wife she was all along.

I don't see how everyone hates the husband. Yes, he struck her. But he didn't do so it out of simply being an a-hole. He did it because she betrayed in him in one of the worst ways a spouse can be betrayed and he lost control. That is why he destroyed stuff in the house so he wouldn't do worse to her. She then turns it to the fact that he spied on her, so he is the bad person.

Hell, even when confronted with the lying to him about having children, to point he thought he was sterile. She simply said she did it cause she wanted to. When he said how it affected him too, she instantly blames him for even asking. As if he is at fault. Seriously? That level of lying in a marriage? But she blows it off as if it is nothing to do with her him. And then he takes it. Like it is no big deal, that she must have a point that he never saw. Rolling eyes. That whole conversation was so stupidly unbelievable.

And every time, when the husband has a legitimate right to be angry, what we see are Walter Mitty fantasies and then a narration how he thinks it is really his fault and pities her like she wants. Sheesh. Really? Are we supposed to think he is rediscovering her? Discover what. The whole marriage was a sham because she was such a complete fake. The bailed on marriage first chance she got.

Given my understanding that this is supposed to be 20 episodes, I do not see how the writer can have a 3 act story arc. It will be more like a 3.1 acts, 1 epilogue and a cliff to fall off of or a wall to crash into. Given the way the wife and carpenter have been written, the only possible, believable conclusion at this point, given what the writer has presented to the audience in the script, is divorce and severing of all ties. That is the corner the script is in.

Which is fine with me. A huge about of people have posted how they think the Wife and Carpenter should end up together. I agree. But likely for differing reasons. They do, I assume, because they are fangirls and they shipping the ones in the show that look best together cinematographic-wise. Myself, I think only the thing left that is believable is her husband to divorce her and sever all ties. Because the writer has not given any effort whatsoever to showing why she is so desired. Just to be despised for what she really is.

If they'd peaked the story arc at 10 instead of a constant humorless climb for 15, I might think it could be a decent story with 3 acts and maybe an epilogue. But not at this point. More like 3.1 acts, and epilogue, and a run off a cliff or into a wall. I am curious how the writer gets himself of this corner. But not holding my breath.

KJ knows. That's why after he knew her husband, he pushed her away in the beginning, Before their relationship get deeper. It's already been this deep, he feels he can't go back, yes he can't.

He tried to resist her, multiple times. Even after discovery. From Episode 11 when he got hurt Il RI's confession that he is nothing to her, to episode 13 when Il Ri said "don’t we ever met again". He was obliged to her words. Their next encounter is a coincidence, It’s not his will. In that moment, he read her body language she has already accept his presence. But he still tried to resist her, until that trapped in toilet accident happened.

What I'm trying to said is he knows that cheating is bad. But in his point view, so far they haven't doing anything that cross the line (just like his statement in episode 14), They haven’t do anything beside kissing. In his eyes, what makes him has to act like a sinner that makes them have to stay away from society? So why act as if you have to hide something from society? Just like I always feel I'm not in the wrong but my mother kept scolding me because the society felt I did something wrong in the eyes of society. That’s why that meeting in earlier episode 13 with Il RI's mother feels awkward. Because his point of view with the rest of them are different.

It’s not KJ who kept reminding HT he cheated on his wifes. When? Please tell me. It’s the other way around, HT who kept remind KJ he is breaking the rules, he is in the wrong. KJ is the one who want to clarifty If their relationship has stopped. Because in his eyes, this particular husband has no self control, always unconditionally hurting her. He even witnessing Il Ri is sick after meeting him ( sick emotionally). That self protecting instinct kept appeared. Does his acted is too involved in this mess and he shouldn't getting deeper involved? Absolutely. But it will be out of his character if he doesn't act like one, and he will be only a common 2nd male lead guy who have no threat.

I don’t think the writers want to side Il RI, either. Because The writers already showing alot of Il RI’s weakness. It’s just about bias gender that several viewers don’t get the hint.

Admit it, yes she is caring and responsible, but also selfish. Everyone thing KJ’s action is too much from bring HT, IR and him together for his own benefit. What about Il Ri ? She did the same thing with brought three of them together to have a conversation, but all she did was using KJ's presence for her own benefit, SO he can reconcile with her husband. Il Ri also act selfish in front of her husband. Tell him blatantly how much she loved the guy, without concerning her husband own feeling. This is one of the reason what HT angry at. If there is I have learned from this drama, That telling the WHOLE truth is not always the right thing to do. He is telling her husband so she can be forgiven, It makes her feel better. That's a selfish act.

All people in these drama are selfish people, and the writers acknowledge it, don’t act like one character is better because another character makes an ambigious decision that hurt them. Because all of these character are makes ambigious decision and choice. Even Hee Soo that people think is the best character has selfishness in her. But it doesn't mean these people is a certificate a bad people.

If several people can't watch a drama full of this complicated / unlikeable character and judge them harshly without even think their point of view, then these kind of drama it's not for you, because we will always felt uncomfortable with the way they act, and you will end up hating the drama. But it doesn't mean this drama is bad, because so far I find their character are still consistent.

I do not understand all the claims of "magic" and "chemistry" either. To me it is simply creepy how the carpenter acts. Forget immoral, low down and sleazy. It is past that. It is full-on into creepy just how much he keeps forcing himself into their lives with no concern for anything but for his own base desires. (Even the sick woman had his attention forced on her and the wife allowed it.) And creepier still how the wife reacts to him. Yuk. Repulsive not romantic. Terribly written. But I guess if they lower the lighting enough and have them look cow-eyed at each other for long periods of screen time then that is considered some type of love-magic.

I have watched this type story played out much better in other shows. This writer has not written anything worthy in 10 years. Makes me wonder which co-writer was really responsible for My Name Is Kim Sam-soon.

Another thing I find hilarious is how many previous commenters said the husband was too old for her. Granted, he is 8 years older than she is. But she is 6 years older than the carpenter. But I guess they do not see the inherent hypocrisy of those remarks...cause, you know.....he's SO HOT!!!

There are people who say KJ is so hot and IR is better with him and think HT is the only one at fault here. Also there are some who say" they just kissed what's with this?" If you ever get cheated I don't think you'd say to your spouse "it's okay, that person is hot and good looking." or "I'm okay with it, kissing is okay" I hope, at least. IR: She doesn't know what she wants. She says she likes both man, at first she didn't want to divorce begged HT, but now she's pushing him away. She is one day leading KJ on, the next she tells him not to contact her. She's acting as if she did nothing wrong. Both her and KJ think they didn't do anything wrong- I hope they end up together with this stupid mentality. She doesn't talk to HT about her feelings and problems but instead goes to KJ and tells him everything when they had met for only a few days. Cheats on her husband makes it look like he's the bad guy. HT: He tells IR to tell him immediately if she has problems dealing with things happening in their life, she doesn't. He tells him they should give HS to a carehouse because it's hard for IR, she refuses and then says she wishes HS to die because it's hard. She doesn't want a kid because of HS, doesn't tell this to her husband- poor guy thinks they can't have kids and goes to doctors. This is a decision they should take together not IR and deceiving her husband. He was wrong when hitting IR. There was a woman (SJ) waiting for him opening her arms any second, instead he cut almost all relations with her. Because he's a loyal husband. KJ: Threatens and harasses a woman with a hammer, drags her around forcefully. Kisses the woman knowing she's married. Causes her marriage to almost end. Gets jealous when the woman is with her husband (wth). Directly goes to the husband and asks if he could date his wife. Knowing that IR's mother hates him, tries to act kind and good to him and acts as if HT is the homewrecker. Interferes with IR and HT's marriage, trying to make a place for himself. Acts like a good guy when he's nothing but a homewrecker, and he believes he didn't do anything wrong. He's too possessive. Even now, when he's the other guy he's so jealous, I can't imagine him after/if IR totally leaves HT and goes to him. He'd be too controlling and wouldn't trust her. Because she cheated once, she can do it again. Also there's something called karma. It will hit them back. HS: An amazing character, I feel so sorry for her. I love the acting. Uhmforce, LSY and CYJ rock their characters. LSH is also very good but I think it would be better if he improved some more. The actor portraying HT's brother is also very good.

And I really would like to thank the technical team in presenting a beautiful and slice of the life story that could happen to anyone who is in a marriage for long and wonders whether they are missing out something or whether the spouse cannot see the other person for who they are. And really wondersul acting from Uhm force and Lee Si Young. I do wish I could get to see LSY's acting as it was when she was in high school. That bubbly nature was something I do miss. Lee Soo Hyuk has improved by leaps and bounds. High School Savvy showed a new side and Valid Love has brought a good emotional side to his character.

From a personal point of view I would like Hee Tae and Il Ri to get back together. I do miss their love when they were in their initial phases and I still feel they have chances to save their marriage. But if Il Ri decides to move on and give her life another chance to live for herself, I hope she gets out of the triangular relation and takes a different direction.

Cinematography and music has won me over. I do hope many more people starts watching this drama. Cheers!!!

lava Jan 13 2015 1:06 am I find it funny that some are commenting how they hate Hee-tae because he's ugly (though I'm not sure if he appears ugly because you hate him). And it's just me but I don't see the magic or sparks between Il-ri and Kim Joon. Yeah, they have those moments but chemistry? I think it's just infatuation - which Il-ri had gone through for Hee-tae when she was younger. I think it's unfair to say that Il-ri and Hee-tae didn't go through all those 'sparkling' moments since the drama doesn't show what happened in the 7 years of their marriage. And it's worth noticing why it may seem that Il-ri isn't happy with the marriage - it's because once they came back from honeymoon, Hee-soo got sick and Il-ri blames herself (after her mother-in-law starts blaming her but parents could be irrational when it comes to their children). I'm not sure but in Asia, kissing is considered cheating because it's something intimate. And it's unfair to think that Hee-tae is acting like a selfish bastard when he found out about their affair. Try imagining your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend cheating on you. You're definitely going to lose your mind even if you know you may have done something bad behind them, too.

I personally would love to see what the love for the Capinter will take her. I agree Il Ri and Kim Joon have something almost magical. I like that I feel she can grow as a woman with him by her side. I feel her husband is where she is comfortable he didn't bring out anything den her. Except maybe being the only man she has ever been with which she cherishes and loves in a different way. I don't know I'm sure this drama will dissapoint me but I hope I am surprised.

dyinglight Jan 08 2015 9:53 am I do not see the appeal to Kom Joon. Seriously. I mean, aside from the fact that he is an adulterer and home-wrecker.. He is also either stalking her or standing around with a stupid look on his face and his mouth open. And as part of the staking her, it is really creepy at times. Like how he forced himself into the truck with the sick woman. That was very disturbing.

He is going to force himself into the truck with the VERY sick sister-in-law of another man's wife, while they are on a rare outing, just so he gets a chance to sniff the skirts of a married woman. Very selfish and creepy. Seriously, that whole series of scenes was most disturbing. It was just as disturbing how irresponsible Kim Il-Ri is with the sister as well. Because she is unable to say no, left her alone with the adulterer.

As to Kim Il-Ri, her character is written to be so weak-willed that it is kind of repelling. Except to pushy stalkers that is. She is so irresponsible and weak.

As to Jang Hee-Tae, his character is written to be unlikeable, then I assume he is going to change to win her back or some equally banal premise. Problem is they wrote him so poorly for so many episodes that there is little sympathy for him. Especially in the unmarried fan-base of fan-girls.

The cinematography is pretty decent. But at times I felt the blocking could be better. Especially with the indoor shots. .

I expected more at this point. So far I have not found a character worth liking. Which is not good 12 hours into the series.

soo Jan 08 2015 4:57 am i still didn't watch the drama yet i'm willing to but i see that the viewers liked kim joon and kim il re to be together and they are upset now cuz they won't end up together cuz hee tae is main actor here and the viewers are stopping to watch the drama in the ep 12 !! lol what's wrong viewers just accept the story i think every story hav a meaning when it finished just try to look at it from all the sides don't just take kim joon 's side .... well for me i like the three actors a llooott and i will enjoy watching the drama i hope lee soo hyuk will act in more dramas <3 and i wish the drama will get more successful <3 <3 fighting !!

bicil Jan 08 2015 12:44 am The story is about betrayal which is supposed to be a despised act , but somehow the writer try to present it as 'accidental' and 'innocent'. Or maybe they just didn't make the husband to be likeable enough so the viewers (including me) find him more annoying than sympathetic, hence the wife looks more as a victim than a culprit. But on the other hand, she does have a tendency to be a push over girl who doesn't have the will to fight for herself, indecisive and weak. Maybe I don't hate the wife because she is cheating but more because she is indecisive and weak. You want to be bad.. go bad all the way .. ;), you only live once! One thing for sure the chemistry between the 2 main actors (husband and wife) is not there, the actors didn't manage to convince the viewer to see how much in love they were before. So don't blame them if they choose the hot guy ;).

To those who are dreaming that Il Ri and Kim Joon will end up together including me, that is impossible by the way the story is going. Don't you notice, Il Ri's husband is the main character here, he has more scenes, exposure and dialogue than Kim Joon who is only a support in this drama, naturally Il Ri must end up with the legal husband. Anyway, it is given already, from the start of the Drama, the legal husband is the star of the show, no way that Il Ri will end up with Kim Joon. Maybe we are just being carried away, it just happened that they are perfect, the chemistry of Il Ri and Kim Koon!!! I will stop at Ep 12 because i don't want to be disappointed, i know i will not like the ending.

Episode 11 was my favorite because the Mother-in-law acted realistically. I'd have snatched that tramps' head bald though instead of just shaking her lol.

I know he won't but I wish Hae Tae would shun her for rest of show instead of trying to get back with her. If he does get her back she will just cheat again. But even if she doesn't, he could not trust a liar like her ever again. He should just find another woman that has a heart and love he can trust.

Its just so uncanny that the same feelings and thoughts the girl from the book has to marriage and to her affair. Plus she was also a painter. Sorry but totally going for Il Ri and Joon but I'm really afraid about the ending since I know what happens in my book.

He is also just human and he did take care of Il Ri. And the one thing that we can be sure is that he loves IlRi with all of his heart. When Il Ri had hard times he suggested that Il Ri shouldnt take care for his sister anymore but Il Ri insisted. He really tried his best its just that his family has to deal with a lot of problems and he knows and appreciates Il Ri for supporting him all that time. Jes Dec 12 2014 1:23 am First of all, I wanted to watch this drama because of Lee Si Young and Lee So Hyuk, been a big fan of them for a while now and I didn't even pay attention on the plot summary at first.

But I've already watched it until episode 4 and let me just say this, I am anxious and excited to see the next episode. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for yet, but I've always had the "second male-lead syndrome"...But something tells me that this drama won't end up the way I plot in my mind.

Can I just say something? Lee Soo Hyuk is such a fine specimen! hahaha

90% of K-drama comments - at least from those who comment on English sites - are like this regardless of age. Either squealing about some handsome guy or unable to comprehend any relationship that is not a Disney romance. The dramas are way ahead in terms of maturity. And judging by actual ratings in Korea the audiences there seems more open to older actors and different themes.

whacky Dec 03 2014 6:33 pm i ship um tae wong ajusshi and the female lead because it if that's how the story goes it will be a proof that despite the culture of adultery and immorality, marriages can push through difficult situations and temptations... other drams portray husband having affair to a much younger and beautiful lady than wife and audience strongly criticize to it because it wrong and the wife seems pitiful. but, but, but seeing comments below shock me more of how more audience these days can tolerate the wife to have adultery just because the second lead is more younger and handsome(however, it fails to convince me that his beauty is all natural) and fails to see how pitiful the husband will be. dont get me wrong i am not against the second lead, i loved his acting in king of highschool... but shipping adultery is just wrong. i want and i hope that the story progress promoting loyalty, faithfulness in marriage.

Ok, I don't meant to be rude and I hope I am not but a lot of the comments sound like they are written by high schoolers, I mean come on you want two people having an affair to get together because the husband doesn't look that good. Then does that mean you are okay with your boyfriend or girlfriend leaving you because they look better with someone else. Having an affair or cheating is a very serious matter and more often than not it destroys a lot of people's lives, first, the victim i.e. the person who was cheated on, they lose their confidence their ability to trust and to love, second, the cheater, mostly they don't end up being together with the person they had affair with and later on these people feel extremely guilty and sometimes engage in more behaviour like this to forget about what they have done and if by misfortune they have a child then, well you know. I don't mean to preach but cheating for me is nearly unforgivable, nearly because if a family can be saved then it should be, even though it could never be the same again and the behaviour can never really be forgiven or forgotten, it will always be there like a scar. Also, for me at least, I don't know about you guys but I still believe in the institution of marriage and the sacredness of the vows. I am not even that old, I just turned 20 last week but my relationships and dating experience has made it quite clear that trust is the basis of any relationship and an affair finishes that in an instance. Apologies for the long comment but please do think about relationships as real and emotional not based on looks. Also, in long relations things get different but you have to work hard to make it work, if you feel you are losing the love then work to get it you will be rewarded don't take the easy to find solace in someone else's arm, I can never do that to my girlfriend, I can't even think about doing it to my future wife (I'm hoping my current one is the one kkkk). Enjoy the show, don't trash my words or me and even if you don't agree please think about it, if not, I still wish you all the very best for your lives.
