Mugi chan Aug 01 2019 9:09 am I have watched this for 20 episodes, it is a comedy but full of historical content. There are many issues to consider about the modern history of Japan from the late Meiji to Shows era, showing the development that how Japan stands in the global stage, especially attending international sport event like Olympics. Aimming to be the host not only participations since 1912 Stockholm Olympic.

Craig S. Jan 09 2019 10:40 pm Just learned that this Taiga will not be shown in Hawaii (US) by our local station because of the IOC licensing of Olympic footage. There will be no subtitled version available.
