Since first episode I knew It was going to be awesome. Really like the spots, places, and the principal feeling of this storyline, every take was on point, I was in love with the scenography, I can tell the scenography is the best in all dramas I have seen ‘till now. Shoshele Feb 02 2018 5:29 pm Just finished "Just Between Lovers" and, as is my wont, I checked for the name of the writer and director, since, when I like a drama, I want to find out what other dramas they've been involved with. Was surprised - and yet not so much - to find that Kim Jin-Won was also the director of other dramas I really enjoyed - "The Package," "Wonderful Days," and "An Ordinary Love Story." Such seeing a movie grace in our tv screen. the potrayal look so raw and feel ground so much. They are consistent. Love his directing, the acting is great with some great ensemble cast, He is awsome making a casting choice, the overall acting in this drama never extragerated or over done (eventhough the genre can turn this drama into a whimpy melodrama). He makes us forget we are watching a melodrama. I would love to watching his upcoming project, and who knows with Lee Kyung Hee they can collaborate again with different leads? It was an AWESOME ride with some very complex characters and very nuanced themes. The attention to visual detail (contrasting sets, light/dark even in the wardrobe, subtle changes in facial expressions) was SUPERB. I've enjoyed some of the writer's previous work and hope this director/writer team can collaborate in the future. Rushed endings? Meh, pretty common in the genre given time constraints and working conditions. wanda Nov 17 2012 5:12 pm This ending was the biggest crap I have ever seen I knew they were going to mess up somewhere but I can't believe they did it at the end.I guess since the writer loves to kill its main character and couldn't do it found another way to kill what would have been the best Korean Drama series.I'm so angry i didn't even wanted to see the end.So predictable,Korean cinematography is not interested in what the viewers want or like.Is it the money you only care for?.I realized the actors and actress did not have the same enthusiasm they had at the begining of the series.I guess they don't speak out for whatever reason .I highly doubt they agree with this ending..I'm making sure i won't ever watch anything that was written by writer Lee Kyeong-Hee or directed by you Mr. Kim Jin-Won.To you it may not be a big deal and is not I just hope you don't make the same mistake anyone can write but a Director is truly the one that molds and makes a masterpiece.This was your moment to shine but in my eyes you took the light away and just left the darkness of disappointment. ha dae ja Nov 17 2012 11:17 am A Great Director who makes Great Dramas !
