Park Tae-Yong (Kwon Sang-Woo) and Park Sam-Soo (Bae Sung-Woo) fight for judicial victims who are falsely accused.

Park Tae-Yong is a public defender. He was born as the son of an undertaker on an island. He did not take the typical route to become a lawyer. After graduating from high school, he did not go to a university. He later passed the bar exam and became a lawyer. He is full of justice and has empathy for others. He will defend all kinds of petty offenders. A turning point occurs in his legal career when he becomes the first attorney to win a general criminal retrial case.

Park Sam-Soo is a reporter. After he graduated from a university, he worked as a non-permanent employee. Thanks to his excellent writing skills, he became a reporter. He looks for stories which are ignored or passed over by other reporters. He is easily moved to tears and is soft-hearted.

"Delayed Justice" takes over the SBS Fridays & Saturdays 22:00 time slot previously occupied by "Alice" and followed by "The Penthouse 2" on February 19, 2021.
Ep.6 was originally scheduled to air Saturday, November 14, 2020, but, due to the airing of a soccer match between South Korean and Brazil in its time slot, ep.6 will air on Friday, November 20, 2020.
Actor Bae Sung-Woo was cited for DWI by the police in November, 2020. According to the staff of "Delayed Justice," Bae Sung-Woo has decided to drop out of the drama series because of his actions. He has taken part in filming up to ep.16. His scenes will be edited out as much as possible up to ep.16 and his character will not appear in any episodes after ep.16.
Ep. 12 was originally scheduled to air Friday, December 11, 2020, but was moved to Saturday, December 12, 2020 to allow the airing of the 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards. The 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards was subsequently postponed to 2021, because of the rise in covid-19 cases. SBS will air movie "Kim Ji-Young: Born 1982" on Friday, December 11, 2020 in its place.
Actor Jung Woo-Sung will replace Bae Sung-Woo and play the character of Park Sam-Soo from ep.17-20.

Especially the beginning episodes contain such moving and piercing commentary on society as a whole - not just in S. Korea, but around the world. Volume? Turn it down. Over the top? It's part of this story. Glad to be watching it again.

Maq Yusuf Dec 02 2022 10:57 am I stopped watching in the middle and didn't continue watching anymore. Even though this could be a good drama and even a favorite. But the cases/problems discussed here are too complicated and confusing, so I often don't understand what's going on.

The two main male characters are also too loud and can't stay still. like always babbling and being stubborn. I can't stand looking at their character traits. I thought they were old enough to be fathers but here they are both single! like geez.

Park Min Sep 22 2022 6:20 pm "Delayed Justice" more like "should have been delayed"!!! Sam Soo's replacement was ridiculously goofy, he was overacting as if his life was depending on it. Aside from the actor, even the drama's vibe changed. The last case about the school was just silly and didn't match earlier parts or the type of cases they were handling. The drama could have ended at episode 17 with a quick wrap up rather than this embarrassment. Regarding earlier cases, they were fine but most of them dragged and gone on for too long. At least Tae Yong and Yoo Kyung and their rings were cute af.

Kwon Sang Woo and Bae Sung Woo are amazing actors and I enjoyed their dynamic teamwork. Great drama, and the fact that it is based on real life cases makes it so heartbreaking. Delayed justice team fighting...season 2 please

The screenplay writer and director together with the entire cast and production did a very good job in wrapping up this drama. Jung Woo-Sung certainly brought a new kind of flavor to the story that it was able to bring about a fantastic ending. Over-all, it's indeed Marvelous! Knowing that what I am watching is not a fiction nor a fruit of imagination, I can't help but anticipate for every action taken by the protagonist. It kept me on the edge of my chair rooting always for the victory of the lead actor together with his team. I hope many lawyers get to be inspired by this drama. That it is not just about money, fame and power but true heart for the poor, generosity to the needy, justice to the victims and innocents, concerns for the deprived, truth and sincerity, humility on the part of the judges who made a wrong decisions, courage and bravery despite the odds in life. I hope and pray that no more shall suffer and be victims of delayed, fabricated and abused Justice in any part of the world.

Just woww Jan 20 2021 7:33 pm I started this for mr handsome KSW and gave up half way through ep 1,cuz the reporter was way too loud. Well, couldn’t just pass on KSW and yes it’s all worth it! The loudness gets toned down or integrated in to the plot very nicely...one way to portray unsophisticated?? Of course there is no story except for the duo/trio dredging through cases but the the unfolding is heart warming, gripping, and hell yes Underlying humor! Want another dose of good detective but in a different tone?

He just shouts and shouts and shouts and shouts and shouts - and that's his version of emoting? Really? Gosh. It's the collaboration of some of the greatest Korean veteran character actors like: Jung Woong-In, Kim Eung-Soo, Cho Seong-Ha, Kim Kap-Soo, Lee Won-Jong, Cha Soon-Bae, Park Ji-Il, Jo Hee-Bong, Lee Cheol-Min, Jang Kyug-Su and Nam Jin-Bok (although some played cameo role only).

A bit of a fantasy but it seems the cases were inspired by actual events. Great acting by the cast which includes the beautiful Kim Joo Hyun.

Molly Dec 04 2020 12:06 am Thought the drama was going to be good with the two solid actors but I stopped watching in the middle of episode 6. I think the series should just end after episode 5. Too much injustice going on.. this is maybe my 20th kdrama since corona pandemic and didn’t realize South Korea is so corrupt (like not even trying to hide its corrupt ness!) in this day and age. I decided to research the topic and, sadly, this is the truth. It’s such an advanced country but for shame.

Anyway, back to the drama. I just want to punch all the characters except for the few protagonist. However, the 2 solid actors acting is way too exaggerated..my brother who’s not watching and heard the video playing was asking me how I don’t get annoyed with all the screaming. I didn’t realize it at first and then it hit me..the two MLs both scream and yell off the top of their lungs.

This drama reminds me of lawless lawyer so I think I can guess what’ll happen in the end.
