Drama story follows the life of genius music composer Yuichi Koyama (Masataka Kubota) and his wife Oto (Fumi Nikaido).

Yuichi Koyama is a young man who works at a bank in Fukushima. He wants to become a composer. Oto Sekiuchi is a high school student in Toyohashi. She wants to become a singer. Yuichi and Oto exchange letters as friends at first. Their relationship develops romantically and they get married.

"Eru" is NHK's 102nd asadora.
Drama series is based on the true story of music composer Yuji Koseki (August 11, 1909-August, 18, 1989) and his singer wife Kinko.

Akari Dec 23 2021 4:38 pm I like it how, despite not making the lead role a woman, they still made the female lead a strong woman. That's why among japanese dramas I love Asadora the most.
