I'm glad that she took the role of Xiao Yan Zi, otherwise, the drama wouldn't be a mega hit! She's just awesome, no matter what characters she got, she played them all into the limit! Truth of a FanGirl May 17 2014 8:22 pm Zhao Wei is my first love. She opened my eyes to a whole new level not just on entertainment but the world. She made me a better person inside and out. I was so naive back then. I didn't know jack about geography til I watched her shows and started searching information on her. She was my motivation. I got better grades because I was inspired by her.

This may be unnecessary, but looking back at this, now I understand the feelings of the so-called "K-Pop fans" whenever they would say their oppas/unnies are their biggest inspiration and their motivation to love life...the way I found life. I would think they're just a bunch of little naive girls/boys that are obsessed with K-Pop...but I was in their shoes once. And until today, anytime I see anything relatable to Zhao Wei, she still takes my breath away. Literally. I'm not cray-cray over her, but I adore her. Over ten years in the making and still stand firm.

Angela Aug 16 2013 11:37 am Watched almost all of Zhao Wei's movies & TV series half of them thru Utube as it is so hard to find her TV series on US DVD. I enjoyed watching all of them, LOL, even those without english subtitle. Can't find her earlier shows (2000 & earlier) I wish someone would put them up in Utube.

Anyway, watching her shows is helping me learn the Mandarin language. :-) I hope to see more of her shows. Does anyone know if she is working on a current project? What are they??
