Perfect pace, no waste of viewers time. No irrelevant stupid comical characters which usually spoil good dramas. I'm on my fourth episode and I just had to research on the screenwriter and director because I am impressed with the development of the characters and the scenes that lead up to the main storyline. I hate this fact so much maggie Jan 18 2015 1:00 am Dear Mr. Son Young Mok, I just finished watching May Queen drama and learned a lot about Korean culture, lifestyle and family values. BUT I was so infuriated by the mention that the in Philippines, many Koreans are killed. This was at the episode where the leading lady will be kidnapped and vanished outside of Korea. As a writer, I presume you do a lot of research so where did you get this information? Have you been to my country? Have you seen the many Korean communities who migrated here? Maybe you should have interviewed them closely. That statement was irresponsible, unfair and prejudiced to our people and to our country! I would like you to apology to rectify this. We are God-fearing people and practice goodness to our fellowmen. If there are heinous crimes here, (which is also found in any country), they are quite few. So what was your basis to single out our country for kidnapping? I have watched very many dramas and movies since I admire good acting, good stories and superb production. But this drama was the biggest fallout. I am disappointment in you and your producers' dire lack of sensitivity for your Asian neighbor. Really, I don't know what are were you are going with Golden Rainbow. It was really good in the beginning with the younger cast, but shortly after the cast transitioned into the adults the script started not to go in a direction that makes no sense at all. I didn't mind that you did some revealing early in the drama, that was better than waiting and wondering with the hit and miss...but I really can't follow the drama. Did you lose interest in writing it, because it seemed to have a great many May Queen similarities...(i loved May Queen by the way) but with Golden Rainbow I believe you got stuck or you just couldn't figure out what to do with each character...the serious and overly chessy stuff that's wrote into the script for the actors/actressess! I hate to say it but Golden Rainbow is another May Queen the stories are too similar...better luck on the next drama you write....maybe you will have more time and give it a lot more thought than you gave to this drama.
